The moon illuminated the night sky as the occupant sat on the roof of the house. She lost count of how many nights were spent staring at the moon and the stars of the dark sky. She loved sitting on cool nights during the summer and loved wrapping herself in a blanket while drinking hot cocoa while staring at the moon from inside the house. She did this to reflect on her day and figure out the answers to life.

She brushed aside her curly purple hair as the anxiety kept rising. Currently, she was reflecting on her time here and how much this place meant to her. Good and bad. She was a 13-year-old girl who was still wondering about where her life was moving.

Suddenly, a hand flew up in front of her and landed on the roof. A second later, a boy attached to the arm flew up on the roof and rolled up to her. He was the same age as her and had black hair that was underneath a strawhat with a red ribbon wrapped around it.

A big smile showed up on his face. "I thought I would find you up here. You're always up here. Thinking about leaving tomorrow?"

She sighed. "Yes, Luffy."

His smile dropped quickly. I don't want you to go."

"I don't either, but I already made my decision, and Master agreed on it. I need to leave this place for a while and get stronger out there."

"… Ace will leave in a year… it's going to get lonely around here."

"I'm sorry, brother, but you know why. You'll have Dadan and the bandits. Grandpa will come every now and then…. Right."

"Hmph, all gramps will do is perform his own version of training. Bleh." The young boy stuck his tongue out. "Dadan is not as much fun."

The girl laughed. "Yeah, not as much… "

The boy snorted and crossed his arms. He stared up at the moon, contemplating something. "Anya, I promise I'll find you. Join my crew."

The young girl smiled at the boy. "I said I would join you. No matter what you do. I will be there with you. That's a promise.."

"I will ask you again when I see you." A determined stare melded with his face. "Family sticks together."

"Shishishi, right." The girl grinned

"Shishishi, I'll become a pirate, and then… I'll become the Pirate King."

"I'll support you, Luffy."

Luffy's eyes snapped at the memory that had resurfaced. A memory of a promise made four years ago on the night before she left. He remembered feeling sad for a while after she left before returning to his usual demeanor and training with Ace. Then Ace left, which left him lonely. He occupied it by getting stronger in order to become a free man out at sea once he accomplished his dream.

He realized he was on the figurehead of the ship of the Going Merry, and it was a day after they defeated Arlong. He figured he was daydreaming again. Not a big deal. However, he hadn't thought much about his sister... at least not like that. Something is wrong... or maybe nothing was wrong. He looked around at the rest of the crew. Zoro was sleeping, Nami was arguing with the delivery bird about something, Usopp was tinkering with his science set, and Sanji was standing in front of the orange trees.

He grinned slightly. Must be guarding them in case he tried to eat them. He quickly shot a look at Nami, remembering his crewmate has a sister. He watched her sitting on a folding chair as she looked through the paper. He got down, thinking about what to do.

"Hope you're doing okay. You'll like these guys."

"LUFFY!" He shouted a glance at Nami, who raised a piece of paper. "You have a bounty!"

His eyes widened as a smile curled up on his face. "REALLY! LET ME SEE!"

-Great Forest Island, East Blue.-

This village was a small settlement with a population of 450. Next to the village lay a forest known as the Massacre Forest. Years ago, there was a fight between different military factions that wanted control of this island. The battle raged on in this forest for four days until no one was left standing. The ground is still stained with blood, and some say spirits are still haunting the terrain, looking for a brawl.

The village itself was a farming community with various festivals and celebrations. Not much out of the ordinary happened here.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Except for a loud explosion echoing from the forest. This caused the villagers to smack their foreheads and murmur about 'crazy girl'. One villager ran to the Mayor's house.

He barged in while panting. "MAYOR COME QUICK!"

A middle-aged man looked up from watering his plants and narrowed his eyes. "I know! I know! It was louder than it was 3 hours ago." He set the watering can on the floor and picked himself up. "At least she doesn't do this in a row." He grabbed his hat and left his house. "Ever since that brat came here two weeks ago. It's been nothing, but a chore."

"She really wants to go home, sir."

