"Why do you think that they keep trying to kill the girls?' he asks his guard who stares at the metal plates.
"From what the necromancers say, the Leaf couldn't just kill the girls because the other villages would say that the Leaf didn't keep their side of the deal."
"Meaning that the other villages would attack them in retaliation.' he finished his friend's words.
He leaned back on his chair and looked at the ceiling of his office.
" It shouldn't have been this way.' he says with a somber tone.
He can still remember both feelings and seeing the excitement on everyone's faces, when everyone found out that the world of Naruto was real.
"hey if we hadn't been attacked, how do you think?" he started to ask but his old friend just shook his head.
He didn't say anything anymore.
"It shouldn't have been this way" he repeated, as he picked up another forehead protector.
"We agreed to never ask those stupid questions, and you would be doing yourself a favor to never ask about things that we can't change."
"What's done is done and we aren't the same men that thought that they could come here say a couple of words and end the war." his guard says to him.
"That's true." he says to his old friend, as he remembers how some men and boys tried to talk to one of the ninjas, only to be killed before they could even say a word.
It didn't take long for everyone to understand that the only reason that anyone even listened to Naruto, was because the guy had the power to make them listen to what he had to say.
The videos that were shown to everyone around the world destroyed the narratives of anyone who claimed that the Earth was the aggressor.
The videos showed that the ninjas weren't interested in talking to anyone.
Hope and joy quickly turned to grief and hate.
"There's a funny thing about the Humans of Earth and it's something that we don't share with the people of this world."
"If we find something that is a real danger to our existence, we somehow manage to put all of our hatred for each other aside, so that we can kill that thing and make sure that it's no longer a threat." he thinks to himself.
It was only three hours after the first videos appeared on the internet, that entire schools were filled with fantasy and science fiction books.
For the first time in our history, everyone was looking for the smallest piece of information that would help us push the threat back.
If chakra was real then there had to be a way for us to fight against it, after all, if one fantasy universe was real then that meant that there was a chance that they were all real.
Back then it didn't matter if you couldn't read or write, you could learn to use a gun and it didn't take a lot of effort to repeat the word needed to make a spell work.
he wondered what the ninjas might have thought when they ran into the soldiers chanting or trying to perform some kind of spell that didn't work.
Ancient schools that had always been forbidden entrance to the outside world, were forced to open their doors and teach everyone what they knew.
But even their ancient teachings barely made any difference as it took too long to train anyone to master chi and ki and the ninjas had years of combat experience.
More and more the ninjas pushed deeper into Earth and the days seemed to grow darker because no matter how good our weapons were, they couldn't do anything against the Super Humans Monsters amongst the ninjas.
Things just kept getting more and more desperate and the governments finally ignored the rules of war and unleashed every weapon that they had agreed to never use.
If the enemy was going to use monsters against us, then we would use our own.
The fighting just kept on dragging on until a group of friends found something that made a simple spell work.
He didn't know what that spell was, only that the group immediately began to unleash one massive spell after another.
Before anyone knew what was going on, the earth was filled with shockwaves that only affected the ninjas and made it impossible for them to survive on Earth.
The group showed themselves and shared their discovery with everyone.
That same day they announced that they had cast a spell that killed and made it impossible for anyone to hold a monopoly over the power that made the spells work.
Needless to say, they quickly became the enemies of every rich person, dictator, and government that was left.
So after a year and a half, everyone was finally allowed to see what the places that the ninja had taken over looked like, and in a cold hatred-filled moment everyone swore vengeance.
There were hardly any people left, and those who were still alive in the areas that the ninjas had occupied were either so traumatized that they were afraid of their own shadows.
Or had their minds broken in such a way that they were more machines than people.
Revenge was the only thing that everyone wanted back then, so with a single roar that came from a soldier who found the tear in reality that led into the ninja world every soldier charged at the gate.
Even though their superiors yelled at them not to do it, and threatened to have them either executed or court-martialed, everyone still charged into certain death.
The siege lasted for three years and both sides lost a lot of people.
Maybe it was all of the Human sacrifices that the ninjas found Earth's soldiers performing, to gain the favor of some dark god whose attention was caught because of all of the deaths during the war.
Maybe it was the fact that the governments unleashed their superweapons without any care in the ninja's side of the tear.
Or many it was because the war had poisoned both worlds so much that both worlds were forced to stop or be destroyed.
Maybe it was true that the ninja world was breaking because Earth was doing to it, what its ninjas had done to Earth's people.
The truth was that he was happy that the war ended, even if it was only for now.
Who knows where the mountain and all of the other places popped out from where the tears in reality used to be.
Maybe they were from another fantasy world, but he honestly didn't care because, in the end, the mountain was one of the only places that the veterans had to live in, as it was the only place that had people who weren't afraid of them.
He is pulled away from his thoughts when he sees the door to his office open.
"Sir I'm sorry for interrupting your free time but there is something that you have to see.' one of the scouts says to him before he hands him a folder filled with pictures and what looks like a contract.
"What is this?" he asks the scout.
'The Land of Rain and the Land of Rivers are offering their allegiance in chance for our help if they are ever attacked." the scout says to him.
He starts to read the contract and then looks at the pictures that came with it.
The pictures show how both the Land of Rivers and Rain looked before the war and how they look now.
The contract explained how the larger countries use the smaller countries to fight their wars without any care for the people that live in them.
The contract also said, that while both the Land of Rivers and Rain didn't like the Earth for taking part in nearly destroying them, they understood that the Earth was only retaliating for the invasion.
They offered to help the Mountain and the earth should another war happen and expected the mountain and the earth to do the same for them.
The Land of Rivers was offering to buy whatever materials the Mountain could spare so that they could rebuild everything that was lost but they said that they could only pay in gold.
The Rain said the same thing but it said that it could only offer its people labor so that it could pay for the materials needed.
"Tell them that I'll only agree to it if they allow our people to enter and leave whenever they want and if they want to put a guide next to them so that they don't do something that they aren't supposed to. to go ahead and do it." he says to his scout.
He doesn't say anything as the scout begins to chant a spell that turns him into a puddle of water that quickly reforms back into its human form.
"They said yes." the scout says to him.
He signs his name next to the names of whoever the leaders of these two lands were before making two copies of it and handing the scout the original.
