Hello, bots and cons. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Transformers (2007): Rewritten. In the last chapter, the big battle in Las Vegas took place with some massive differences. The biggest ones are that the Allspark wasn't destroyed nor was Megatron killed. I kept Megatron alive as I felt that killing him off cheapened his impact as the master of the Decepticons.

Some things were kept the same though, such as Blackout's death scene, Jazz's death (Sorry, Jazz fans), and the failure to handoff the Allspark to the military.

*Las Vegas. Allspark Convoy. 13:12 pm*

A couple hours after the Decepticons were driven off and the Transformers were fully exposed to the public after the big battle, the Autobots and the Allspark convoy began scouring the city for any more Allspark Mutations that were still wandering around, though Ratchet was working on reattaching Bumblebee's legs with Longarm actually watching inquisitively.

The others were searching the battle-torn city of Las Vegas for remaining mutations. Ironhide was walking down the street with Lennox, Epps, and Donnelly. Lennox looked to his left and saw the Xbox 360 mutation skittering around. "Whoa! Hostile at nine o'clock!" Lennox suddenly shouted. The three humans immediately opened fire which resulted in the small Allspark Mutation scurrying to and hopping inside a torn-up Nissan Vanette to evade the weapons fire, but that wasn't enough to save it from a shot from Ironhide's cannon. Lennox looked up to the Autobot weapons specialist. "Showing off a bit, aren't you?"

"I'm just showing you humans what real firepower is as all." Ironhide grinned.

"More like you're showing off again." Chromia teased as she walked up to the small group.

"Just don't burn our faces off next time, got it?" Lennox smirked at Ironhide.

Ironhide reached into the destroyed vehicle and picked up the downed Allspark Mutation. "Target neutralized."

"Alright. That makes four so far." Epps commented. "There should be one more around this area."

Said last Allspark Mutation in the specific area was nearing where Ratchet was still reattaching Bumblebee's legs with Spike and Sparkplug watching the procedure. "You did great, Spike." Bumblebee complimented, still happy that he was able to actually talk again.

"Thanks, Bee. I was just doing what's right." Spike smiled at his Cybertronian friend when he was suddenly hit in the back of his neck with a 7up can. "Oww!" He exclaimed. The two humans turned around and saw the 7up Vending Machine Mutation glaring at them and began advancing towards the small group. "Oh, come on!"

Their panic was quickly abated however when Ratchet just stepped on it, splattering the clear, sparkling liquid all over the place and killing the Allspark Mutation instantly. Lifting up his foot, Ratchet didn't waste any time analyzing the soda. "This substance is loaded with stimulants and ingredients that are harmful to your human structures. Absorption could lead to decay of necessary formations in your oral cavities as well as increased weight gain."

"Uh… Thanks, Ratchet. We'll be careful." Sparkplug chuckled.

Ratchet then went back to repairing Bumblebee's legs which didn't take long. "Alright, Bumblebee. You're finished."

"Thanks, Ratchet." Bumblebee thanked.

Ratchet then contacted Optimus Prime with a hologram of Prime's head popping up on his left arm."Optimus, I've restored Bumblebee's locomotion and I've eliminated another Allspark Mutation as well."

"Good work, Ratchet, but we have to get going. We've cleared this area of the city of Allspark Mutations, but the humans will be arriving soon to try and take the Decepticon bodies. We shouldn't be here when they arrive. Ironhide and I will secure Jazz's and Prowl's remains for transport and meet you outside the city." Optimus instructed before leaning down to talk to Lennox. "Captain Lennox, we will need your help. Humans of Sector 7 will be arriving soon and they are not trustworthy.

"Of course we'll help you." Lennox smiled before turning to his men and the other humans of the convoy. "All right, people, it's time to move. Anyone who doesn't want to be part of this thing can leave now." All the humans stepped forward with conviction. Even the Sector 7 humans that were part of the convoy joined in. "Okay, let's move."

Epps and the others opened a trailer that looked good enough to transport the remains of the two fallen Autobots. "Hey, Ironhide! How's this?!" He called out.

