Izuna wanted to move but, his waist is crushed. If he were a normal human, he would've perished right there and then.

Izuna looks at Iruma, who is currently is tending to his wounds.

"Iruma, I'm no doctor, but even I know that some bandages won't cut it. Much less if they're made from grass." Izuna spoke.

"Ah, I'm sorry." Iruma.

"It wasn't something to apologize for, really. You should tend that small cut in your finger, or else, it could get infected." Izuna.

"Ah, right." Iruma.

Iruma was about to put a bandage on his finger but a small droplet of blood escaped his finger. The droplet fell into one of Izuna's open wounds and something amazing happened. Izuna's injuries began to heal, slowly but surely.

Iruma was a little busy tending his finger and didn't notice the miracle that had happened. But Izuna did.

'It seems that Iruma's blood has some sort of healing effect on my body. This means one of two things, one: I'm a demon and human blood heals me or two: Magic exists in this world and Iruma used magic subconsciously.' Izuna deduced.

Iruma looks at Izuna again and it's surprised at his waist and below being completely healed.

"Wow! They did heal! I guess these herbs are quite potent, right?" Iruma.

[Note: Never use wild herbs to treat injuries unless you are a professional herbalist.]

"So, what are you going to do now?" Iruma asked.

"Me? No idea. I've been living all my life as a circus freak; I really can't think of anything to do. Besides, no one would even try to socialize normally with me, I mean, look at me, I look like a demon." Izuna answered.

"Is being a demon something bad?" Iruma asked.

Izuna didn't know what to answer, I mean, from almost every point of view, being a demon meant being a bad guy or in general, someone to never be acquainted with. Izuna didn't know how to answer, but gave an answer nevertheless.

"I guess not? I mean, most religious groups, Animes and Mangas depict demons as hellish creatures that lurk in the netherworld plotting to destroy humanity and whatnot. But I've got not a single thought about that so, I really don't know." Izuna finished.

"Hm… Well, you seem nice enough. Ah, I know! Would you like to stay at my place for a while?" Iruma.

"Really? I mean, not to be rude or anything but, won't your parents get mad for bringing a random, strange, possibly dangerous kid from the streets?" Izuna.

Iruma grips tightly his shorts and Izuna notices that there must be something behind his unease. Izuna decides to not pry into the matter any longer and gets up from the ground with a grunt.

(Note: Shorts like little pants, I'll call the underwear boxers or underwear. Just thought I had to be specific.)

"I…I am alone. Most of the time I'm alone, and mom and dad are nowhere to be found so, it always gets lonely. I'd like to make friends with everyone, even with demons. If they're bad then I'll help them be good." Iruma flashed an innocent smile.

Izuna sees the innocence and Genuity of Iruma's smile and decides to accompany him. Izuna walks towards Iruma and gives him a hug, Iruma is shocked by the sudden display of affection and Izuna speaks.

"It's fine to be sad about something, I've seen and done things that I've deemed unforgivable but, your kindness reached me. Whenever you're sad, come and see me and I'll cheer you up, whenever you're in need of help, call me and I'll lend you a hand. From this moment onward I'll be there for you whenever I'm needed, and even if I'm not, I'll be by your side." Izuna.

Some tears drip from Iruma's eyes and he hugs Izuna. They stay like that for some minutes until their stomachs begin to rumble and ruined the moment.

"Should we eat something at your place?" Izuna asked.

"Yeah! I'll lead you there." Iruma.

[One Year Later]

Izuna has been living with Iruma for a whole year, and it has come to his attention that…Iruma is a complete pushover. He would help anyone in need, he would never deny a request, especially if the words used were "I beg you" and "Please". And he was unexplainably good at evading most, if not any type, of action that would injure him.

Izuna also realized how truly different his body actually is. First of all: He decided to conclude that he's a demon, straight up, Second of all: He's been feeling and using the magic that his body produces but he can only use a miniscule scale of it for some unknown reason, third of all: His body is far stronger than a normal human, so he's been exercising it and taking care of it properly to prevent himself from falling into obesity once again.

