Night 31

The moon is out, and so are six players. They are just counting sheep…except for two, who are wide awake, and far away from the others. The cyborg and the raccoon are back at it again.

Cyrax has his new advantage in hand, for Rocket to see.

"..so you can just dip?" Rocket asks.

"Correct. We need to use this wisely." Cyrax says. "I will be honest: we may need to use it tonight,"

Rockets eyes widen. "That's awesome, but why? We could wait it out."

"That may not be the smartest.."

Rocket sighs. "Then shoot."

The cyborg gives him the rundown. "One of us must win immunity. The other will use the Safety Without Power."

"We'll be leaving Silver out to dry…"

"He'll be the only option for them. He's a gamer, he won't take it personally." The cyborg notes. "By cutting him loose, we'll be at a disadvantage..which we can use to our advantage."

"H-how?"

"The women will have the numbers, and stick out as bigger threats. When our swing votes see this, they'll flip right back to us next round. Guaranteed."

The raccoon's mouth is agape. What did he just hear? "That's a LOOONG shot. What makes you think they'll just go from side to side?"

"They are playing the middle. Samus is sticking around the women, while Montgomery all of a sudden wants to stick with us." The cyborg says, calling out their play. "Samus is rational, I see her flipping when I call out the numbers."

"They could also..NOT flip."

"I'm confident they will. Rational players don't give a trio the numbers." Cyrax explains, but it's not convincing yet.

"You know what happened to the last guy who said that." Rocket calls back. "We don't know if Samus even sees a crack in the three. What if this blows up in our face? Cause I can see that."

"I need one seed." Cyrax counters. "Ask her: would you rather be at the bottom of a five? Or have an even chance with us at four? She will think about it if we have one less."

The raccoon winces. "She's been getting tight with the women. I heard 'em talking about casting when I came from the well."

"She'll cut their throats in a heartbeat. Samus doesn't play with any emotion, she'll dispose of them no matter the promises." Cyrax notes. "It's easy to flip people who don't play with emotion."

Rocket's just frozen. "Uh…huh.."

Rocket: Cyrax is playing a different kinda chess. Addition by subtraction. It's one hell of a long shot, but if this works…I'm not takin' the borg genius to the end. He can go at four, or three, or whatever. He's way too smart to be playing a game like THIS.

The two make their way back to the shelter, where everyone's still out.

"Any questions?" Cyrax asks.

"Yeah, what if we choke at immunity?"

It doesn't take long for the cyborg to answer. "Try again at six."

"If we get there."

"WHEN we get there."

Cyrax: This is a five-day plan. One of my allies are going home, I see the writing on the wall. This is how I'll come out of this stronger…

Cyrax holds up three fingers.

Cyrax: Cut Silver, flip the numbers, and bring my targeted ally deep in the game. Silver's not reliable like Rocket. We'll flip Samus and Monty the next round with ease. With that hero here, they'll always target him in the end. If this plan goes wrong, that's a blunder. I shot too far. If it succeeds? It's one of the smartest plays in Survivor history.

Immunity Challenge

Day 32

"Come on in!"

The eight castaways enter, Daisy with that necklace around her. They spot Jeff and the necklace stand as per usual. The princess knows what's up.

"Here.." she unhooks the necklace and hands it to Jeff. "Thanks." He says, hooking it on the stand.

New day, new challenge. What does Jeff have in store this time?

"Alright. Immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, you're going to spin inside a metal frame, slowly winding a buoy toward you. Once it crosses the line, you'll race through a series of obstacles, collecting a sandbag. Then you'll race to get the sandbag on top of a tall tower."

The return of "Put A Ring On It."

"First player to to so, wins immunity, is safe from tonight's Tribal Council. Losers, will meet me there where one of you will be the next member of the jury." The host explains.

"Alright, we'll draw for spots and get started…"

Everyone's behind their frame, ready for a spin.

"Here we go, for immunity. Survivors ready?"

.

.

.

GO!

They jump in the frame, and rotate for that buoy. Everyone seems to be doing well to start, except for Dark Samus, and Monty.

"Bluuuuu…" That gator's dazed.

What about Samus though?

Dark Samus: I'll spin however long I want. We don't need immunity.

It's a race to see who's buoy crosses first. So far, Li and Cyrax are doing the best, while others like Daisy and Rocket aren't far behind. Silver Sonic and Ulala are doing solid, basically tying for third.

"Yes, you're getting dizzy as you do it. But if you can push past that, immunity's waiting." Jeff narrates.

The dizziness does seem to be hitting some. Monty, Daisy, and Ulala look uncomfortable in there. The buoy race is still close, as a few are close to that line…

Li's buoy crosses first! "Li, you're good!"

