I do not own RWBY or Pokemon.

A lot of things were circulating through Jaune Arc's mind as he laid unconscious. He remembered Nora acting crazy after consuming a large amount of maple syrup. He remember is running for his life. He then remember some mysterious creature calling itself Mew creating a port on the locking room and zapping him to who knows where.

He thought this was all a dream, until he woke up to see an old man staring back at him.

"Young man, are you okay?"inquired professor Oak, wondering if the individual he found was indeed okay despite the fact he literally hit his head on a rock.

"Ummm...yeah, I think I'm okay."said Jaune, before he looked around and noticed that his environment was different from the locker room.

"Um, is this the Beacon Academy infirmary?"inquired the young man, causing professor Oak to give him a confused look.

"Beacon Academy? There is no school by that name anywhere in the Kanto region."said professor Oak, making Jaune look at him with wide eyes.

He then remembered everything that happened to him earlier I decided to confirm his suspicions with a series of questions to the older man in front of him.

"Um, what about the creatures of Grimm?"inquired Jaune, deciding to start off with the most obvious question and he could come up with.

"Is that a new species of Pokemon?"responded to professor.

"What about Huntsman?"said Jaune as his second question.

"We haven't had a need for that in centuries."responded the professor.

"The moon... is it shattered?"inquired the young man as his third question.

"No, it's whole like it always has been."respond to the professor, wondering why the young man in front of him was asking all of these questions.

"Oh my Brothers...What the heck just happened to me! One moment I'm running away from my friend who's hopped up on sugar, and the next moment some pink creature teleports me to another world!"shouted Jaune has he clenched his face, unable to believe the current situation he was in.

"Young man, please calm down."said professor Oak.

"How can I become when I was literally ripped away from my home?!"responded Jaune, who started hyperventilating.

"Take deep breaths and calm down."set professor Oak to place a firm hand on Jaune's back, causing the young man to begin to think rationally and calm down as he was brought down back to Remnant so to speak.

"Haa...Ha...Ha...Okay, I'm glad I finally got that out of my system. I'm still freaking out on the inside, but at least I'm not hyperventilating."said Jaune, with a look of dread on his face, as he realized that he was in quite the predicament.

Not only was he not in his world, he had no idea how to get back to Remnant as he figured that pink kangaroo creature wouldn't let him come back until it decided to.

"Can you describe the creature that brought you here?"inquired professor Oak.

"It was a small creature with rounded features...um, it had a really long tail...And, it was covered in pink fur!"said Jaune, causing the professor to point out a nearby wall.

Said was had a stone carving of the Pokemon known as Mew.

"Is that the creature who brought you here?"inquired the professor.

"Yes! That's the creature that brought me here!"said Jaune, recognizing the creature right away as the creature who literally kidnapped him from Beacon Academy boys locker room.

"Hmm... this is starting to make sense now."said professor Oak.

"What do you mean?"inquired Jaune, wanting to know what the professor meant by that.

"Mew is known to take things when it becomes interested in them. The fact that Mew is a powerful mythical Pokemon doesn't surprise me by the fact that it has the power to travel to other worlds. Son, I'm afraid you've been kidnapped by the ancestor of all mortal Pokemon, Mew."said professor Oak, who was oddly calm.

"You're oddly calm even though you're in the face of an alien..."said Jaune, who was a little unsettled.

"We'll to be honest, you're not the first visitor from another world who came to our world. Your the first humanoid who was literally kidnapped by Mew, but you're definitely not the first visitor."said professor Oak, who knew that the owner of first visitor was Deoxys.

"Okay... I have a million questions, but I think I'll start off with the most obvious. Where am I?"inquired Jaune, wanting to know where he was.

"Your on the planet Earth. Specifically in the Kanto region. More specifically in Pallet Town."answer the professor.

"You called this Mew creature the ancestor of all Pokemon. What the heck is a Pokemon?"inquired Jaune Arc, wanting to know everything he can about his kidnapper.