Izuna is currently at his makeshift home that he shares with Iruma reading some books that he borrowed from the library. He's also been sharpening his mind in case anything unexpected has happened. Izuna is wearing a thick brown coat with a thick black hat that covers his horns, his tail is hidden in his coat as well.

Iruma enters while holding a book.

"What's that?" Asks Izuna.

"Ah, this is the new Manga that I've been working the past few weeks. It's called 'First Love Memories'" Iruma shows the Manga to Izuna.

"Eh…Never liked the whole romance thingamajig but, the drawing is quite nice." Izuna answered while looking the manga.

"You think so? I'm glad. I was actually the one who draw some of the pages." Iruma.

Izuna immediately takes the book and puts it on a shelf that's filled with all sorts of miscellaneous objects.

"Izuna Nii-san, you should stop putting more weight on that shelf, it will break due to the weight." Iruma.

"But this is one of the many items of extreme value. It must be in full display." Izuna argued.

In this past year, Izuna has become a bro-con and has become a figure akin to a big brother to Iruma. Whenever Iruma was in trouble, he saved him, and whenever Iruma wanted something, he would get it, by somewhat legal means. (Mostly food).

"Nii-san! We don't have any wood left to repair it, or make another one, if this one breaks." Iruma.

"Iruma, sometimes, sacrifices are made for the greater good." Izuna thumbs up his brother.

"Nii-san, I think that only applies if it is for personal gain." Iruma sweatdrops.

The two kids talk about Manga and Izuna realizes that most, if not all, of the Mangas of his past life do not exist in this world. That gave Izuna ideas about publishing some for profit but… he feared the repercussions of becoming too popular and being screwed over by the general public, this could force him into revealing his true appearance and that's a no go of course.

Izuna and Iruma spend the rest of the afternoon talking about the manga and reading about some cooking recipes. Iruma has the bad habit of cooking with everything, even the not edible parts of some plants. Izuna began to understand how hard it would be to help his little brother to fix this quirk of his.

Izuna and Iruma would spend these conditions for the next years of their lives.

[8 Years Later]

On top of an elementary school, a cloaked figure is lying down on the roof while looking at the clouds. The figure is a youngster of 14-15 years old and is wearing a thick worn-out brown robe with olive green pants, he wears a black hat, black shoes and under the robe a white shirt.

It is Izuna.

'Man, thank goodness I managed to talk my way out of getting into school. I mean, Iruma needs the experience, I think. Now that I think about it, aren't I am hypocrite for not doing so? I mean, sure I was bullied and whatnot but, does it really serve as an excuse?' Izuna.

Izuna has been searching for traces of his parents throughout these past 8 years, he would sometimes leave the house he made with Iruma and would venture into the world to look for any clue regarding his parents. In doing so, he managed to create some "spells" to make his life easier.

Izuna also learned some martial arts for self-defense, and even teached some to Iruma for his sake but, Iruma could only perform those in which he wouldn't directly attack someone, only evade or redirect the attack, which in Izuna's book was a win.

Now, you may wonder why our cunning OC is waiting on top of a roof? Because Iruma we'll go every recess to see him. It was the only time of the day when they could speak while being on school, and being the social incompetent he is, Izuna doesn't know how to socialize. And is too afraid to even attempt it.

Iruma reaches the roof and looks for Izuna, only to find the latter lying down on the floor.

"Izuna Nii-san, you should be more careful, what if anyone else saw you?" Iruma asked worried.

"No worries, my senses are way better than any human, I can recognize your footsteps even if you're a hundred miles away." Izuna boasted.

Iruma sighed and put a small basket filled with sandwiches of different toppings and Izuna sat close to him. Both of them began eating slowly to savor their food and Izuna began a conversation.

"So, what are you gonna do in this next free week? Full of part-time jobs? Dating with chicks? Or just some good ol quality time with me remodeling our home?" Izuna asked.

"I'm gonna work in a fishing boat, my parents are short on money and asked me if I could help them making an extra buck." Iruma.

Izuna griped his sandwich and turned it into mush. Izuna HATES Iruma's parents. He knows how clueless, airheaded, brutish, selfishly, pathetic parents they are. He never does a thing due to Iruma's interface but, he's made an oath to send both of them to prison a child abuse charge. He's only waiting for Iruma to be over age and then BAM! Leave the evidence at the police station.