While she gets a move on..Cyrax's buoy crosses too! "You're good Cyrax!"

Both players stumble a little as they get to the net. Li does a little dive to cover more ground, but the cyborg's still not far behind. It's a two horse race, but more in the stable are bound to join.

Rocket's buoy crosses the line! "Go on Rocket!" Jeff shouts, and when the raccoon sprints to that net, he practically falls onto it. He's still behind Li and Cyrax, but has a claim to stake.

Daisy's buoy crosses the line! "Go Daisy!" she almost trips leaving the frame, but makes a recovery and heads for that net.

"Half are in the race, the other half getting there!" Jeff calls out.

Li and Cyrax are on the balance beam portion. It zigs and zags, with a sandbag near the end. They take their time on it, for one mistake makes them start over.

Rocket makes his way there, and thanks to his size, is able to crawl on the balance beam. Being on all fours is doing his wonders.

"Rocket with a good strategy.." (Jeff)

Daisy makes her way there, and starts the beam. She teeters at first. "Oh I see how it—" she steps off, and starts over again. That dizziness is a hurdle. She does better the second time, but is still in fourth.

Li gets her sandbag!

Cyrax gets his sandbag!

Rocket gets his sandbag!

Those three make it to the final stage: that tall tower.

While they prepare to throw, Ulala and Silver made progress in the background, and are at that beam.

"RAH!" Silver shouts, causing Ulala to flinch and teeter around.

"Are you trying to throw me off?!"

"Yes."

She tries to brush him off, but he keeps popping up in the corner of her eye.

"RAH!"

She ALMOST trips, falling to her knees..but one leg movement and she's barely hanging on.

"Ulala struggling. A victim of mental warfare." Jeff narrates.

She crawls to the sandbag. That's good. Silver got the lead because of it. That's not good.

Ulala: That's not cool…just because it's legal doesn't make it cool.

Immediate cut to Silver..who's laughing.

Silver Sonic: Hohoho, that was hilarious. Did you see the look on her face?

While those six progress, there's still two others taking to the net. This..doesn't sit right with Jeff. "I expected this from Monty, but not Samus. Maybe it's fatigue, maybe she's just not trying."

Monty gives him the bird.

"Take it out on the net."

Dark Samus just stays quiet the whole time. No care for this little grudge.

Dark Samus: If that gator could spend less time squabbling, and more time strategizing, he wouldn't be at the bottom of the rotten barrel.

Meanwhile, there's five at the end now. Li and Cyrax actually missed their first couple of throws, and had to get their bags back.

Rocket misses!

Daisy misses!

Silver misses!

Li and Cyrax toss at the same time..they miss again!

Rocket, Daisy, and Silver have another go…they miss!

"Accuracy alone isn't going to help you. How much power are you putting in? What's your form?" Jeff, asking the important questions.

It takes a bit longer before anyone can land that one shot. It's just ONE. Eventually, the dry spell comes to an end.

Li, Silver, Daisy, and now Ulala miss their shots, while Cyrax holds his bag. The cyborg turns to the raccoon and nods quickly. Rocket takes this as a free throw, and fires one more shot…

.

.

.

It lands!

"ROCKET WINS INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY!"

"YEAH!" Rocket kicks the tower, and heads for the stand. Jeff grins, unhooking it. "You sound excited."

"I thought it was over. They made one mistake and I snatched it."

Jeff hooks the necklace around him, and the raccoon gets applause from his enemies. Whether some actually mean it or not is up for debate.

Rocket looks at his necklace. "Fits me."

"Congratulations, Rocket. You've got immunity again, can't be voted out at tonight's Tribal Council." He pats him on the back, but has a judgy look towards everyone else. "As for the rest you, there's still Tribal Council tonight, and one of you will be voted out, and the next member of our jury. Head back to camp, I'll see you tonight."

The castaways make the journey back to camp. Rocket can't wipe the smirk off his face, escaping elimination yet again. That leaves Cyrax and Silver Sonic as targets on the machines side.

One woman is happy to choose.

Ulala: Oh yeah, i got a name tonight. It starts with an S, and ends with an R.

Merge Camp

Day 32

Chun-Li, Cyrax, Daisy, Dark Samus, Monty, Rocket, Silver Sonix, and Ulala

The eight get back to camp, and even with those agendas, Rocket still gets his due.

"That's your second one! You're tougher than you look." (Daisy)

"He looks pretty grizzled..but good job." (Ulala)

The raccoon brushes sand off his legs. "Just glad to breathe easy."

