Okay but like I don't even know if I wrote Sexual tension... So if I did yay! if I didn't sorry! (T_T)
From a young age Torū had been obsessed with volleyball, and it was always number one in his mind.
His best friend, Haijime Iwazimi, could tell that it didn't matter what they did, the younger boy always seemed to have Volleyball on his brain.
But the only thing that caught his attention other than Volleyball was aliens. Hajime could tell by the look in his eye that now he had two things that he was passionate about.
In doing so caused his brain to always be thinking about something, if it wasn't aliens or Volleyball, it was studying.
Torū was a smart kid from the get go, always at the top of his class, always tutoring someone in need, and always smiling.
But he always felt that something was missing, he thought it was a relationship because all of the boys his age weren't talking about studying, aliens, or volleyball. They always talked about girls.
So that's what he did, at the age of 10 he got his first girlfriend, it didn't really work out..
He didn't get it! What was the point of dating?! That something missing was still there! He didn't get it.
But he knew that when he found, that something missing, he would never let go of it…
But after that he had never been in a serious relationship. He dated around five girl's, which got him to the image of a playboy..
But in truth none of the girls that he dated had a problem, except that he paid them no attention. After getting dumped in first year, he stopped dating and focused on volleyball.
Hitoka Yachi had never been in a relationship, she never even had time to think about it. It was always studying, or drawing. She never really paid attention to boys or girls, hell she didn't even know what her sexuality was! But it always felt like something was missing..
Her mom was kinda glad that her daughter never paid attention to them, and that she didn't have to talk to her about anything. But she was also worried about her daughter's social life, that's why she wanted her to go to Karasuno, where she had to join a club. So her daughter could have friends and go out, and have a normal teenage life.
Hitoka was nervous about entering a club, she was going to join the Art club, but found out that she was too late and it was full. She didn't want to sing in front of people, or act, so drama and choir were off the list. And she couldn't do any sports! So what was she going to do?!
That all stopped when a third year came to her classroom in the middle of the day, she told her about this whole thing with managing a sports club, more specifically, the Boys Volleyball Club.
This was a perfect opportunity! She wouldn't be in the spotlight, she didn't have to sing, dance, or act. She didn't have to worry about doing something she hated, or that she would have to be forced to.
So she told the nice third year, "Y-yes" and met the team later that day.
But if there's one thing that everyone could tell, or see from Hitoka, was that she was an overthinker and had a constant state of panic/anxiety.
Once the team met her, everyone silently agreed that she was already a part of the team, and that they were protective of her..
It was a nice Monday morning during Karasuno's practice and everyone had been excited about their practice match with Aoba Joshi in a couple of days. So everyone was practicing extra hard.
"Okay, everyone please gather around!" Ukai called.
Everyone gathered curious.
"So, we will be going down to Aoba Joshi tomorrow. There was a change in plans because we have also been invited to a training camp in Tokyo." Ukai looks around to see everyone excited. "Now, we will be leaving during your last hour, so be at the bus at 2:15 pm!" Uaki looks to the side at Takeda.
"A-ah! Yes Girls, would you mind passing these out?" Takeda hands them papers.
They take the paper with a smile and pass it out, "This is for you to give to your teacher at the end of the day before you leave, hand this to them and leave. Got it?" Uaki said, giving them a stern look.
"HAI"
The next day everyone was excited, and overjoyed. Hitoka felt nervous, this was her first game that she would see.
She was asking a ton of questions, like, "What should I write down?", "Is there anything I need to know?", Ect. Kiyoko reassured her that everything was going to be okay.
And she had felt better all the way up until they were on the bus and Kageyama opened his mouth, "Yeah, I used to go to middle school with them, Oikawa-Senpai is a third year student and his serves hit hard." He says so casually.
"R-really?" Hitoka stuttered, "H-he can't b-be that ba-bad right?" Hitoka looked at him scared.
Kiyoko and the others looked at him like he was crazy, because they just got her to calm down, "No he is, one time he hit the ball so hard it popped, Iwaizumi-Senpai smacked him upside the head." He said, with a chuckle as he drank his milk.
Hitoka at this point was terrified to even think about going to the gym.
Hinata smacked Kageyama on the head, "Look what you did! Yacchan I promise the Great King isn't that bad!" Hinata looks at Hitoka, who is now clinging onto Sugawara.
"Look at the poor girl Kageyama! You scared her!" Dachi said, shaking his head.
"Ah! I'm sorry Yachi-San! I didn't mean to!" Kageyama immediately apologized to her and felt bad.
"I-i-its ok-okay!" She said calming down, "N-nothing l-l-like tha-that's gonna happen today! Right?" She asked, looking up at Suga.
"No, that was Oikawa when he was in middle school, he knows how to control his input and output of strength, I promise. And I don't think he's ever had a stray ball since first year?" Suga looked at Kageyama.
"Yeah! So you don't have to worry!" Kags said, taking a deep breath.
Hitoka nodded, calmed down enough to let Suga go, "T-thank you."
"Mhmm! It's not a problem, honestly you've gotten better at this whole thing." Suga smiles at her.
She smiles brightly, "Really?!"
"Mhmm" everyone agreed.
