Yay, chapter six! This is an achievement with my attention span.

Eyes are 'optic's for cybertronians.

Hands are 'servo's for cybertronians.

Storytime!

I sighed for the seventh time- yes I'd been counting- as I sat in a decepticon holding cell.

How did this happen, you ask? Well, get the popcorn and I'll explain why I'm sitting here instead of being at home, curled up on the couch.

Scrap, Decepticons. Where was my wrench-throwing, overprotective older sister Amelia when you truly needed her for something other than health or getting the twins to do something?

"Why hello there, fleshy human." The red-opticed decepticon said evily.

Nowhere apparently.

I was thinking too many responses and reactions to count, so many infact, that I'd begun to mush the sentences together. I couldn't help it, I just had to say a few, so I sassed the 'con, "Well last time I checked, I wasn't expecting visitors, much less a 'Barricade' to stop me from eating. If that was truly your mission, congrats, you passed. Full marks too. Now leave me alone, I wish to eat in peace."

Barricade's red eyes glowed fiercely in anger. The decepticon tried to grab me but I slipped away. He then tried to shoot me, blasting a hole thru the kitchen wall. Barricade wasn't happy with my little less-than-friendly speech as you could probably tell.

I dashed upstairs, almost tripping and falling going up the stairs and when I tried to make a sharper-than-normal turn into my room. Phone. Was what my mind was set on getting from my room. I did a quick search and discovered that my phone wasn't in the usual spot it was in, which was on a cat-shaped phone stand.

Amelia must have took it. I reasoned, Amelia had said that screens were a no-no earlier.

The decepticon outside smashed the wall over my bed, knocking rubble onto me. I was smacked in the head with a good sized chunk of drywall, throwing my head in for a loop from the pain and making me wish that this was all a bad dream- albeit a very vivid bad dream.

I stumbled to the doorway, sluggishly trying to dodge hunks of wall and slivers of glass that were raining down on the room like very deadly pieces of hail- courtesy of Barricade smashing the only wall with a window.

I was almost at the exit when I heard something loudly playing Transformers Animated's theme song off to my right,

-MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE! TRANSFORMERS... ROBOTS IN DISGUISE! AUTOBOTS WAGE THEIR BATTLES TO DESTROY-

My phone! Amelia must've hidden it in my room instead of hers, believing that I'd think it would be in her room where she always put it. Clever Amy, she knew if she needed to make a phone call to me, my phone wouldn't be accessible in her room, so she hid it in mine instead.

I turned around and followed the music, staying as quiet as I could without passing out to make it seem like I was unconscious. I successfully got to where the music was the loudest and began to dig around in the rubble for the phone, creating quite alot of dust. I coughed several times.

Drat.

"Come here Haru Sage, I won't hurt you." Barricade said, realizing that I was awake still and that he was probably going to kill me with destroying the walls around me.

"That's one of the oldest tricks in the book!" I shouted, my voice slightly muffled because of the debris around me.

I felt something smooth and cool touch my hand, hearing the music- FORCES OF THE DECEPTICONS!- still blaring at max volume. I uncovered the object, and, surprise surprise, it was my phone.

I looked at the caller's name, slightly dizzy from the earlier hit on my skull. Amelia was calling me, no doubt wanting to know what I'd been doing this past hour.

I tapped the 'Answer call' button, held it slightly away from my ear and-

"HARU LINDA SAGE, WHY WERE YOU NOT ANSWERING MY-"

I winced, I was quite sure my ears had just been broken with the way Amelia was cut off. The next few seconds told me I was wrong.

"Hey Haru." A man's voice said casually. I swore I heard Melody's voice excitedly saying 'Let me talk to Lin Lin, Cadence!' in the background.

"Hey guys. Look, I can't talk now, decepticon troubles, but maybe later?" And then I hung up on them. Later... if there is a 'later' for me. I thought grimly.

I heard shuffling around me, then I felt the bits and pieces that were once a wall being flung away from where I took cover. Scrap, I thought. If the decepticon Barricade kept shoveling debris off of me at the speed he was going, I'd be uncovered in less than a minute- give or take.

I tried not to panic, opting instead to examine my surroundings. The decepticon didn't leave me with many options, and by that I meant he left me three.

One, I stay put and be dragged out of where I was.

Two, I move to a new spot.

Three, I attempt to befriend the decepticon that is tearing away the house bit by bit.

I mused over my terrible selection of options. Three was highly un-likely and it could be seen as 'Haru is part of the decepticon ranks', which I don't want to happen. Two would be what I'd do if I wasn't facing a 50 foot tall robot alien. One was a big fat nono, I just wasn't going to be brought to Megatron willingly.

I mentally looked at my options again. I could see the decepticon clearly now, and if I could see them, they could grab me.

One, I stay put and be dragged out of where I was.

Two, I move to a new spot.

Three, I attempt to befriend the decepticon that is tearing away the house bit by bit.

Two was the only thing that I could do that wouldn't end in disaster or sound crazy, so that was what I did- er, well, tried.

Present.

And that's what happened. Needless to say, I got caught and was tossed in here.

"Hey, when are ya'll going to take me to your leader, or do I have to escape for that to happen?" I shouted up to one of the guards. He growled at me and I decided it wasn't good to aggravate them.

I looked around the enormous- well, huge for me- cell that I'd been put in. The bars were spaced out far enough that I'd be able to slip thru them with only a bit of difficulty.

I'll admit, I was extremely upset- I definitely didn't cry- when I realized that since my whole room was destroyed, that meant my entire collection of Jazz action figures were as well.

"What did I do for Primus to hate me this much?" I muttered under my breath.

I heard thudding behind a door I'd been eyeing for awhile, an alarm going off shortly after. The guards got into a fighting stance, weapons at the ready. I thought it was a good opportunity to sneak away, so I slipped thru the bars and made a mad dash for a vent in the corner of the room.

One of the guards might have seen me worm my way thru the bars of my 'secure cell' because he turned to face me, speaking in cybertronian to the guard beside them, and began to walk towards me with the worst subtlety I'd ever seen. He was walking in my direction clearly, looking around with very noticeable fake curiosity, while glancing at me alot.

I didn't take chances- I never do-, so I ran the rest of the way to the vent. The guard realized his terrible acting- heck, it wasn't even acting- and ran towards me fast, the ground shook with every foot stomp on the floor.

Right before the guard could get to me, I reached the vent and, without stopping to think about what I was about to do, jumped in. The guard caught my foot- or more specifically, my shoe- at the last moment. I began to wiggle my foot out of the shoe as fast as I could before the guard yanked me out of the vent.

I couldn't get my right foot out of my black-and-blue sneakers fast enough before the first tug. The decepticon seemed unsure on how much force he needed to use, so it only made me cling to dear freedom on the outer rim of the vent.

I managed to get my foot partly out of the shoe, but it was still stuck inside it. I needed something to tug it off before the next-

"Ahhhh!" I screamed as I was lifted into the air. I wiggled my foot furiously, hoping that Primus would take pity on me and allow me to escape

Primus, please, grant me freedom. I prayed. By some miracle, my leg hadn't been snapped out of place yet, despite the fact that I was being held upside-down by my shoe.

The cybertronian god might have heard my internal pleas of help, because right before the decepticon guard could get me on his servo, my foot got free.

I fell, screaming all the way, into the vent. I closed my eyes, waiting for me to go 'splat' from the impact.

I opened my eyes at the last moment and landed in-

"Aachoo!"

-Dust.

Alot of dust.

Here's to a good new year.

Can I just act like Frenzy has already become Mikaela's phone?

Bye!