"DON'T CARE!" The man growled. "There's a reason that forest is dangerous. Only wolves and other feral wildlife."

BOOOOOOOMM!

"Again," He sighed and turned around. "This used to be a quiet village too." The man cried.

A woman frowned. "Why on earth is she using explosives?"

"More importantly." A bald man approached. "Who told her about this treasure in the first place?"

A 15-year-old girl glared at her male companion. "It was this idiot who told her of a treasure there."

"I didn't think she would go." The brown-haired boy rubbed his head.

"She took out a bear that came out one day. The look on her face when facing the beast should've given you a clue." The girl continued scolding the boy. "No normal person would be craving for a fight."

"She'll come out when she's hungry." The mayor crossed his arms. "I wouldn't be surprised if she knew how to make her own meal."

"Actually." spoke a woman. "She said she's camping out."

"WHAAAT?!" Everyone screamed and stared at the woman. "SERIOUSLY!?"

Mayor grumbled. "She can die if she wants to. No one camps out there with those animals roaming about."

"So, we just leave her there to fend for herself?" A thirty-year-old woman said anxiously. "I don't like it."

"MAYOR!" A middle-aged woman came running up to the group. "PIRATES!"

"WHHAAAT!"

-Deep in the forest-

A girl walked back to her tent. She brushed aside the shoulder-length curly purple hair from her purple eyes. Her attire consisted of a purple sleeveless turtleneck shirt with green capri pants. Her hands were covered with purple fingerless leather gloves, and she wore leather steel-toed knee-high purple boots. Over her shirt, she wore a harness that held a 12-inch round shield and a spear. The spear's polearm was red with black stripes and had a 12-inch blade. Embedded on either side of the blade was a kanji.

She snorted and looked at the boxes of explosives in front of her. "Maybe I should try digging… but that would be slow." She tilted her head as she pondered her next move. "Hmm… I wonder if the villagers are mad."

A snap of a twig caused the girl to lift her head up and quickly take out her weapons. She narrowed her eyes at the menacing wolf approaching her. The wolf gave a low growl and then pounced.

She scoffed. "Heel!" She jumped up and delivered a kick. The impact sent the beast flying deep into the forest. She frowned and collapsed on her knees. "You know… I think I'll do more odd jobs… after a month is over."

"Grrr…"

She looked ahead and noticed a pack of wolves growling at her. She groaned and jabbed her spear into the ground. She clenched her fist as her smile grew bigger on her face. "Every time I beat you guys, you always come back for more. When will you mutts give up?"

"ROOOO!" Out of the pack came one that was bigger than the others. This wolf had a scar on its right eye. The girl tilted her head.

"Soooooo… you're the top dog? Heh, heh, top dog. You may be cute, but I can't have you attacking me."

The wolves attacked as she started grinning. "You mutts still want to fight the feistiest female of the East Blue? Come on!"

-East Blue Seas, Red Claw Battleship-

Sailing to the island was a pirate ship coated in red paint. The figurehead was in the shape of a badger of some kind, while the sails and the flag had a sinister red-horned skull with spiky teeth and crossbones with spikes.

The crew members of the ship were all dressed in red, signifying their loyalty to their captain. Each crew member wore a black vest with the pirate mark on the right side near their heart. Another way of saying their hearts belong to the captain. A way of saying he owns them.

Inside the Captain's room, there was a mustache-wearing bald man with a muscular build. Donning a red coat, red pants, and red captain's hat. He had gold trimmings on his coat and black buttons. The man was currently staring at a wanted poster with his beady eyes.

"'Strawhat' Monkey D. Luffy. Worth 30 million beli." He smirked. "I don't know how this kid got that bounty, but I aim to kill him and make myself the highest bastard ever. If Arlong was easy to take out, then I would have done it long ago." He chuckled. "The East Blue will be mine to control."

He struck his knife on the picture and stood up. "Maybe I should find the brat and collect his bounty. This brat got lucky."

Suddenly, the door burst open, and a skinny man wearing torn red pants appeared. He had thick staff equipped on his staff. "Captain Devlin, sorry to disturb you."

"What is it? Are we at the island yet?"

