Brooklyn was trying to find a way into the building. He wasn't giving up by any means. The door had just been ultra thick to dig his talons into.

Then the door opened up again and Jayden came outside. "Brooklyn." She said his name.

Hearing his name got his attention. "Jayden." He came over to where she was. "Why did you bring my babies here? You know it's too cold for them to leave the castle right now."

"Someone special here wanted to meet them. I said they could." Jayden responded but not the way she normally would. Brooklyn heard something strange in her voice.

"Who? And why are you talking like that?" He demanded. He was now on edge.

"Like what?" Jayden asked.

"That! That voice you're doing." He pointed out furiously. "Now take me to my kids!" He snapped.

"Yes, Brooklyn, as you wish." Jayden replied. She turned and led him inside the building. At least he was getting in.

Brooklyn knew he had to keep on the alert here. Jayden soon led him into an empty room where the twins were seen lying on a desk with no one around. "Here we are." Jayden said.

Brooklyn walked over to the desk to see his kids. He saw they looked alright. They were cooing and making noise, looking around, but looked afraid too. "Don't worry, Kids. I'm gonna get you out of here." He said lovingly to them.

Brooklyn was about to turn to Jayden to direct them home. He didn't see anyone here. But without hearing anyone, suddenly, big, thick arms came from behind him and grabbed him.

"AGH!" Brooklyn yelped in surprise. He was grabbed by the throat and stomach from behind. His hands tried to grab the hand on his throat. His body struggled against his captor. Who was it though?

"Ah! Nice of you to come, Brooklyn, and supply me with your precious babies." Thailog remarked maliciously.

"Noo…" He gasped as Thailog's grip on his throat tightened. He still wriggled in his grasp. His back was tight against Thailog's front. But then, the hand on his stomach left and then returned.

Brooklyn's eyes were shut tight trying to get loose from Thailog's grip on him. He was about to kick his legs into the dark clone when a soft cloth was brought up and put over Brook's nose. It also covered his eyes, keeping him from opening them to see what was going on.

The red male breathed in some fumes that were on the cloth. He still tried to get loose, but it wasn't long before his movements slowed. He soon hung limply in Thailog's arms.

"Now I have you as well, Brooklyn." Thailog proclaimed. "Perhaps I can use you to help make more of these little prizes, but faster grown ones." He took his one hand off Brook's throat so he could still breathe properly.

Using his other arm, he put it back over Brooklyn's belly. He rubbed on the belly harshly. Then he laid him down on the desk on his back. He was curious about how the red male had been pregnant before. He had lost weight since having the twins. Thailog pressed on the belly to just feel inside it without making wounds. He felt nothing out of the ordinary that he knew of, but he knew he had to get Brooklyn restrained or do away with him now.

But Thailog wanted to see Brooklyn suffer too. To see him with his precious babies. Then he remembered the prisoner room. He carried the red male there.

In the prison room, Thailog turned Brooklyn around and put both his arms into wrist shackles on the wall. Then he strapped his ankles onto the wall too, plus his tail. This would be so fun.

Thailog smirked at seeing his prisoner bound. He knew of some things he could do to him. He would wait until he was awake for this. He would keep the twins nearby.

One of them started crying. "Attend to the baby, my dear." Thailog ordered.

"Do you have milk for babies?" Jayden asked.

"There's milk in the fridge downstairs." Thailog replied. "Use that."

"Yes, Master." Jayden replied and left to go get it.

When she returned, it was in a bottle for the baby. It was Kenji who was hungry. He knew the girl enough now to not be afraid of her.

Thailog watched her as she fed the infant. He saw that that one was a pale image of Brooklyn. "Is that one male or female?" he asked.

"Male." Jayden answered.

"And the other?"

"Female."

"Good. One of each. Now I can take their DNA and look at it or let Sevarius look at it when I get him out of jail tomorrow night." Thailog stated.

It wasn't long though until Brooklyn came to after being put into the shackles. He moaned at not feeling his feet on the floor. His arms were above his head. When he couldn't rub his head, that got him to wake up more. He looked around and felt the bonds on his limbs.

"Where am I?" he asked.

"Awake so soon, Brooklyn?" Thailog mocked him.

Brooklyn gasped and his breathing picked up. He tried to get his arms loose but to no avail. "What do you want, Thailog?!" He demanded.

"I want your precious babies, and how nice of Jayden to bring them to me. And how nice of you to join us to tell you that they are now going to be part of my coming army." Thailog explained.

