It was a new dawn within Lute Village. The Armored Hero's party had decided to stay here until the eggs were hatched and the creatures within raised at the right level. Being within this town and its area would serve them all well as they would have everything they need incase of any emergencies.

With the thanks from the people who the heroes saved from the last Wave, Cody and his party were given the suite as a reward for their help in saving their village and the people within. And while the young hero was thankful, he rather just be seen as a normal person… even if that was impossible.

Cody decided to just accept it and move on, as at the moment he was looking over the three eggs. Each one placed in a small heat cup for them to incubate as the three waited for the creatures to be hatched.

"Think we'll actually get a dragon from one of these?" Rifanna questioned.

"Hard to say. While he said we 'could' get a dragon from these gacha eggs… He also didn't say it could be a dud too…" Cody frowned, knowing that should that hunch be right, he's going to never return to that oaf again, "I just hope I don't get any junk rares…" he muttered to himself.

"Um… Cody? What does any of that mean?" Raphtalia questioned, since he never did shy away from telling the two girls about his world and what lay within it.

"Don't worry about it." he waved off their concerns as they noticed the eggs were beginning to hatch.

Anticipation grew more before within seconds the eggs hatched one by one. The first one was indeed a Filolial, but with pink feathers alongside its normal white ones.

"Aw, that's so cute!" the girls cooed.

The second one was luckily a dragon, with soft red scales and a few 'feathers' on top of its head as it yawned before stretching its legs.

The Armored Hero got up and pumped his fist, "YEAH BAYBEEE! We hit the big time!" he cheered.

And finally the last egg hatched into another Filolial, but much smaller than the other one, with blue and yellow feathers with its normal white one.

"Huh, think this last one's a runt?" Rifana pondered.

The smaller avian monster cawed before it fluttered about before it rested on Cody's head, like it was a nest.

"I think that last one likes you." Raphtalia chuckled.

"I think they all do…" Cody noted as the other Filolian rested on its shoulder and the small dragon sat on his other shoulder, but much closer to his face, glaring at the two avian monsters.

"And seems the usual Filolial's and dragon hatred has come through." Rifanna giggled.

"As long as they don't make a mess on me or our gear, we'll have to deal with any problems that arise." the Armored Hero grumbled softly before getting up and cleaning up the egg shells, "Come on, girls. We should probably get going. It's early enough that most of the usual bandits are just waking up."

"Then let us depart! As your sword-" Raphtalia started with her sword drawn.

"And your shadow-" Rifanna added with her daggers spinning around her finger.

"We will fight alongside our Hero." The girls said in unison.

Cody couldn't help but smile at their dedication to him. He soon began to feel worried about their safety. After all, he nearly lost them had his friends not brought up enough evidence to change the king's decision. Luckily, before he returned to his quarters that day, he did receive a small apology for the event.

"I did not notice the distress in your eyes when I asked you that question. While you may be a Grongi, you are still one of the Cardinal Heroes." The Armored Hero recalled the words that the king said to him.

"Hmph… still have yet to truly apologize and reverse his decision…" Cody noted, knowing that this was more of just to make sure the ears of the public knew it was an unfair fight.

"It's going to sadly take time for him to review the evidence sadly, since both sides are well… very vocal." Raphtalia agreed, "I'm just grateful that he at least apologized."

"Yet no payment that he promised. Ibarra and Wren had to give me theirs as compensation." Cody pointed out as he held both Sword and Bow Heroes' payments.

"Then we'll just help around the Village and repay them back!" Rifanna smiled.

"I guess." the Armored Hero said before he began to stretch, "Besides, we're definitely going to need the extra money now that we got more mouths to feed."

At the Spear Hero's camp, Motoyasu was lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling and contemplating what had happened two days ago.

He had won that fight. He proved that the gaijin was an enemy! Yet the others simply stopped and sided with him…

"He's a Kamen Rider. He's nothing like them."

"Can you honestly believe your words now, from seeing this, Sir Motoyasu?"

"If you truly were a 'hero' you would have done the same thing!"

Those words they spoke of kept repeating in his mind, Motoyasu growled as he slammed his fist against the table near his bedside, breaking it with ease.

"I wasn't in the wrong…. He is the enemy!" The Spear Hero growled with annoyance and anger.