Ironhide leaned down and scanned the trailer. "This'll do great. Thanks." The humans present lowered their heads in utter respect as Ironhide placed Jazz's remains in the trailer first before lifting Prowl's chestplate and putting it in the trailer. Civilians also had their heads lowered in respect.

"Okay, Optimus. You're set. You and the Autobots take care. Don't forget to contact us when you're out of Las Vegas. We'll try to keep Sector 7 off your asses for a while." Lennox promised.

Optimus transformed to his truck mode and attached to the trailer as Ironhide also transformed to vehicle mode. Epps walked up to Prime's left window. "Hey, when did you get a driver?"

"This is what your species call a hologram. I believed an additional part of disguise is needed in order despite us being exposed. What do you think?" Optimus asked. His hologram was a human trucker wearing a red, short-sleeve shirt with a blue undershirt, blue eyes, short black hair, a short mustache, and a cowboy hat.

"Perfect." Epps gave Prime a thumbs-up.

"Autobots, transform and roll out!" Optimus commanded as the remaining Autobots moved out, Spike and Sparkplug in tow inside Bumblebee. Spike was given a spare phone from Lennox and told him to contact them once they were out.

Just as Lennox and the other humans were about to leave the city, they were face-to-face with Sector 7 Agent Seymour Simmons once again who had a smirk on his face. "Ah, Captain Lennox. Long time, no talk. Still going to point a gun at me again?"

"My memory still works despite it being short-term." Lennox frowned, not wanting to see Simmons again. "You want to find out?"

Simmons paid it no mind as he continued speaking to the captain. "Where's the boy and father? I need to talk with them. In fact, I need to talk with you as well."

"I have no idea where they are." Lennox lied, not at all bothered that he was considering it was Simmons he was talking to right now. "One minute, we were fighting aliens, the next, we were fighting a lot more."

"Do you honestly expect me to believe that, captain?" Simmons smirked, seeing right through Lennox's words.

"You should've seen it, man! There was a soda machine, and a gaming system, and…" Epps was starting to ramble when Lennox covered his mouth."

"He gets the picture, Epps." Lennox deadpanned. "Simmons, I don't know where they went, we what we can help you with is load these things and tell you what we do now."

"I think we've got it under control, captain." Simmons snidely remarked as a car carrier was loading the still functional Sector 7 vehicles. "You and the mouth need to come with me." He then gestured to a familiar GMC Yukon parked behind the trio.

Once they entered the back of the vehicle, Simmons took off his glasses and dropped his smirk. He immediately got back to talking to the two soldiers. "Look, I'll just cut to the chase. I want you both and I mean for Sector 7. You two know what we're dealing with and know how to stop them. I believe we can really benefit from your knowledge."

"I appreciate the offer, Simmons, but I don't think so. You see, I've got a daughter I haven't even held yet and a wife that's been through hell thinking I was dead. I just want to go home." Lennox explained.

"You don't really have a choice, Captain." Simmons said, smirking.

*Nevada Desert. Agent Simmons. 7:23 am*

It was a new morning in the Nevada Desert and Simmons was talking with a Sector 7 scientist about the Decepticon remains. "Well, Doc, it's settled. We're dumping them into the drink, so you have one month to study those carcasses. Time to see if Sleeping Beauty downstairs can tell us anything new."

"Wreckage hasn't been active since Salazar shut him down a few weeks ago. I don't even know if he's still alive. We haven't even recorded a single energy trace." The scientist answered truthfully. "Now that Salazar is gone, I'm very worried that we'll be completely in the dark."

"Well, if he doesn't wake up, I know some people who can make him." Simmons held his phone in his hand with Lennox's number.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Transformers (2007): Rewritten. This chapter was something of a decompressor after the big battle of Las Vegas. The Autobots along with the three new additions of Landmine, Salvage, and Longarm managed to escape the city with the Allspark and the remains of Jazz and Prowl before Sector 7 arrived on the scene.

For those who haven't read the Bayverse comics from IDW, I'm adapting the tie-in comic Transformers: Alliance. Wreckage has been name-dropped, so you can bet we'll see him very soon.

I'm not taking suggestions for this story, but if you have ideas for others, please let me know in the comments/reviews, or personally PM me.

On the other hand, if you want to talk more directly, please leave me your Discord.