After that she seemed to calm down, and focus on her notes.
Torū was excited for Karasuno to come, he wanted to win against Kageyama again. And although Hajime called it stupid, Torū didn't want someone younger than him to beat him. Which is why he would challenge him all that he could.
So when he heard that they were coming earlier he smiled and was happy.
Karasuno had walked onto the court, Aoba Joshi greeting them with small smiles and waves.
Torū had been looking for his former teammate when he laid eyes on a short blonde girl that had the same chocolate brown eyes as him. Everything stopped, he felt his heart beat quicken. His face started to heat up, his stomach had butterflies in it, and he could hear his heart beat like a drum.
He couldn't hear anything but Hajime had been trying to tell him something, but he didn't hear that. All his attention was focused on her, nothing else.
And suddenly she looked at him, and he snapped out of it.
"Hey dumbass we're lining up–" He was cut off by Torū leaving the gym, "Wai– Kawa? KAWA WAIT!"
"Um– I'm so sorry about this Ukai," Coach Mizoguchi said, turning to Ukai with an apologetic look, "Oikawa has never done that before."
"It's alright Mizoguchi, we are going to stretch in the meantime."
"Alright then, KIDS, stretch until I can see what's up with your captain." Coach Mizoguchi said, walking out of the gym in the process.
"HAI"
While the others kept their thoughts to themselves only one person caught what happened.
'What's up with that?...' Kiyoko thought to herself.
"Kawa what the hell?!" Hajime looked at his best friend in complete shock, "You've never done anything like that in the 17 years that I've known you!"
Torū looked at his best friend, eyes widened and face flushed, and that missing feeling…
Gone..
"I–" He stopped and just closed his eyes, "I–" He couldn't speak, he didn't know what to say.
Hajime looked at him, face now filled with concern, "Torū? Seriously, you need to tell me–"
"Iwaizumi? Anything–" There coach stops and looks at the brunet, who is now trying to find words to say. "Why don't you sit out for the first set and collect your thoughts?" His coach said, not really asking, but telling him to stay out.
Torū just nodded knowing that this was for his own good, "Y-yeah"
Both Iwaizumi and coach Mizoguchi nodded and left him in the hall.
'What is this? Why couldn't I talk? Why is the feeling that something is missing now gone?..' He thought, and slid down the wall and curled into a ball. 'Why now? Why today?..I DON'T EVEN KNOW HER!' He screams internally at himself.
He sighed to himself and looked around, he saw his bag that had his phone in it and decided to go to the internet and look it up, because…What else is there to do?
He looks up everything that happened and there it was, underlined and highlighted..
"Love at first sight"
Torū's eyes winded and his face felt flushed, 'What?! No! I tried dating! I-It didn't feel like this!' He continued to read.
"You experience nervousness, sleepless nights because you can't stop thinking about them, anxiety, you look for them everywhere you go, your heart will race, body language will change, sweaty palms, desire, lus–"
He stopped reading and dropped his phone in his bag, and his face flushed. 'This- This can't be happening!' He took deep breaths, 'Okay, I just have to forget about this whole thing! Ah- um aliens! A-and outer space! Her eyes look like Mars– NO!' At this point he was spireling.
He tried to clear his mind, but it didn't work, 'Why? I'm normally just flirty!' and then it hit him.
He got a flashback from when he was 10 years old,
"I swear if I ever find that one thing I will never let anyone or anything stop me from having it! Even the aliens can't stop me!"
"Kawa really? What if it's a person?" Young Hajime suggested as he flipped through his godzilla coloring book.
"First off I would tell them that they're mine and no one can have them! And two! I would love them and cherish them forever!" Young Torū said, sitting down with an alien plushie in hand.
"Kawa you can't do that! You can't have a person!" Hajime said while coloring.
"Okay, well then I'll ask them to marry me!"
"Date them first idiot."
"Obviously!"
He blushed at his younger self's thoughts and words, 'I found them..Her'
He shook his head and tried to get himself out of that mind frame and into one where he could play.
"E-excuse me?" A voice came from behind him.
He jumped and looked back.
"AH! O-oh my gosh I'm so s-sorry Senpai!"
He saw the blonde girl from earlier, he instantly got nervous, his heart racing, palms sweaty. The signs were all there…
"Y-your," He cleared his throat, "You're fine, Um..I-is there anything that you need?" He asked nervously. 'She's so pretty up close..'
"I–I want to come and ch-check up on you! K-Kageyama said that y-you did this for attetion..b-but I wanted to make sure you were okay!"
For some reason when she had brought up Kageyama it made him jealous, like he wanted her all to himself..
Torū got a sudden hit of confidence in him, but he didn't want to come off as a playboy, "What's your name cutie?~" He winked. He thought if he flirted he could get back in his head space, it worked! For now…
Hitoka got flustered, "H-hitoka Y-yachi!" 'Why is my heart racing?! My palms are sweaty!'
"Well what a cute name for a cute girl like you. Names Torū Oikawa!" He smiled, "Thanks for checking up on me Yacchan! I appreciate it, but I just needed some time to myself. But I'm better now. So can I have your number?" He tried to ease the question in.
