Paw Patrol X

Land and Sea arc Episode fifteen: It's Up To You

In the Twin Flame Island cemetery, the graves of Blaze and Wave were shown next to each other as a Dalmatian's paw set a daisy on Wave's. F.M. was revealed to be the Dalmatian leaving this daisy, while also sporting an equally fresh new one in her right ear. Marshall knelt down next to her right and put a paw on her shoulder. Margareth stood on her left, both of them being there for her as she said what she had to say. She started off as casually as she could. "Hi mom. Hi dad. I know it's been a solid month since mom's death. I wish I came sooner."

F.M. kept herself from choking as she let her parents know exactly how she felt about this situation. "Mom... I want you to know that I never blamed you for what you did. All you wanted was to keep me safe. And Miranda used that to try and kill both of us." F.M. then looked to her father to let her know she didn't blame him either. "I never blamed you either dad. Yeah the attack that got Miranda's husband killed was kind of your fault, but you still did everything you could to protect this town."

F.M. smiled a bit as she brought up something else that no one else could've predicted. "And no one could've expected you to guess she'd go as far as she did." Marshall held F.M.'s paw as Margareth smiled to her, allowing her to continue her piece. "You two brought out the best in each other. I doubt anyone could miss that. And... you went out as the Canines you wanted to be. A loving father, who would do whatever it took to protect his family... and an equally loving mother, who encouraged us to see the best in others. When it's possible that is."

F.M. smiled a bit more when finishing what she had to say. "And again, I never blamed you. I think for a while, I blamed myself... and I'm still recovering from mom's death... but Marshall, Margareth, and our friends have done an amazing job at helping me with that. And I've been training as hard as I can to avenge you both if Miranda ever comes after us again." Marshall and Margareth looked at F.M. to show that they would do everything to protect her as well. "I love you both. And I miss you both."

The Munroe siblings took a moment to let things sink in. That is... before Coral spoke up at the cemetery entrance. "SHE'S HERE!?" F.M., Marshall, and Margareth took notice to that with all three of them looking back to find a fearful Coral talking on the phone. "Okay, don't worry. I'll be there as soon as I can."

F.M. didn't hesitate in heading over to Coral to see how she could help, which almost surprised Marshall and Margareth. After Coral hung up, F.M. got right to checking in. "What's wrong Coral?"

"Slow down F.M.." Margareth intervened before Coral could explain, still clearly not trusting Coral. "She could've been faking that phone call."

Marshall, who was a little more open minded, tried to remind F.M. of what she could be getting into. "This could be too dangerous for us F.M.. We know what Miranda's capable of; both in manipulation, and in combat."

Coral gave a remorseful expression as she looked at the ground with F.M. looking at her after hearing that. She wasn't about to leave Coral hanging, and she knew Marshall didn't want that either. "I haven't forgotten. But I'm not gonna risk her hurting Coral's friends, or anyone on this island. Or the island itself." Coral looked at F.M., who got right back to seeing how she could help. "What you said makes it clear you have friends on the island. Mind telling me how they got here?"

"Not at all. I'll tell you on the way to the base." Coral informed F.M., and she got right to it as F.M. and Marshall followed her. Margareth came with to keep an eye on Coral, and to hopefully help in case of ambush. "I spent weeks trying to figure out how to help. So I brought some Mer-Pups who started doubting Eve- Miranda, and brought them here to help." It was hard for F.M. and Marshall to fully trust Coral, and especially hard for Margareth. They hoped Coral was telling the truth.

Back home, Rocky was driving Skye and Charm to Dragon's Hamlet with Charm texting Moby on the way there. The text he sent was 'Going back to a village I attacked. Get ready for my cremation.' as a clear joke about the situation. As soon as they got there, Rocky stopped the truck and let them all out. As expected, the dragons who were outside started glaring at Charm, with one even warning him that they were watching him with claw finger movements. Charm leaned over to Rocky with a comment on the situation. "Where's F.M. when you need her?"

Rocky chuckled a bit with Sunshine, who was now ten and a half, revealing himself as he ran over to the three Canines. "Rocky, Skye, hi!"

"Hey Sunshine!" Rocky greeted Sunshine happily, shaking his paw as he directed him to Charm. "I don't think I need to ask if you remember Charm."

