A/N: Hello People and Happy early Christmans to those who read this before actual Christmas! TheWolves1331 here with Chapter 1 of Tale Of A Wanderer: Revamped hope you all like this. Now that that's out of the way let's get this show on the road. Also of note: Their will be graphic scenes that may have but aren't limited to, Gore, Rape, Dismemberment and of course Death.

Chapter One: A Story Retold And Dungeon Diving

Waking up in a location that is not your home after getting drunk can mean many things like you slept over at your friends house, you shambled over to some random hotel in the middle of bum fuck nowhere to crash for the night, or you got ganked on while your on a drunken bender. Mine was answer C for those who didn't know, I went out with some friends and associates after making one of the biggest bulk orders my family's smithy has got for the Renaissance fair.

Wasted a majority of my family's iron and steel on the project but the money we made from it should even out everything and leave each of us with a nice little bonus for a while. Anyways fast forward a couple hours of just drinking and chilling out with several friends and associates and you got a VERY drunk me wandering through my hometown to find a place to sleep. The Last thing I remember was walking by an alley way before I was grabbed and…?!

Place my hands on my body. I felt around my torso for the stab wounds I know I felt when I was grabbed only to find none. Looking around I notice my surroundings: a massive gate in front of me while all around me were different gates all of them with a plaque with from what I could see, a language I didn't know on each and when I thought I knew some of the words they immediately changed into something more alien to my eyes.

A cough from behind was what got my attention next. Turning around I came face to face with an old man wearing an open Hawaiian shirt showing off his well muscled physique and khaki shorts and sandals.

"Hmph took you long enough, youngster." The Old Man said, stroking his beard while his glasses glinted nicely in the light. Before I could speak he rams a glowing orb into my chest causing me to black out all the while the old man chuckles. As I collapse on the ground the old man kicks me through the gate behind me, sending me through as I black out.

Skyrim: Morthal

Waking up to the sound of someone banging their fist on wood I look around briefly in confusion before my wakefulness finally kicks in and my sight focuses, the room looks like a medieval room from a tavern stuck in the Viking age time period.

"Andre! Andre! Wake up you big lug we got work to do!." A voice from behind the door screamed before my said door was opened and a fairly old woman dressed in a blacksmith apron barged in, my brain gave me a name Ashrava, a redguard.

The elderly woman looked to be in her mid to late 40's, tan skin with crows feet beginning to show around her brown eyes that showed a fire that still hasn't gone out, she was somewhat muscular, it comes with the profession of being a craftsman. The blacksmith apron hugged her curves nicely which showed even with her age her body has yet to sag, showing she took care of her body.

Standing up I noticed something different about my body. I was towering over the woman, Ashrava, normally I wouldn't be towering over anyone with my 5 '10 height but I guess whatever that old man did with that old man may be the cause of it…

"Up! Andre, Up! We have orders to fulfill and a quota to meet!" She barked, getting me to blink owlishly for a moment before my brain supplied the details to this body.

This body worked for the blacksmith of Morthal, who gets her jobs and projects from the Jarl Idgrod Ravencrone and the two guard captains, both of which are thanes, Hjall the swift and Eddroud the guile both were as cutthroat as they came and due to this nature they always tried to under pay which evokes the wrath of their Jarl. They really need to stop that but from what this body understands they were pushing for the Jarl to conscript us into service so they wouldn't have to pay us at all, fools, we need the funds to get the materials so we could keep making weapons and armors.

Turning to Ashrava I say "I'll be down in a moment Ashrava, but before that a question, what's the quota?" as she opens her mouth for a retort she looks confused for a moment before it clicks in her head.

Shaking her head she replied "The guards for both shifts need silver edged weapons, the undead in the deep marsh are starting to wander out of their normal area, most likely due to vampires or werewolves moving into the territory." she finished with a hmph as she turned around and went downstairs to the counter to get started.

