Peaceful

This shouldn't be happening.

She shouldn't be crying her heart out in the arms of someone who hurt her. The fact that he's not human doesn't even matter right now.

But Taylor can't stop. She's needed this, been carrying the fear, anxiety and hurt around for days, and she hasn't been able to talk about it. It's been lonely, and she's so tired.

She's aware of Raphael talking, saying it's OK, it's OK, you're safe, I promise, nobody's gonna hurt you, we're not gonna hurt you. When her sobs eventually diminish, he says: "Let's go, OK?" Taylor nods, and he scoops her up and takes her back into the main area. Everything's gone quiet and she doesn't want to look at anyone.

"I want to go to sleep," she murmurs.

He puts her down on one of the sleeping-bags, and within moments she slips into a peaceful rest.
