This is to celebrate Kakashi and Sakura's Awkward Adventures at Sex reaching 5k views (yay!)
and It was a request from the lovely shiningstardan on Tumblr. And to thank them for looking through my stuff, I decided to gift this tiny fic to her. It's going to be no more than 5 chapters and will be updated all before Christmas.
So thank you! And thanks shiningstardan for letting me bounce ideas off you when you have important Uni stuff to work on. I do feel bad for bugging you.
No beta, all mistakes are mine.

The Title and chapter titles will be lyrics from Hispanic Christmas Music. This one was obviously Feliz Navidad by José Feliciano

For Itachi, The day after Halloween was the worst. Usually, people would come to him at the police station and ask him to investigate children who toilet-papered their homes, stole their lanterns, stuff like that. Normally, Itachi wouldn't even humor it. Usually he would delegate it to someone lower than him, but he thought he would help with someone thinking that a kid stole their cat. Unfortunately for the cat, it was found within a couple of hours.

With all the other things he had agreed to do today, all he wanted to do was go home and relax. Maybe read a book. He didn't expect Sakura to be home tonight because of her duties at the hospital, so he felt he had all the time in the world to relax before tomorrow.

He was at the door of their shared home when he heard Christmas music on the other side of the door. It made him freeze up, thinking someone had broken in. He used his charka to sense what was going on when he realized Sakura was indeed home. The Uchiha sighed and walked into the home to see that it was indeed bitten by the Holiday spirit.

Itachi looked around. Their tiny fireplace was lit and there were stockings hanging over it with both his and Sakura's name on it. There was a red rug in front of the couch with furry, white trim. He did smell something a little weird, but he couldn't place what it was. He looked over to the bookcase in the corner of the living room to see where Sakura was, hanging up lights on a middle-sized pine tree.

Itachi himself hadn't celebrated Christmas until he was in a relationship with Sakura. Last year, though, they only exchanged gifts. He wasn't really into the whole festive thing but then he didn't know exactly what to do. He stared as Sakura finally noticed he was there. She turned around and smiled at him, obviously excited.

"I know you like Christmas, but isn't this a little too early?" He questioned, wondering what was going through her head at the moment. They still had weeks left before it was considered to be Christmas time. Sakura only smiled even brighter, walking over to Itachi to grab his hand and bring him towards the tree.

"Can you use your eyes and tell me which lights I need to fix?" She asked of him. Itachi didn't know if he could do that, but to try and help her, he asked her to plug the light string into the wall and she did. He used his sharingan to try and find all of the lights that needed to be replaced. He motioned for Sakura to hand her the bag of lights as he sat down on the floor with the string and began to replace the lights for her. He didn't know what to do but it seemed simple.

Sakura thanked Itachi, walking to the kitchen to pour them both a cup of spiked eggnog. She walked it back over with two mugs, making sure to place one beside Itachi as she sat herself down. He thanked her as he worked.

"I thought you were going to be at the hospital for the night? What happened?" Itachi queried, reaching for the mug without looking at it. He used his hand to pick it up as if he knew exactly where it was going to be. He sniffed it and took a sip before placing it down, going back to fix the lights. Sakura scoffed at his question.

"I was sent home," She said, rolling her eyes.
"Tsunade-sama is making me stay home for the rest of the week. Apparently I have worked too much and she didn't want me there."

Itachi knew this had happened a time before. It was because a patient had died on Sakura and she took it too hard. He softened and wanted to help her even more. He figured this Christmas stuff was a distraction and he wanted to help. Though Itachi didn't question what happened. He knew that poking right now when it's so fresh would only upset her even more.

"What drink did you make me? It isn't overly sweet, but it has… whiskey in it?"

"Eggnog. I don't know what it's made out of but I know there's egg in it. I thought since you liked cooking eggs so much that I would try this." She joked, sipping at her own.

'It is good." He stated simply, going to the next sting of lights.

"You're not into this, are you?" Sakura asked, feeling a little bad.
"I know your family doesn't celebrate Christmast… but this makes me feel better."

Itachi was still working before he shook his head no.
"I am okay with this. This is something that you would like to do, so I would like to learn." Itachi said, quickly fixing the light he saw that was out.

"Well, thank you. I had a really bad day at work and this has always made me feel better." She thanked him, taking another sip at her eggnog.

Itachi answered with a 'hn' and they went silent for a little bit, finishing the last string of lights. He turned his sharingan off and blinked a couple of times.

"Did you get Sasuke to do this before?"

"Only a couple of times. It's just so much easier and faster. He was able to do it with just feeling for the electric current though. He didn't have to use his Sharingan last time." She stated simply. Itachi nodded and began to rub at his temple. Sakura noticed, getting on her knees to move to Itachi's side.

"Let me," She told him, putting her fingers at his temples. She began to shoot soothing chakra through his eyes. He had done it for her before, so he trusted her. After a minute or two, she pulled her hands away, leaning in to kiss Itachi's cheek.

He simply smiled before getting up. He at least knew that the lights went onto the tree. He wrapped the tree with the strings as Sakura moved to get the star out of the box that was behind her. She hooked the star up to the wall and placed it on top of the tree. Itachi wasn't used to the flashing lights in the room, but eventually he would.

Sakura walked away to turn the ceiling lights off, letting the soft glow of the tree and the fireplace to light up the room. She placed herself beside Itachi, wrapping her arms around Itachi's waist to pull herself closer. She sighed lightly, but was overall happy.

Itachi let her place her head on his shoulder.

"You're really good at this." Sakura chuckled, staring at the tree.

"Thank you," Itachi said softly, finding his mug of eggnog to sip at again.

"This is pretty strong, though. Are you sure you don't want to talk about what happened?"

Sakura sighed sadly, shaking her head no.
"Not yet. But when I do want to talk about it, I will bring it up okay?"

Itachi nodded his head.
"Okay,"

"I love you," She said, kissing his cheek once again.

"I love you, too," He repeated, feeling a little bit better. Maybe there was something to this Christmas thing yet.