Sunshine looked at Charm, who seemed to be on his guard, since he knew why everyone was glaring at him. He laughed a bit as he joked about what Charm was like before. "I sure do. Warn me before you kill someone in town, okay?"

Sunshine laughed a bit with Charm sensing the hidden bitterness behind the joke. Skye stepped in to stop things from getting too heated. "Thanks for helping us find the right gems for my helicopter Sunshine. I hope it's not too unsettling to have Charm here."

"Not at all. I trust F.M. and any of her friends to keep the town safe." Sunshine assured Skye, despite his next comment showing that he was still somewhat bitter towards Charm. "Lets talk more at my house before we head out. Maybe Charm can talk about his favorite dragon slay."

"I'd say cut the crap, but I don't really have a leg to stand on." Charm admitted, despite clearly being annoyed by the jokes.

Skye, Rocky, and Charm followed Sunshine to his house as Rocky tried to help Charm get through his time in Dragon's Hamlet. "You knew this was gonna be the case Charm. We practiced for this. Just don't think too hard about it, and take making things right one dragon at a time."

Charm nodded in response as Skye let Sunshine know something about a good deed he did. "Did we already tell you about how Charm helped save some of our friends after they were turned into demons?"

"Yep. F.M. told me soon after you guys got back from Wolfland!" Sunshine confirmed, showing that despite feeling bitter, he was glad Charm wasn't here to harm. "I can't say I ever expected that." Charm saw what Skye was doing, and while he appreciated it, he wasn't sure how well it would work. He knew two and a half years of being known as a murderer would be hard to help Sunshine get along with him. Especially since this was their first interaction since then.

F.M., Marshall, and Margareth were following Coral somewhere in the Twin Flame Island forest with Coral explaining why she did what she did. "And I felt since she resided in a cave out here, it'd be the best place for the Mer-Pups who were helping me to spy on her."

"That makes sense." Margareth admitted, and then she flinched before realizing what she just said. "Did I just compliment you?"

"Um... I think so." Coral answered, knowing how uncomfortable Margareth was around her. It made her nervous, but she still got ready to reveal her base once she arrived at some big leaves. She put her paws on the bottom of them to lift them all up at once. "Anyway, this is where we made our base." Coral moved the leaves and revealed a small base for her group to reside in. It wasn't very high tech, but it was clear that it was made to keep them hidden. The roof even blended into the area well enough to make it work for at least a while.

F.M. noticed the one piece of tech Coral had, which was a Pup-Phone in the middle of the floor. "Not a lot of stuff to use efficiently here. Is this what you used for your planning board?"

"Yep. We tried to make her chances of spotting us as small as possible." Coral noticed a scorpion lingering and panicked before jumping into Marshall's arms. "AH!" She wrapped her arms around him as the scorpion moved away, and then she realized she was in Marshall's arms. She quickly got down with both of them realizing how awkward it was for them. "Sorry Marshall."

"I-it's fine. We all have our fears." Marshall said, despite feeling as awkward as Coral did about that. He then got to thinking about how the scorpion was tied into the base being spotted. "Actually, that might be how Miranda was able to find your crew mates. She controls scorpions, and some scorpions are small enough to fit into tight gaps."

Coral gained a look of realization after Marshall pointed that out with F.M. knowing where she is. "Snow and I saw her cave once. That has to be where she took them; everyone in town steers clear of it!"

Coral rubbed her arm as she expressed how bad she felt for doing this. "I know it's a lot to ask, especially after what I did to you all." The Munroe siblings looked at Coral, who hoped her request for help wouldn't come off the wrong way. "Would you please help me save them?"

"Planned on it." F.M. assured Coral, smiling as she made it clear she was going to help her. "Just make sure to stay out of the fight. We already have enough captives as is."

Coral nodded as Marshall gave Margareth some instructions to take when heading back. "Margareth, you head to Sid and Arrby's ship and call our friends. We might need backup, and we know we need you save."

"You got it." Margareth took her leave, but not before looking at Coral and making her thoughts on her clear. "I hope I can trust you Coral."

"And I hope I can earn you trust." Coral responded before Margareth took off, and then Coral got to telling F.M. and Marshall more crucial information. "We've gotten twelve Mer-Pups here in the past five days I made this base. There might be more if they managed to spread the word to others in PupLantis."