"The lookout spotted it ahead, we'll be ready to dock soon. Orders?

"Orders? We go and find that treasure. Might as well take over the village while we are at it." He chuckled. "How is our guest?"

"Scared, Yoshikido slapped the brat when she mouthed off. Sai got between them and vowed to guard her." The man scratched his throat. "Although Yoshikido punished a few who wanted to molest her."

Devlin growled. "Tell everyone not to touch her. I want her in tip-top shape when we get our ransom demand. If any of them are that weak-willed, tell them I will happily spar with them."

The crewmate shivered at the thought of going one-on-one with the captain. Whoever he chose to spar with ended up injured and took some time to heal from their injuries. He never wanted to be on the other end of the captain's power.

"Aye, Aye."

The captain smirked. "Good, I want her to be aware in case the parents back off. A lesson will be learned that those who make a promise to protect you will sometimes let you down." He chuckled and looked out the window. "We get the money from her family and then the island's treasure." He grinned. "I want that treasure at that island. I might as well massacre the entire town to do it."

"How do we know it exists?"

"Who's to say it'll be easier to locate than One Piece." He smiled. "All thanks to Sai for pointing that out. He toured there during his boxing career." He got up. "Come on, let's organize."

-Forest-

"Achoo!" The female sneezed. She rubbed her nose and looked around at the pile of beaten-up wolves. "I'm getting a bad feeling."

-Port of the island-.

The pirate ship docked near the beach of the island. Devilin was the first to depart; next was Leo, and the next person was a young adult man with two rapiers. He was bald and wore red pants, a red coat, and black boots. He sported a tattoo that said Strength on his forehead, and his brown eyes glared beyond the beach. The last was a middle-aged man with tan skin, donning red pants and red boxing gloves. He had black hair and a nose ring. This was 'Merciless Boxer' Sai. The 4/5 of the 80-member crew joined the captain while the others remained behind to guard the ship.

When Devlin walked forward, the rest of them followed him obediently. While the group was approaching, a little boy peered out from behind a barrel. He curiously gazed at the group of men until he spotted the jolly roger on the hat. Realization hit him, and he ran toward town while screaming about pirates.

Hearing his screaming, the mayor and other townsfolk ran out to hear about the commotion. Upon hearing about the threat, the mayor ordered everyone to barricade themselves indoors except for those who could fight. The mayor decided to stay where he was, believing he could try to make peace with the pirates.

"Mayor, there they are." A teenage boy muttered as he glared ahead.

The mayor looked up and gulped at the group advancing toward them. Those staying behind felt scared, but held their composure. They didn't want the villains to see or sense their fear.

The mayor stepped forward, with an axe in his hand, between the villagers and the pirates. "Hello." He said bravely. "Do you have business on this island?

Devlin gave a sinister smile. "I do. I hear there is a treasure on this island, something that has sparked my curiosity. I believe I should claim it until I feel the need to enter the Grand Line."

"But that is just a myth."

"Perhaps, but even if it is a myth, I still want what's here. So, mayor…" His nails started extending. "Let me show you something interesting."

-Forest-

ERRAAAAAAAAARRR!

The girl looked up from eating her rice ball at the sound of the blood-curdling scream. The scream sounded like it came from the village. "That's no animal." She lowered her eyes and ran toward the village. Once arriving, she hid behind a tree and peeked out. A gasp escaped from her upon seeing some villagers lying around in a pool of their own blood, barely alive. Each of them looked as if something clawed them. She saw the mayor being held by a man with boxing gloves. Analyzing the group, she only recognized the boxer and the man leading the pirates.

"The Fallen Champion, 'Merciless Boxer' Sai… he disappeared two years ago. Why is he aligned with Crimson Claw?" She thought as she gazed at the rest of the crew. "I don't recognize the other two, but the four of them seemed to be able to handle themselves. If it was just Crimson Claw, I could take out his crew and go after him, but those others seem more trouble. I can't take them all out by myself…. I don't want to leave the villagers like this."