"What about you? will you go on another "trip" throughout the world?" Iruma asked.

These last years, Izuna decided to fly around the world to look for any clue about him and or his parents, sadly, not only has he NOT found anything related about his parents nor trustworthy proof about the netherworld, he was caught by cameras in his younger days, just like a blur of a man with wings but it was enough for the press and some civilians to make their efforts to try to catch him.

"Nah, I have a feeling that thing's are gonna be quite boring the following days. I'll simply lay around in our house and entertain myself reading Manga. Although, if you need help with the ship, I could lend you a hand." Izuna.

"You sure? Ships aren't exactly a place where you can be…you. Remember your part-time job last Halloween?" Iruma.

"Best month and year of my life." Izuna.

"My point is. With your "shape", it would be impossible to keep you undercover with so many people there." Iruma.

"I know, I know, it's just that I have nothing new to do anymore." Izuna.

"I still find it amazing how good you are studying. Given that you told me you never received basic education." Iruma.

"Yeah, studying is easy when you don't worry about homework and go at your own pace." Izuna.

"Why not study something else?" Iruma.

"Mastered most subjects." Izuna.

"Math?"

"Done it."

"Biology?"

"Done it."

"Chemistry?"

"Done it."

"Lenguage?"

"Hecho, aunque me faltan muchos lenguajes europeos debido a que no me gustan." Izuna.

"I have no idea what you said but I'll take it as a yes. Sports?"

"Ace them."

"Cooking?"

"Done it."

"Singing?"

"Yep."

"Writing, drawing?"

"Done and done it."

"Wow, Izuna Nii-san is truly amazing!" Iruma.

"Heh, you're just as amazing. It's just that you spend so much time helping others that you barely have time for yourself." Izuna.

"Hehe, you think so?" Iruma.

Both youngsters kept talking until the recess was over, afterwards, Izuna was once again alone and was thinking about his current life.

'I gave up on my past life due to the deaths of my parents affecting me, in this life, I have a caring younger brother that's nice a bit of a pushover and gentle. As long has he's here, I'll have a reason to live. Well, it's not like something unexpected will happen so…' Izuna thought.

Izuna looks around and then swiftly climbs down the school. He then gets out sneakily to prevent any troublesome situation.

[One week later]

Izuna is currently writing a story in a notebook. It's been a week since Iruma left for his part-time job at the fishing boat. Izuna has been discretely looking after him from the sky, perks of having wings.

Iruma would be returning home today, but something unexpected happened.

'What is this feeling?' Izuna.

Izuna goes out of his home and feels an incredibly powerful pressure coming from the usual route that Iruma's boat takes when fishing. Izuna didn't think twice and flew at high speeds towards Iruma's position.

When he arrived, he could see a strange portal closing up. Izuna didn't know what that portal was or where it led to. BUT HE DIDN'T CARE! He would keep Iruma safe no matter what!

Izuna grabs the portal and tries to pry it open. He infuses all the magic in his body and manages to slip himself inside the portal. He saw a dark world with unusual colors and shapes, he immediately felt Iruma's presence and looked at its direction.

He saw a purple individual with wings and yellow horns transporting Iruma. Izuna immediately flew towards them and tried to attack the being, but he easily stopped Izuna's attacks with little to no effort.

"Leave Iruma alone!" Izuna yelled while pressing on.

He saw Iruma trapped inside a yellow sphere tied up and with a piece of paper with the word "sold" on it. Izuna connected the dots based on the individual's appearance and deducted that he's also a demon, he also realized how rotten Iruma's parents were for selling their own son to a devil.

Izuna's rage was building up but before he could attack the devil, he felt his body cramp. Izuna has never felt anything like that, ever. It was as if his body would explode. He began to lose consciousness as his wings retracted and he began to fall.

The individual signaled Izuna and he was also encapsule in a yellow sphere. The individual saw the somewhat resemblance with Iruma and questioned him.

"Is he the brother you spoke of?" The individual spoke.