Hitoka looked at him to see if he was serious, his face was flushed and he was looking away, from all the movies that she watched, which she knew wasn't the best for this but she didn't really have anything else right now, told her that she could trust his intention for right now.. What did she have to lose?
She flushed a scarlet color, "S-sure" She took out her notebook and quickly wrote her number on there and handed it to him, "T-there!"
Torū looked and saw her scarlet red face, and saw her handing him a piece of paper. "T-thank you–" He took the paper and put it in his phone case. "W-we should get back before one of your team members comes over." He looks over at her.
She nods and takes a deep breath, "Y-your not as bad as everyone says." She whispered and sped walked to the gym.
She said it in a whisper but he heard her, he just blushed, 'S-she is different..' He shook his head, 'Get your head in the game..now you have a motive! Use it!' He smiled to himself and walked to the gym.
After the game ended he felt better.
Aboa Joshi had won, they went into 3 sets, Karasuno won the first one. But when Torū entered into the second set they had one the second and third. It was a close one.
After words they cleaned up and still had some time before the buses came, so they talked to one another.
"Kawa you're okay now, right?" Hanamaki asked, worried.
"Mhmm, I'm fine.." He said, eyes not leaving the little blonde that was Yachi Hitoka.
Hitoka was handing out water to the others, and making sure everyone that got hurt was okay and getting medicine. But she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. She glanced to the side where she felt the piercing gaze.
As she lifted her head her eyes met with Torū Oikawa, her eyes widened, and she softly blushed. But that feeling that she always felt, the feeling that something was missing was finally gone! And she didn't want it back, so she wanted to see what would come of this…
Kiyoko kept thinking about what happened before the game, and she didn't feel good about it, not one bit. But saw Torū watching her.
So she went up to Yachi and asked her if they could talk in private, "Of course Senpai!" They stepped into the hall, Torū's gaze never leaving her till they walked out.
"Hitoka-Chan, I know this might sound weird, but please stay away from Oikawa.. I don't have a good feeling about him…" Kiyoko glanced at the door worried.
Hitoka was confused, and torn between this decision. Should she listen to Kiyoko? She was pretty good at this kind of thing. Or should she listen to this strong force that's telling her to get to know Oikawa as a person! And not an image that's painted over him. What does she have to lose?
Should she lie to them? Tell her that she would stay away, but she's talking and hanging out with him? NO! She would not lie! She's a good girl! She needed to stand up for herself and make this decision for herself and not for anyone else. "N-no" She whispered
"Hitoka?" Kiyoko looked at her like she didn't hear her.
Hitoka took a deep breath and looked at her, "N-no! I-I can hang out with–" She took another deep breath trying to gather every ounce of confidence she had, "I can hang out with whoever I want.." She looked into Kiyoko's eyes to tell her that she's serious because her words didn't come out as confident as she wanted them to.
Kiyoko was surprised by this, this was unusual coming from Hitoka. She didn't expect this. But she didn't understand what Yachi meant by this? Why would she say no? She's just looking out for her. "H-hitoka you don't understand, he's–" She was cut off.
"I-I know what everyone says. Kag's told me…B-but that's just what everyone says! I-its an image that's placed over someone because of one or two things!..H-he could be different.."
"Hitoka I'm just trying to–"
"I-I know you're trying to look out for me! A-and I appre-appreciate it! I do..but I can't learn unless I do things myself…" She looks down, confidence wearing thin.
"Please Hitoka–"
"W-why can't you just let me make my own decisions?!" She looks at Kiyoko eyes tearing up. "I-I have a chance to make a friend that I made on my own, and you're telling me that I can't?!" She started crying and ran..She just ran, out the front doors and out into the rain…
Kiyoko knew right then and there that she fucked up..
Kiyoko ran back into the gym, "Guys…I-I fucked up..bad.."
Everyone looked at Kiyoko worried, Torū looked around for Hitoka trying to see if she was coming in or not.
"I- Hitoka ran– She ran out the front door!" She yelled, everyone was thrown into a panic.
Then they heard a door, open and slam shut. They all looked around and saw that Torū had left.
As soon as Torū heard that she left, he ran, hoping that he would catch up to her. She was small, and it was raining, how far could she have gone?
The answer was far…
Torū had checked everywhere, the park, the hospital, the garden, the gift shop, everywhere… Then he realized one place he didn't check…
'The library!' Torū instantly stopped and turned around and ran to the library.
He ran and ran, until it came into view..
The library had been on the complete opposite side of town. And she made it down there?! 'Well she was sad and angry, so I don't blame her.'
He stopped, his hair now completely soaked in water, and shoes filling with water. He took a deep breath and walked to the front of the library.
He saw blonde hair come into view and sped up.
"Yachi!" He called out, he saw a head go back down. And he ran up the stairs and found her curled up in a ball underneath the roof of the library. "...Yachi?"
She looked up and saw Torū right in front of her, she quickly tried, and failed to wipe her eyes. Her shirt, pants, shoes, hair, now soaked in cold rain water. "S-senpai!"
Torū was now concerned about her catching hypothermia in this state. "Yachi…" he sat down and healed her close, "We need to get you into a warm shower and warm clothes, or you're going to catch hypothermia.."