F.M. punched her fist as she made her desire to save the Mer-Pups very clear. "Then let's get to that bigot's cave and get them safe!"

Marshall also took a moment to let Coral know she was doing good. "And just so you know Coral, this is a good start to earning our trust back. Just remember to keep working towards that." Coral smiled and nodded, glad that she at least managed to make a good first step to regaining the Paw Patrol's trust in her.

Charm and Skye were in Sunshine's house as he got ready to join them on the gem hunt. They took the time for a brief snack, which was roasted chicken. It was more of a meal, but it was lunchtime anyway, so it worked out. Rocky was in the bathroom, so right now, it was just Charm, Skye, and Sunshine. Sunshine looked at his fork and had something on his mind to tell Charm. "Hey Charm. How good is your knife?"

Charm was confused by the question and looked at Charm when he answered bluntly. "Good enough to cut my food. Why?"

Despite Sunshine's smile, the joke he had was quite the dark one. "Because if it's not sharp enough, I have one strong enough to piece through a dragon, like the one you used to slice through that dragon's back, when you came here with that Kishu!"

Sunshine laughed at the joke with Charm awkwardly chuckling as he contemplated how he fell for that. "I should've seen that coming; who asks about silverware?"

Skye could feel the tension in the room and looked around for a good way to keep the peace. She saw a sword Sunshine had stacked up and decided to make conversation with that. "Hey Sunshine. You said your mom let you take up blacksmith lessons, right?" Sunshine nodded his head yes, allowing Skye to continue. "Charm crafts his own blades too. I wonder if you two have, strong opinions about the efforts of making your own weapons, one way or the other."

"You bet it's strong. Palm made swords give you so much freedom for what to do with them!" Sunshine started, already getting into the groove of the topic.

"I have used a blade crafted by someone else a grand total of zero times." Charm stated, knowing exactly where Charm was coming from.

"And don't even get me started on how much more useful they are than guns for me. I can breath fire and fly. I don't need to go long range for weapons."

"I still use guns and I have more fun with blades."

"So who's the guns for? Besides cops of course."

"Obviously for people who don't want to get up close and personal."

Rocky started heading back downstairs as he heard Charm questioning the love for guns. "Or how much attention they get. What is so grandiose about guns anyway? Almost every news show I see mom watch is saying guns this, and guns that, it's all about guns!"

"You know why." Charm gave a sly grin as he made his response. "Guns control the media."

"Straight up fire breath!" Sunshine agreed, and Skye saw Rocky and gave him a thumbs up, glad that her method of keeping things under control worked. Rocky gave a smiling thumbs up back for the same reason.

F.M., Marshall, and Coral were getting close to Miranda's cave, where she seemed to not be around at that time, captured Coral's friends. This was further proven when they arrived at the entrance and looked in. Surely enough, she wasn't around. But there was a mysterious new room in the cave F.M. didn't recall. She figured it had to be where Coral's friends were and let Marshall and Coral know. "That wasn't there last time. Your friends have to be in there Coral."

"I sure hope so. If they're back in PupLantis, we won't be able to get them back." Coral informed the Dalmatians, indicating that Miranda killed traitors quickly and efficiently. The three went over to the door, unaware that Miranda concealed herself with some scorpions while listening in, confirming this easy looking mission to be bait.

Marshall reminded F.M. of such, knowing she'd remember what to do. "Keep on your guard F.M.. This can't be as easy as it looks."

F.M. nodded in response, and then she looked ahead and saw what looked like a portal. She remembered seeing one in a list of devices Rocky had for gadget inspiration. She took her Pup-Phone out and took a picture before sending it to Ryder. "I'm gonna send this to Ryder so he can analyze it. It might be the portal Coral told us about."

"Good call." Marshall assured F.M., and then he realized that Coral had walked off and as a surprise to him, got worried. "We should probably go find Coral."

"Guys! Over here!" Coral announced, showing that finding her wouldn't be an issue. F.M. and Marshall ran over to the far right corner of the base, and there lied the cells Coral's friends. She took a quick moment to apologize for what happened. "I'm so sorry guys. I knew this was a risk and I still brought you here."

"We all did." The first Mer-Pup assured Coral, showing that he wasn't mad at her. "Anything's better than working for that tyrant."

