Chapter Three -A not so friendly interaction with the Greeks-

"What's up Zhang?" Percy grinned as Frank jumped over the trench and hugged him.

"Looks like I owe you another one," Frank smiled. "What are you doing here?"

Percy's smile faded as he backed out of the hug and Hazel joined the two.

"What do you think they're talking about?" Russ joined Hector on the other side of the trench.

"No idea," Hector stared at the three. "Something must've come up for a Greek to visit so far out."

"They're our friends now Hector," Melissa frowned as she jumped over the trench. "He can drop by any time."

Hector shrugged and grinned, "I wanna see their camp…according to Mercury it's more personalized."

"It's actually very impressive and well thought of," She nodded. "Prefer this place though since it's more balanced."

"Balance is everything," Russ shook his head. "Gotta have more chaos than peace."

"Shut up," Mel hissed. "You're thirteen and have no idea what you're saying."

'But it's true,' Hector thought as Percy turned and pointed at him. 'Without more chaos than peace…the world will never learn.'

Hazel and Frank looked alarmed as they drew their weapons and pointed them at Hector.

"Hector!" Hazel called. "Do not move."

"Why?" He frowned. "What'd I do now?"

"Do not move." Frank ordered.

Percy approached him and leaned in to whisper, "Your timing is just too perfect with this event… so don't squirm please."

He drew riptide and tried to prick the skin of Hector who foresaw this with his divine eyes, quickly he thought of a strategy.

"This will prove whether he's the person we're looking for," Percy withdrew riptide and stared at the wound. "Apparently he is not."

Hector winced as the prick stung and bled red, "What were you hoping to accomplish?"

"A search," Percy frowned. "I'm sorry but I needed to be sure."

Hector glared at him and turned to his new friends as Percy retreated back to Hazel and Frank who had followed his example and sheathed their weapons.

"What was that about?" Russ grinned. "Are you a criminal or some?"

"Hush up." Mel elbowed Russ.

"No idea," Hector ignored the 13 year old. "But they're looking for someone."

Hector (Olympos) giggled under his breath as he returned his immortality to himself, it was a clever idea to switch just as the blade contacted his skin. Otherwise he would've been made and his adventure would've been cut short.

"I wonder who it is!" Russ crossed his arms.

Mel stared at the two Praetors and the Greek, she wondered what the Savior of Olympus was doing here. Percy made eye contact with her and gestured for the group to move along, in which Hazel and Frank followed him.

"He seems off." She frowned.

"What do you mean?" Russ bumped her.

"He's not normal," Mel scowled and pushed him back. "Not as joyful anymore."

This was true, it seemed that Percy was the first person the God's let know about the escape of Olympos.

"Well," Hector sighed. "Let's get on with this mess!"

Russ and Mel groaned as they looked around them, they were surrounded in ruin. And as all the war games usually went, after them was the cleanup.

The cleanup itself went on for hours and hours, it was so much that even Hector with his usual upbeat composure started to become irritated.

"This is not as fun as I thought it'd be," Hector could feel the blood vessels in his forehead pop out. "Even the banishment and isolation in the void wouldn't be as bad as this hell."

"What was that?" Mel called out from the trench below.

"Nothing." Hector took in a deep breath.

They continued working until they heard the hooves of horses come into hearing range, then they stood and waved.

"Hector," Hazel frowned. "Come with me please."

Russ and Mel glanced nervously at the waist of Hazel where her hand rested on her weapon.

"Why're you so nervous?" Mel asked as she climbed out of the trench.

"Mind your business Melissa." Hazel's eyes warned her.

"Calm down now," Hector chuckled. "What's this about?"

Hazel gestured for him to mount the horse she'd brought with her, "Come and find out."

The God in disguise nodded and mounted the horse, he followed the Praetor. On the way he made it obvious to her that he didn't like the way she talked to his friends.

"I assume it's my timing?" Hector glanced at Hazel.

"And your attire on the day of your arrival," Hazel kept her eyes forward. "You have a lot of wealth to be wearing off whites and not have a story."