"No way will my babies ever be part of your insane plans! They're mine!" Brooklyn snarled; eyes glowing. He tried to get loose. "Let me go!"

"I don't think so. But what am I going to do with you?" Thailog gave a thinking look at him. "Oh, I know… you can tell me how you got pregnant in the first place."

"I'll never tell you anything, you swine!" Brooklyn bared his teeth angrily.

"Oh, but that's no way to talk to me, Brooklyn. Either you will serve me, or I can put an end to you, just as I wanted Delilah to do it a long time ago." Thailog warned him.

"Delilah will never serve you again!" Brooklyn snarled. "Or the clones."

"I have your precious babies. I don't need them. From their DNA, I can clone them and get plenty of subjects." Thailog proclaimed.

"NO! I won't let you!" Brooklyn exclaimed.

Thailog then looked down Brooklyn's body. The red male didn't like the look he was giving him. "You will tell me how you got pregnant."

"Go suck an egg!" Brook growled.

"Very well." Thailog said. Then he brought his right fist up and then he slammed it really hard into Brooklyn's stomach.

"OOOOHHHH!" Brooklyn cried out in pain. It made him cringe. Now he felt a good surge of nausea in his belly. It also knocked the wind out of him. It was hard to breathe. His teeth were bared and his eyes closed.

"You don't talk like that to me." Thailog scolded him.

Brook could only be silent, trying to gain back his energy. Then he felt a touch on his chest. It made him flinch and open his eyes. Thailog's hand was touching him in a not so pleasant way.

"Get… your… hand… off me!" Brooklyn recoiled. He struggled despite being winded.

"I just wonder how you feed the little ones. You don't look like you've been doing it the female way." Thailog stated.

"They're bottle fed!" Brooklyn snapped.

"That's good to know, as they won't be missing you then when I finish you off." Thailog grinned evilly at him.

Then the clone of his leader went over to Jayden, and she handed him Kenji. The baby was just finishing his bottle.

Brooklyn watched in pure shock and rage that the evil clone was handling his son. He was bottle feeding him.

"Such a cute son you have here, Brooklyn. Observe him for the last time." Thailog declared. "And with you gone, the clan will have no Second in Command. That can really benefit me too."

"Goliath won't let you get away with this! He will never let you be his Second in Command, or leader of the clan!" Brooklyn glared angrily. He still felt the swirling pain in his belly but was ignoring it at the moment.

"I will get more DNA from them all and have them join your children in due time. I will finish them all off so they will no longer spoil my plans. Dr. Sevarius will examine your children and go from there too." Thailog explained.

"NO!" Brooklyn yelled in despair. He wasn't going to let this maniac do that to his clan or kids. He struggled desperately. He hoped he could escape tonight with his kids. But above everything, why had Jayden betrayed him? She had brought Sienna and Kenji here.

Kenji finally finished the bottle that Thailog was feeding him on. Then he handed the baby back to the girl behind him. Then she burped him. She still held him. There were still some things she didn't forget to do.

Then Thailog turned towards Brooklyn again. "You know, Brooklyn, I have dreamed of getting rid of you in particular for a long time. Especially when finding out you were pregnant gave me an idea, and this method was to be used if you had given birth in my custody before, a night after the birth."

"What are you talking about?" Brooklyn demanded. "I won't let you harm my kids!"

"I wouldn't dream of harming them, the little innocent beings that they are. But you, not so much. But I do need their DNA for my army." Thailog said.

Brooklyn saw the dark clone of Goliath approaching him. Then he reached into his waist belt and pulled out something golden. The red male looked down at it and it was a knuckle device that had three sharp blades on top of it.

Brooklyn gulped at the sight of it. "What… what are you gonna do?" he asked fearfully. His breathing picked up again.

"These blades are going to gut you like a fish!" Thailog exclaimed evilly.

Brooklyn's eyes widened at that. "NOOOOO!" He screamed and tried even more desperately to get loose. He felt a terrible chill penetrate his stomach. A chill also went down his spine too.

But no matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't free himself. It pleased Thailog to see him so scared for his life. When he had to stop struggling, that was when Thailog got him. Brooklyn stared at the clone as he fast jabbed the blades at the right side of his belly, making him gasp in fear.

Brooklyn closed his eyes tightly and his ears flattened immediately. He could feel the sharp hooks on the edges of the blades touching his skin.

"Any last words?" Thailog mock asked him, grinning evilly.

"Please, don't… do this…" Brook winced.

"I'm afraid I must. This will take you out of the picture for my future plans to proceed with your clan and your children will serve me from here on out." Thailog proclaimed.

