Part 3

It was quite impressive, truly, how a demon the size of Jirobo managed to wriggle his way into one of the small crevices of Kakuzu's cave. Clearly fear was a great motivator.

Sasuke watched idly how Jirobo slowly became aware of his looming presence. The demon had his back to him, which proved just how stupid he truly was; anyone could simply launch an attack upon finding him and he wouldn't be able to react on time. First there was the subtle stiffening of his spine as Jirobo started to realise that somebody was standing right behind him. His shoulders hunched up and the muscles in his arms bulged before he suddenly twisted around and flung himself forwards.

Only to abruptly drop his attack once he saw who had found him. The second his eyes landed on Sasuke, he visibly paled and he threw himself down to the ground, prostrating himself far too late.

"M-my lord!" he brought out in a stutter.

Sasuke tsk'd. "Interesting how you refer to me like that, when you were more than willing to take what is mine," he said coolly.

"I never meant to, my lord! That foul demoness tricked me!" Jirobo stated quickly, eager to put the blame on someone else. Not surprising.

"She tricked you," Sasuke repeated flatly.

Jirobo must not have registered his disinterested tone, because he hurried to sit up straight; his eyes shining with determination. "Yes, she did, my lord! She made me believe that you had changed your mind and offered this human's soul for those interested!" he claimed, pressing his balled fists onto his smudged thighs. He had clearly been mostly hiding in caves and other small crevices because there was not a single spot on his body that was still clean.

"After hiding from me for so long, you dare to lie as well?" Sasuke said unimpressed. "You are not making this easier on yourself, Jirobo."

"My lord, I'm not lying, I swear!" he said panicking; sweat drops slowly dripping down his face.

"There are several things wrong with what you just said," Sasuke began while above them dark clouds gathered; a rumbling in the distance heralding the arrival of a fierce storm. "First of, should I have indeed tired of him, why would I use someone else to announce that news? If you truly believed that nonsense, why try to offer that contract in such an underhanded manner?"

The rumbling neared them and Jirobo's nervous gaze kept flickering between Sasuke and the darkening sky.

"After all, there would be no need for such tricks if I was the one offering his soul, no?" Sasuke continued idly, enjoying the way Jirobo started to tremble. "If you truly were tricked, why did you spend so much time hiding from me? Worse, you made me track you down for far too long."

"M-my L-lord, I - "

"If you didn't hide away like the cowardly rat you are for so long, I would have already had the Bonding Ritual with my queen. I suppose I could have held the ritual in the meantime," he mused aloud as lightening struck close by, shattering a rock and making Jirobo flinch. "What kind of husband would I be, however, if I Bonded with my Intended when scum like you were still roaming around? That would simply not do."

"My Lord!" Jirobo threw himself down to the ground again, the fat of his stomach jiggling with the movement as he spread out his arms in front of him as far as he could stretch them. "I never meant to bring any harm to your Intended!"

"Interesting, that is not how your contract came across," Sasuke smiled coldly.

It had taken a while, but it appeared to finally register in Jirobo's mind that Sasuke wouldn't believe any of his lies nor would be willing to let him go. Well, nobody had ever claimed Jirobo was highly intelligent. If he had been, he wouldn't have been in this position to start with.

"Please, my Lord, spare me!" he began blubbering; tears and snot mixing to pool onto the dusty ground. "I swear I will stay away from you and your Intended! You will never see me again!"

"You're right about that at least," Sasuke said darkly amused. "You will be staying away from him for good."

"I beg of you, my Lord, please don't kill me!" Jirobo was truly working himself up in a deep panic by now; his whole body quivering and trembling, sweat dripping onto the ground like they were rain drops.

A second lightening strike set a nearby bush on fire, making Jirobo nearly shrivel up entirely in fear.

"I'm not going to kill you," Sasuke said and before Jirobo could relax, he continued cruelly, "How could I make an example out of you if I were to kill you now? I think it is time you lot remember your place again."