F.M. and Marshall started inspecting the cells with Coral hoping they could get her friends out. F.M. was quick to give them hope. "Don't worry. We're gonna get you guys out of here in no time."

"I wouldn't count on that Flare." The sound of that voice, along with the mention of her deadname, made the identity of this Canine far too obvious. F.M., Marshall, and Coral turned around to find Miranda revealing herself from a wall of scorpions. Once she did, she spawned her trident with a vicious smile and got ready to kill.

Back in Dragon's Hamlet, Charm and the others were now looking for the right gems for Skye's helicopter. As they looked around, Charm picked up what looked familiar to Sunshine. He got an idea and requested the gem with a palm gesture. "Mind if I see it for a second?" Charm handed Sunshine the gem, and he breathed fire on it, and the gem changed from white to red, amazing Charm. "Elemental gem. It changes color with whatever element it touches."

"That's incredible!" Charm responded, taking the gem back as he expressed how amazing change could be. "It's remarkable how something can change into something so different from something so simple."

Sunshine laughed a bit, seeing what Charm was saying there when he looked at him. "Yeah. It really is."

Skye was trying to pull out a really stuck gem, and she had her own theory on why it was so hard to pull out. "The harder they are to pull out, the better armor they'll make!" Skye made one more attempt to pull the gem out of the ground, and Rocky stopped as he saw her struggle. Just as he was about to offer his assistance however, Skye ended up unintentionally releasing...

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

...a loud and bassy ten second fart, making her currently pointed out butt vibrate as she hit Rocky with a green cloud of pork. She blushed bright red and turned around, helping Rocky waft the fart away while giving a nervous smile. "Sorry Rocky. I should not have eaten lunch as fast as I did."

"No problem. At this point, it's team tradition." Rocky joked, making Skye giggle a bit at his jab of always being farted on. Charm and Sunshine couldn't help snickering as well. They clearly saw both sides of the humor in that one.

After being cornered by Miranda in her cave's secret room, F.M. and Marshall readied themselves for battle with Coral staying behind them. F.M. was especially on her guard, knowing she was in more danger than Marshall due to Miranda's bigotry. Miranda showed disappointment in the three Canines, having expected better from them. "That could not have been a more obvious set up for a trap if I'd tried. I know you're far better than that Coral. With me, or against me, you always disappoint me."

Coral still found herself being hurt by Miranda's words, and F.M. and Marshall could see that clearly. F.M. was ready with her knife as she called out a flaw in Miranda's words. "We were ready in case it was a trap! Why do you think I brought my knife!?"

"To use in your kitchen themed cross dressing sessions." Miranda said purely to spite F.M.. F.M. growled in anger as Miranda showed contempt for her. "You never cease to disgust me Flare."

"For what I hope is the last time, it's F.M.!" F.M. stated, despite knowing Miranda wouldn't listen. She wanted to know one more thing before she begun. "Miranda, I have to know why. You could've gotten help, but instead you shut everyone you knew out, and went down this destructive path! Why!?"

Miranda's chuckle after that enraged Marshall, and especially F.M.. "Because after Tucker died... all I've wanted was your family to DIE!" After hearing that, F.M. was confused, shocked, and above all else... angry. Wave's final lesson now rang true inside her mind.

Miranda letting her pain bring her to this insanity... was a choice.

F.M. charged at Miranda without warning, and she was prepared for her with a trident throw. F.M. dodged it however and jumped onto a nearby shelf, punching Miranda in the stomach and then landing an uppercut on her jaw. Miranda used this to her advantage however and backflipped to kick F.M. back. After F.M. regained her balance, she charged at Miranda with Marshall giving Coral further instruction. "Coral, I'm sorry to leave you unguarded, but I have to help F.M.! Look for a way to free your friends!"

"R-right!" Coral obliged, despite being unsure if she could do it. However, just as Marshall was about to charge at Miranda, she surprised them by sending up dozens of scorpions to surround them both.

This sent shivers down Coral's spine, and Marshall noticed this as Miranda mocked their plan from outside. "Did you really think I was going to let you intervene in this battle again!?" Miranda was shown holding F.M.'s knife, only this time, F.M. used her throw to her advantage and formed the fling into her own backflip. This allowed her to rebound, which impressed Miranda. "So you CAN adapt."