She knew he was right, it was extremely stupid of her to run out in cold rain, especially when its pouring down. She could feel herself shivering, she was dizzy, and could hear her speech slurring.
Torū knew he needed to do something, and fast. "Hitoka! I need you to stay awake!" he saw her skin discolor, so he quickly picked her up, "I'm going to take you to my place okay!" he held her close.
Hitoka could only slightly pick out what he was saying, but she knew he was trying to help, so she just clung to him and nodded. She was trying to stay up, but she just slowly closed her eyes.
'Shit.. I need to hurry.' he would have taken her to the hospital, but they didn't have there phones and the hospital was on the other side of town! So he did the next best thing…bring her to his apartment that was close.
After running there, he immediately turned on the warm water, and took off her shirt, 'thank God she's wearing an undershirt' and woke her up.
"Wha-"
"Hitoka! I need you to stay awake, the shower is warm! Okay, I need you to get in and warm yourself up okay? Can you do that for me?"
Hitoka heard him but just nodded slowly trying to gain her sense back. She felt the warmth of the steam hitting her. She slowly started undressing herself, when she heard the door close.
Torū stepped out of the bathroom and set some of his sister's old clothes out for her, and one of his hoodies. He then made her some hot tea, and laid out some blankets on the couch.
'Shit I need to change too..' he went up to his room and grabbed some of his clothes and went to use his parents shower.
After they both finished showering they got dressed.
Hitoka felt embarrassed about everything that happened, 'What if he thinks I'm a weirdo now?!' she worried, she continued getting dressed and saw the hoodie and blushed, 'It doesn't mean anything Hitoka! He's just being nice!' she told herself, and put it on. 'Its so soft and warm though!^^' she smiled, and walked downstairs where she saw Torū sitting down with fresh clothes.
"I- t-thank you!" Was all she could manage to say.
Torū looked over and saw Hitoka in his sister's old leggings, and in his favorite hoodie that was long enough to reach her knees.
He slightly blushed and nodded, "Y-yeah, it's no problem Yacchan! Do you feel better?" he looked at her concerned.
Hitoka nodded with a soft smile and walked over to him. "I do…I'm sorry for being so careless and reckless.." She sits down next to him.
"It's okay, it happens..wanna talk about it?"
She nodded, and then shivered.
"Still cold?"
"Y-yeah..but we should call our teams.."
Torū nodded, "I have a home phone, so do you have your coach's number?"
"N-no..I just joined the team not too long ago and haven't had time to memorize them.." she bit her lip, feeling like she was about to cry.
Torū seemed to realize this and quickly comforted her, "Hey its okay, I promise. If not anything they'll still be at school.." He got up and grabbed the phone and called his coach.
Meanwhile Hitoka wrapped herself in the blankets that were on the couch, she was happy and warm.
Torū was talking to everyone on speaker phone, when he glanced over and saw her snuggled up on his couch with blankets all around her, with her smile. "Aw-" he whispered but someone heard it.
"What?"
"Ah- sorry couch! But um yes! Hito– Yachi is safe and being warmed up. She said that she'll call her mom to pick her up." He smiled to himself while admiring her.
"Okay, thank you Oikawa for helping us, and sorry for the trouble."
"No trouble at all! She looks like she's nice and warm. I'll see you guys tomorrow, kay?"
"Yeah yeah I'll bring both of your guys stuff so make sure that you're ready dumbass!"
"Mean Iwa-Chan!"
He hung up on him and sat down on the couch. "Hey, you warming up?"
"A little," she said looking up at him, "I hope I didn't cause a panic.." she looked down.
"You didn't, don't get me wrong they were worried! But they're okay now." he lifted her chin, looking into her eyes. 'She looks so kissable right now..' He quickly moved his hand and tried to change the topic. "So! Did you still wanna talk about it?"
"I-if you don't mind?"
"Not at all!"
Hitoka took a deep breath and everything that she had bottled up for the past 14 years just spilled out.. She looked at Torū and started, "When I was younger I had trouble making friends because I was always panicking or had anxiety all the time. So no one wanted to be friends with me, but it also always felt like I was missing something…"
As soon as she said that she looked down like she was trying to figure it out. But Torū? His head snapped over to her and his eyes widened in surprise that she felt the samething to.
"But I never understood what it was. I thought it was me not having friends..So I ignored it and focused on school. I-it worked! But after middle school my mom wanted me to join Karasuno because I would have to join a club, and make friends.. So that's what I did! But the last week before I was supposed to join, Kiyoko-Senpai came to me and offered me the manager position..I figured it was the best option. Considering all that was open at the time was a sport, drama, and choir." She paused and took a breath.
All Torū could do was sit there and nod, he figured that she had been holding this in for quite some time. And just wanted her to get it off her chest.
"So I said yes and met them later that day.. After that I made some friends… for the first time in my life.. Well one friend.. Hinata? He helped me..So everyone else I had help with..and even then Hinata and the others seemed skeptical..I shrugged it off though. But that, something missing? It didn't go away! It always felt like a piece of me was missing! And I didn't know why–...U-until I m-met…You.." She finally looked up at Torū, eyes watering.
