Sorry it's taken a while for me to update this, but here's the update! (yay!)
I'll be updating all of my stuff as soon as I can, so please be patient with me.

No beta, all mistakes are mine.

The title is from a Chilean Christmas Song Called "Doña María, Le Ruego" by Victor Jara. Like I said, the Chapters will have something to do with Spanish Christmas Music.

Itachi was sitting in his office for the time being. He couldn't help but stare at the snow that was falling. He saw some of the Uchiha children that normally hung outside of his office play in it. It was nice to see these kids be innocent in this time of peace. He wasn;t given the luxury when he was their age so it always made him feel better.

There was a knock at his door, which brought him out of his train of thought. He called for them to come in. Low and behold it was Sakura with a bento in her hand. She still had time off from work so she had all the time in the world at the moment.

Itachi thanked her when she placed the bento in his hand.

"What's the occasion?" Itachi asked. It wasn't normal that Sakura came to the Uchiha district, or even to his office.

"Nothing. I just got bored at home… Did I interrupt anything?"

Itachi shook his head.
"I was just thinking. It's a bit of a slow day here. But this works out. I was going to go to the cafe down the street for lunch."

Sakura smiled at that.
"Then I did a good job," She chuckled.

Itachi smiled before opening the bento and digging in.

"So what were you thinking about?" The medic asked, hoping it wasn't too traumatic.

Itachi sat and ate quietly for a few moments before swallowing the bit of rice.
"When I was that young," He said quietly. Sakura perked up. It wasn't often that Itachi talked about his childhood. She always assumed it was traumatic knowing that he was a child prodigy, joining ANBU at a younger age, even younger than her own sensei.

"...What about it?"

Itachi placed the bento on the desk., his gaze still looking out of the window.

"Honestly… I'm glad that these children are this innocent. When I was their age, I already knew what war looked like."

Sakura sat quietly, knowing that he was digging deep at the moment. The only thing she knew about his childhood was what he had said, or what Sasuke had told her when they first began seeing each other.

"Sasuke used to be that innocent. And It made me glad. There have been times during winter when he would ask me to have a snowball fight with him. Despite the fact I could dodge everything he threw at me, I always let him win." Itachi said softly.

"There was one time, I had to go on a mission and it was snowing. He would wait on the porch in the cold for me to come back. Mother tried talking him into coming inside, but he refused."

Sakura smiled lightly. The medic thought that he was going to say something traumatic, but what he said was really sweet.

"I remember, once when he was in the academy, your class had decided to try the whole christmas thing and you guys made little trinkets to hang up on a tree. Of course, we didn't celebrate Christmas, but what he made, he gave to me… and a group of girls gave him their trinkets. Mother hung it up anyway, telling Sasuke it was only nice because he might marry one of those girls one day."

Sakura chuckled at the small story.
"I guess mother's can be wrong every once in a while." She commented, knowing that Sasuke decided to go on that trip to repent for what he'd done before the war.

"Actually, I think his favorite was the one you gave him," Itachi went on. That tidbit made Sakura blush.

"I did–"

"It's okay, you were children. I even had a crush when I was younger. It happens."

That was something Sakura hadn't heard before. She smirked, knowing this was something she could use sometime in the future.

"...and you're not going to tell me who it is, are you?" The pinkette asked. Itachi chuckled before calming down.

"No. I know you won't obsess over it or anything so it's okay, but a man's got to have a secret to himself."

Sakura began to pout, looking away and through the window Itachi was to see the same children.

"I guess things are different now, huh?" She said, making Itachi nod his head.

"Yes, and it makes me feel better," The brunet said aloud.
"It means I completed a goal of mine and that it was successful."

"Goal?" Sakura asked, turning to look at Itachi as she spoke.

"It means it's a safe world for children to grow up in. They won't become fodder for the village. And the Uchiha children won't have to sacrifice themselves for their clan." Itachi explained quietly.

"There are some things about this clan I can't tell you yet, but when I do, you'll understand." Itachi finished before going back to eat his bento, thanking Sakura for it again.

She looked up at the time and sighed,
"Is there anything else you need? Because I promised Ino I would have lunch with her."

Itachi shook her head no, motioning for her to come closer. Sakura smiled and walked in front of him. Itachi stood and placed his finger under her chin to get her to look up at him. Itachi then leaned over to place a slow, needy kiss on her lips. Once he pulled away, he noticed the look on Sakura's face. She had a look of want in her eyes. He would have given her more if it wasn't for the fact they were in his office.

"I should be home in about four hours. Can you wait that long?" He asked. Sakura nodded her head silently.

"That was to thank you for the lunch. Maybe once I get home, I'll tell you more about my childhood." He said, making Sakura pout for the second time that hour.

"I'll hold you to it," She whispered before pulling away.

She then turned around and left the office, Itachi watching her as she walked out.
The Uchiha sat himself down smirking as he thought to himself.
Only four hours to go.