Cody had to be the enemy, he used the Grongi's power after all. Because if he wasn't, if what he thought of the Armored Hero was wrong…

Then what did that make him?

"Sir Motoyasu! Are you okay?" a worried Malty asked as she and the other girls rushed into his room, having heard the table break from downstairs.

"Oh, right. Sorry about that girls. I was just… I was just trying to kill a bug that might have gotten to you. Yeah, that's it!" he lied.

Malty seemingly believed that, but the other girls didn't.

"Well, I believe I found a few things that might cheer you up! A case of a hero in need…" the princess offered, her venomous lies whispering into his heart once again. "But also… seems I proclaimed the rights to a nearby village. We can head there once we finish our tasks as Heroes, no?"

Motoyasu nodded, "I guess so…" he reluctantly agreed.

'I will be the true hero of this world… It's what I'm destined for.'

"What do you mean you gave the money to Kuuga?!" an irate Tak yelled at Ibarra, the group having gone back on the road after what happened yesterday.

"H-He was given no reward after both the Wave and that fixed fight! Me and Wren had to do something to help kuya!" Ibarra raised his hands in defense to the annoyances of his teammates.

Annoyed, Skips placed his palm to his face, "Oi vey… what are we going to do with you…"

"Well, the kid isn't noting if honest." Goun chuckled, having given the Bow Hero his approval a bit earlier.

"I-I think Sir Ibarra did the right thing! W-While we may still get help… The Armored Hero is barely getting any support." Rishia defended the Bow Hero, knowing he was just wanting to do the right thing for a friend in need.

"Rishia, you need to stop defending every action this idiot takes!" Tak berated his sister, "I swear, he's going to get us all killed one day if he's not careful!"

"Maybe if you just tell him that you lo-" Lei was about to finish the sentence before Rishia covered her mouth again.

"What was that?" Tak asked as the bickering got to the Bow Hero's nerves.

"Hey, everyone! Can we please stop fighting, please?" Ibarra pleaded with his party, "Look, I know I screwed up, but what was I supposed to do? Just sit by and let kuya get bullied like that?!"

The others in his party stayed silent, knowing that he was right about that. The insults, harassment, and attacks the young Armored Hero was given simply due to Malty and the King's words would be difficult for anyone to live by.

"I suppose you are right…" the mage begrudgingly agreed.

"Then, please… Understand that at this moment, only us, kuya Wren, and those girls that are with him. They're the only help he has", Ibarra reminded the group before turning towards Skips and Lei, "And you all joined me to make sure others don't suffer… remember?"

"I guess so." Skips said, "I'm not mad about the money being gone. But I just wish you at least ran that idea by us in the first place."

"I'll try and do that next time…" Ibarra promised.

"Good. Now… Let's get to some quests to make up for what was lost, okay?" Lei patted the Bow Hero's shoulder.

"AYE AYE!" the rest of the party, even Tak to his chagrin, cheered.

Wren was sharpening his legendary sword, already knowing the looks and worries of his team as his mind pondered on how to approach it. They learned about their hero giving away his portion of the money to help the Armored Hero. But without money, they couldn't go across the next border to train and improve.

Wren wanted to find the right words to explain to everyone about his decision. As selfless as it may be, he also promised them a portion as well. And that promise was broken from his actions and he didn't know what to do next. Only hoping the words from his homeland and past king will give him advice again to bring back his teammates and prove to them once more he is worthy to be their team leader.

"Look, we don't exactly blame you for well… giving up the cash to Cody." Sherra tried to reassure him, but the knight was still focused on his sharpening.

"I broke a promise, a promise I made with you all. I am pondering, should I just end this?" He questioned, touching the tip of the blade.

"What?! No way!" Kage shouted, "You helped the Armored Hero."

"In my home, a promise is a right of truth and honor. By breaking it, means I betrayed you all and deserve the greatest punishment…."

Sherra however shook her head, "Neither Kage nor myself really blame you for your action. Sure, we might be a bit miffed. But after what we saw with Cody, he really needed the money."

"Yeah, just remember to inform us next time you decide to keep playing the boyscout." Kage waved off before patting their leader's shoulder.

Wren looked to his two comrades. Amused that within this world, such a divine punishment wasn't needed. He soon sheathed his sword before bowing to the two.