She slammed her hand on the rock and backed away. "I need to think up a plan before going after them. The mayor looks like he's in over his head." She gazed back into the forest and rubbed her chin. "I spent time exploring this forest. If I am able to set up traps and use the forest and animals to my advantage, I can take them all out and weaken all of them. I can even use the explosives." She glanced back at the group. "I'm going to do it."

Crimson Claw stared at the men, his men laughing behind him. "DADDY!" He saw a little boy run out with a club. "YOU KILLED HIM!" He raised his club.

"… Leo."

Leo leapt in front of the boy and delivered a good whack with his staff. The boy felt his gut was on fire as he was sent back. The mother came out and tended to her child. Crimson Claw crossed his arms. "You got an interesting place, mayor. If you don't do as we say, we will tear this place apart."

The mayor groaned. "It's about the treasure, I know. What information do you have about it?

Devlin gazed at the forest. "I heard there was a war here where the blood still lingers. That's why people call it the Massacre Forest. Rumors also say they were fighting for something that was buried here centuries ago, something more valuable and precious. It might not be as valuable as any other treasure of legend, but" He turned around to face the mayor. "I will take it. As a bonus, I had abducted a noble girl, and I will use her as leverage to get tons of money from her. With that in hand, I will have the strongest crew in the East Blue before going into the Grand Line. A warship to conquer, men willing to work for their boss. I will easily recruit people under my wing."

Devlin faced his crew and spread his arms apart. "Then I will become 'The Pirate King'. I'll conquer the Grand Line, and everyone will know who I am." He laughed loudly and faced the village. "Now, feed us and give us rest. Who knows how long we'll be in there." He stepped forward. "I assume you don't know the exact location of the treasure?"

"All I know it's in there." The mayor glared. "Buried so well no one will know."

"Good, I love a challenge!"

The purple-haired girl tapped her finger on the tree. "They have a hostage? That's no good!" She crossed her arms and thought about the next possible solution. "Master told me a lot of things and how strategy is important. " She took a step back. "Hmm, I could go back to the forest and set up traps or go to the ship. There might be fewer guys back on the ship." She came to a decision. "Time to raid their ship."

-Strawhats-

Luffy yawned as he sat on the figurehead, looking out into the vast blue ocean. He still had this funny feeling that he shouldn't be leaving just yet. There was one more thing he needed to get: one more crew member. He felt that his sister was still in the East Blue. Was it that twin telepathy Makino had him about? Was this mysterious feeling a connection to his sister? Was she in danger? Could she take care of herself?

"Luffy, you are the man of the family when I'm not here. So keep an eye on her. I would love for you both to follow the same path to be Marines. Other than that, keep her by your side. Family should stick together."

The words from Grandpa suddenly came to mind when he first left him at Dadan. Other than training and being a marine, the old man always instilled that family was important. He needed to find his sister in the East Blue. Could she still be here and not the Grand Line? It will take him a while, but he needed to make a choice right now. He found Usopp tinkering with some tools. "Usopp."

The boy looked up from what he was doing. "Yeah?"

"I need you to look for any islands close by here. Okay? Captain orders."

Usopp blinked in surprise before standing up and climbing toward the lookout. Nami and Zoro looked up from what they were doing and stared at their captain. It was strange he was being this authoritative.

"Nami."

"Yes?"

"Will the wind pick up? If Usopp finds anything, I want the highest speed."

"I can't control the weather."

"I know… I just have a feeling. I want to get there as quickly as possible."

Nami peered at the boy and nodded. "Roger."

Zoro stared at the teen. "Luffy. What's wrong?"

"I'm not leaving East Blue yet, there is one more crew member I want to pick up."

Zoro raised a brow. "Who?"

Luffy frowned. "I have a-."

"LUFFY!" shouted Usopp. "There is an island on the starboard side!"

"Any other island!?" Luffy shouted.

"No, just that one."

"Everyone, we're going to that island."

"Is that where we're picking up that crew member?" Zoro asked.

"Yeah... if I'm right, she'll be there."

"She?" Nami blinked.

"Oi, what's going on?" Sanji asked as he walked out of the cabin.

"The Captain made a decision," Zoro spoke. "We're picking up another crew member."

