Prompt: James cried more than Lily at their wedding.
Underneath the summer sky on the grounds of Hogwarts, James Potter and Lily Evans stood hand in hand, surrounded by the vibrant hues of blooming flowers. Their friends and family gathered to witness the union that had been a long time coming.
"Do you, James Potter, take Lily Evans to be your lawfully wedded wife?" asked the officiant.
"I do," James replied with a broad grin, his hazel eyes shimmering with joy.
A ripple of laughter ran through the guests as James, infamous for his impish demeanor, found tears welling up in his eyes. Lily, dressed in a gown that glowed like moonlight, couldn't hold back a chuckle.
"Prongs crying more than Evans at their wedding?" Sirius whispered incredulously to Remus, who nodded in amusement.
Lily, looking radiant, teased James. "Breaking the 'James Potter doesn't cry' tradition, are we?"
Blushing, James responded, "Well, you see, I'm just so overjoyed that even my tear ducts are celebrating."
As the ceremony continued, Lily exchanged vows with James, and the officiant proclaimed, "I now pronounce you husband and wife."
Amidst the applause, James and Lily shared their first kiss as a married couple. James, wiping away a tear, muttered, "Who would've thought I'd be the one crying at my own wedding?"
Lily laughed softly. "Looks like you've stolen the show today."
The reception buzzed with joy and toasts. Sirius raised his glass and proclaimed, "To James, the emotional groom we never knew we had!"
Cheers erupted, and James blushed again, this time overwhelmed with happiness. As Lily leaned in, whispering, "I love you, emotional groom and all," James couldn't help but smile.
"I love you too, teary bride," he replied, sealing their love with a kiss.