Behind them, Jayden was starting to come out of her brainwashing. She rubbed her head, then she focused on what was going on around her. She saw Thailog and remembered him now. She also saw the twins on a desk. What were they doing here? But what was Thailog going to do to Brooklyn?

She saw that the dark one was threatening Brooklyn's life with the three blades jabbed at his belly. This wasn't good. She had to help the red gargoyle. He had been far fairer to her than the big one had. She saw a gun laying close by. She went to go silently grab it.

Thailog smiled big, then he raked the blades across Brooklyn's stomach, making some big wounds in his flesh.

Brooklyn screamed in pain, his eyes glowing white with his eyes closed. Pain erupted full force in the wounds and blood flowed from the wounds as well.

"Enjoy your last moments, Brooklyn. You will never see your children again!" Thailog exclaimed.

Brooklyn desperately tried to breathe. He was just barely lucky that his internal organs hadn't splattered all over the floor too. The wounds were deep. Then Thailog unlocked the shackles and released Brooklyn. He fell to the floor.

Blood splattered on the floor. It was all over Brooklyn's loincloth and belt and his stomach. Brooklyn instantly clutched at his stomach, trying to control the bleeding. His wings were also draped on the floor flatly.

Thailog knew it was a short matter of time before the red gargoyle would bleed to death before him. But then, he heard, "Let him go, you monster!" He turned to see Jayden holding a gun on him.

"Jayden, what are you doing, my dear? This one here is a monster. He has given me test subjects, but he is a threat to us. He must die." Thailog lied but explained to her.

"I don't think so. I see that you are the true monster!" Jayden retorted back at him. "You are not going to harm his babies ever!" Then she pulled the trigger on the gun.

The blast hit Thailog square in the head, knocking him over into a wall. He didn't move after that. There was some blood on the floor.

Brooklyn had barely heard Jayden come to his defense. Jayden was shocked at what she had done but then she saw the blood all around Brooklyn.

She ran to his side. "Oh man, Brooklyn! I'm so sorry!" Jayden started crying.

Brooklyn's vision was blurry. "Why?" He managed.

"Don't talk. I'm gonna get you some bandages. You can't die on me like this!" Jayden exclaimed in concern. "I'll be right back."

Jayden was in a hurry, and she scrambled around the facility, looking for anything that she could use as a bandage. She didn't see a first-aid kit anywhere. There had to be one somewhere. She came to a bathroom though.

She scrambled through the cabinets looking for anything to help. She saw some towels in there. She grabbed up three of them. They were dark colored towels. Jayden hurriedly got back to Brook's side.

"I found some towels until we can use real bandages." Jayden said. "Here, I need to wrap your middle up. Just hold on for me, Brooklyn." She pleaded for him.

Jayden got one towel spread out, then she wrapped it around his stomach. Brooklyn whimpered in pain at when she had to tighten it to tie it off. Then she wrapped a second towel around him from the opposite side to make sure that it blocked off the bleeding. Brooklyn needed stitches, no doubt about that. But the towels would have to do for now.

"Here, can you move on your hands and knees for me?" Jayden asked of him. She got a hold of him and helped him move slowly out of the bloody spot. He winced as he moved.

"Here, lay down on your back." Jayden said as she got him onto his back. His legs and loincloth were a bloody mess. Tears were in her eyes. "Brooklyn, I am so sorry for all this." She sobbed.

"Why… did you… bring my… twins here?" He rasped weakly.

"I don't know. I don't remember doing it, Brooklyn. I just now remembered that monster. He was also part of the reason I got changed into this from a human." Jayden explained. "I promise I would never hurt you of my own accord."

"Babies…" Brooklyn rasped weakly.

"Shh! Save your strength as much as you can. I have to get the others." Jayden said.

"Too far… away… Sunrise… will heal… me…" Brooklyn managed to say.

Jayden looked at a clock in the room. It was 2:40 am. "There's still a few hours until dawn, Brooklyn. You have to fight. You can't go to sleep, or you may never wake up. You lost a lot of blood." She was right by his side, and she was keeping pressure on his stomach at the moment.

Brooklyn winced with her pushing on his belly. His arms gripped hers. "Oh! It… hurts!"

"I know, but I have to keep pressure on the wounds to make sure it's controlled." Jayden declared.

Brooklyn knew he couldn't talk anymore. He was really weak at the moment. He was breathing hard.

"Try to slow your breathing down. It makes it hurt worse." Jayden said gently.