Everything started to add up, she felt the same too? Is that it? But why was she crying?! Did she not want to be friends or, 'more?...'
He gently cupped her cheeks, "Hitoka, I felt the same thing, I promise you. It always felt like something was missing. But today, when I saw you.. All of that faded, I felt complete, like you were all I needed." He looked into her eyes, and saw them widen with happiness.
Torū figures if she feels it too, then might as well go for it!
He leans in to kiss her, he can see her eyes close. As he closes her eyes, he hears a knock at the door.
Both of them stop and blink for a second, Torū rolls his eyes at the door and looks at her apologetically, he gets up and goes to the door.
'Is it bad I really wanted to kiss him?! Shit..What if he regrets it?! What if– No stop! You have to trust some people!...Stupid door..' She folded her arms like a child.
Torū opened the door and saw his best friend with two bags, "Here idiot, and this is for the girl." Iwaizumi said, looking at his best friends face, that looked like he was annoyed at him, 'Um..What the fuck did I do?!' He thought to himself.
"Come in," 'Iwa-Chan! Why do you have the worst possible timings!' He cursed his best friend's timing. "You got here quick?" Torū looked at Iwaizumi, a bit annoyed at him at the moment.
"Yeah? And?" He replied before walking into the house, and going to the living room. When he got in there he saw Hitoka wrapped up in the blankets sipping what looked like tea.
'Ugh! Always at the wrong time! She was about to be mine!–' Torū stopped himself, 'I need to calm down–...' He shook off his thoughts and went back to the living room.
"–my name is Hajime Iwaizumi, I'm Torū's best friend. It's nice to meet you–"
"A-ah Yachi! H-hitoka Yachi!" She nervously smiled at him. 'What's wrong with me! I need to calm down! Just breathe and remember that he's just a person.' Hitoka took a deep breath and smiled, "I-it's nice to meet you too!"
Torū smiled, and sat down on the couch, "Thanks Iwa-Chan!"
"Mhmm, anyways, Coach Ukai. He told me to tell you he said thank you. And that–" He turns to Hitoka, who seemed to stiffen up, "–that he's glad you're safe." This seemed to calm her down. "Well that's all, so see you," He turns to Torū, "Tomorrow, and" he turns to Hitoka, "I hope you make it home safe" He smiles and stands up. "Bye guys!" He quickly gets out, 'Why did I have a feeling like I was being threatened in that house?' He walked back to his car confused.
"Sorry about that" Torū broke the awkward silences, "Um did you need any more tea?" He looked at her, 'I really wanna kiss her right now!'
"Um– n-no thank you..I should call my mom she probably worried..if they called her?" She thinks to herself for a moment and then shakes her head, 'I really wanted to kiss him..IS THAT BAD?!' She internally panics. "I'll be right back!" She quickly runs out, 'WHY AM I SO WEIRD?!' She screams at herself.
Torū watched as her face heated up before she ran out, which made him smirk to himself, 'I guess she really did fall for me after all..And I her.' he smiled at the thought.
Hitoka stepped outside and called her mom, "Hey mom, I don't know if the coach texted you but I'm okay now!"
"Hitoka! Thank god! Yeah he called me about 10 minutes ago! I'm glad you're okay, and I know you wouldn't do that without reason. So you can explain when I get home in a couple days, kay?"
"Thank you, also…I–I have a weird question to ask…" She takes a deep breath.
"Yeah?" Her mom asked, suspiciously at her
"So, in the process of all of that..You remember the something missing I felt years ago? And I told you that I would tell you when I found it?"
"Yeah?" She asked, confused.
"Well…I–I found..him…" She hesitated.
"Wha–"
"A-and I–" She stopped and bit her lip.
"I understand..believe me I do..Something happened with me and your father..before he passed he joked that you would have it too..and, when you told me..I–I felt relieved?..W-we'll talk more about this later, Kay? For now shoot your shot, this only happens once in a lifetime. Stories say that feelings like that are believed to be your soulmate.."
She smiled and nodded to herself and remembered one thing that stood out with Torū..He had that look in his eye..one she only saw in movies..
"H-hey mom..w-what if he..he has that look in his eye?"
"What do you mean sweetie?"
"The one in your favorite romance movie?"
"...T-that look?"
"..Yeah?" She asked, confused.
She heard her mom take a deep breath, "So it's really not my place to say..Just um? Don't flirt with other guys and/or girls..and..ask him about it.." She sighed, "Well I have to go sweetie, love you and be safe…and if it's for the record, if you get scared, your dad was the same way.."
Hitoka looked confused at this point, so she just nodded, "Um…Okay mom..love you too."
They both hung up. Hitoka sighed and smiled, 'I need to shoot my shot!..Whatever that means?' She shook off her thoughts and went back inside.
"Ah so is your mom coming to get you?" Torū looked at her, a bit sad that she might leave.
Hitoka looked at him, and saw the sadness and shook her head, "She's out of town right now.. Sorry if this is an inconv–" She was cut off.
"Its not!" He took a deep breath before he started again, "You can stay here, and I'll drop you off at your school tomorrow." He smiled.
"Thank you Senpai.." She smiled.
"So you never did tell me what happened at school to make you run out like that?" He tilted his head, while offering a seat on the couch.
