This story got inspired by PhirstDrapht15's Mrs Incredible Venom suit art over at DeviantArt and QuietFox Animation's Helen Parr Venom Transformation. As usual, the characters will be out of character and no guarantee, this will be completed ever. The story takes place after Incredibles 2.
With that said, enjoy.
Chapter 1: The past I want to forget
It was a lovely day in Municiberg, sunny and no clouds in the sky meaning a clear blue sky, perfect for a day on the beach. That's exactly what the Parr family were doing as they parked up near Municiberg beach. Today was not going to be any superhero related activities, just a family having a field day for once.
As they unpacked their stuff and changed into their swim outfits, Dash dashed towards the sea only to be stopped by his mother.
Woho, beachtime! Dash yelled from the top of his lungs as he dashed towards the water. Just then, his mom called out, asking him about the sunscreen.
Dash, have you applied sunscreen? Helen asked her son. Yes, mom, Dash clearly was lying as he couldn't be bothered with the sunscreen. Helen saw through his facade as she gave him a stern look and signed him to come back.
No dipping before taking sunscreen you hear, it's d-.
It's dangerous to my skin, I know mom. Dash interrupted and finished his mom's word in annoyance. Dash walked back grumpy as he grabbed the bottle of sunscreen and started smearing himself with sunscreen.
Unlucky, little brother. Violet mocked her brother. She had already applied sunscreen and pasted by Dash, sticking her tongue out as she ran towards the sea while Dash mumbled how annoying Violet could be at times.
After waiting 20 minutes for the sunscreen to be absorbed into the skin, Dash dashed towards the sea using his powers. Helen warned her son to not use his powers in public. But her words fell on deaf ears as Dash and Violet were busy annoying and playfully throwing water at each other.
Helen sighed. Come on sweetheart, they're young, let them have fun while they still can. Bob, her husband said. Bob, you know I want them to be happy but they gotta be careful using their powers in public.
Even if the ban of superheros were gone, having their alter-egos revealed to the public is a big change; which both Helen and Bob knew too well. She didn't want that for her children.
Helen, I know we know of the risk but we can't keep treating them as kids no matter how hard we try. Besides, it was your idea to go to the beach in the first place so we could take some time off. Bob stated.
I also did say, we would not use our powers today and look what got us. Helen replied. But you're right, we are here to have fun, can't remember the last time, we all spend time like this. Helen said with a nostalgic tone. But keep a close eye on them, Bob. Helen commanded.
You got it. Bob replied as he gave her a salute, playing along and headed towards his kids. Watch out, here comes daddy! Warning them as he leaped into the water, ready to strike in his ball form.
Dad, no! Both yelled. But it was too late as big waves of water pushed them backwards, losing their grip, falling under the water, getting water in their nose. Meanwhile Helen sat beneath the beach umbrella, taking care of Jack-Jack as he was too young and couldn't swim. Helen giggled, seeing her family having fun.
Later in the day, Dash and Bob were building a sand castle while Helen, Violet and Jack-Jack were walking along the beach, looking for shells. Suddenly a seagull appeared and Jack-Jack got curious. Helen felt Jack-Jack was trying to get free but she made sure to have a firm grip. No, Jack.
Hey, mom! Look what I found. Violet reached out to her mom, while pointing at the beautiful shell she found. I'm coming!
Jack-Jack took the chance to escape as his mom was distracted. He teleported out of her grip and began crawling towards the seagull. The seagull moved away from the human, scared what it might do. But Jack-Jack was determined to touch it. The seagull took off into the sky, happy to escape the human but didn't know said creature had superpowers. Jack-Jack teleported himself onto the left leg of the seagull while both were heading towards the deep waters of the sea. Jack-Jack was too heavy for the seagull to carry but then Jack-Jack shrinked, becoming so light, the seagull didn't notice the baby anymore.
That's a beautiful shell, good job Vi. Helen complimenting her own daughter. Suddenly Violet noticed the absence of her youngest brother. Mom, where's Jack-Jack? Violet asked her mom. What do you mean, he's right… here? Helen finished her sentence, suddenly realizing he was missing and panicked.
Both looked around, bobbing their heads as they were trying to find him. Bob, Dash! Have you seen Jack-Jack?! Helen screamed in panic. Dash and Bob dropped what they were doing, realizing one of their own was missing.
As they looked all over the beach, Dash noticed something in the far distance of the sea. Hey look! Dash called out to the rest of the family while pointing towards the sea.
It was Jack-Jack, playing around with the seagull as it tried to shake the human baby off. But Jack-Jack held a firm grip. But as Jack-Jack transformed into different versions of himself, he was beginning to become too heavy for the seagull to carry and slowly was falling to depths of the sea.
The family quickly looked around, ensuring no one was nearby and immediately took action as Helen formed into a slingshot and Bob pulled her back, creating enough tension to slingshot close to Jack-Jack and the seagull location. Violet swung into the air, using her force-field powers to create a force field sphere aa they fell into the water safely. Dash using his super speed, hurried towards where she was and pushed them both back to the beach.
They were all glad to see Jack-Jack safe and sound. Having enough for the day, they decided it was time to head home. As they packed their stuff into the car. Helen saw something that she feared, a black raven bird.
She froze for a moment as unwanted memories flashed before her eyes, memories of a chapter in her life she long thought had forgotten and for the better.
Helen, Helen, HELEN! Bob yelled into her ears. Helen snapped out of her thoughts. Yeah, sorry I'm here. Helen blurting a random response, Helen, we're ready to go. Bob said.
I'll be right there, Helen responded as she looked for the raven but it was gone. Chills down her spine as she thought about it. Helen stepped into the car. You're alright? Bob asked while the kids looked at their mom for a response.
Helen avoided the question by changing the topic. Yeah, I was just thinking what we could eat for dinner, got so caught in it, I lost my train of thought. Helen responded.
The family gave their suggestions as they drove home. As for the raven, it was a sign for bad things to come, especially for Helen as her past is coming back to haunt her.