"I promise. Next time, we will discuss this together… as the team we are." Wren humbled the others, showing his fault but accepting the results as well.

A week has went by as Cody waited for Raphtalia and Rifana to finish bathing, he spent his time watching over the newly born Filolials and dragon. The young hero pondering at the names for the three beasts he has as while the dragon and the smaller Filolial bickered, the first born one separated the two with a heavy sigh, it seems she was like the big sister to them.

"Heh, I know that feeling." Cody muttered with a snicker as he reached over to gently pet the bigger Filolial before noticing it's pink feathers almost resembled cherry blossom petals. "Hmm… Sakura… Yeah. I think I'll refer to you as Sakura." He said before his Status Screen accepted the name for the first born.

Meanwhile, the dragon soon began to paw the ground, ready to hit the little Filolial before charging at her. Luckily, the little Filolial dodged it… only to hit Cody square in the knee.

"GEH!" Cody cringed from the pain, rubbing his knee.

The dragon looked to the young hero with shock before looking back to the small avian monster as it seemed very angry. It was ready to launch a small fireball at it, only for Cody's hand to get in between the two, making them look up at him confused.

"Now now… No need to go so far. Besides, it was no real damage." Cody said, revealing the truth as he revealed there was no real mark from the bump.

He then noticed how the dragon's horns curled upwards, reminding him of something familiar.

"Hehe, you remind me of a small purple dragon with just as much passion and fire in his heart." Cody chuckled, reminisced before smiling, "Mordred… That's your name little dragon."

Mordred seemed to like her new name while the little Filolial looked up to the Armored Hero with puppy dog eyes. Cody simply smiled as he patted her head too.

"Don't worry, I'm giving you a simple name. 'Filo'." He said to the avian monster, giving the last one its name as his Status Magic registered it.

"Cody, are you okay?!" He heard the girls call out, as their footsteps got closer.

"No worries, I'm fi-" Almost immediately the Armored Hero blushed hard. Both girls were quickly out of the bathtub, weapons in hand…. But only that on their person. Cody was unable to look away from the girls since they had no changed from their teen selves… to young adult ladies around his age.

"But we heard-"

*THUD*

Cody fell to the ground, blood oozing from his nose as it seemed he passed out from the sight of seeing the two naked ladies. Sakura soon began angrily while holding her feathers over Mordred and Filo's eyes. Of course, the two demihumans screamed in terror from seeing Cody pass out like that. They both quickly did what they could to stop the bleeding and recover the young Armored Hero.

'I…. saw…. Heaven….' Cody's got out in his thoughts before everything went black.

XXX

"Ugh…" Cody groaned softly, slowly opening his eyes to see Raphtalia above him alongside Rifanna with a wet towel.

"Ah! Cody!" The girls gasped, with them hugging the young man.

"G-Girls! Air!" Cody patted the two's arms before they quickly let go so he could breath.

Thankfully they let go before all three looked away, embarrassed.

"I-Is.. everything okay…?" Raphtalia asked with a soft tone.

"Y-Yeah. N-No worries…" he said

"S-So… what happened before um… 'that'?" Rifanna asked him.

"Well.. I was finally naming them… As both Filo and Mordred seemed to argue before fighting. It caused Filo to fly into my knee, but like I told them, I'm okay."

"Filo?"

"Mordred?" The girls blinked as they looked to the three beasts.

"Yes. Filo is the small one, full of energy. Mordred is the dragon, completely a punk, but one with passion. And finally Sakura, the older sibling to them." He gestured the two girls to their new comrades as the beasts chirped or gave a small roar. "We're going to be training you three to get stronger… I need your help to rescue this world."

The three critters chirped and roared in approval, at least before Sakura gave Raphtalia and Rifana the stink eye for earlier.

"We're sorry…" they apologized.

"Even still, we're going to have to work a lot harder now that we're a party of six. I hope you three learn quickly, alright?" He asked the three beasts before gently patting their heads, the trio letting out chirps of approval before he turned towards the girls, who were about to change.

"T-This is going to get harder to move around too!" Cody blushed, turning away so he wouldn't peak a second time. One glance of paradise was enough for him.

XXX

The journey to the next town was silent, mostly due to Raphtalia still being extremely embarrassed about the bath incident.

