I decided to write a Percy Jackson fanfic. I have read the five books in the series after all. Though there are multiple series in this franchise.

There have been fanfics where the title character becomes a gamer. I figured I would make a fanfic like that. But for the sake of originality I'm making Thalia the gamer. Why Thalia you ask? She's basically a female Percy. So I figured she would be the perfect choice.

I decided to make this a Percy x Thalia fanfic. I could have gone with Percy x Annabeth but I wanted to be a bit more original. Though I do agree with my mother that they are a cute couple.

I hope you enjoy this fanfic. I'm making this PG where other writers went M because I like to make light-hearted fanfics. Though I will admit I have made a few terrifying villains for those fanfics. You'd be surprised where you can find terrifying villains.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this show. I don't think that I make openings this long usually personally. But maybe I'm improving as a writer.

Chapter 1: The Gamer Girl

Thalia and Percy were playing video games together. It had been a week since she had been restored by the power of the Golden Fleece.

It was nice to have a second chance in life.

She would make the most of it.

For now, she would have fun with Percy.

'I have to admit, it's nice having a friend who enjoys everything I like." noted Percy.

"I agree with you. Can't you play video games with Grover though?" questioned Thalia. He was his best friend, after all.

"I can, but he's not as familiar with video games as you are. He is a satyr, after all." spoke the teenage boy.

"True enough." nodded the daughter of Zeus.

Speaking of which, Grover had decided to supply them with some ambrosia.

"Cheers!" exclaimed Grover.

Suddenly, Grover slipped and spilled some ambrosia on Thalia and her controller.

"Whoops! Sorry, guys!" exclaimed Grover.

"It's OK." answered Thalia.

Although, being drenched with the drink of the gods made her feel a bit...strange.

But she felt fine, so it didn't seem like anything she had to worry about.

A few minutes later, Thalia and Percy finished their gaming session.

"I'll be seeing you around." spoke Percy.

"See ya!" exclaimed Thalia.

Suddenly, Thalia saw a message in front of her.

"Welcome to the world of gaming! You are Thalia, daughter of Zeus! You've spent a period of time as a tree. But now you are free to do whatever you want!" read the message.

"Huh?" asked Thalia.

She pinched herself to see if she was there.

Which she was.

"Well, at least that message was friendly." spoke Thalia.

Another message appeared.

Apparently, she was at Level 10.

"Don't you usually start off at Level 1?" asked the girl. That was how most RPGs worked. You have to start somewhere.

"You already have fighting experience!" exclaimed the messenger.

"Seems fair. Do I have stats too?" questioned Thalia. That was a common aspect of RPGs.

"Yes." answered the message.

From the looks of it, her stats were well-rounded. She had a strength of 8, intellect of 7, luck of 8, durability of 9, and agility of 8. She also had 100 HP and 50 MP.

"Is there a level cap?" asked Thalia.

"There is not! The sky is the limit!" bellowed the messenger.

"My dad is the sky god. How ironic." answered the girl.

"That comes with its perks! You can control lightning!" exclaimed the messenger.

"Tell me something I don't know." noted Thalia.

"You should work on leveling up! In the future you shall face a powerful enemy!" shouted the messenger, following her instructions to the letter.

"Good idea. But how do I do that? Do I fight the monsters that Chiron has in the arena? Fight other halfbloods?" questioned Thalia.

"You can also venture into dungeons!" explained the messenger. It was a good way to get experience.

"Dungeons, you say?" asked Thalia.

Curious, she noticed a cavern that was nearby.

She hadn't seen it before.

It was a Level 1 dungeon.

"A level 1 dungeon? That seems too easy for me. But I suppose I'll explore it anyways since it will likely help me get used to this gamer thing." noted Thalia.

She decided to explore the dungeon.

Inside were slimes.

But all they did was tickle her.

"Hahahahaha!" laughed Thalia.

Indeed, this seemed too easy for her.

Even the giant slime that was the boss of the dungeon proved to be little of a challenge.

"I should look for a higher level dungeon." spoke Thalia. Level 1 was too easy.

There was a Level 2 dungeon.

Inside were goblins.

"Goblins? I don't recall them being part of Greek mythology." remarked the girl.

"The Riordan verse has a variety of mythologies!" exclaimed the messenger. Why stop with one when you can do multiple?

"Did you just break the fourth wall?" asked Thalia.

"I sure did!" answered the messenger. The AI thought that was fun.

The goblins did not prove to be a challenge, and neither did the goblin chief. But at least it was more challenging than the slimes.