Marshall growled in anger and took something out of his Pup-Pack to help him and Coral escape. He saw that Coral was panicking and calmly assured her that she would be safe. "Just try to keep calm and remember Coral. They won't hurt you. Miranda only uses these for traps."

"I know, but... just seeing them reminds me too much of Starfish Cove!" Coral exclaimed, trying her best not to panic with Marshall trying to figure out how to help. He hatched a plan, which involved him humming the melody of the Magic Mermoon song. When he started, Coral heard him and started to calm down. This allowed him to set up the water bomb. He continued humming from the first verse, to the second, and the third. Once he reached the fourth, Coral started breathing normally again. By then, Marshall finished setting the bomb. "Thanks Marshall."

"You're welcome." Marshall replied, despite having to admit that he was a little surprised to have had a tender moment with Coral. At least this soon after Wave's death.

Back in Dragon's Hamlet, Charm and the others were taking the gems they picked back to Skye's helicopter. Sunshine started talking to Skye, curious about why she was getting gems for her helicopter. "Hey Skye? Why do you need gems for your helicopter?"

"You know how dangerous our missions can get, right?" Skye asked, and Sunshine nodded his head yes to confirm that he did. "We've been through plenty of missions where my helicopter could've been destroyed. So I felt upgrading it could make it harder for anyone we go up against to destroy it."

Sunshine got a good look at the gems they gathered, which were all tough and hard to break. He could definitely see why this would benefit Skye's helicopter. "Do you think the others would want something like that too?"

"Maybe. But knowing Chase, he'd want his car to have gems that are tough, AND pretty, so his car can give off good reflections all day." Skye responded, laughing a bit at the joke she made about Chase. "You know one time, he looked at his butt in his car's reflection for ten whole minutes. And he only stopped because he farted on the car."

Sunshine couldn't help snickering at how silly that was. How could Chase be so vain and yet have so many self worth issues? "And he's the one who's always doubting himself and trying to bring people up. Just goes to show that even good people can be into themselves."

Skye giggled a bit before showing that her love for Chase would never falter. "Yeah. And Chase never lets us forget he's a hero."

Charm looked over to Rocky during this conversation while admitting to a thought he had before. "This is going seemingly better than I imagined. I swear I thought my butt would be on fire by now."

"Told ya. Taking it one dragon at a time was the way to go." Rocky responded, and Sunshine happened to overhear what they were talking about. He had his own thoughts about that which were kind of complicated, but he still smiled, as part of them were being glad that Charm was trying to be a good Canine.

F.M. was still battling Miranda back at her base, and she was doing a much better job at handling her trident this time, and she even deflected the fifth strike after dodging four. She then dove down at Miranda, managing to low kick her and sent her to her knee. However, when she tried to follow up with a jumping spin kick, Miranda blocked it just in time. F.M. grabbed her arm after she did and threw herself forward to kick Miranda in the face. After Miranda got sent back a bit by the attack, F.M. lunged at her again, only to get kicked to the side.

F.M. regained her balance with Miranda throwing her trident at her, which she dodged just in time. Miranda predicted her direction however and successfully kicked her up. She then punched her towards the wall, where she proceeded to grab her and pin her to the wall. F.M. took advantage of Miranda's face being close enough and landed a strong right hook. As she did this, the water bomb Marshall set off detonated. He and Coral were splashed, but they managed to recover quickly.

F.M. got thrown to the side and regained her balance, and when she noticed Marshall attempting to rush into battle, she called out. "Marshall, don't!" She then dodge rolled out of Miranda's charging kick, blocking her stomp by grabbing it as she called over again. "Help Coral save her friends!"

"I can't let you fight Miranda by yourself F.M.!" Marshall called out, getting a water bomb ready just in case. "You almost died last time we fought her! You might not make it this time if I wait!"

"I know, but someone has to protect Coral long enough to find the shut off switch!" F.M. called over as she threw Miranda off of her after she spawned her trident. She then got ready to dodge and deflect again once she regained her balance. "Get them out of here first, and then come back for me!"

F.M. blocked Miranda's trident and tried to keep it off of her as Miranda taunted her attempt at being a hero. "You won't have enough time for that Flare! I'll kill your pretentious attempt at evolution before he has any time at all! Then you won't be able to preach change to anyone! Not to Coral, not to your friends, not to ANYONE!"