"R-right!" She walked over with an embarrassed blush while sitting down. She started, "Well you remember I told you that technically I've only made one friend?"
"Yeah?"
"W-well Kiyoko-Senapi asked me to stay away from you! And since I already met you, I wanted to get to know you! Because you were proof that I could make friends on my own! And that I didn't need help anymore.." She looked down, "Normally I would have just listened to Kiyoko-Senpai, and did what she said.." Torū winced at that, "B-but I felt something–like a force? That kinda told me that I shouldn't listen to Kiyoko..So I went on this whole thing about being able to do things for myself..and–" She stopped and thought for a second. "I– It seemed like she didn't get it..so I guess I just bottled everything up..and I saw an opportunity..and I took it.." She sighed.
Torū understood what she meant, she wanted to do things on her own, and not have everyone tell her what to do.. He smiled when he realized that she had argued for him, so that she could hang out with him.. He blushed, 'This girl.. I-is something else..she's gonna turn me into some kind of yandere' He chuckles to himself.
He then lifts her chin up and looks into her eyes, "Well it sounded like to me, that you fought for me? Is that right?~" He leaned closer to her ear, "Hitoka~" He whispered. And went back to his seat.
When he sat back in his seat, he looked at her, she was scarlet. And he grinned at her. "Well if I didn't know any better I would say, mhmm, could it be that you," He got closer again, "Love me~" He whispered in her ear. He pulled back, just a little and kissed her cheek.
Hitoka's brain to say the least was malfunctioning, when reality finally hit her, she looked at him blushing.
She gulped, she had realized as soon as he said "Love" It felt right! She knew her moms words were right! But..Did he feel the same?
"Did I get it right?~" He grinned from ear to ear, his confidence and ego going up.
She gave him a small nod.
He chuckled, turning his cockyness into possessiveness in less then a second.
Hitoka glanced up at him and felt the mood change, making her tense a little.
"Don't be scared of Hitoka-Chan, maybe we're soulmates~ so how about we start dating?" He smiled.
Hitoka was surprised by this, happy! But surprised. She almost got whiplash from all his emotions that he had today with her alone. But she was still in a state of shock, so she snapped out of it by closing her eyes and nodding.
"Aw, how adorable!" He caressed her cheek, "I know all the emotions that I threw around today, was a lot." She nodded into his hand, and leaned into it. "Awe Princess!"
She blushed at the nickname, and looks at him shyly, "D-does that mean–"
"We're official?"
She nods.
"Yes princesa~"
Hitoka blushed more at the change in language. "Y-you speak Spanish?" She tilted her head.
"Mhmm~ Well now that we're official, can I ask what your mom said?"
"Oh she said that the same thing happened with her and my dad, that they had the "Something missing" too! And that..Well I asked her about something and she told me to ask you about it.." She stopped and looked at him a little confused.
"About?" He asked, while gently running his fingers through her hair.
"Well– just about earlier? At the gym, your eyes never left me? A-and you had a look in your eye that I've never seen, except in movies?"
Torū stops and looks at her, "Before I answer that, what did you think when you saw me looking at you?" He asked, carefully.
Hitoka thought about it for a second and smiled, "I-well–..I blushed." She looked away from embarrassment.
He smiled, "You really are perfect.." He whispered to himself and smiled at her, "The word you're looking for is possessive. Hitoka," he lifted her chin to look at him, he gently slid his hand to her cheek and gently rubbed his thumb over her cheek, "the word is possessive..You know what that means right?" He asked, admiring her face.
"N-no not really? Just that my mom said not to flirt with girls and boys? I don't do that anyways– I don't think?" She looked like she was in thought.
Torū found this cute, and adorable.
"A-anyways, and to ask you." She looked back at him, "Oh! And to not be scared? Because my dad was the same..I still don't know what that means.." She looked at him confused.
"Ah, okay, so-" He paused trying to think of a way to tell her, without scaring her off, "What that means, is..I don't want to share you..If that makes sense.." He looks at Hitoka, who looks like she's trying to understand, he sighs and just straight up tells her, "Your mine"
Hitoka gets shivers down her spine when he says that, and smiles, "T-than your mine!" She blushes.
Torū blushes, then smirks, "Of course~ I won't flirt with anyone, kay?"
Hitoka nodded, "Neither will I.." She thought about it, 'What did mom mean about being scared?' She wondered.
"You okay?" He asks, pulling her to his chest.
In doing so she blushes, and tenses a bit. She soon sinks into his chest, "Yeah, just wondering what my mom meant by, "Scared?""
"Some people don't like being called someone else's..like for example, I don't want you to be alone when going somewhere..I want you to text me and call me whenever you can.." he holds her close, hoping she's okay with this.
"Okie!" She snuggled closer to him, "I don't mind! Which reminds me, Karasuno has a training camp tomorrow in Tokyo."
"..Want me to come?"
"...during the weekend. I don't want you to miss practice or school for me..plus its your last year right?" she looked up at him.
He looked down and nodded, "Call and text..please."
"Of course!" She said, happily.
He chuckled and smiled, "You really are perfect for me.." he said while pulling her up, and standing up, "Come on" he lifted her up like a princess.