Getting dressed in a white sleeveless shirt and brown trousers I slip on my leather boots and open my door. The moment I walk through the door I stop when I see something weird in front of me, a bright blue screen, looking around I notice that the area around me has grayed out, looking like something out of an old styled picture book.

Reading the screen I figured out what the old man did and I have mixed feelings about it.

Welcome User #389400! I am your S.G.C.K.! or your System Game Creation Kit if you want the full name!

Now normally we systems were told to not hold your hand through these tutorials but given your circumstance with the Old One he decided to change a few things. Now let us begin with the basics Sir.

After that a new screen showed up making blink owlishly as everything was happening a little too fast for my brain.

Here is the stat page! Here you can monitor your progress with anything you are currently doing with your stats. It seems that the Old One has given you some bonus starting points to get started, if you'd be so kind Mr. Andre, to spend them we can move on to the next part of the tutorial!

Shaking the cobwebs out of my head I look over every stat asking questions on which gives me the most benefits to my profession of a Craftsman as well as my second one The Warrior, which had a different evolutionary line just like my Craftsman. Thinking about it for a bit, I made my decision.

Good! Now that that's out of the way we'll move onto the nextstep of the Tutorial! The combat phase! Beginning transfer process…

…Wait?! WHAT! Before I could do anything I immediately black out.

Waking up to find myself in a lush forest filled to the brim with banditry was not the way I expected things to go. Bloody Hell! I don't even have a bloody weapon to defend myself!

Don't worry Mr. Andre this is all part of the tutorial! Check your [Inventory] for your starting weapon.

Grunting I decided to trust the system for now, holding out my hand I muttered [Inventory] as an Iron short sword appeared in my hand. Looking it over my first profession tells me that it could be made better, that's a given since I could tell that the sword was made from wrought iron.

= Wrought Iron Short Sword: Grade: - F : Rarity: Common =

This told me a lot of things about my 'system'. I'm not gonna lie and say I know nothing about gamer esqe manga seeing as I read the entirety of [Solo Leveling] and the various gamer fanfics I read in my off time when I was working at the forge.

I'm getting ahead of myself here, strapping the sword through my belt. I began my exploration of this place, which doesn't take me too long to find my first couple of opponents.

= Bandit: Lv: 3 =

= Bandit: Lv: 2 =

= Bandit: Lv: 5 =

The first two bandits had yellow colored names while the level five had a orange colored name, which according to the system ment they were 'slightly' more difficult to fight than bandits around my level, still doable just harder to kill. I'm somewhat glad I don't have to worry about freezing up when I kill one of these guys, seeing as how this body had his first kill when he was protecting the shop from a thief and the thief ended up getting run through with a spear.

Approaching slowly I think on how to do this, my second profession The Warrior gives me several ideas to handle the two weaker ones but the level five bandit would probably make this all the harder and with that in mind I made my decision on who to target first.

Sneaking around some trees I reach around the base and find what I'm looking for, acorns, now I know what you're thinking, "Acorns? Why?" well it's for something like this. Hiding behind one of the larger trees, I still don't know how they haven't noticed me yet, I look around the tree and trow one of the acorns at one of the lower leveled bandits, getting his attention and causing him to wander over, the other two don't appear to notice him leaving their conversation. Sneaking around the tree as he passes me looking around I unsheathe my short sword and pounce! Stabbing my sword through the back and out the front of his chest I quickly cover his mouth and drag him around the tree before letting go of my sword and quickly snapping his neck.

Quickly looting his body for any other weapon as mine is currently stuck in the bandit, I take his iron axe and wooden shield, both in poor quality given that the axe has folds along the beard. Before I start creeping closer to the two bandits I take a deep breath to steady myself before I finally make my move, charging forward with a bellow and my shield raised. I noticed I startled the two as my shield collided with the stronger bandit's face knocking him on his back. Swinging my shield arm out I catch the level two bandit's axe as I swing mine and catch him in the ribs, pulling back I bash the level five bandit in the face as he tries to get up, knocking him down once again before I re-engage with the level two.