Marshall was getting a water bomb ready as Coral found the switch, but not before she looked back over to F.M. and Miranda. Having heard her conversation with Marshall, she reminded F.M. of how serious this could be. "F.M., you and your friends could die otherwise!"

"Everyone dies!" F.M. reminded Coral as soon as she pushed the trident back, and then she asked something that hit Coral that much harder as she stared Miranda down. "Shouldn't who they die as be up to them!?"

Coral's eyes opened up that much wider after hearing that. F.M. was right. Just like Skye and Claw were. She was the only one who could choose who she wanted to be. And with this revelation, she felt more inspired to make her own calls. F.M. and Miranda charged at each other with Marshall throwing a water bomb and hitting Miranda right in the face with it. This blinded Miranda, and F.M. took the chance to spin kick her to the side. "Thanks Marshall! Guess I should've said to help with both after all!"

Coral freed her friends as soon as the water bomb hit, and she started guiding them out of the base the best she could. "Hurry everyone! This opening won't last forever; we need every second we can get!" Miranda wiped her eyes with F.M. kicking her back and rushing off with the others, but not before throwing a shelf on top of Miranda to stall her.

Miranda barely caught the shelf before it caught her, and F.M. called over to her once she did. "Let's call this a draw Miranda! Next time, we'll fight until one of us stops moving!"

"That day will come sooner than you think!" Miranda called out once F.M. left the base. "All of your loved ones will die at my paws!"

F.M. and the others escaped the lair and ran as fast as they could until they were away from the base, and the scorpions. After they did, Marshall checked up on everyone to make sure they were unscathed. "Is everyone okay?"

"We're all good." A White Shepherd assured Marshall, despite being a little bummed out about their base. "We'll have to change bases though. Staying there is too risky."

That gave F.M. an idea. Looking at Coral, she started making her an offer. "Ya know Coral, my dad had a base under our house for the defense team he led for this place." Coral looked at F.M. with amazement as she finished her offer. "It'd be perfect for your troops."

Coral was as grateful as could be, shaking F.M.'s paw as she expressed it. "That sounds perfect! Thank you so much!"

"In that case, let's head there now! For the base, and for dinner!" F.M. exclaimed, and then she and the others walked off with F.M. making conversation with the White Shepherd. "Ya know, Marshall and I met another White Shepherd who protected others once."

"Wow! What a coincidence." The White Shepherd stated, showing that he already took a liking to F.M. and Marshall. As expected too, since they just helped save his life.

Later that evening, Sunshine finished heating up the gems with his flame breath just enough to get Skye's helicopter all armored up. He patted the helicopter to show how well of a job he did. "There ya go Skye! One battle ready helicopter just for you!"

Rocky couldn't help admiring the design as Skye looked at the helicopter herself. "Extraordinary! It's almost as if the gems themselves were used for the first design graph!"

"Couldn't have said it better myself." Skye complimented, and then she expressed gratitude to Sunshine. "Thanks a lot Sunshine. It means a lot."

"Anything for a friend!" Sunshine said in response, and then he made an offer to the others before they left. "I'll go get you guys some farewell drinks before you leave. The best flame juice Dragon's Hamlet has to offer!" Sunshine then addressed Charm, showing that he was somewhat happy to see him again. "And it was, actually... nice to see you again Charm." Sunshine headed off to get the drinks with Charm looking to Rocky, who nodded to encourage him to do what was on his mind. Sunshine laughed as he thought about Charm's gun comment. "Guns control the media."

Charm put his paw on Sunshine's shoulder, making him turn around as Charm addressed his past actions. "I didn't just come here to help Skye find those gems Sunshine." Sunshine listened closely with Charm showing immense remorse for his actions. "I did so many horrible things to this place. I almost destroyed it, I killed some of your fellow dragons, I almost killed you, honestly, it's a miracle the worst I got from this town by now is village wide stink eye."

Sunshine looked around and saw that one dragon who was outside was keeping an eye on Charm. "And also extreme caution." Once the dragon went inside, Sunshine pointed out what Charm was doing. "So, you're apologizing."

"Yes. I doubt it will change how you feel about me, but... I'm sorry." Charm apologized, and Sunshine could see how much he meant it.

"Okay." Sunshine responded, and he also gave a response that Charm saw coming, even if calmer than expected. "I don't forgive you."