"NO, MY LORD, PLEASE!" The remainder of Jirobo's terrified scream became swallowed up by the storm; the clouds finally unleashing everything they had.

Both Sasuke and Jirobo were gone by the time two lightening bolts cleaved the earth in two.

The sight of their lord dragging a crying demon to the middle of the square was always bound to attract attention. The ones living in Sasuke's territory knew that as long as they behaved, they had nothing to fear from the powerful demon lord. Demons were still demons, however, so the sight of one of their own quivering and pleading for mercy had them drawing near, eager to find out what the poor schmuck had done to attract the lord's ire.

Sasuke threw Jirobo down onto the ground before conjuring up his black flames which eagerly attached themselves to Jirobo's wrists and ankles, ensuring he couldn't try to make a run for it. At the moment the fire was still harmless, but nevertheless the sight of the black flames had Jirobo whimpering pathetically and he made an aborted attempt at breaking free. The very second he tried to draw his legs underneath him, the flames tightened in warning, turning his skin a deep red.

"It has come to my attention," Sasuke began, gaining everyone's attention, "that I might have been too lenient with you lot. Consider this coward's fate a warning for you all: you try to touch what is mine and you will live to regret it."

He turned to address Jirobo, whose eyes were wild and terrified. Good. "You should feel honoured to serve as an example," he said mockingly before he glanced around. "Does anyone of you possess a dull knife?"

"I do, my Lord!" A demoness stepped forwards. Her entire lower body was covered in deep purple scales and her long, dark green hair served as a way to protect her modesty. She unearthed a serrated knife from the satchel resting against her hip. It simply had some leather straps wrapped around one end to serve as a handle and she handed it to him with a small bow.

He accepted the knife with a nod and turned back to Jirobo, whose eyes widened even further when the blade came closer to his face.

"You neglected to heed my first warning, so I assume you do not need your ears after all," Sasuke smiled darkly and snatched Jirobo's left ear, brutally cutting through it from the top.

A sharp knife would have made cutting off both ears a lot easier and quicker, but Sasuke wanted Jirobo to suffer for as long as possible. Let him feel every saw of the blade, every sliver of his ears slowly being cut off. Let him experience even a smidgen of the terror and agony he had been about to put Naruto through if Naruto had signed the contract.

To Jirobo's credit, while he did cry as his ears were slowly being sawed off, he didn't start screaming or yelling – not until Sasuke started cutting through his left leg next. The thick skin jiggled as Sasuke used the dull knife to cut through the flesh, exerting more force so that the blade wouldn't become stuck in muscle. He cut all the way through to the bone, removing the blade for just a moment before he started cutting underneath the thigh, working his way to the bone from that side. Thick, light yellow blood started to dribble from the cuts, pooling underneath the leg.

Once he had cut through the entirety of the thigh, the limb remained only attached to the body by the bone itself. When Sasuke started cutting more muscle tissue away so that the thigh bone would become completely bared, Jirobo started screaming, trying to kick him away with his other leg. That did nothing save for the black flames slowly starting to burn through his wrists and ankles by now, only adding further to his misery.

Sasuke pinned him with an ice cold look, which quietened down Jirobo – until Sasuke grabbed his leg and started twisting it around, the splintering of bone loud in the otherwise silent square. Jirobo's screaming reached a new high pitch as Sasuke forcefully ripped off his leg; his yellow blood dripping over the shredded remains of his thigh bone. Not giving Jirobo even a second to catch his breath, Sasuke threw away the leg and started cutting the other one as well, taking sadistic pleasure in the way Jirobo began incomprehensibly pleading and crying; his head whirling around to catch any of the other demons' attention, hoping for help.

Help wouldn't come for him.

Amidst the screeching and the squishy sound as Sasuke continued sawing through muscle tissue, the spectators started mumbling amongst themselves.

"Can't believe he out of everyone is the one who tried to trap the Lord's human."