The level two still tries to fight even though he has an axe in his ribs, dodging the first few strikes I reach out grabbing his arm mid swing before bashing his head in with my shield arm. Taking his axe I throw it at the recovering bandit nailing him in the shoulder before pulling my axe out of his ribs and planting it in his skull, turning to the last bandit I charge, taking him off his feet with a grapple before I slam him into a tree. Stepping back I thrust a kick forward into his chest before I started beating him to death with my fist and shield.

Stepping away from the now brutalized corpse I begin looting the three of anything useful.

Sadly only one of them had a shield and from the looks of it the thing ain't gonna last much longer with the amount of abuse i've given it. After my looting of the bandits and retrieving my sword back, I noticed that my primary profession hadn't gained experience while my secondary did, I guess that explains why I have to professions then, ones for combat while the other is for production. Pulling out the [Bandit Orders] I Immediately get a quest.

Well done Mr. Andre! You have found a quest! Now normally you wouldn't get a quest of this rarity so soon, but as you can see things change. The Old One even made it more interesting for you, you can't leave the dungeon until the quest is complete!

"WHAT!" I screamed at the system in disbelief and some slight terror at the bullshit I'm stuck with. How was I going to complete the quest at my current Level?! And what about Ashrava? I have smithing to do women!

Sorry! But he's my boss and what he says goes, as for your Level check your [Inventory] the Old One left some things in there for you to help you down the line. As for your job, don't worry time is frozen in your world as long as you're in the [Dungeon].

…Gods be damned and praised for small miracles then. Welp! May as well get this done with so I can get back home. Searching my [Inventory] I found what the system was telling me about, two tomes that I immediately used.

Tome of Dwarven Ingenuity: Every aspiring builder has heard of the Dwarves, Craftsmanship of legendary renown that still exists to this day. You who have started their journey down this path have received the knowledge of these Craftsmen. Receive 3 Wis and 1 Int for every Lv gained. (Builder)

The Vikingr's Way: Every aspiring Vikingr knows of the Norse, Odin, Thor, Baldur, Tyr, Freya and the like. You who have begun to walk this path shall be watched and guided to the path of Valhalla. Receive 2 Vig, End, and 3 Str for every Lv gained. (Warrior(Berserker))

Walking to the first camp took me a couple of hours, mostly dealing with several parties of Bandits who's Level's were mixed, but on the good side of things at least I leveled up. The first camp had about nine bandit's in it, each around level four to nine, from regular bandits to bandit crossbowmen but it was the boss of this camp that had my attention.

Call me crazy but from what I can see, is that fucking STEEL?!

…Noted, Target acquired but first the other rabble, most of the bandit's were doing one thing or the other, looking around I noticed that there were several tents around and a plan began to form in my mind.

= Bandit Brigand POV: =

Ever since the Overlords made that alliance things went from good to bad, sure there was no more war between the bandit clans but what was there to do around here! It's why several smaller tribes pulled out of the alliance, to go back to the warring ages of blood feuds where war crimes were just another pastime and you could kill just about whoever looked at you wrong.

Though now that I think about it there was a rumor of several Bandit Chiefs going after the weakest Overlord, but that would be Bawlir, The Drunken Fist. Bawlir, just thinking about that beast of an orc made me shiver, the way that beast became an Overlord was known to every bandit clan out there and what's worse is that he's the weakest! He started like any other bandit, but when he got drunk before the fight he transformed from a regular orc to a killing machine! He slaughtered five, FIVE! Large bandit clans before he went sober and then he found the cursed booze…

The booze itself wasn't really cursed, it was the gourd it was in that was cursed, whoever drinks from the cursed gourd shall always be drunk or so the legend goes. Everyone didn't believe it but…

Then Bawlir found it and soon he was always drunk no matter where he was, Hell even his own clan fear that orc and that says something. Normally when a bandit finds a legendary item the boss of the camp gets the right to claim it and well… Bawlir's chieftain at the time tried that and Bawlir didn't like that. Bawlir killed his chieftain in singles combat before butchering his left and right hand men in his fit of rage before he took over.