"I know. I just want you to know that I'm doing everything I can to be better than the Canine I was before." Charm assured Sunshine, showing that it wasn't forgiveness that he sought from him. "And to know if... you're truly fine with being around me."

Sunshine smiled and put a paw on Charm's shoulder to show that even though he couldn't forgive him, they could still be friends. "Hey. Any friend of F.M.'s is a friend of mine." Charm was surprised by that notion, and Sunshine then explained where he was coming from. "Listen Charm. You traumatized me deeply, killed some good friends of mine, and almost destroyed my village. And I can never, forgive you for that." Sunshine showed the utmost sincerity with how he finished. "Despite that, today showed me that, at least as of now, we're capable of being friends."

Charm smiled in response with him and Sunshine shaking paws to declare themselves beginning a friendship. Not out of forgiveness, but out of a desire for it from both sides. Once they released their paws, they let the moment sit for a bit before Charm spoke up again. "So. Crafting blades together is an option?"

Sunshine thought about that for a moment, and his response showed optimism towards the idea. "Yeah. I think it is." Rocky and Skye smiled at each other as they watched Charm and Sunshine talking. And as Charm walked back, he gave Rocky a thumbs up, showing that things went well. Rocky gave a thumbs up back before hugging his brother upon his return to him and Skye. They both had smiled on their faces, showing that they were both satisfied with how things went for both parties.

Charm also looked at Skye and silently mouthed a 'thank you' to her for her peacemaking attempt earlier. It made Skye glad to know that her peacemaking skills were still strong. Perhaps that was part of why she wanted to help Coral re-earn the truth of her friends.

Back in Twin Flame Island, F.M., Marshall, Margareth, Coral, and Coral's group were eating dinner at the Munroe household. F.M. made salmon for all of them, since Sid and Arrby were also there. And since they were, Arrby addressed the team Coral put together. He wanted to know what Coral was planning now that it was assembled. "So does this mean you'll be staying in Blaze's base now?"

"I'm not sure yet. And even if I was, that's up to F.M., Marshall, and Margareth." Coral informed Arrby before taking another bite of her food.

Coral let the food sink in for a moment as Margareth reluctantly, but willingly, allowed her to stay. "We haven't read mom's will yet, but she told me once that she would let us decide what to do with the house." Coral wasn't sure what she meant by that, but it was more clear with what she said next. "Just make sure that if you do stay here, at least for now, we don't talk unless we have to."

"Will do. Thanks." Coral responded, and then she looked to Sid and Arrby for some more words. "And thanks for letting me stay with you Sid and Arrby. Is it okay for me to visit if I stay here?"

"Of course! You're always welcome on the Sid and Arrby sea captain." Sid assured Coral, who was glad to see that her time with them has been spent with positive vibes so far.

Coral was still struggling with indecisiveness, despite currently working on it, and she looked to F.M. and Marshall with a question in mind. "Would it be okay to let you guys know when I make a decision?"

F.M. and Marshall looked to each other before nodding, and Marshall let Coral know what that meant. "That's fine with us. Just make sure to let Margareth know too."

Coral kept that in mind, just like F.M. did with this other thing she knew about from Coral. "Before we leave Coral, since I've been feeling better lately, there's something else I wanted to check up on." Coral gave F.M. her full attention, and what she had to ask her was something she should've seen coming. "Skye told me what you said to her and Snow about Starfish Cove." Coral knew what was coming, and F.M. almost felt bad for asking it. But she had a feeling that this was something Charm and Coral needed. "I think you should talk to Charm about it."

To be continued.

Rock music played as Charm started speaking in regards to what was going to happen with specific moments from the next chapter being shown. "So this is what camping is like. I can certainly see the appeal. Wolfland and Foxcadia have good tastes. Now Coral, what it is you wanted to talk about? Oh, right. Starfish Cove. I was hoping you'd be able to talk about that at some point. I still remember my very worst moments in other places; my worst moment with you should be one too."

Charm finished the announcement with the words Paw Patrol in all blue with red outlines surrounded with a white border with F.M. on the right, and Marshall on the left. "Next time, Starfish Cove! (Chase is shown lifting his butt up and farting on a skunk, which ends up being nasty enough to kill it) Having casual fun seems to be getting harder and harder each day as of late."