"Yeah, he's, my brother!" Iruma.

'A demon, living on earth?' The Demon thought.

The Demon looks at Izuna and looks at how it is convulsing, he puts his palm in his forehead and begins to mumble a spell, the spell makes that Izuna's body stops convulsing and he even looks relaxed.

Izuna recovers quickly from his issue and looks at Iruma.

"IRUMA! I'M GONNA KILL YOUR PARENTS FOR THIS!" Izuna declared.

"C-calm down, Nii-san!" Iruma tried to calm down Izuna, which allowed the Demon take both of them to his house.

[After a few minutes]

"Ahem! I'll present myself once again. My name is Sullivan, a demon. Suzuki Iruma was sold to me from his parents a few minutes ago for some money." Sullivan spoke.

"I'm Suzuki Izuna, I have no idea where I came from but I've been living in the human world for all my life. Iruma-kun is my brother and if you try to hurt him, I'll kill ya." Izuna.

"Um, I'm Suzuki Iruma, nice to meet you." Iruma spoke fearful of the situation.

"Unfortunately for you, I can't allow myself to let this chance slip away. You better prepare yourselves." Sullivan spoke in an intimidating tone while stretching his arms towards Izuna and Iruma.

*POOF*

Iruma and Izuna where put on a comfy chair and were surrounded by tea and snacks.

"Em, what's all this?" Iruma.

"What in the fu-" Izuna.

"AHHH! SO CUTE! To tell you the truth, I've been single all my life but there's always been a dream in my heart, having a grandson. I originally only wanted Iruma-kun for this, but since your cute Nii-san has come as well I got a double prize. Iruma-kun, Izuna-kun, can you two be my grandsons?" Sullivan gets in his knee and grabs their hands gently.

"HUH?!" Izuna/Iruma.

"Wait, what?" Izuna.

"My friends have been boasting since forever about their grandsons and it makes me jealous! I will take care of both of you!" Sullivan.

"Ah, d-do we have…the right to refuse?" Iruma asked.

"Of course, I respect your decisions." Sullivan.

'Iruma refusing, that's a good joke.' Izuna thought.

He looked around and noticed all the luxury around the house.

'In the books that I've read about demons and the netherworld, only the highest-class demons may be summoned by humans, although the chance slim, almost none existent, there were various cases with solid evidence that make me believe in this solution. Now, Iruma's parents sold him and I really want to beat the shit out of them but, Iruma's wellbeing is first so…' Izuna.

Iruma was about to try and deny this request but Sullivan interrupted him.

"But I really want to have a grandson, please be my grandsons please!" Sullivan.

A switch was flipped inside Irma's head and he became unable to go against said request. Iruma looks at his brother with teary eyes and Izuna just sighs.

Both of them sign the contract and Izuna tries to cheer Iruma up.

"I can't *SNIFF* *SNIFF* deny a request." Iruma whined.

"That's just cause you're a good guy. Don't worry, Nii-san will protect you." Izuna reassured Iruma.

"Now then, without further ado…" Sullivan snaps his fingers and Iruma's and Izuna's clothes change.

Iruma is wearing some sort of scholar-like blue uniform with white stripes in the sleeves and shirt collar. Izuna, however, was wearing a variation of the uniform, it is red with orange stripes and spikes on its sleeves.

"Since both of you are now my grandsons, I'll do my very best to give you anything you want and need. Clothes, food and of course…education. I'll be enrolling both of you at the demon school." Sullivan said with a smile.

"Why is my uniform different?" Izuna asked.

"Because I thought it would suit you better. By the way, if anyone finds out that you're a human, they'll most likely eat you." Sullivan says with a smile once again.

{Don't worry, Iruma. I'll kill whoever messes with you.} Izuna whispers to Iruma.

{That's not the problem!} Iruma.

'I know! I don't wanna go to school! I'm trying to keep my composed elder brother appearance but this is too much!' Izuna cried internally.

"I'm glad that you both agreed. Had you not…I would've eaten you for dinner." Sullivan said the first half happy but become even more demon-er on the second half.

{We got lucky.} Iruma whispers to Izuna.

{Totally.} Izuna.