"Huh?" Sanji gazed at the teen. "Who is this person, and why there?"

"… My sister."

"EHHH?"

"Jackpot!" The purple-haired girl shouted as she came across the ship parked near the port. There was a ladder near the port side of the ship. Her eyes moved to the figurehead on the ship, prompting her to scowl.

"Hmm… they made the badger too scary, but a kitty would look cuter than that." She scoffed and climbed up the ladder to the deck. When stepping off, she was met with 12 crew members. The crew looked flabbergasted upon seeing a girl stepping on the ship with no sense at all. To them, no one in their right mind would willingly step onto a pirate ship.

Seeing the group seemingly startled, she decided to play a joke. She waved them playfully. "Hello! Do you mind if I be your love slave?"

"YESSS!" The men shouted with glee. One of them grinned lecherously. "We prefer women with maturity. You'll do over that little girl!"

"OH…" Her face darkened. "I was only joking, but you do have a hostage? I don't like rapists. I don't like pirates who rape people against their will."

"Hey!." One of them approached her. "We're pirates, but even we have standards. Only mature women. All pirates will rape and pillage to their liking."

"LIAR!" She took out her spear as her face darkened more. "NOT ALL OF THEM! DON'T YOU DARE PUT YOURSELVES IN THE SAME CATEGORY OF SHANKS!"

"RED HAIR!?" They all shouted with gaping looks.

"He was the coolest guy. Do you know him?"

"No, why would we know an Emperor?" One of them grabbed his sword.

"Shanks is a better pirate than you and your stupid boss will ever be." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a pocket watch. "He gave this to me when he left."

"Friend of Shanks?" One of the pirates narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "Why would he care about a little girl?"

"Wouldn't you like to know? I'm not telling any of you why it's ju-zz."

"WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING!?" They shouted as she started sleeping, standing up. She woke up and looked around.

"Huh?" She looked ahead and glared. "You knocked me out and groped me?"

"NO!" They shouted while feeling angry. "You went to sleep yourself!"

"You thought about it!" She charged forward. "I'm rescuing that girl!"

She leaped forward and swung her weapon at the first five guys. The five men yelled in pain after being slashed and fell to the ground. Six of them surrounded her and pounced at her.

"DIE GIRL!" She smiled and spun around on her feet. "Full Moon Spin!" The powerful spin slash cut them across their chests and knocked them off their feet. She stopped spinning and readied herself for the last of them, who were starting to get scared.

"T-this girl… is a monster."

"She's strong like the captain.

"W-who is she?"

"Me? I'm Monkey D. Anya!" she said with a wink.

"MONKEY D. ANYA!" They all shouted. The Crimson Pirates always remembered the names of their rivals. Once they learned about the new bounty, they were told to remember his name in the event they would find him and claim his bounty. What crossed their minds was. 'Is she related to Strawhat?'

A few moments later, the group was knocked out. She chuckled. "They were pushovers, but why were they shocked about my name…. oh no. Could they have found out about Gramps or Luffy-nii." She tapped her foot on the deck. "If it's Grandpappy, then I guess they would think I'm a marine. If It's brother..." She smiled gleefully. "I have to find him and join his crew."

Another man came through the door laughing while another man was behind him. "So I said, 'You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish."

"… funny." He scoffed

"You don't think so." the man growled at the crewmate

"I do!" He glared back

She kicked the lead in the face and then aimed her spear at the other man's face."

"Ah…. When the boss comes back…"

"I'll kick his ass, now tell me." She growled. "Where is that girl?

Moments later, she entered and stood in front of a cabinet after dealing with the leftovers. Her heart raced when the spear user heard crying from the other side. Immediately, the woman opened the door and saw a red-headed girl crying into her knees. Anya's heart saddened for the little girl.

"Please go away."

"…"

"Please…."

Anya got a closer look and noticed multiple cuts on the younger girl's face. The girl raised her head, and the spear user noticed a black eye.

"Who are you?"

"I'm going to free you."

"You're…. not… like them?"

"No, I'm Anya."

"How did… did you get pas..past those guys."

"Their main boss is away, so I took out the grunts." Anya smiled warmly. "I'll take care of him."