"I had expected someone more impressive at least. Someone who could at least pretend to be a match for our Lord."

"Quite frankly he should call himself fortunate that he's only getting this punishment."

"I don't know; death seems like a better alternative to what the Lord is doing now."

"I can't say he didn't deserve it."

On and on the callous comments went, making it very clear to Jirobo that he wouldn't need to expect any help from them. They would be stupid to do so, knowing it was the lord himself that was meting out punishment.

Right as Sasuke was ripping off Jirobo's last arm, turning him into nothing but a bleeding, crying ball, he became aware of a familiar presence approaching him. He turned his head, watching Itachi walk towards him. His older brother raised an eyebrow and the corners of his mouth twisted.

"This the one who tried to form the contract?" he guessed correctly.

"This is the one, yes," Sasuke confirmed and stepped away from Jirobo, using a cloth someone else gave him to clean his hands. "I doubt he'll ever try something like this again. You found some of the ones that are still left?"

"We found them all," Itachi answered to his pleasant surprise. "Everyone involved with this has now been dealt with."

"Well, this certainly calls for a celebration then," Sasuke murmured, sharing a smirk with his brother.

After such a long wait, it was finally time for him and Naruto to perform the Bonding Ritual.

He took the time to personally stitch every black diamond on the deep red robes which would adorn his queen on their Bonding day. The robes were composed out of several layers, but each one was as light as air, ensuring a comfortable wear. The veil was equally as airy; the gauze a light red and complimentary to Naruto's skin.

The stitching had taken quite some time, but the effort and the time spent were more than worth it upon gazing the look of wonder on Naruto's face when he woke up to find the robes waiting for him.

Sasuke walked over to him and hugged him from behind, pressing his chest against Naruto's back. He kissed his neck, watching Naruto's fingers linger around the right sleeve.

"My apologies for the delay," he murmured. "Will you still do me the honour of marrying me?"

At once Naruto turned around and graced Sasuke with a blinding smile. "Today?" he questioned hopefully; his blue eyes glittering excitedly.

"Today," Sasuke confirmed and leant down to catch Naruto's mouth in a soft kiss, pouring all his love and hope for their future into it.

It was finally time to get Bonded.

If Sasuke had ever held any doubt whether Naruto truly wanted to be with him, the gorgeous smile brightening his face during their Bonding wiped away all of his fears and doubts. He looked absolutely radiant in the deep red of his Bonding robes; the faint blush colouring his cheeks made Sasuke want to press him to the nearest surface and ravage him, but he managed to hold himself back – barely, though.

Aiko was kissed, coddled and hugged before he was left in the more than capable hands of his grandmother, giggling when she started pulling funny faces at him. Their son turned his head briefly to wave at Naruto and Sasuke before he let himself be distracted by his uncle. That was more than fine with Sasuke who pulled a laughing Naruto along with him; the demon quite happy to leave the party behind.

"Shouldn't you stay longer as the lord of this territory?" Naruto teased when they appeared straight in their bedroom.

"They have food and music, they won't miss me," Sasuke said dismissively and ran his eyes greedily over Naruto's form, enjoying the way his cheeks pinked slightly. "I have something more important to attend to."

"Oh, and what is that?" Naruto asked innocently, breathing in sharply when Sasuke stepped forwards, sliding his knee between Naruto's thighs and parting his legs.

Sasuke dipped his hands down, grabbed the edge of the robes and rucked them up, so that he could slide his fingers across that smooth, warm skin he had been longing to touch for far too long now.

"I have been waiting so long for this," he murmured and hiked up the robes even further, baring Naruto's legs.

Naruto looped his arms around Sasuke's neck, pressing himself closer. "I was not the one who stopped you before," he reminded him impishly.

"I wanted to do right by you," Sasuke said, sliding his hands a bit higher, touching Naruto's inner thighs.

