A/n Thank you for tuning in to another story, I think I will make this a dive right in instead of a slow burn. Let me know what you think!

Callie walked into the hair salon exhausted from a long day in court. Callie was a type A lawyer. She defended People who could prove they were innocent before court started. She loves her job. But it was exhausting. Callie checked in with reception.

"Ah , we have you booked with our new stylist!" Exclaimed they young perky receptionist."

"Just as long as she does a fabulous job getting the most recent ex out of my hair, susize" Callie chuckled.

Callie had been getting her hair cut here at Fabuluz cutz for about 4 years now. She knew everyone. Well everyone but the new girl. Callie loved the female owned and ran business. She never picked just one of the ladies to do her hair; she came every two months.

Callie took up a chair in the lobby grabbing a trashy magazine, mindlessly flipping through it. She needed to get Stephanie out of her life and the perfect way was to take a few inches of her raven hair. She had the rest of the day off so she was thinking about getting it curled a bit too. It had been a rough break up. Lots of crying and tons of ice cream. Callie has sworn off relationships after this one that ended in being cheated on and left crying at a bar alone. Crying, More like sobbing.

"Callie torres!" chirped a bubbly blonde that callie had not looked up to see yet.

"Thats me!" Callie said, still not looking up but groaning at the chipper attitude of the voice. Callie was more subtle and calm.

Finally looking up she drew in a breath. The voice was stunning. Breath taking really. She had long blond hair that framed her face beautifully. Eyes, bright blue eyes popped and she had this big flashy smile.

Arizona, while mildly annoyed that this client ws taking her time getting up, thought she looked beautiful already. She had gorgeous hair. But she was thinking that this lady was entitled if she would take all this time and not even look up at her. Callie was just trying to finish her article about the effect global warming had on the polar bears.

Arizona turned around and walked towards her station in the back. Once Callie sat in the styling chair she questioned her on what she wanted.

"Oh just two inches off the bottom and a curl please." Arizona gaffed to herself maybe she does have some manners.

"That should be easy enough to do," Arizona deadpanned.

Callie noticed a tone difference in the blonde but couldn't tell what her issue was. So she thought she would try introducing herself to see if breaking the ice would bring back the bubbly demeanor she already missed.

"Hey I'm callie by the way."

"I know, I called your name like 5 minutes ago." Arixona retorted. "Arizona Robbins." She offered up.

"Nice to meet you, Arizona. That's a pretty name. I like it. '' Callie flirted a bit. Though having no idea if the stylist was even gay. But Callie could usually flirt the best of them into a smile.

"NIce to meet you." Arizona ignored the flirtation and got to work,

Callie took the time to admire her in the large mirror. She had on a red t-shirt and blue jeans. And black vans with a smock on. Callie thought damn she made that smock look good. She made the jeans look good and she made the t-shirt look good. What was Callie thinking she made everything look good.

They sat in silence while Arizona worked, She shampooed and conditioned her hair. Callie thought that her hands felt so nice and soft in her hair. Then she cut the two inches off. Just like Callie had asked and then blew dried it. Then gave it a nice curl.

Arizona couldn't help but admit that this olive skinned woman looked devine. But she was still peeved. Arizona could hold a grudge when she wanted to. And she wanted to. Her day had started off shitty. First her old ford explorer wouldn't start and she had to ride share to work which was hectic in the manhattan traffic. Making her 30 minutes late. Having to reschedule her first 8 am appointment. She was new it was only her second week and she wanted to make good impressions. But this morning was not a good morning. After that fiasco they did a coffee run. The coffee shop gave her dairy milk when she doesn't do dairy. So it was just a bad morning.

Callie thanked Arizona with a wide smile and a thank you and went to the receptionist to pay. Leaving Arizona a hefty tip and a note that said "Pretty girls should smile :)" And left to head home feeling like a million bucks. God knows she looked it in her Black button up blouse and skin tight blue jeans.

Back at the shop Suzie called Arizona over after Callie left.

"Look what Callie left you." Suzie gave Arizona the envelope with the tip and note.

Arizona Read the note silently and then pulled out $40 in cash. She was flabbergasted. She had no idea what to say. This was almost as much as the cut was. Noone had ever left her such a tip before. A smile crept up Arizona's face.

"Is Callie a frequent flyer here?" she asked going off the notion Suzie seemed to know her well.

"About every two months," She answered earnestly.

"I was kinda short and now i feel terrible. I think i got the wrong impression of Callie today. I thought she was rude and entitled because she took so long getting up when i called her she didn't even look up quickly" Arina said somberly.

"Oh that's not Callie at all. She is coarse sometimes but she's a sweet girl. Can flirt any girl out of her pants though."

Arizona's ears perked up at that last bit of information. But was she thinking She treated Callie terribly? She probably would find a new stylist now. Aruzona sulked to her station and finished her shitty day with a smile.

Callie Went home and for the first time in a week didn't feel like crying. She mentally slapped herself. This woman was clearly straight and had a grudge for no reason. And she had sworn of relationships so why even bother. But she couldn't stop thinking about the blonde's hands and her hair. Arizona. She liked the sound of that
