Field Gamma (Day)

After speaking with the teachers about the threat Team Rocket posed, Dominic joined All Might and the two of them walked toward the testing site, where the other students were waiting.

"I am here to teach you all again!" the man said to the class. "Today will be hero basic training! It feels like I haven't seen you all in a while! Now then, we'll be doing a little race today. Take everything you've learned from your internships and apply them here."

"If we're doing rescue training, shouldn't we be at the USJ?" Iida asked.

"That place is still standing?" Dominic said, surprised. He'd assumed it was destroyed after his last battle there. Large buildings usually exploded after he lost fights near them. Beacon Academy was a prime example of this.

"That facility specializes in natural disasters and post-villain destruction. As I said before, this is a race." All Might clarified. "Behind me is Field Gamma, a testing site made to replicate a labyrinth of factories. Good luck finding your way around. You'll be competing in teams of five and start at different parts of the field. When I give the distress signal, you will all race to it and do what you must to rescue me. Whoever finds me first will win, but please keep the property damage to a minimum." As he said that last sentence, his gaze shifted to Dominic and Bakugo.

'Why's he looking at us?' the blondes wondered simultaneously.

"If those are the rules, then I know who I'll choose as my partner." Dominic said, tossing a Poke Ball into the air. The capsule opened, releasing a bipedal jackal with blue fur and metal spikes coming out of its hands and chest. It wore a brace on its arm similar to the one Charizard had.

"The first group will be Sero, Midoriya, Ashido, Xiao-Long, and Iida." All Might said. "Everyone else, to the observation deck!"

Field Gamma (Day)

The reason Dominic chose Lucario was simple. Its ability to detect aura would help find and get to All Might faster than anyone else.

As soon as the race started, both Trainer and Pokemon shot forward like bullets. It wasn't hard to lock onto All Might's aura, as it was one of the most powerful either of them had ever seen, rivaled only by that of Mega Evolved Pokemon. The two leapt to a nearby rooftop to get a better view of the course. While up there, they were able to see some of their opponents. Midoriya specifically caught Dominic's eye. He wasn't breaking his bones. 'Looks like he managed to take my advice to heart.' the boy thought with a smile. He stretched his arm forward, nodding to Lucario. 'It's only fair that I don't hold back.'

The energy from the Key Stone and Lucarionite gleamed brightly as the Aura Pokemon's form began to change. Its aura spread across the course, bathing everything in its power. The other competitors felt a warm breeze as a result of this.

"Now, use Extreme Speed!" Dominic commanded. Mega Lucario vanished, having moved faster than the eye could track. Grinning, Dominic followed suit by concentrating all his power into the soles of his feet, rocketing him through the factory.

Needless to say, he and Lucario snagged first place. Dominic would later hang the sash he got over his bed as a reminder of his awesomeness.

UA Male Locker Room (Day)

"Man, that was some tough training, huh?" Sero said as the group changed back into their school uniforms.

"You said it. I'm totally beat." Dominic said, laying face-first on the ground. There was also black smoke coming out of his body.

"Xiao-Long, what's wrong with you!?" Iida asked, worried.

"Nothing. I just overexerted myself in the race." the blonde said, giving a weak thumbs-up. "My Quirk is designed for power, not speed. Using too much firepower for too long can temporarily deplete my energy."

"Hey Midoriya, I just hit the jackpot!" Mineta said to the greenette, pulling down a poster. Behind the poster was a nickel-sized hole in the wall. "Someone Shawshanked a hole in the wall! Do you know what's next door?"

"A very angry mouse?" Dominic guessed, still laying down.

Rolling his eyes, Mineta continued. "The girl's locker room! A previous generation has given us a gift we can't turn down!"

"Don't even think about it." Iida said with a glare. "Peeping on them would be criminal!"

"Then you'll have to throw me in solitary confinement because there's no stopping me!" Mineta said as he pressed his eye to the hole. Oddly, he didn't say anything about the girls for a few seconds. "Why's it pitch-black?" he asked. Then, without warning, hundreds of thousands of volts of electricity were sent straight to his face.

"I had a feeling you'd do something like this eventually, so I had Raichu stand guard in the girl's locker room in the event that you did. With their permission of course." Dominic explained, pushing himself off the floor. "Thanks, Raichu! You did a good job."

The sound of Raichu's voice coming through the hole was proof of Dominic's scheme. He walked up to the wall, and closed the hole by filling the empty space with stone.

"That was a powerful attack." Kaminari said, envious.

"Raichu are typically docile, but anger one and you'll find a rather electrifying personality." Dominic said.

"Shocking." Mineta wheezed out, falling to the ground.