"You can't do that." The girl mumbled. "They're tough, strong and dangerous."

Anya gave a soft smile. "No matter how tough and strong they are, I can find a way. I just need the right gear." She squatted down to the little girl's eye level. "I'm Anya, what is your name?"

"Sonya…. I want to see m-m-my p-p-pa-parents." She whimpered as tears rolled down some more.

"I don't know if I can take you back to them, but I will somehow deal with those guys." A thought just occurred. "I promise to deal with those punks, and then we can send out word to the Marines."

"… are all pirates like this?"

"No… in fact." Sonya felt at ease with the smile that this strange girl was radiating. She can trust her. "Let me tell you a story about 'Red Haired' Shanks."

-30 minutes later-

The Going Merry had anchored itself near Crimson Claw's battleship. Luffy insisted on docking near it and going in to ask the captain if they had seen the sister. Usopp had pointed out that someone like him wouldn't tell him, but Luffy still insisted. Once they boarded the other vessel, the crew noticed unconscious bodies lying around the ship.

Zoro analyzed the downed pirates with curiosity. "Someone has been here, and they looked like they were cut."

"Now we don't have to deal with them. Let's go to the island, check for your sister, and then leave." said Usopp

Nami smirked. "We can do some shopping here. How much treasure do they have?"

Luffy stood silent.

"Nothing here, but whoever did this is probably long gone." Sanji muttered.

"err…"

The group looked forward and found one of the members slowly regaining consciousness. Luffy walked forward and squatted. "…" He poked him in the head. "You okay?"

"Yeah…" He growled. "Don't touch me." He smacked his hand away as he looked at his poker. Seeing the familiar boy from the wanted poster caused the man to gasp in shock. "S-STRAWHAT!"

Zoro smiled. "Looks like they already know Luffy."

"I bet he saw the back of my head on the poster as well."

"Whatever Usopp." Nami rolled her eyes.

"W-where is she?"

"Who?" questioned Sanji

"T… Strawhat do you have a female relative?"

"Yeah, my twin sister."

"Wait, she's a twin?" inquired Nami. "You mean someone looks like you?"

"And maybe has his appetite." Sanji muttered. He wondered how much resemblance and personality this girl had shared with the captain. "I think I want another request for the lock."

The guy sweated a little. "S…she… SHE CAME ABOARD AND TOOK US OUT!"

"Shishishi! Really?" He grinned. "She must've gotten stronger since I last saw her."

"So, she did this," Zoro raised a brow with curiosity. "How strong, I wonder?"

"Looks like she took care of you all without any problems." spoke the captain.

"Do you think she's still on the ship or long gone by now?" Usopp inquired.

"I have a feeling she's on here." Luffy still had that grin. "She promised to join me whenever I'm a bounty hunter, marine officer, or pirate." Luffy looked at the door. "She's probably inside, let's go."

Nami smirked. "They probably have treasure here, let's take it."

"That's a great idea, Nami-san~!" Sanji grinned.

"I'll stay up here guarding them." Usopp stood proudly… with fear.

"Eh, I'll stay here too." Zoro looked to the side. "Nothing interesting inside."

"They might have swords." Luffy smiled. "I'll bring them up for ya."

"Thanks."

The group went inside to explore the ship. A kitchen was found immediately, which was stocked with food and liquor. Sanji scowled at the leftover food on the floor and vowed to kick them all for wasting food. Luffy quickly ate all the food, which made Sanji look at him with a deadpan expression.

After departing the kitchen, the group explored the upper ship more, making note of areas of interest in case they wanted something. The group heard a door swing open at the end of the hallway and a barrel flying through the air. Nami screamed as Sanji jumped up and kicked the barrel away. Then, a blur emerged, launching a thrust of a blade at the man. Sanji blocked each thrust before having to defend himself from a powerful kick. His eyes widened in surprise at the foot belonging to the person. A woman with curly purple hair wielding a spear. She glared at him with eyes he found familiar.

"You're not Crimson Claw! Are you with them? Who are you?"