"EEK" She clung onto him.
He chuckled and carried her to his room, "Princesa~" he opened his door, and kissed her gently on her lips.
"Mhm-" Hitoka was caught off guard, but she melted into the kiss.
Torū smiled and set her down on his bed, without breaking the kiss. He got on top of her and slid his tongue over her mouth, and smiled when she complied and opened her mouth. He slipped his tongue into her mouth and slowly explored her mouth.
He pinned her to the bed, 'She tastes sweet, its been so long since I've done this!' He breaks the kiss. A string of saliva connected. "Your a good kisser Princesa~"
She blushes, "t-thanks…s-so are you..T-Torū" she says trying to catch her breath.
Torū smirks at her, "I love you, but we both have school tomorrow and its already," He looks over at his clock, "11 am"
She blushes, "L-love you too." She smiles.
He moves next to her and pulls her to his chest, "come on." he smiled and covered them both in the blankets.
She snuggles closer to his chest, while he smiles and holds her close, 'Forever mine Hitoka~' He grinned and slowly started to close his eyes.
In the morning Torū's alarm went off and they both got up. "Morning Princess" Torū sat up smiling.
"Morning Torū," She smiled sleepily, "H-" she yawned, "How did you sleep?"
Torū smiled at her in adoration, "Good, you?" He looked at her.
"Good, what time is it?"
"It's 4 am, I set it a bit earlier because we still need to swing by your house to pick up your clothes for training camp." He smiled.
"Thanks Torū." She smiled, a bit more awake now.
"Yeah, what time do you leave?"
"At 11 am," She leans into him, laying her head on his chest.
He grins and hugs her, "I know princess, you can sleep later though. As much as I want to keep you to myself right now," He kissed the top of her head, "We need to get ready for today." He sighed.
Hitoka blushes a bit and then lets out a whiny "Okay".
After they got ready Torū made them breakfast, "Hey Torū?"
"Mhm?" He looked up from his plate.
"Um, where are your parents?" She asks, a bit shy.
"Oh, they're out of town with my sister and nephew. Something about tickets to disney world or something. I wasn't interested so I stayed here." He smiled.
"Oh" she nodded and gave a small smile, and went back to eating.
After they finished eating they got ready to leave.
A/N: Okay this is already long! And I just wanna finish this already ? so Ima speed things up a bit!
After they grabbed her stuff from her house, Torū drove them to Karasuno. At the time it was about 7 am, so she had time for practice and to make up with Kiyoko.
But Torū being petty, wanted everyone to know who was, His. So he went to the front of the school, before it even opened for anyone, and saw people in the front and smirked.
"-so after tutoring me and Ennoshita-San had to grade Hinata and Kageyama's work, and they still failed!" She complained and he chuckled.
"Sometimes people just don't want to learn, so they make others frustrated. I tried tutoring Tobio but it never seemed to click.." He thought as he stopped in front of the school. He automatically saw students mummering and whispering to each other while looking at him and Hitoka, he smirked a bit when they took out their phones and took pictures. "Well princess we can discuss this later on the phone.. Have a good day at school princess." He pulled her into a kiss.
She blushed, "Y-you did that on purpose didn't you?!" She giggled.
"Well I have to let people know that you're mine now, don't I?" He smirked and gave her another kiss.
Hitoka didn't seem at all embarrassed this time, or filled with anxiety for now. She just felt happy.
She smiled and kissed back, and nodded, "I'll text you when I get on the bus! Love you!" She smiled.
He nodded and unlocked the car, "Love you too, Prencesa~" He said, as soon as she stepped out of the car.
She blushed at that and closed the door, blushing.
He laughed a little and waved while driving away.
As soon as he did though his phone started blowing up, so he glanced at it, and one of the titles of the tweet is, "Volleyball player, Oikawa Torū, dating a cute short blonde girl from Karasuno!" He smirks to himself while driving to his school, 'Well I guess everyone will know now.'
As soon as he drove off she was immediately getting bombarded with questions. She just wanted to get to the gym right now, but she knew as soon as she said, "Yes" to him that this was bound to happen, but she was not at all prepared for this. So she just kept her head down and tried to get through the crowd.
Then she felt someone pull her hand gently, she tensed and was about to pull her hand away when Suga popped up next to her, she looked up and saw the rest of her team telling people to back off. The person that had grabbed her hand was Yamaguchi.
They helped her to the gym, where she calmed down, "T-thank you all! A-and I'm terribly sorry about yesterday!" She bowed.
Everyone was shocked, "Wow, um– not what we expected, but thank you," Sugawara said, chuckling.
Hitoka looked at them confused, "Wha-"
"Hitoka it's not your fault, please understand that what I did was not okay in any way, and I'm sorry about what I said last night." She looked down.
"It's okay, Kiyoko-Senpai! I understand that you were just looking out for me." She smiled.
"Now that that's sorted, wanna tell us what happened to your mom taking you home?" Dachi asking like an intimidating dad.
"And why you and the great King are trending everywhere?" Hinata asks, as if he was suspicious of the both of them.