"Pokemon are magnificent creatures that can harness the very forces of nature. There are over a thousand known species of Pokemon, with new ones being discovered every day. Pokemon have the power to do things like breathe fire, create powerful gusts of wind, shoot electricity, and so much more. Here on Earth, Pokemon and humanity live in a stable period of peace. Although there are a few bad eggs here and there. Pokemon get along with human so great in fact, that some allow themselves to be captured and trained for the purpose of competitive battle."said the professor, causing Jaune to do a double take

"Wait. They allow themselves to be captured and trained for battle? That sounds a little fishy."said Jaune honestly, making the professor chuckle a little.

"Yes, I suppose someone from another world wouldn't understand. To answer your question, yes Pokemon will allow themselves to be captured at times. This is because pokémon society is ruled by strength. Pokemon have the natural urge to get stronger, a long time ago they discovered that that process happens at a faster rate when joined with a human, known as a Pokemon trainer. Pokemon can leave their trainers anytime they want, but most decide to stay as they want to get stronger. At the end of the day, it's the Pokemon's decision to stay."explains the professor.

"I'm still skeptical about the whole thing but as long as these Pokemon are cool with it, I guess that's all that matters."said Jaune, who still had a million questions, but figured it was different world different rules kind of situation.

"You're awfully calm yourself for someone who lives kidnapped from their own world."notice the professor.

"Well, I'm just focusing on the fact that I'm not dead and I'm not in a situation that's worse than death. So I'm considering myself lucky for that at least."said Jaune, trying his best to focus on the positive so he doesn't freak out with all the negatives.

"Hmm... well I'm not sure how we can get you back home as one, I don't know where your home is. Amd two, I doubt Mew will allow you to go home until your purpose here on Earth has been fulfilled."said the professor, causing Jaune to look at him.

"Purpose?"inquired the young man.

"Mew never does anything without a reason. I don't know why it decided to kidnap you from your world, but I have a feeling it won't let you go back until you fulfill whatever purpose Mew as in mind."said professor Oak, who had a feeling that his theory was right on the poke-dollar.

"So I'm stuck on this planet until I feel some task or something?"inquired the young man.

"This is only an educated guess, but I have a feeling the answer is yes."said the professor, who didn't mean to rhyme.

"Haaa... well what am I going to do for food and shelter? I don't think this Mew thought this through."said Jaune, as starting over the new place was always hard.

Starting over in the new world was an entirely different story.

"Hmmm... well if you want, you can stay here for as long as you need."said the professor, making Jaune look at him with a curious look.

"Are you sure? I mean, you barely even know me."pointed out Jaune.

"Hahahahah! As a colleague of mine once said."Helping out others is just the right thing to do."said professor Oak, referencing a fellow professor who lives far away from Kanto.

"I'll... I'll take you up on your offer! And I promise to do my best not to be a burden."said Jaune, who lived under the Creed that those who did not work did not eat, something his mother installed into him.

"Well I look forward to working with you...Oh, I realize we've been talking all this time and yet we still have any told each other are names."said the professor, who barely noticed this.

"I'm Jaune Arc."said Jaune as he extended his hand

"I'm professor Samuel Oak."said the professor as he shook Jaune's hand

"I look forward to working with you, professor, at least until I can figure out a way to get back home."said Jaune with a smile.

"I hope so, too."responded to professor.

Little ldid the men in the laboratory know that they were being watched. Currently they were being watched by a small yellow mouse like creature, who is looking at Jaune in particular.

"Pika."said the creature as it continued looking at Jaune, wondering why he was drawn to him.

Phew... I finally managed to get a chapter out after weeks of writer's block!

Man, this was not an easy story to write despite the fact that it's a story I've been wanting to write for a long time.

Next chapter Jaune and his starter Pokemon will officially become a team.

Will they be able to get along?

Only one way to find out!

I already have most of the team picked out, but if you have any suggestions for Jaune's Kanto Pokemon team, feel free to leave a comment or send me a private message.

That is all I had to say.

I'm General Jaguar, and I am out of here!