Sanji blinked at the tone of the girl. Her voice was high-pitched despite the venomous tone. The way she glared at him gave off a familiar vibe, and her face was somewhat similar to the captain's. He smirked, knowing who she was. He looked toward his captain, who looked surprised at the female in front of him. He opened his mouth to speak out the name.

"Anya?"

The girl turned her attention to the other man behind the black-suited man. The girl's hardened features soften at the familiar strawhat and finally recognizes the boy's face. Her leg dropped as she turned completely to face the familiar strawhat-wearing boy.

"Luffy?" She squeaked in surprise. Her grip on her weapons dropped as she jumped up and embraced the boy.

"Luffy-nii!" She shouted for joy."

"Anya-nee!" Luffy laughed as he embraced her. "Ha, ha it's been four years since I last saw you."

"YES!" She smiled. "I'm so happy you're here! I thought you were the guys on this ship." She then noticed Nami and Sanji in the room.

"Luffy, are they members of your crew?"

"Yep, that's Nami; she is our navigator. That's Sanji, he is our cook."

"Hello!' Nami greeted.

"A pleasure to meet a fine lady like yourself."

Anya chuckled. "Wow, you sure picked some nice people, Nii-kun."

"Miss Anya!" A small voice cried out.

"OH!" The lancer looked over her shoulder and saw Sonya peering out from around the corner. When she saw the strawhats she yelped and backed away.

"Who are they?" She sounded scared, Nami frowned, as did the men

"They're my friends. That's my brother Luffy. He's a pirate, but he's not like the meanie heads of this ship. It's okay, they won't bite."

Sonya peered out from behind the older girl. After a few seconds, she walked out and bowed.

Nami covered her mouth. "The girl they kept here was…"

"Ten." Anya told. "She's been here for two days." She lowered her head in sadness. "They planned to use her as ransom. I'm kind of surprised they didn't do more." She shivered. "I'm glad she never was about to experience that."

Luffy knew what she was talking about. She was almost on the receiving end of being molested before he and Ace stomped him. He despised stuff like that. Nami went over to hug the girl while Sanji leaned off to the side, watching the scene in front of him.

"Devlin went to town to look for some treasure buried here centuries ago. He attacked the townsfolk and is holding them hostage. I think he has a Devil Fruit due to some of the men having claw marks on them."

"It depends on the Zoan." Sanji lit up another cigarette. "What matters is what we are going to do. Are we going to help out?"

"We'll send him flying."

"I want to fight him, Luffy." She glanced at the girl. "He's holding her and the town hostage. Plus, I want to get that treasure before he gets it… if it exists." She looked back up at the group. "He has three others with him that look strong. One of them is Merciless Boxer Sai."

Sanji and Nami gasped. Nami went ahead. "Him? He disappeared years ago."

"But why would he be with Crimson Claw?" questioned the Chef

"Don't know, don't care." Anya crossed her arms. "I don't like that guy, I don't like how he kidnapped her and destroyed the livelihood of these nice people. Can you help me, Luffy?"

Luffy grinned. "Of course."

"Good." The girl smirked. "First, you can take whatever is on the ship, and then we fight Crimson Pirates." She held up the wanted poster of Devlin. "His name is 'Crimson Claw' Devlin, and he has a bounty of 15,000,000. This guy is brutal and no-nonsense. Wanted Dead or Alive. We take him out, call the marines, and then the people will have enough money to repair the village."

A/N: So, what did you think? I don't like how everyone gives their OC overpowered Devil Fruit powers. Even if the person has a Logia fruit or some super powerful Fruit. Why is it mostly a water fruit? I think Oda is saving that fruit for something else and the Wind Wind Fruit. Besides, why give them an overpowered fruit to OC and not make them struggle.

Look at Sanji and Zoro, they don't need Devil Fruits. I thought about giving her a bird or cat fruit, but decided against it. If I give her one, it will be a weapon that 'eats' one.

I'm putting her in the category with Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. However, it is a fact that Luffy will always be stronger than her. Luffy will defeat the strongest enemies in each arc and will remain that way after this arc. So don't expect Anya to defeat Crocodile, Enel, or Lucci.
