David had just returned to his apartment after a long day. The events of the past few days, including the confrontation with Death Arms and the emotional conversation with Sakura, had left him both physically and emotionally drained. He was looking forward to a quiet evening of reflection and self-care.

As he entered his apartment, he was met with a surprise that instantly lifted his spirits. There, standing in the middle of his living room, was Sakura, a determined and hopeful smile on her face.

"Surprise!" Sakura exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.

David blinked in astonishment, unable to believe what he was seeing. "Bunny? What are you doing here?"

Sakura stepped forward, her expression filled with warmth and determination. "I've decided to move in with you, Papa. I want to be there for you just like you've been there for me. We can support each other through everything, and you won't be alone anymore."

David was rendered speechless for a moment, his heart swelling with gratitude and surprise. He had never expected this, and the gesture touched him deeply.

"But Bunny, are you sure about this?" David asked, a hint of concern in his voice. "You have your own life at the dorms, and I don't want to disrupt that."

Sakura shook her head. "I've talked to Principal Nezu and some of the others, and they think it's a great idea. Plus, I can still go to school and return to the dorms whenever needed. I want to be here for you, Papa!"

Overwhelmed by Sakura's kindness and determination, David could feel his eyes welling up with tears. "Thank you, Bunny. You have no idea how much this means to me."

They embraced, and in that moment. David had found a caring and compassionate daughter who was determined to support him through the challenges of life. With Sakura's surprise decision to move in with David, their daily lives began to intertwine even more. The transition was surprisingly smooth, as if they had been living together for just a few days. David welcomed Sakura with open arms, and Sakura was eager to be a part of his life in a more profound way.

*Few Weeks later*

After some time the two of them finally synced, after a long day at school and work, they decided to have a "Papa/Daughter dinner date" together. David had prepared a homemade meal, and the savory aroma filled the cozy apartment. The table was set with care, and a soft, warm light bathed the room.

Sakura sat at the table, looking at David with gratitude in her eyes. "This looks amazing, Papa. You really didn't have to go through all this trouble."

David smiled warmly. "Nonsense, Bunny. It's my pleasure. Besides, it's nice to have someone to cook for again." They started with a heartfelt toast, raising their glasses of sparkling cider. "To new beginnings," David proposed.

"To new beginnings," Sakura agreed, clinking her glass against his. As they enjoyed their meal, they shared how their day and reminisced about some of their favorite moments at U.A. Laughter filled the room as they recounted funny anecdotes and discussed the quirks and personalities of their fellow students and heroes.

Sakura couldn't help but be amazed by David's culinary skills. "You're not just a great counselor and a father, you're an excellent cook too!"

David chuckled. "Well, I've had plenty of practice over the years. Cooking has always been a way for me to unwind and relax."

As the evening wore on, their conversation deepened. Sakura felt a sense of belonging she had never experienced before, and David found solace in the presence of someone who had become a daughter to him. After dessert, they cleared the table together, working in harmony as they washed the dishes. It was a simple act, but it symbolized the shared responsibilities and the genuine care they had for each other.

As they finished cleaning up, Sakura turned to David with a smile. "Thank you for this wonderful dinner, Papa." David's heart swelled with affection. "You're welcome, Bunny. I'm grateful every day to have you in my life."

They retired to the living room, cozying up with a cup of tea and a book. The night passed peacefully, a perfect reflection of the newfound warmth and happiness that had settled into their shared life. In that small apartment, under the soft glow of a reading lamp. The peaceful evening was interrupted by an unexpected knock on the door. David and Sakura exchanged puzzled glances before David rose to answer it. When he opened the door, he was greeted by an unexpected sight: Midnight, the sultry and playful hero, and Star and Stripe, the esteemed and respected hero, stood on his doorstep.

"Nem? Star and Stripe, what brings you here?" David asked, a mixture of surprise and curiosity, but fell flat when his eyes sit Star and Stripe.

Midnight stepped forward, her usually playful demeanor replaced by a more serious expression. "We've come to apologize, David."

David furrowed his brow, not entirely sure what had prompted this visit. "Apologize?"

Star and Stripe spoke up, her voice measured and sincere. "We... I was wrong in how I handled the situation with Death Arms and your outburst. We... I should have shown more understanding and empathy, especially given the circumstances."

David was taken aback by their unexpected apology. He had not expected the heroes to seek him out and acknowledge their mistake.

Midnight continued, "We also wanted to apologize for not properly addressing the way Death Arms treated Sakura. We should have intervened sooner." Shame etched on her face. Sakura, who had been sitting quietly, walked out to the entryway with a small, appreciative smile. "Thank you for acknowledging that, Midnight and Star and Stripe. It means a lot."

David nodded in agreement, his suspicion evident in his eyes. "Apology accepted. I understand the pressure and responsibilities you both carry as heroes." Midnight and Star and Stripe visibly relaxed, relieved that their apology had been well-received. at least by one of them.

Midnight then turned to Sakura with a more playful tone. "Sakura, I must say, I'm impressed with how you handled yourself during the mission. You've proven that strength comes in many forms, quirk or no quirk."

Sakura blushed slightly, grateful for the compliment. "Thank you, Aunty. I'll keep working hard to prove that."

As they chatted, the tension from the earlier visit was replaced with a sense of understanding. Midnight and Star and Stripe stayed for a while longer, engaging in a friendly conversation with David and Sakura. Before they left, Star and Stripe addressed David one more time. "David, if you ever need someone to talk to or if there's anything we can do to help, please don't hesitate to reach out."

David smiled, appreciating the offer of support. "Thank you, Star and Stripe. I'll keep that in mind."

As Midnight, Star and Stripe bid their farewells and left the apartment, Midnight was giggling to herself.

"What is so funny?" Star and Stripe asked.

"You forgot to ask for his number." Midnight's giggle turned into a full on laugh, with the realization hitting Star and Stripe.

"...FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!"