In his confessional, he's laying down. The cameras at his level. He looks exhausted.

Rocket: They've been on my ass for two weeks. I'm really popular.

With one big target off the board, there's still a couple more left. Ulala sees this as her chance to do something.

Ulala: Rockets safe? Now we HAVE to get Silver. That really sucks for him. Hee hee hee..he stole the duck, and knocked me off the beam. Let me have my revenge.

It never takes long for strategy to kick up these days.

In the blue, the four women and Monty clean themselves off, and discuss what's next.

"We need to take a shot at Cyrax." Daisy blurts. "He's sneaky, but everyone likes him, and he's strong—like c'mon."

"The advantage…" Li points out.

"Ok. We don't know what it does.."

"We know he's going to play it." She says. "He could have the idol."

"Well what if he holds it?" Daisy questions. "Maybe he's feeling ballsy."

"He's too smart not to."

"Let's ditch Silver." That comes from Ulala, shocker. "We can just get him out without any risk."

"He can still play it on Silver." Li points out. "We don't know where his heads at. No guarantees tonight."

Ulala sighs. "Safer to get Silver."

"Bigger to get Cyrax."

"Come on, Daisy.."

Li cuts in before they can argue again. "Before we even start…" she turns to Samus and Monty. "What about you?"

"It makes no sense to bicker over 'will he, won't he.' Let's vote Silver and be done with it." Samus suggests.

"..but what if Cyrax doesn't play his advantage?" The gator gets a glare under the mask of his ally. "Just sayin'."

"If he's as big of a threat as we think, he will play it."

All this 'Cyrax' talk frustrates Ulala.

Ulala: I'm the only one who doesn't have this resume. Rick and Li are on top, Daisy took out Drax, even Sektor, and now I'm just here and NEED to do something. Can I have this?"

She makes her voice known. "Can we just do Silver? Cyrax doesn't care about him, we'll be fine."

"He's BOLD. When the time comes to save an ally, he'll do it." Samus says, the only one left who knows about the idol problem.

"Ugh..I just don't know why it's so hard?"

Li swims over to her. "We're taking a shot we can't miss."

The evil clone looks on.

Dark Samus: I didn't have to say that..but I need these people confused, conflicted, and contemplating.

Their debate between Cyrax and Silver goes on. From the looks of it, Silver's looking like the target.

Meanwhile, two of their targets, alongside the immunity winner meet in private. Before talking to the swings, they have business themselves.

"I see myself getting their votes, so I have to use my advantage." Cyrax admits.

"That leaves me…" Silver knows what's going on. Rockets immune, Cyrax is basically immune, and now he has to rely on two machines he never trusted.

"Unfortunate..but if Samus and Monty pull through you WILL be safe." The cyborg responds, aware of his disappointment.

Silver shakes his head. "There is no faith in them..but no choice either."

Rocket pats his back. "Two votes. If we don't have 'em…it's been real." He bumps with Silver, who has to face his reality tonight.

"It has."

Silver Sonic: Eliminate my enemy, or eliminate myself. I'm no stranger to trouble. I've been a target ever since I've been here, but through the tribulations I've risen to the final eight. It's what this group has done. Rocket's still here with a target, Cyrax is still here with a target, but tonight one of us will get shot down. If I'm next, one of them will have my vote for the reward.

Silver decides to meet up at the well with Samus and Monty himself.

"Ulala." He names, which leaves Monty scratching his head. "..whaddya want with HER?"

"If they have an idol, Li or Daisy will have it played on themselves. Ulala is like the…" he stops himself. "She's more under the radar."

"What were you about to say?" The clone asks.

"Hm. I can't call anyone weak." Dude got flashbacks to Megatron. Best not to project when you're on that chopping block.

"Voting for her is unorthodox. Li and Daisy are still bigger threats."

"Ulala will slide under the radar, and take advantage of us at the end. I won't let that happen."

Monty just yawns. "Aaahhh…Ulala, got it."

Before Tribal, the sun sets. The swing voters have their torches in hand. They can't reunite with everyone just yet.

"Who ya feelin?" Monty asks.

"Both targets are nonfactors."

"Woooow. You really going to do them dirty? Why am I shocked it's YOU we're talking about."

"I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Why not take out these big threats? Weakening them shouldn't matter when we can betray them." She vents. "The gameplay is at a low."

"That's cool. So…which name?"

"Do you care at all?"

"Look lady I just want a name."

There's four targets on the board, and three if someone's prediction is correct. One of them has to go, and there's nothing they can do about it.

Dark Samus: I'm going to kill him. One of these days…but before that, someone has to go. I could snipe Ulala, blow my cover immediately. Or..I could send Silver home and get the big threats under my finger. Either way, i win.

