One minute they had been in the church, Lilith dead, her blood opening the door to Lucifer's cage and now they were on a airplane.
"How did we get here?" Sam asked as he looked at his brother.
"I don't know, but thank god that something catapulted us into this plane and far away from that church and from Lucifer. How could you trust Ruby over your own brother Sam?"
"I'm sorry Dean. I just wanted Lilith to pay. She had to pay for taking you to hell. You don't know what it was like being left here all alone. Months, Dean, months and months went by and I tried everything to bring you back, but no one would make a deal with me because of her. I had to kill her, it was all I could think about, the only thing that kept me from eating a bullet on my darkest days without you. Ruby stopped me from killing myself, she was the only one that would help me," Sam stated.
"She helped you because she was using you to raise Lucifer. I came back Sammy, why wasn't that enough for you? I begged you to leave Lilith alone, I told you that Ruby was bad news, but you chose her over me time and time again because you needed your revenge over everything else, including me," Dean stated.
"I'm sorry Dean," Sam said.
"Later, we'll deal with all of this later. Right now, we have to find a way to hide you from Lucifer, because I'm certain that he'll be looking for you just as soon as he figures out that you're not in that church."
"Cass,if you can hear me, Sam messed up… we need your help to hide," Dean prayed.
Castiel appeared in the airplane seat next to Dean and then all three of them was in Bobby's living room.
"This should help you hide," Cass explained as he placed his hands on Dean and Sam's shoulder.
Sam and Dean cried out in pain.
"What did you do?" Dean asked in between labored breaths.
"I've carved a Enochian shielding spell in your ribs. It should keep you hidden from all Angels, including me," Cass explained.
"Cass, I'm sorry," Sam began to apologize.
"You don't have to apologize to me Sam. Anger, hatred, revenge…they can be very good motivators. Lucifer's very good at exploiting human emotions to get what he wants, you were always going to be the one to release him," Cass explained.
"I'm going to find a way to lock him back up. I have to fix this mess," Sammy stated.
"I'll do my best to help you Sam. I have to go, but I'll be by in the morning, in the meantime get some rest," Cass said and then he was gone.
"I need a drink, don't wait up," Dean said as he headed for the front door.
"Dean?"
"What?"
"Will you ever forgive me?" Sam asked.
"I don't know Sammy, what you did…there aren't words to express how disappointed I am in you."
"I'll make it right."
"The trust is broken and I don't know if you can make that right," Dean said and then walked out.
