AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Hi friends! I hope you enjoy this fic! I can't believe that A&A is 12 years old already. I remember being 13 years old and in 7th grade when it premiered, and now I'm 25, working toward a career in education with a full-time job working with middle school students. I've been obsessed with A&A since I was 14 and I still am in my mid 20's. I have been for years now and I probably always will be. It has gotten me through hell and back, and then some. It has helped so much with my anxiety, depression, PTSD, and when I need a pick-me-up and a way to decompress after a long, hard day at school or work.

As much as I love Auslly, I wish that the fandom had more variety and focused on other friendships and couples on the show. OK, enough of my unnecessary rambling. Onto the fic!

Trish De La Rosa, clad in a zip-up hoodie, a Marvel t-shirt, and Nike Pro bikeshorts, runs toward the door as her phone just dinged, saying that her Doordash order arrived. She has been craving Flamin' hot cheetos with lime, strawberries, Circus animal cookies, pizza pringles, and chocolate frosting. Trish found out she was pregnant five weeks ago, and after only being able to eat so much before what felt like never-ending nausea and food aversions, Trish has cravings.

She picks up her waterbottle, covered in stickers, as salt and sugar cause her to retain water and sits in front of the TV where she's binging Keeping up with the Kardashians. Jace Dillon, her husband, comes down and watches her while she's dipping the Cheetos in frosting. He is fighting really hard to keep a straight face on while she's pigging out.

"Don't judge. You're the one who had sex with me and knocked me up,"

Trish says.

"I'm not going to judge you, Trish. It's just so funny to me that just last week you were sick all the time and now you're eating like Dez when he smokes weed and gets the munchies."

"The baby wants what it wants, Jace."

Jace sits beside her and asks,

"Can I have some?"

Trish says,

"Help yourself."

He pats her belly and says,

"Hi, baby. I helped Mommy make you."

She giggles at her husband's cuteness. Jace's phone pings and he says,

"Austin just texted me saying he and Ally are going wine tasting next weekend, he wants us, Dez, and Carrie to come with."

Both Jace and Trish are in a group chat with Austin Moon, Austin's wife Ally Dawson-Moon, Dez Wade, and Dez's fiancée, Carrie Lainfield. Ally and Trish have been best friends since they were in Kindergarten, and Dez and Austin have known each other since they were in Kindergarten. In High School, they all met their significant others and now they are now engaged and married to their high school significant other. Ally, Carrie, and Trish have a lot of girls' days and girls' nights and Austin, Dez and Jace have guys' days and guys' nights.

Trish looks forlornly at the floor.

"I can't drink, though. I'm pregnant."

Trish texts,

"I'd love to go, but I'm pregnant :(."

Ally texts,

"Sorry Trish :(. Sucks you can't go."

Jace tells her,

"Trish, if you can't go, I shouldn't go. I wanna support you."

She says,

"Jace, that's sweet of you, but if you want to go, I won't be upset."

"You're sure about that?"

"Positive. We might be married, but I don't own you. You can do whatever you want if it doesn't hurt anyone else, me, or yourself."

Jace smiles at her,

"Thanks. I love you, Trish."

"I love you, too, Jace."

The two kiss companionably and Jace kisses Trish's belly.

"I love you, too, little baby boy or little baby girl."

Later that day, Trish finishes a Zumba session DVD and is sweating copiously. She huffs a bit and dabs at her sweaty forehead. She then breathes a sigh of exhaustion and drinks a bit from her waterbottle. She then gets a FaceTime call from Dez, or according to her phone, ET the extra terrestrial.

"Hey Dez!"

"Hi, Trish. I'm calling because I have a proposition."

"What's up?"

"You know how Austin and Ally invited us all to go wine tasting, but you can't go because you're knocked up?"

Trish sighs.

"Dez, I already mentioned in the group chat, I'm fine. I love tequila, wine, and beer, but my baby matters more than my cocktails."

"Actually, I was going to ask if I could keep you company on Saturday night. I wanted you to have someone to hang out with while your husband and your friends are doing something you can't do."

