Before we start I will go ahead and clear some stuff up about what this story is

This book does not contain, ArtemisxHolly or ArtemisxJuliet. Although it dabbles quite a bit in Irish and greek mythology, these are the only two types of mythology it will mention and it is not a Pjo or Hoo crossover. Additionally, this starts in the first Artemis fowl book however in order to make it less creepy and unmature, Artemis is 14 almost 15 not 12. Thanks for reading

Most people describe themselves as average. Some people think they are unaverage, believing themselves to be superheroes or fairies and such. Those people are delusional. It would be in your best sense to not listen to them.

Bronwen was quite far from delusional, and quite far from average as well. There were very few people in the modern age that were both. And there was only one, like Bronwen.

this is a line break

Quite honestly? My current life is shit. No significant other, Average grades, Rude parents, Annoying cousin- you get the gist. Now of course my life could be better, I was an almost-god. But i'm a lazy person. My only care is of my sports.

Alone in our suprisingly large brighton house, I flick on the television. I was greeted with a large newscast brightly displaying that Artemis Fowl I was still missing and would go on to be presumed dead. I watch for a few minutes, get bored and decide to pause time and go visit somewhere random.

As I mentioned before, I am an Almost-god. If you are more of a scientific person, the technical term is ελάττωμα, the flaws of the gods. You see every god is perfect on the outside. the inside not so much, but that's not the point. All those flaws had to go somewhere, and where better than Mortals? The god's flaws have been so big and so far that all of the mortals that were unfortunate enough to be born at the same time as a god was created died immediately. There has been one singular exception from this, and seeing as I am not writing this from Hades I would hope you could deduce it was that of myself.

Being an ελάττωμα has a few perks. Things such as being able to stop time, which is both a curse and a gift seeing as to how I accidentally stopped time for 120 years once. I also had been lucky enough to be the ελάττωμα of the only god who would probably give a shit. Moiara. Moira Darling, Ippotis, God to conquer gods, angel of death, etc. They found me after I accidentally stopped time on my 11th birthday and fallen asleep. Terrible idea to ever do that. Falling asleep while in a time stop can effectively kill you. I woke up and it was still November 29th but 120 years had passed in the time stop.

Moira explained this to me- and you needn't worry about her telling an 11 year old information that was much bigger than her, I was already quite intelligent at that age and had seen and experienced much more than any child should ever have to. I was a frail thing at the time, and moira told me in a year or so she would come back and teach me the ways of the gods and how to fight.

You see another strange thing about me, I wasn't born in the universe Moira had been created in. I speculate this is the reason I am living currently but I have no evidence.

Moira true to her promise came back a year later and we spent 25 or so years on and off in a time stop teaching me to fight. I am nowhere near the level they are, but she has helped me greatly enough I can hold my own against them for a record of 93 seconds.

In congratulations for being able to do this, she told me training was complete (thank the gods) and an indestructible Axe. Of course, I can't carry an axe everywhere so I simply dematerialized it. Materializing is the act of moving atoms to your will. Its a very helpful thing I find. You imagine the atoms of your chosen item moving apart from each other and sticking to you. To fix it you do the opposite.

The news podcasters voice stopped and so did time. I stood up from my unruly position on the couch and grabbed my phone. It was of no use currently except for games that run off internet and such.

Shoved into my pocket I clipped my airpods on the belt hook and brushed out my hair. Dismaterializing had become much easier as of late, and although it felt like you had been put on a roller coaster going too fast for your own safety it was fun regardless. I really didn't have a clue where I wanted to go so I decided to go wherever there was something interesting going on.

Normally if one is capable enough of these talents you would have to have a specific spot in mind, but Moira was friends with the shadows, and she once told me they said "If you are a friend of hers you are a friend of ours" Odd. I let them take me where something cool was going on, maybe a battle of some sort if I was lucky.

I was extremely lucky. Landing on some sort of banister in a room I saw a few things. A bleeding man, a drugged girl, a sprite with heavy armoury and a large troll.

"I don't suppose they would mind if I helped them out would they?" I could deal with the bleeding guy later. I summoned my axe, Jumped from the (way too high) banister and cut the trolls head off.

I stood up from my dive roll to notice a new person- a boy, standing at the top of the stairs. I brushed my hands off and sent my axe away

"Well. That's certainly an entrance I've made" I said, smirking.