Tribal Council

Night 32

The castaways enter the Tribal Council set. Jeff's waiting for them in his usual spot at the podium. They've got their torches in hand and hit the fire pit, where they light those babies up.

"Dip your torches in the fire. Fire represents your life, once it's gone…so are you."

They take a seat on the stumps provided and set their torches in those holes. The fifth tribal of the merge is set to begin, and someone's going to be joining Rick, Drax, and Sektor on that jury bench across from them.

When Sektor sees Rocket with the necklace, he stares. "I told them so."

"I love this." Drax responds with a big grin on.

"Of course you do. Bias blinds you."

"There's no bias, he's the best."

"That's definite bias."

"SHHHH." Rick leans forward, waiting for the show to begin.

When Jeff takes a seat, it does. "Alright. A couple votes away, and we're halfway through the merge. Before we get there, we're in the mid-merge phase. This is where you usually see desperation set in, and people start playing for themselves."

Rocket scoffs. "Desperation already set in. Early merge was hell."

That gets a smile from the host. "That's because this specific group of people, want to win. It doesn't matter who's above, on, or under the radar."

Silver adds his piece. "People are already using strategies to get ahead."

"It's funny you say that, because I saw what you did at the challenge." Jeff the instigator. "You threw Ulala off her game, and cost her what could have been immunity."

"We started off on the right foot. The left didn't land well." Silver pulling out the analogy. "If she got that necklace, she could make a big move against me."

"Well after that we're going to fight. Don't start drama you don't want." The reporter says, and the moment Silver turns to her, the jury knows.

"Mistake." (Sektor)

"Cook him." (Drax)

Rick's still observing. He's rooting for his community deep down, but showing bias on the jury puts people in hot water.

Silver is giving it to her. "YOU started this. We were cordial at the reward, but that wasn't enough because you sold me out at the feast."

"I just thought your obsession was weird."

"How so?"

Ulala throws her hands up. "You literally chased him down. I don't know what he said, what he did, any of that, but I said what I said."

"We almost went home against him. If I let him take the idol, one of us would have taken his place. You say it's weird, I say it worked." Silver and his opponent lock eyes. Neither one really feels great about the other, but this tensions been building for a week in a half.

Jeff wants a second opinion. "Daisy, you don't hold back. Who's in the wrong?"

"Oh they're in the RIGHT."

"How can they both be in the right?"

Daisy puts a hand on Ulala. "We all knew this would happen, it's the worst kept secret. She's upset he screwed her over." She puts another on Silver. "He's upset she came for him. It's shitty but they aren't going to the finals together."

"So it's inevitable.."

"Oh yeah. One likes to have fun, talk, and the others stone cold. Fuck the social game. They weren't going to work together. Ever." The princess finishes.

Jeff nods and turns to Li next. "Li, should people put their differences aside at this stage?"

"Only if it benefits them." Li gestures towards Ulala and Silver. "These two have no reason to work together. It won't work out."

The two actually nod in agreement. That bridge isn't here right now. Jeff decides to change the topic by pointing at Rocket. "Rocket, you didn't waste any time talking back. Right when I talked about this part of the game, you said early merge was hell too."

"Because it was. Three people got their hearts crushed."

"I respect the honesty brother. So be honest."

"..you threatening me?"

"Without that necklace, would YOU feel threatened?" The host asks back.

"Yeah, cause they love writing my name. It helps pass the time." Rocket brushes off. "I got the necklace, so it's an off day."

"You won't have many left."

"Ok now you're really threatening me." That gets laughs from the cast. "Are YOU writing my name down?"

"If it's to win the million, you won't complain." Jeff says, getting a smirk from the raccoon. He moves on to the cyborg next. "Cyrax, you are also up for elimination. What if it's you tonight?"

"Then I got outplayed. It's been a journey, Jeff. I started out as a ruthless cyborg, out of touch with his humanity. My time here has given me that touch back, and brought out a better side of myself." He admits.

"Awww…" (Daisy)

Two out of three jurors eat it up.

"Happy for him." (Rick)

"What a warrior." (Drax)

"…" Sektor has an ice stare, freezing his sight on Cyrax.

Back to those left, and Jeff has a smile. "We'll see who's time is up, because it—

"Isn't time to vote." The cyborg gets up, and pulls out that advantage! Nobody's shook because they know he has it, but the contents inside might mess up some plans.

Cyrax LEAVES Tribal Council, and Daisy raises a brow. "Wait what?"

Jeff shows off his advantage. "Cyrax has played Safety without Power. Before he went to vote, he had to hand me this and walk out."