"So, any info about this next town we're visiting?" Cody asked the two girls, as the three beast sisters were on his head or shoulders.

"From what I hear, it's a small farming village." Rifana recalled.

"Farming, huh?" Cody noted as he gently looked at the beast sisters, "You three best not go off and eat the crops. I can't afford to pay them back, okay?" He said, softly scolding them should the three beasts do just that.

The sisters nodded before the Armored Hero turned towards the road ahead.

"Now, I'd like you, Raphtalia to get us a room here. Rifanna? Tavern. Listen from the shadows and hear anything that could be useful for us to earn a good pay. I'll have a simply walk around and see if there's any extra trouble that needs to be dealt with." Cody ordered his team.

"Yes sir!" The girls cheered along with a salute before the two headed off.

Cody smiled before he looked to the beast sisters on his person, "Shall we find something or will it come to us?" He questioned them.

Sakura merely shrugged her wings while Mordred was indifferent. With a chuckle, Cody took off into the deeper places of the town, curious what this place may have in store for them all.

As the Armored Hero walked about, he was looking through the stats of the beast sisters, seeing if they have any hidden abilities or skills due to their species. So far, he barely found much other than simple or basic stuff referring to their species. Flight, wind or fire control, and animal speech.

It made him wonder how they'll become once they start getting levels. Will they change like Raphtalia and Rifanna, or will they remain the same? Since he knew nothing about this world's mechanics with their magic and monsters, he's unsure what could even happen at this point.

"This is gonna be tough." He groaned.

Filo took notice of something, pecking at her master's head. He was confused before it made a few chirps to the direction. Cody took notice as he briefly saw a hooded person enter an alleyway.

"That might be just what I need… good job, Filo." He praised the smaller Filolial.

Filo chirped happily before he tried to find the mysterious hooded man. The alleyway was tighter to get through alongside it being very shaded from the light. It might be trouble, but he'll be fine as long as there was no surprises.

Cody began to squeeze and move through the alleyway as he pondered what the hooded figure was and what they wanted. But his gut was telling him to be on guard soon, and in this world he had to trust his gut.

"Stay close now." He told the sisters. They nodded as they buried their bodies a bit more into the young hero's body.

As he ventured further, the small path now got wider for him as he was now in a pocket where it seemed to be a dead end. The buildings around it practically made it into a hiding hole, far off from prying eyes and ears.

"Hmm… not bad… this place would be useful for a hidden meeting area." Cody noted but was ready as he summoned his belt, letting the small gem light the area as it hummed softly, ready to change the young man should he need to.

"Tsk, to think the Sword and Bow would side with the Armored Devil." He heard one person snarl.

He soon quickly deactivated his belt to turn off the light and hide within the shadows. While he may not have night vision, he always was good at hearing things. So he remained quiet to listen in on whoever this person was.

"It doesn't matter. Join the devil or join the kingdom? Who cares…. The plan is still in place and soon, our Excellency will prevail." another person spoke up.

"At the very least, we can bring in a new Sword and Bow Hero to replace those imposters." The first person sighed.

'Just what are these people talking about?' Cody pondered in thought.

"Any word where the Armored Hero is currently?" One of the three people spoke up.

"Last I heard from our spies, he was in Lute Village. But knowing that devil, he's already on the move."

"Then we can figure out where he's heading and set a trap up. The quicker we kill that devil, the easier things will be for us and the Excellency."

"And the faster we can deprive Daguva of his greatest soldier."

But as the Armored Hero tried to remain quiet to get more info… Filo was unable to resist as it let out a sneeze, signaling the hooded people to spawn an orb of light, now revealing Cody there with the three beast sisters.

"Welp, this plan backfired…" Cody gulped before making a break for it.

"Stop right there, Grongi scum!"

"Gonna have to catch me before I tell the local authorities about this!" Cody taunted, wanting to have them follow him in a more open area to fight.

"You can't get away, freak!" The other person roared, "Stop in the name of the church!"

"Church? I didn't know you were part of the Loser Club Church! I wonder if you've met Motoyasu yet?" The Armored Hero taunted them more as he squeezed through the alleyway and began to backtrack to the more open parts of the town.

He then reached a forest clearing just out of town, perfect spot for him to fight the two Church members without worries of casualties.