Hitoka felt like she was getting interrogated by overprotective parents and siblings. It made her tense a little, then she remembered what Torū said this morning, '"If they interrogate you just remember that it's okay. They just want to know, don't feel panicked or anything, just relax and answer their questions. If it gets uncomfortable just tell them." He smiled.'
She took a deep breath and calmly answered any questions they had.
They all seemed pleased and okay with it all, but for some reason Hitoka felt a murderous aurora around her team! But they all looked normal, 'Maybe I'm just paranoid' She shrugs and goes to fill up the water bottles.
Throughout the day Hitoka felt eyes on her, but she knew that it was because of what happened this morning. But she just focused on her school work and left it alone.
Around 10:30 am, in the middle of 2nd hour, they called the boys volleyball team to the buses along with Hitoka and Kiyoko.
They all head to the bus and get ready to leave.
Hitoka texts Torū and lets him know that she's on her way to Tokyo.
He sends back an "Okay, Love you and be safe! Please get some sleep and text me when you make it to Tokyo!" She smiles at his text.
"Kk! Love you too!" She sends him and turns off her phone before heading to the back of the bus, and sitting next to Sugawara.
"Hey! Gonna sleep too?" He asks while yawning.
She nods, smiling.
They both end up falling asleep.
Hitoka woke up to Suga slightly shaking her awake, "Yacchan it's time to get up, we're almost there."
Hitoka wakes up and yawns, she smiles and nods, "Thank you Suga-Senpai!" She gets up and gets her stuff and gets off the bus.
After she settles in she texts Torū and lets him know that she's there and she's safe. He sends an "Okay, I just got off of school, so I'll text you after practice! Love you Princess!"
She smiles, "Okay, Love you too!" She giggles as she sends the text.
After a couple of days, Torū decides to surprise Hitoka in Tokyo. So he drives down there and waits for a bit before they come outside.
He of course let Coach Ukai know that he was coming to surprise her, and he was fine with it.
Hitoka walked out to go fill the water bottles and saw him waiting by the gym doors, "Torū!" She smiled and hugged him, "You didn't tell me you were coming! I missed you!" She nuzzled into him smiling.
He chuckled a bit, "I missed you too Princess" he hugged her back.
The others heard her yell his name and ran out, "WHAT WAs.. that?" Ukai said and nodded, "I see you made it, come in when you guys are done." He laughed, and shooed the others back into the gym.
Hitoka and Torū laughed a bit and broke the hug, "I wanted to surprise you," He smiled.
"Well I'm glad!"
"And I already talked with your mom and Coach so you can stay here another night, because I set up a date here." He smiled and kissed her.
She kissed back, and then broke the kiss to talk, "Omg Torū you're amazing!" She squealed.
He chuckled and let her go, "Well I better let you get back to your stuff." He smiled while walking into the gym.
She nodded and went back to refilling the water bottles, now with a smile on her face.
When Torū walked into the gym, he knew exactly what was going to happen.
"Oikawa." Dachi turned to him.
"Sawamura." He looks at him.
Bokuto and Kuroo go up next to each other and whisper, "Bro what's happening?"
"I don't know bro" Kuroo whispers back.
"So I think we all know what this is," Hinata said, looking at him with a menacing aura.
"Indeed, Chibi-Chan" He smirks.
"Well then let's skip everything else and go to the important bit, shall we?" Suga says smiling, but having a murderous vibe coming off of him.
The rest of Karasuno nods, Ukai and Takeda also nod, "Okay, then- Torū Oikawa if our little crow cries once about anything you do, your going to end up more than 6 feet under the ground." Dachi said, smiling.
"Make sure she doesn't do anything she doesn't want to." Tanaka and Nishinoya tell him, both looking like they want to stab him
"And that you protect her," Kiyoko and Yamaguchi tell him, also with murderous intent.
"And you don't flirt with other girls." Kageyama tells him sternly.
"One, I wouldn't do anything to make her cry, two, I would never do anything that she doesn't want to, and three and four, I already promised to protect her, and that I wouldn't flirt with any girl, or boy for that matter. " He smiled, and shrugged it off.
"Bro, remind me not to mess with one of them!" He whispered into Kuroos ear.
"Mhmm..You too!" He whispered back, both getting shivers down their spin.
Hitoka comes back in and the mode suddenly changes, "Sorry it took so long guys!" She smiled.
'WHAT THE HELL?!' Both Kuroo and Bokuto thought and stood there dumbfounded.
"Bokuto-Senpai? Kuroo-Senpai? Are you guys alright?" She tilted her head in their direction.
Everyone looked at them, they gulped and nodded, "YEP! JUst wondering when the next practice matches are!" Bokuto said, trying his best to smile.
"YEP EXAtly!" Kuroo nods and smiles.
"Oh okay, well I think there in about 10 minutes." She smiles and sets the waters down.
"Thanks Yacchan!" They said and went back to their teams, still trying to calm down.
'Are they always this weird?' she thinks to herself and then shrugs it off.
Practice resumes while Torū watches them.
Needless to say he wasn't scared of Karasuno, but he did realize that they do resemble a murderous flock of crows..
Hitoka was grateful for everything and was happy with Torū. And that's all that mattered to the others.
A/N: This took a little less then a week to write but please let me know how I did!
But if its not good then I apologize!
