Locke was in his office in the town of Foggybottom, standing at a window that overlooked the town. Next to the window was a large painting of someone close to him, someone by the name of Kaye. He turned to face the painting and his expression changed from its normal, unending hatred, to deep sadness.
Locke went up to the painting and laid his paw on it, lowering his head.
[Locke] Oh, my love, what happened to our lives?
We were blessed, but unsatisfied!
I'm so sorry, for all of my crimes.
I only wish, to be by your side.
In a mansion on the border of Paris.
Kaye sat in her master bedroom, staring at a painting of her true love. A man named Locke who moved far away after her "death" during the collapse.
[Kaye] Oh, my love, I'm sorry for what I did.
I didn't expect, for me to be dead.
We could've been together, mates for life.
I only wish, to be by your side.
Locke walked away from his painting of Kaye, while Kaye did the same with her painting of Locke. they went to their respective pictures of their best day, the day they admitted their love and became mates.
Despite not knowing that they were doing the same thing, and despite their extreme distance from one another, they sang together almost perfectly.
[Locke and Kaye] Come, my love, be one with me!
We shall live on, for all eternity!
We won't be stopped, By neither nature or man!
And our love will bloom, with us hand in hand!
They both paused in their song, and both began crying a little, getting very emotional from singing the song they used to sing to one another.
They began raising the volume of their voice as they sang.
[Locke] Our love will never die!
No matter how much, they try and try!
You are the Kaye, to the Locke of my heart!
I'll never let them, tear us apart!
Locke turned back to the window, staring at the town of Foggybottom with a look of hatred.
Kaye turned toward a nearby window that overlooked the city of Paris. She stared at it with a look of love.
[Kaye] Side by side, we stood with the lie.
Blinded by love, we thought we ne'er would die.
But here we stand, without our lives.
But our love~, will never~, die~.
Locke walked away from the window, and returned to the painting. Tears falling from his eyes while staring at it. He went from borderline yelling the lyrics, filled with emotion, to quietly whispering them.
[Locke] Oh, my love, I'll ne'er forget your name.
I won't move on, this isn't a game.
You'll always be, the love of my life.
I'll find a way, to have you by my side.
Kaye walked away from the window, returning to the painting of Locke. She shed tears staring at it, but nonetheless, continued the song. Just like Locke, lowering her voice to a whisper.
[Kaye] Oh, my love, You'll ne'er be replaced.
One day I'll find you, and we won't be displaced.
Though the collapse, had ruined our life.
I'll find a way, to have you by my side.
The end of the Song of Locke and Kaye.
This was originally apart of 'Ace of Spades' but ended up being cut, I thought that I should release it anyway and maybe make a story dedicated to Locke and Kaye specifically.
If you want to use any of my OCs in your stories, feel free to! I don't mind my OCs being used by other people.
Bye everyone!