"..soooo can we still write him down?" Daisy asks.

"Nope. He won immunity…but doesn't get to vote, he's waiting for you back at camp." Jeff explains.

Silver whispers to the raccoon. "I might be done…"

"Hang in there…"

Everyone looks back at the host. Cyrax just walking out has caught a few off guard, but there's still a show to get to.

"Oh my gosh…" Ulala whispers. Nows her chance.

Jeff still has that smile on. "I don't know if that threw a wrench in any plans..but it is time to vote. Ulala, you're up first."

She gets to her feet and starts skipping to the booth.

She seems excited, writing down his initials.

Ulala: This is for my duck. Your social game sucks. (S.S)

Silver enters, writing that "U" with no expression.

Silver Sonic: ULALA. (Ulala)

EVERYONE can hear him! Ulala starts giggling, this night is nuts for her.

Silver Sonic: DON'T GET COCKY. YOU COULD FOLLOW ME OUT NEXT.

After voting's done, that's Jeff's call to move.

"I'll go tally the votes…" he goes to retrieve the voting urn. Ulala and Silver watch as he hits the booth. Neither one wants the other to stay, but that's just too bad. There's no redemption twist.

Yet.

Once Jeff fetches that urn, he heads back to the podium, and places it there.

"If anyone has a hidden immunity idol or advantage they'd like to play, now would be the time to do so…"

The targets look at eachother.

"Do you possess an idol?"

"If I did I'd play it."

Nobody fesses up, so Jeff removes the lid, orders that parchment, and reveals one's fate. "First vote…"

.

.

"Ulala."

.

.

"Silver Sonic."

.

.

"Ulala."

.

.

"Silver Sonic."

.

.

.

"Silver Sonic."

The hedgehog just grabs his bag, while Ulala's eyes shoot open.

.

.

"Eleventh person voted out, and the fourth member of our jury: Silver Sonic. Bring me your torch."

He grabs his torch, but before he can meet Jeff, Rocket stops him. "At least you owned Megatron."

The hedgehog…smiles? "I've taken my life into a new direction." He gives Rocket a side hug, and turns to the rest of the cast. "My vote will go to the best player."

Ulala nods. "Can't wait to see the new fit."

"I'd rather be naked."

That's gets a laugh from a few players. Despite that, his fate isn't a joke. Silver sets his torch down, waiting for the snuff. Jeff raises his snuffer.

"Silver Sonic..the tribe has spoken."

SNUFF

"Time for you to go."

He leaves the Tribal Council area. He won his first rivalry, but his last rival had a much stronger backing. Once he's out of view, Jeff turns to those remaining, with some final words. "Someone had to go. One of you should be grateful, others should afraid. Head back fo camp, good night."

Six out of the final seven grab the torches and leave the area, heading into the dark. There's still ways to go until Final Tribal, and someone just added a move to their resume.

Silver Sonic's Final Words

Silver Sonic: Making it thirty-two days is a miracle in itself. Silencing that Decepticon after all he said was satisfying..but tonight's humbling. Maybe Ulala had a point about social game. I never tried much of it because of my habits. She beat me. When it comes to my journey, I wasn't just Metal Sonic, I wasn't a copycat, I wasn't a throwaway…I was me. There's no more time for an identity crisis.

Votes:

Silver Sonic— Ulala, Chun-Li, Daisy, Dark Samus, and Montgomery Gator

Ulala— Silver Sonic and Rocket

Note: Cyrax played his Safety Without Power. He got immunity, went back to camp, but couldn't vote tonight.

19– Megatron

15– Clank

11– Mighty Gazelle

9– Brandon

4– Nabbit, Sackboy

3– Porky Munch

There goes Silver Sonic. He started as an outcast because of Megatron, who saw him as "unworthy," and a "threat" at the same time. Survivor logic. Thanks to Clank and Rocket, he got into a good spot, and was able to beat his enemy, chasing him down and all. His downfall started when he refused to fix his social game. Cyrax had his advantage, and a better past with the women, so that sealed his fate. Seems Dark Samus and Monty didn't want anything to do with him this round.

There's more developments here. Cyrax intentionally cut an ally, so he can get a "guaranteed" 4-3 next time. This depends on how well he can predict Dark Samus and Monty. Will they play into his hand? Or stick it out with the women? Questions to be answered another day.

Next chapter's coming soon, and Lemme tell ya, we're super close to the finale! About ten chapters away actually. Next episode features the aftermath of this vote out, camp life, some players thinking about the end, and the answer to if Cyrax's plan is a bust!

Ticket out, I'll see you there :)