"Oh. Well, I kind of like that idea."

"We can do whatever you want, play games, zumba, go out for ice cream, drink non-alcoholic drinks, whatever you want."

"I have a Zumba DVD, I go to Zumba class on Saturday nights at the YMCA, and then we go for ice cream. Thank you, Dez, for thinking about me."

"Glad I did."

At Jace and Trish's apartment, Austin, Ally, Jace, and Carrie have already left and Dez and Trish are in Dez's car driving to the YMCA and Dez asks,

"How about some music?"

Trish says,

"OK. Give me your phone, let's see what you have for music."

Trish looks through Dez's phone- Nickelback, Rascal Flatts, Green Day, Kiss, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, The Monkees, The Cockroaches, Barenaked Ladies, Beach Boys, Gwen Stefani, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Demi Lovato, Beatles, Weird Al, Prince, Michael Jackson, Demi Lovato, and albums to High School Musical, the broadway soundtrack and the soundtrack to The Lion King, and even the albums from Glee. Green Day it is.

Dez and Trish proceed to sing American Idiot and Know your enemy together throughout the ride and attend Zumba class together. After the class, Trish says,

"Damn, Dez. I didn't know you were so good at Zumba."

"Carrie and I do classes of it every week."

"That's so cute."

Meanwhile, at the wine tasting, Ally and Carrie are singing a karaoke version of Hit me baby one more time with Austin and Jace clapping loudly in the audience. Both the girls bow and Ally sits beside Austin while Carrie takes a seat next to Jace. Ally asks Jace,

"Hey, Jace, how are you and Trish handling her pregnancy?"

while pouring herself and Carrie glasses of Sangria.

"I'm excited for her. I knew we wanted kids. I have to admit, I'm kinda terrified for her and for me, because we've never been parents before and we don't wanna fuck up our kid's life."

Austin says,

"Yeah, I can imagine."

Carrie pipes in.

"It was so sweet of Dez to want to keep her company while we're out here."

Jace says,
"Yeah. They always had this endearing brother-sister relationship. Last week, Trish's nausea from her pregnancy finally went down and she was eating like Dez when he gets the munchies. It was funny."

Elsewhere, Dez and Trish have just had dinner and are now hitting up Coldstone for ice cream. He asks her,

"Have you thought about what gender you want the baby to be?"

She says,

"I'm kind of hoping it's a girl. I want to make Jace buy her makeup and bras."

Dez sniggers.

"Do you think you're gonna be ready for diaper changes, late nights, spit up, and hours of Cocomelon everyday?"

She quietly snickers and says,

"The first three, I can handle, but I don't think I'm going to let my kid watch Cocomelon. I've had to skim through it with my nieces and nephews and that show is a fucking acid trip. I think I'll stick to Sesame Street, Disney, Minions, Paw Patrol, Barney, maybe even SpongeBob."

"Good plan. My niece loves all of those, and she likes Miss Rachel videos on YouTube."

"In general, Jace is a very affectionate person and I know he's gonna be a good dad to our baby."

"He is. I don't know why, but I picture him kicking the ass of anyone who tries to shame you for breastfeeding."

"I know he's gonna do that. He kicks ass of anyone who catcalls me in public."

Trish continues to scarf down her ice cream, covered in rainbow sprinkles and cookie crumbs, and says,

"Dez, I wanna say how much I appreciate you taking me out and having fun with me."

Dez says,

"You know I'm here for you, Trish."

Back at home, Trish is in bed with Jace and he is shirtless while she is wearing a sexy camisole with the lights dim and her eye mask over her face and she asks him,

"How was the wine tasting?"

"I enjoyed it. We missed you."

"I missed you guys, too."

"Austin told me that next time he and Ally invited us out to hang out with them, that they were gonna make sure it's fetus friendly so you can hang out with us. Everyone says hi."

"That's sweet of him. Dez and I had fun tonight too, we went to a Zumba class and then he took me out to dinner and for ice cream."

"You and Dez always had a friendship that reminds me of Penny and Sheldon on Big Bang Theory."

"I always thought that, too."