"You three get to a safe place, I can handle them now." Cody ordered the three beast sisters before he prepared to transform. As the two assailants got out themselves, Cody summoned his belt before taking a deep breath.

"Henshin!"

As he pressed the button, the Armored Hero quickly entered his Mighty Form.

"Come on then! Let's see if you losers can actually back up what you preach!" Kuuga taunted as he got into a fighting stance.

This angered the two followers as they fired off several magic blasts. The Rider's eyes widened behind the helmet as he deflected one before dodging the other blasts. He winced in pain as the blast was a bit stronger than he thought.

"Note to self… don't imitate DBZ just cause you got powers now…" Kuuga hissed out from the pain, shaking the hands he used to deflect the magic blast. "Come on, is that the best you can do?"

"Die, Devil!" One shouted, brandishing a blade and charged towards the Rider.

Kuuga then dashed to the side and quickly punched the man in the stomach. The assailant coughed and gasped from the hard hit before a knee struck him and knocked out the second assailant.

"Grk! Take this!" the first assassin snarled before he let loose a burst of ice crystals at him.

Kuuga was about to block to defend himself, but soon a gust of wind and fire shouted out, melting the ice crystals enough for them to shatter easily. The Rider's blinked as he turned his head to see his three beast sisters together, glaring at the assailants.

"Huh?! When did you-?!"

Mordred roared as she flew ahead, biting the assailant while letting out some flames to enhance her bite. Neither younger sister didn't want to sit on the sidelines while he fought for his life, they wanted to fight alongside the Armored Hero instead. In spite of Sakura's warnings, she was forced to chase after her sisters.

"Girls…" Kuuga muttered with pride in his heart from it.

"Lousy dragon!" The assailant hissed, swiping at Morded with a dagger as it nicked her face and chest.

"Hey, don't go anywhere near them!" the Armored Hero roared as he knocked the assassin away with a right hook to the side of the head..

As the assailant dropped to the ground, so did Mordred as Kuuga rushed to her side with a worried look. Sakura flew over as it started to chirp and sing, only for them a calming glow flowed into Mordred to slowly recover the wound she received.

'Some kind of healing song?' Kuuga pondered in his thoughts before looking back to the assailants, 'I should probably bring them in, to be safe. But then again, they are of the Church. There's a good chance that I could end up in trouble.'

As Kuuga looked around, he sees Filo coming back with rope in its beak. He took it up as he tied the two assailants up before petting Filo.

"Good job to you too…" He praised her before going back to Sakura and Mordred. "How's her wound?"

Sakura continued to sing for a bit longer before stopping. She panted heavily as it must've been taxing on her as the wounds on Mordred was healed, but now remained a noticeable scar on her body. The small dragon whimpered as it got up, only for Sakura and Filo to nuzzle the dragon with relief.

"Heh, see? You all can get along." Cody smiled softly at them. "Come on, let's get these two to the authorities for their attack."

XXX

Thankfully when he got back, neither Raphtalia nor Rifana knew what had happened. When they asked about the scar, Cody lied and said that Mordred tried to fly and got hurt. The two assailants that were brought in tried to put the blame on Cody, but no one believed them.

"Hmm… well… if you say so. Then we trust you, Cody." Raphtalia nodded.

He chuckled as he placed down some beds for the sisters while he finally went into the room that he, Raphtalia, and Rifana were going to stay in… only to find two beds there.

"Uh… Raphtalia? Why are there only two beds?"

"Sorry about this. This was all they had. It was either this room or a one bed room to rent…" She apologized, beginning to blush at the mere thought of all three of them sharing a bed together.

Cody rubbed his head but nodded, "Well better than nothing. You two can share the other bed." He gestured, despite not noticing the frown from the girls upon them hearing that.

"Bright side, I figured out what these sisters are like." Cody smiled pointing to the sleeping beast sisters. "Sakura is a bard, fully using her avian vocals for buffs, debuffs and healing. Mordred is a Ember Dragon, meant for fire power not the usual bipedal speed type we have seen. And Filo… well… um…" He pondered as it seemed whatever she would become was locked off to him for now.

"You still got nothing?" the girls correctly guessed in unison.

"Yeah… But I'm sure she'll be something good for us."

