Home is a hard to define place, and yet Tora and Kuro make it possible, even though they have to fight to survive. Their home is a life of hardship, and yet they are friendly, opening up doors to others' hearts when those that come in really need it.
Tora and Kuro are fighters, alley cats, that have made it possible to live even when everything outside of here tries to kill them. They warn of the birds, and they defend Haru and the others from them.
Home is each other, a place where they are together, and their family is always growing. It doesn't have a number limit, no point to hit, where they wouldn't bring others in. And it is here, somehow that they make a place for themselves, where the city almost seems to exist to tear them down.
There are lots of threats out there, but it is here, with them together, where even the threats are not the priority. It is family.
There is love here between the whole group, a kind of love that lays down one's life for the others, and so, when they warn of the birds, when they dive in to protect the newest cats, ones that are still kittens yet, and they lay down their lives, it is with open hearts.
Home is a hard to define place, but here, it is possible.