So good luck to those small bandit clans, you won't be missed…

…Hey, is it just me or were there more people here earlier?

Before I could contemplate this any further everything went black.

= Andre's POV: Same Time =

Walking around the tents I look at my hands, clutched in my hands were several acorns ready to be used to lure several bandit's over. The plan was simple: try to lure the crossbowmen away and kill them before doing the same to the rest. I'm feeling somewhat lucky given that the Brigand was deep in thought, staring at the fire. The first two crossbowmen fell for it easily enough, what I didn't expect was for the third one to grab a bandit to check with him, I had to improvise and while they creeped closer to the tents I went around and attacked them from behind. Two axes to the head later and four of the nine are dead and with that I moved to the Brigand, the other bandits weren't paying much attention when they saw me, given that I was wearing Bandit fur armor.

Standing behind the brigand I draw my short sword and much to the shock of the bandit's I swing, decapitating the brigand before turning to the remaining bandits. The Bandit's scrambled to their feet as I reached down and grabbed the STEEL war axe from the brigands corpse, wielding it in my left hand and my short sword in my right, I charged into battle.

Dodging a panicked sword thrust I lopped off the first bandit's sword arm before side stepping a bandit's iron mace and stabbing said bandit through the underside of his jaw and out the top of his skull. Pushing him into the bandit with the cut off arm I swung my new axe into a defending bandit's spear, my axe cut through the spear shaft like it was a hot knife through butter, embedding it into his collar bone. As he collapsed I turned to the last bandit who began to flee, shaking my head I pulled out one of the crossbows from my [Inventory] and took aim…

*THUNK*

…And nailed him in the back of the head, reaching down I grab the half spear and stab the one armed bandit through his eye, ending his misery. Gathering the corpses I began looting. More fur armors, bracers, boots and finally a helmet which I equipped, several wrought Iron weapons such as swords, axes and maces. There was the broken spear and three crossbows as well as the crossbow bolts, and finally the steel axe and a decent reinforced shield.

I thrust a spear I pilfered off a corpse through the opening my current opponent just gave me, lodging it into his neck, twisting for good measure. I watched with bored eyes as his life faded out before I began looting the camp I cleared. Pulling up my [Quest] tab I notice I'm half way through the minor camps, shrugging my shoulders. I go over what I learned from the system recently. Apparently the bandits do have health points like me but because I kept going for killing blows or 'critical' as the system calls them their health points don't matter since they normally die when you hit them in one of their soft spots.

That's one part done now it's the next two that i'm not so sure it's going to be as easy as the minor camps seeing as the major camps are massive, hell I could see one in the distance on one of the nearby mountains and from what I see there seems to be some infighting going on. Rushing over I watched as several Bandit Chiefs and their clans attacked one bandit but it was that one bandit that had my attention as his name was pitch black.

"Die Bawlir!" They cried out only for Bawlir to step forward and his arms blurred, and as if instantly their necks all snapped. Surprisingly due to me being in the vicinity I acquired Exp from the Chiefs, soon I watched as Bawlir, one of the Overlords slaughtered the five bandit clans against him, he didn't even let them retreat. Those that tried to run were quickly caught and soon tortured to death. The five Bandit clans which numbered to around one hundred and fifty men were all killed to the last man, from Bandits Mages to Marauders The amount of Exp I acquired was enough to level The Warrior up to level twenty easily. It takes around nine thousand or so Exp to level up The Warrior while my actual level would require around five to six thousand.

Which as you can see gives me quite a bit of points to play around with and since Bawlir just left to return to his camp I have some time to plan on how to kill him.