As they sighed, the three were preparing to head to bed, only to find the beast sisters sleeping on the first bed, cuddled together and slightly bigger than before. None of them had the heart to wake them up, since they were left noticing how cute they were.

"Well… guess I'll take the flo-" Cody was about to take a pillow to sleep on, only for him to be pulled back.

"N-No, you're staying with us." Raphtalia said, "J-Just… please don't do… that."

It was clear that Raphtalia was embarrassed, but Rifana sighed.

"Come on, we can't keep skirting around this." she grumbled to her fellow party members.

"R-Right… sides who knows if we'll stay in this town after tonight. Might as well just get this over with and sleep together." Cody nodded, trying to be logical about this.

With them gulping down any fears, the trio got into the bed to sleep. Of course, the three of them were very embarrassed and it felt really awkward as the silence drew over them as they laid there, waiting for the slumber to hit the group.

"S-Say… girls?" Cody spoke up to them. "I'm… truly glad for what you both did for me back in that arena… I… I felt like I was fully alone when I lost… and that… I felt like the world should've just burned when you were almost taken away from me…"

"W-We know." Raphtalia reassured him, "If I'm gonna be honest… I felt scared too." she admitted.

"As did I… I don't know what I'd do if we weren't together and connected…" Rifanna admitted, before hugging the young hero. "But that didn't happen… nor will it ever happen again.. This we swore."

Cody smiled as he nodded to her, hugging the two and patting their heads, "Agreed… We're stronger than we were before… and I won't let anything happen to you two. Not ever again…"

As they hugged, the three soon fell asleep each other's embrace very much like the beast sisters had done.

A/N:

HackerEX: Kept you waiting, huh?

Striberx: Very sorry for the wait everyone. I was kinda out of commission for awhile due to a covid hit.

HackerEX: Meanwhile I've had life and writer's block tag team me. Luckily, I was able to help a lot with KR Duelists' works like Kamen Rider GX and Way of the Dragon Knuckle. That being said, I am going to come back to EoT before the year ends. Especially with part 1 of a new special released for Rider Time Chronicles.

Striberx: I wish you the best man! But yeah, I'm back now too. So expect many stories to be updated very soon.

HackerEX: But enough of that, time to talk this chapter specifically and yeah, looks like Wren and Ibarra are gonna have to work a bit harder than Ren and Itsuki did in canon, since they gave their share of the king's reward to Cody.

Striberx: Mhm. Like how we did with earlier chaps, we're want to give this new Sword and Bow Hero more than what the OG series has done. Of course they all have had some redeems later on. But with this? We wanted to give them something more, thus making them allies at the start instead of after they fucked up. Of course, with what Season 3 of SH has shown, I am aware of whats to come and what needs to happen. Luckily I got an idea on how that works.

HackerEX: That being said, they're still human and they will end up butting heads with their parties from time to time. Also, Motoyasu finally gets a focus snippet after like what? Four chapters since his debut?

Striberx: But don't expect the same treatment. Motoyasu is still gonna be what he was for the first season and barely do anything for S2 and his weird change for S3. Not much from him will change.

HackerEX: However that doesn't mean he's completely stupid, we wanted to showcase his doubt in if either he or Cody is the real bad guy.

Striberx: Of course, Malty and her lies still wraps around his neck, making him unable to truly think for himself… yet. We'll make certain seeds be made, but don't expect much until like season 2 or 3 of this story.

HackerEX: Also, for those expecting us to give names to Motoyasu's party? Well, the current party sans might have to go unnamed for the most part.

Striberx: True, they do have names and what not. But we don't know about it, at least for us either watching the anime or reading the manga until like Season 3/during the training for the Phoenix Beast.

HackerEX: Or doing background checks on them on something like the Shield Hero wiki or Shield Hero's Character tropes page

Striberx: And given how Malty and Mald are the only ones that do actual damage? We agreed to just leave his party alone until its needed for the story, which so far is only one character but we can deal with that later. Atm, naming them is not necessary.

HackerEX: Also, don't expect Rino, one of the few Spear Hero party members to actually get a focus role, to end up like she did in canon. Since there's a good chance she might end up on the other two Heroes' parties.

Striberx: Mhm but only time will tell and what may change later on. Short chap this may be, but sometimes its fine to have on. Until next time, later minna!
