Chapter 1: Lizard Warlock
—
When the game of Yggdrasil: Crashing Dawn first appeared, a lot of people were extremely excited due to the marketing campaign of complete player freedom that allows players of the game which made a lot of them work out what they were in the game ranging from powerful fighters to versatile magic casters.
However even Yggdrasil had its limits to what it could allow or bring forth which resulted in over a thousand players being permanently banned for sexually assaulting NPCs of the game.
Plus over the years they didn't have much versatility in magical branches other than the Arcane and Divine Fields with more divine jobs then arcane which resulted in the 6 year timeframe, to include a new set of arcane job classes, Sorcerer and Warlock both holding a lot of pros with additional cons to them.
The cons for the two magical classes is that they hold the same cons as other magic casting classes, but they hold a limited spell list which is about a hundred spells learned meaning those who plays the new Sorcerer or Warlock Branches are forced to learn one spell per level instead of the usual 2-3 spells per level, another con is that they could only learn 5 Super Tier Spells instead of the typical 30 that a normal magic caster could have though upside is, the traditional rules for super tier spells are waived for Warlocks and Sorcerers given the low amount, they could cast each super tier spell once per day instead.
Now the benefits obviously match the cons of the new arcane classes.
Warlocks despite having a low spell list obviously matches the cons with it's specializes pros, the warlocks possess an arcane variation of magic known as Invocations which allows warlocks to utilize spells without using mana, some allowing for consecutive uses or one per day, some allowing for enhancement of the players such as additional skills learned or languages gained to even enhancing the players combat abilities by providing proficiency in weapons and armor allowing them to waive the penalties for wielding armor and weapons.
Another pro that a warlock has is class granted items known as Pact Boons, these pact boons are a warlock exclusive item which is granted to them further they are in the warlock branch which they gain per 10 levels of warlock classes and subclasses, these pact boons grants powerful effects and benefits to the user and allows the user to gain access to gain pact boons exclusive invocations.
Now the sorcerer has a different approach to pros then the warlocks which the sorcerers whole motif is the manipulation of magic and mana itself, allowing Sorcerers to gain 10 Metamagic types at the start which is sorcerer exclusive meta magics, very different then the Metamagic that every other magic caster could possess, and with chosen job classes of the sorcerer branch, the user can gain more class exclusive Meta magics.
Another benefit is the user can utilize these Metamagic types without even casting any spells granting themselves the benefits of the meta Magic which is a powerful boon.
Last benefit is the user could possess additional non magical skills such as unarmed combat to weapons to even beast taming, the sorcerer is the epitome of pure versatility in skills and abilities.
Kazuto Kirigawa played the role of a Lizardfolk Warlock which was an effective while ineffective build as the role of a lizard folk mainly enhanced the play build of physical fighters and specific parts of druids but he's playing the act of a warlock.
Luckily Kazuto, player name Hydra, utilized his entire job class that granted him the complete control over fear which essentially Hydra has the ability to induce all kinds of fears ranging from death, to suffocation to even cannibalism though while the game doesn't have taste buds aka the sense of taste, eating bodies of humanoids granted hydra the ability of increased EXP Gain temporarily.
However due to Hydras ability to focus entirely on debilitating debuffs made him rather less capable as a physical fighter given warlocks is a primary spellcasting class but allows for some job classes to grant physical capabilities.
I'm terms of looks, Hydra takes the appearance of a green skinned lizard man slightly muscular but more lean while the head was that of a traditional Lizardfolk head with no discernible traits then a singular slash scar over over the snout like someone tried to cut off the snout of Hydra.
The outfit consisted of a singular yellow and black jumpsuit with a belt with several backs on it, this made him very visible in the swamp of Helheim specifically overlooking one particular evil tomb.
Luckily the scaled tail was obstructed especially since Hydra loves to wag his tail as a sort of an extension of himself, like controlling an extra body part.
Hydra was watching the entrance of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, home of the infamous heteromorphic guild Ainz Ooal Gown, formerly Nine's Own Goal.
The reason why he was there was because he was originally apart of Ainz Ooal Gown but an argument with Touch Me, one of the guilds founding members, and this led Hydra to leave the guild and start a new account in the game and this time deciding to play the role of a Warlock of Fear.
Back in the guild, Hydra operated mostly as a debuff distributor as a way to control the battlefield but now The green scaled player was a true Master of Fear.
However as the time waned, the server was shut down with the scaly lizard man still in the game.

'Ughhhhhh!' Hydra thought mentally as he was currently on the hard brick ground which he slowly gets up to look around, obviously his senses of smell and hearing were much stronger but based on where he was, it appeared he suddenly entered a fortress like city in the bum fuck of night.
Hydra looks down at his scaled hands and skin, admiring his body before looking down to find his tail was wagging much like he would as a sort of a roleplay aspect but he was now controlling the scaly tail as if it really was an extension of hydras will, now Hydra is patting himself down, taking in every bit of sensory stimulation of his new body, his clothing fabric was soft but sloppy much like real leather, and his skin was smooth and shiny like a snakes.
Hydra secretly hopes he doesn't shed his new skin like a snake but this is getting the new green scaled lizard man to think 'This is strange, my senses of hearing and smell is tripled much like an actual lizard folk would do…now where am I?' Hydra walked towards one side of the alleyway that he was currently in and started to expertly climb the wall like a real lizard until landing on the roof to find himself indeed in a fortress-like town and based on the position of the moon, it was midnight.
Hydra looked at the sky with a fascination look as this is the first time he ever saw the sky clearly without major signs of toxic pollution in the air that could easily kill someone with lung cancer 'This is incredible, I never saw the sky before other then nature documentaries in High School' Hydra then looks down and with his increased eyesight, he could easily see the foliage outside of the city walls that was clear and green, no sign of decay 'is that…vegetation? So this world…it's clean, pure, no sign of toxic decay' Hydra exclaimed in his mind as he never saw either as being a common working class of the Japanese workforce.

Hydra looks to the side to find a woman in a cloak staring at him with a very creepy look while Hydra raises a scaly brow at her "Well well well! Look at what we have here, never seen a lizardman before in these parts." She exclaimed with a sort of teasing tone which caused the green scaled warlock to have his scales shivered and not the good kind of shiver.
Hydra narrowed his slitted eyes at the woman as he looked down slightly into the peak of her cloak, he could see dozens of copper plates making up an armor chestplate designed for protection, however the copper plates were unique and dangerous sounding so he needed to play the role of a member of this world.
So Hydra swished his tail as he grinned with his lizard lips "Oh nothing to worry about little human, I was just taking a stroll, perhaps you can point-" he was saying until she was directly in front of him, the cloak was now on her back showcasing her rather flattering uniform comprised of entirely of copper and silver plates and now with a clearer look, he saw names yet he couldn't understand them as being a Master of Fear, he didn't have enough chances to learn new languages.
The woman attempted to stab him with a short blunt like weapon in the fashion of a sword yet the lizardman narrowed his eyes and quickly caught the blunt blade before she could pierce his left eye "Woooow! You are fast for someone so bulky" she exclaimed teasingly as she jumped back to gain some distance from the scaly warlock.
Hydra looks down at his hand in obvious thought 'How did I catch that?…I don't remember being this fast in the game, maybe some of my more physical warlock classes has affected my speed?' Hydra looks back at the woman who's smile seemed to grow before the green scaled player clenched his hand looking like he's ready for battle "Alright, time to test myself"