Brooklyn tried to slow his breathing down. He had his beak opened just to make sure he got the air into his lungs that he needed. He managed to open his eyes and look up at her. Why had she brought him here anyway? He felt so betrayed again. But he couldn't do anything about that right now.

After a bit, Jayden felt that the bleeding was under control, and she took her hands off of him. "I need to go find some stitches and a first-aid kit. Medical supplies." Jayden said. "I'll give the twins to you though, close to you."

Jayden got up and went and got the twins off the desk and brought them to their dad. "Stay strong for them, Brooklyn. They need you." She encouraged him. "I'll be right back."

Brooklyn kept his hands on his stomach as she left to go look for the medical supplies. His belly was in incredible pain, but he looked over at his kids and brought his right hand over to them. He wasn't going to give up without a fight.

"I'm here… for you… both… oh… Ugh!" Brook panted. His hand was covered in his own blood.

The twins were now both awake and cooing at their dad. It made him smile at them. But his vision was fading in and out.

Jayden returned with a full first-aid kit and some real bandages. "This is going to hurt, Brooklyn, but I have to stitch you up. I know I'm not a doctor, but I've seen this done before."

Brooklyn knew he would have to wait for explanations on why Jayden did what she did to him, but this couldn't wait. He nodded. "Okay…"

"I washed my hands and the needle." Jayden said. She then went about untying the towels that were soaked in Brook's blood. As she looked at the wounds under the towels, the bleeding had stopped but the wounds were deep.

Jayden threaded the needle she had found and tied a knot in the thread. She was going to have to do this the old-fashioned way. She had sewn clothing before. She started on the bottom wound first. It was just right above Brook's loincloth.

Brooklyn flinched his belly when he felt the needle poking through his flesh on his lower belly. But he let Jayden do what she had to do.

After some hard stitching up, Jayden was finally finished. Then she used the bandages to wrap around Brooklyn's whole middle. His belly was completely covered in bandages when she was done.

As much as they wanted to go home, Brooklyn wasn't going anywhere with his stomach like that, and Jayden wasn't going to leave him or the twins alone like this. There was no one here to help either. They could only wait for sunrise.

Jayden went to talking to Brooklyn to keep him distracted.

"I never meant for this to happen to you, Brooklyn. The big dark one was using me somehow to get to your babies." Jayden remembered.

Brooklyn was trying hard to stay focused. He looked at her. He was trying to breathe normally, but his lungs were working harder from the injuries.

"Keep fighting, Brooklyn. You're strong. I know that." Jayden said. "You are my friend and I love you for that."

Those words had tears in Brook's eyes. He smiled. "Thanks…" He managed to say.

"Don't talk, just rest, but stay awake." She instructed. She wasn't leaving his side for anything right now. She now held his one hand.

Sienna and Kenji were wrapped up in blankets anyway to keep them warm and snug. They were here close to their dad to keep him fighting too. Their sounds were making Brooklyn feel strong too despite his pain.

Brook was lying flat on his back with his legs bent at the knees. It helped ease some of the nausea he felt. Jayden was sitting close to him under his right wing. His other hand held his belly. He winced when he felt a big jolt of pain in the wounds.

"It's okay. Wounds are going to throb." Jayden said. Brook nodded.

Thailog hadn't stirred since Jayden shot him. She hoped she had finished him off. "I hoped you don't mind if I finished that monster."

"No… Thailog… evil… always was…" Brooklyn rasped.

"Then he won't be missed." Jayden proclaimed.

Brooklyn smiled at that. She was right. He wouldn't be missed.

The rest of the night seemed to go by too slow for Brooklyn, being in constant pain, but Jayden made sure to keep him awake and would talk to him. He would talk very minimally. He had to rest himself. He couldn't wait for sunrise.

When sunrise finally came after 6 am, Brooklyn sighed his last as his stone sleep took over. The same with Kenji and Sienna. Now all they could do was wait for sunset. Jayden still wasn't leaving their side until they woke up.

…..

At the castle, the clan had all returned home and Goliath made sure that all his clan was present. The only ones he didn't find were Brooklyn, Jayden, and the twins. Something was wrong.

The clan all looked everywhere, and they were nowhere in sight. "Where could they have gone off to?" Broadway wondered.

"Brooklyn has grown fond of the lass lately." Hudson declared.

"I know he took her out last night, but he knew better than to take his kids out of here." Goliath pondered. "Something's not right."

"We will look for them tonight, lad. There is no more time to do it now." Hudson stated.

The clan then turned to stone as the sun rose.