Hector's eye twitched a tad at the minor details he didn't pay attention to. The Praetor glanced back and then grinned.

"But then again," She stared at him. "You could always be a Son of Mercury."

Hector shrugged and kept silent the entire way to the main street where Percy and Frank stood waiting with a few others.

"Hector Olyos," Percy grinned. "Now that I've confirmed you are not the monster we're looking for…it's time to prove you're one of us."

Hector frowned, "What?"

"I call upon the God's to answer my call," Percy flipped a coin into a water stream he summoned from the nearby river. "Come forth and claim your child."

'Oh boy.' Hector thought.

The entire Olympian council appeared through the Mist, "You called Percy?"

"I did and hopefully one of you comes forth to claim this one," Percy frowned. "His timing is susceptible."

"I see," Zeus boomed. "Then which one of yo-"

"I did," Hades stood from his new dark throne. "He is my spawn."

Poseidon grinned, "This should be fun."

"That means you fathered him in the time of our agreement," Zeus stood up furious, "Another deception!"

'Hades,' Hector thought while eyeing the God. 'What is your plan?'

The God's began bickering and Percy rolled his eyes, "Later pops."

"Later son!" Poseidon sat on his throne grinning.

The Mist faded away and the group of Demigods stood in disbelief.

"Who knew Hades couldn't keep it in his pants like Zeus," A girl with gray eyes grinned. "That honestly is hilarious."

Percy laughed and so did everyone but Hector who was still thinking about why Hades would lie for his sake. From his point of view he had seen that Hades forgave the council and their decisions. Was it a front? Being a Primordial God, Olympos had powers beyond comprehension, and he was quite capable of defeating each Olympian with their own power. Perhaps Hades knew this.

"Anyways as you know," Annabeth got serious. "Since he was claimed by a Greek God…he must come back to Camp Half-Blood."

"Wait what?" Two voices came from behind Hector. Mel and Russ stood there looking ready to protest his departure.

"He is Greek." Hazel nodded.

"Well, is he coming back?" Russ crossed his arms.

"He can visit whenever he wants," Annabeth sighed. "With clearance from the Senior Council."

Hector grinned, "I'll be back in a jiffy."

Mel grimaced, "Don't let those Greeks get you unorderly."

"Of course not Mel." Hector waved. "I'll go change into my clothes and get ready for our leave.

The departure was quick and orderly despite a spawn of both Poseidon and Hades flying to Manhattan. Hector peered out the window in the night sky, sitting next to him was Piper and Jason.

"So why are you two here?" Hector asked.

"We may be Romans but we have done extraordinary things…that come with travel perks." Jason grinned. Piper glanced at her phone, Hector peering out of the corner of his eye to see it was now 3 AM.

"We get there at 6," Piper frowned. "Travelling sucks."

It was also the fourth day till the Hearth Decision. If Olympos was to change his mine with support from the Mortals…it would be inside the 6 day time frame.

"I'm going to sleep," Hector sighed and turned to the window. "Enjoy your flight."

"You too." Jason kept his energetic exterior.

The group of Demigods were a sight to behold at the airport, especially since only one of them was dressed like a wealthy figure. The crowd stared as Hector followed behind the group in his white jordan hoodie and sweatpants with his off whites. He'd lost the Knicks jersey back at camp but he had no interest in that fodder team. His silver infinity chain bounced as he walked due to his height, standing at 6,7.

"He's quite tall," Percy frowned. "Wish I'd grown to that size."

"I don't…he seems to attract attention not including his attire," Annabeth muttered. "Looks like an NBA player."

'That was as cramped as Hades.' Hector thought as he rubbed his sore shoulder.

Airport security stopped the group and searched their bags, at which Hector went off to a vending machine. He had no money though so in secret he summoned silver ores and shaped them with his bare hands into coins.

"One coffee should last me," Hector sighed. "Not exactly Nectar but it'll do."

Once the group was set they were picked up by the Camp Van which was very…distinctive.