-Artemis-

Today was just not Artemis' day. He was fooled, had a copy of the book stolen, gotten hit in the face by a fairy, had his front door disintegrated and had spent much too time wondering about why in the world he had said that about Lollipops.

To top it all off there was a troll in his front entrance room that had just been decapitated by a girl no older than he wearing cargo pants. She had an axe but Artemis watched as it disappeared as she stood up, brushing off her hands on her pants.

"Well. That's certainly an entrance I've made" She said. Smirking. Who on this green earth smirks like that after decapitating a troll in someone else's home?

Artemis had nowhere enough time to process this fact as the stranger turned their attention to the bleedy figure of-

"Butler?" Artemis' voice was laced with shock but was quickly covered up again by that all-knowing mask of his.

"You know this guy?" The girl asked, now kneeling next to him.

"Good. Help me prop him up." I didn't move an inch. I was unsure why as I am quite sure the life of my only friend was more important the commands of a stupid girl who had broken into my home.

When I didn't move, she spared me a glance and sighed despairingly.

"Alright then guess I'm doing this the hard way." She said her tone laced with annoyance. She grabbed 2 vials of some gold liquid out of nowhere and uncorked them with her teeth before pouring one down Butler's throat.

This action spurred me into motion as I lurched forward asking the unruly questions of

"What do you think you're doing?" The girl replied almost instantly.

"Saving his life. Don't you have two other friends that could use your help over there?" She said nodding at the unconscious figures of Captain Short and Juliet. She took a breath and continued talking.

"The sprite or whatever it is will be fine, it's healing itself. The girl however may not be. Bring her here, I should check for injuries." She said. I ran over to get Juliet, because I do truly fear what would happen to me if butler found out I had let his sister be when she could get help. Not that I think this person could actually help them. Maybe.

I walked back over carrying juliet's limp body, and perhaps I should work on my strength. carrying a girl of her size should be easy yet it felt as though I were carrying cinder blocks.

I began setting her down when Butler woke with a start. Panting heavily and taking sharp breaths it seemed as though he was in a lot of pain. The shock of the situation had finally begun wearing off on me and I truly took in the details of the situation. Butler was lying on the floor, gaping hole in his chest, juliet and the strange girl next to him. The fairy was unconcious in a corner blue light covering her body, and it seemed she had woken up and was staring at us.

The front door was no more, and much of the entrance hall was no more than rubble. Turning my attention back to butler, I tuned into the conversation, or rather the words the girl was saying to him, and the short nods he gave in return.

"-I'm going to need you to keep your eyes open for a few minutes ok? I revived you for a short period of time but I'm going to having to pour the rest of this on your wounds. It may hurt a bit but it will be brief." She said and began pouring the other bottle of gold stuff on his wounds.

There was a sharp intake of breath from butler, as the what I presume was cold liquid hit the hole in his chest. I watched as the gold liquid slowly was absorbed into the blood and injuries and watched as it slowly fixed his injuries and regrowing his skin.

Within minutes it was over and butler was able to stand again. He turned to me and began speaking

"Master Artemis, I apologize. I left your side to retrieve Juliet and harm befell you and myself, prohibiting me from protecting you." He said and I replied instantaneously.

"Worry not butler, no harm befell me and you are safe now with juliet. Granted you are now missing part of a suit you seem to be fine and all is mostly well." This was followed with a quizzical look from butler and a scoff from the girl who was now checking juliet.

"No harm befell me says the boy who has a broken nose and a rather large gash on his cheek." She said and stood up

"What?" I said, reaching up to touch my face only to have my hand smacked away

"Do not touch your face unless you wish to make it worse." She said leaning in rather too close for two strangers.

She must have noticed the closeness and pulled away, her face devoid of any emotion. yet.. were her eartips red?

My attention was pulled away by her grabbing some sort of antiseptic and cotton tissues.

"This will hurt." She said, and I had no chance to react as she grabbed my nose and promptly brought it back into place

"Ow!" She grabbed the tissues and help them to my bleeding nose and dabbed the antiseptic to my face.

"You'll heal fine, just hold it like that for a second." She then turned her attention to butler.

"Your sister is fine, slightly unlucid, but you and her will both be fine." She then turned on me and said

"Now who in the world are you people?"