"You have been doing right by me from the start," Naruto murmured and rose up to kiss Sasuke.

Sasuke answered the kiss eagerly; their mouths moulding perfectly against each other. He ran the tip of his tongue across the seam of Naruto's lips and they parted easily for him, allowing their tongues to touch. Naruto's surprised noise when Sasuke picked him up was muffled by their mouths; Naruto's fingers briefly dug into Sasuke's shoulders when he lowered his husband – his husband, finally – onto the bed. Naruto's legs spread for him, allowing him to lie between them. As Sasuke set about helping Naruto get rid of his robes, while Naruto's own fingers struggled with the clasp of his own cloak, he became aware that Naruto's scent had changed. It was subtle, almost unnoticeable, if not for the fact that Sasuke had been focused on him from almost the very moment they had met.

"You smell differently," he mumbled absently, undoing the last clasp of the red robes. He pushed them open, taking in the beautiful sight of hardened nipples and a subtle blush spreading down from the neck to his chest. "Did you put on a scent?"

Naruto wasn't the type to wear scents – nor did he need them – but it could be that he had chosen one as a surprise for their Bonding day.

Naruto's smile was both warm with excitement as nervous when he replied, "I stopped taking the tea."

"Ah, of course," Sasuke said, but it took a bit before he actually fully comprehended what Naruto had just told him.

When he realised it, he shot up, staring down at Naruto with wide eyes. Naruto's smile widened a notch, even as he started to squirm underneath Sasuke.

"You stopped drinking the tea?" Sasuke repeated in a rough voice; shock slowly making way for growing excitement.

"Hm, with Aiko almost being two, I thought it would be nice if he gets a little brother or sister soon," Naruto replied; his eyes turning half-lidded. "So I stopped drinking the tea around a week ago."

Insecurity flashed through his eyes. "Unless you changed your mind and no longer want - "

The rest of his frankly ridiculous question got swallowed up by Sasuke's eager kiss. No longer able to control himself, he quickly rid Naruto of his robes entirely, leaving him fully naked. While he perused that lovely sight to his heart's content, Sasuke pulled off his own robes quickly, uncaring whether some of the seams became torn in the process.

As soon as his own clothes were gone, Naruto pulled him back down, bracketing him between his raised legs. Their lips found each other once more and as they kissed, their hands caressed and touched everything they could reach, drawing pleased sighs and throaty moans out of them both.

Naruto's muscles easily gave in, relaxing around Sasuke's fingers when he slowly pushed two of them inside, relishing in the wet heat and the way Naruto's body tightened around them every time he thrusted them back inside. Naruto started rolling his hips in tandem, pressing upwards against Sasuke, and a twin moan escaped them both before Naruto surged upwards, cradling Sasuke's face so that he could kiss him hungrily.

"Do you think we'll be successful tonight?" Naruto asked breathlessly when he pulled away; his lips swollen red by now.

He arched his back, a soft keen leaving his parted lips when Sasuke pressed against his stretched entrance, pushing inside without the smallest hint of resistance. Naruto's muscles opened easily for him, his body welcoming him deep inside of him as Sasuke's size stretched him wider than his three fingers had done. Sasuke's wings burst forth before he could even think about it and they came down to hover over them, blanketing them from the rest of the world.

He paused when he was fully bottomed out, letting his husband get used to it again. "We'll find out soon, I suppose," he said amused and nipped gently at Naruto's lower lip. "And if not," he pulled out slowly before he thrusted back inside, Naruto's moan sending a shiver down his spine, "we will have plenty of time to try again and again."

The rest of their lives even.

"I like the sound of that," Naruto murmured and groaned when Sasuke's next thrust hit something deep inside of him.

Sasuke liked the sound of it as well. The rest of their lives … No words had ever sounded so sweet before.

Black eyes met blue ones and they shared a smile before their mouths met again in a deep, messy kiss.

His Queen. His husband. His Naruto.

The rest of their life together could start now.