She continued venturing into dungeons, which followed in level progression. She encountered skeletons, zombies, and hobgoblins.

Eventually, she leveled up.

As such, she got more stat points to spend.

She decided to spend some on luck.

Maybe she would win the lottery that day.

In a Level 5 dungeon she encountered imps.

They tossed fireballs at her.

"Huh. Those actually hurt a bit." noted Thalia.

Her health was down to 90.

But she didn't have to worry too much about her health because there were health potions in treasure chests.

There was also gold in the treasure chests as well.

"I take it there are things I can spend this on?" asked Thalia.

"Sure is!" exclaimed the messenger.

"I'll make sure to do that sometime." noted the girl with black hair.

The boss of the dungeon was a minotaur.

"Didn't Percy face one of these once?" asked Thalia.

"Yes!" confirmed the messenger. It had been a while ago.

"In that case, maybe I can win." noted the girl.

The minotaur charged at her, but she was too fast for him.

Sure enough, she did win. The minotaur dropped a pretty penny as well.

"I'm starting to like this. I'll want to play it safe though. I'm not venturing into dungeons that are above my level." noted Thalia. Her game had already ended once, and she didn't want it to happen again.

"Good call." noted the messenger.

"I wonder who this powerful enemy will be." spoke the girl.

"You'll find out soon enough." answered her guide.

"I should probably tell my friends about this." noted Thalia.

She might be the perfect guardian for their camp.

"Who should I talk to first?" asked the brunette.

She decided to start with Percy.

The two of them got along well, after all. Though they did bicker sometimes. One could say they were a bit too much alike.

"Hey, Percy! You won't guess what happened?" asked Thalia.

"Mr. D has given up drinking?" questioned Percy.

She got a chuckle out of that.

"I'm a gamer girl now!" exclaimed Thalia.

"I already knew that." noted Percy.

"What? Oh. Well, I'm a different kind of gamer girl now." answered the teenage girl.

"You're playing Barbie games?" asked the teenage boy.

Thalia laughed.

"No. I have a strange power now...I have the power to level up and improve my strength." noted the girl.

"Really? I wonder if it has to do with the ambrosia that was spilled on you earlier today." questioned Percy.

"It probably does." answered Thalia.

"Hopefully this will prevent history from repeating itself." noted the teenage boy.

"Maybe." nodded the teenage girl. She knew that people had been upset to see her gone.

Especially Luke.

Maybe if she hadn't been turned into a tree he wouldn't have turned to the dark side.

Suddenly, the messenger told her something.

"You have formed a bond with Percy! You now have access to Healing Rain! Use it whenever you're injured...or on the undead!" exclaimed the messaenger.

"It's that messenger again." noted Thalia.

"How often did he message you?" questioned Percy.

"Pretty often." answered the girl.

He was very helpful though.

Since it was getting late, she decided to go to sleep.

On the subject of Luke, she had a dream about him.

He was holding something up with his hands.

Nearby, she heard a voice.

"Jailbreak, I'm free! I'm free! I'm free as a bird!" exclaimed the voice.

It was a loud and booming voice.

She discovered a bald man was near where Luke was.

He was dressed in black, like she was.

He had a name above his head.

His name was Atlas.

"Where have I heard that name before?" asked Thalia.

She woke up at about 10 AM.

She wondered if it was a dream come true.

So she decided to ask her dad about it.

She turned her head to the sky.

"Hey, dad! I had a dream last night. Did it really happen?" asked Thalia.

Letters appeared in the sky.

"Yes, it did. It seems you have the same ability that Percy Jackson has." noted Zeus.

"Good to know." answered Thalia.

They did have so much in common after all.

"In my dream, I noticed a man named Atlas who had been freed from his prison. Is that a bad thing?" asked Thalia.

"Yes. That is a very bad thing." confirmed her father.

"I hope that Camp Halfblood's days aren't numbered." spoke Thalia.

"I hope so too." answered Zeus.

"By the way, I have a new power...I have the power to level up and become stronger." explained the girl.

"Perhaps this will be of use to you in the future." noted Zeus.

He had worried in the past that one of his sons would have the power to overthrow him. But he hadn't suspected one of his daughters might have that power.

But since her daughter was loyal to him he figured he would be safe.

Perhaps she would have the power to challenge the titans.

Which was good, because the second-strongest titan had been released.

Hopefully he could be recaptured. Atlas was a serious threat.

But it wouldn't be easy.

For now, she would focus on level grinding.

It might also be a good idea to make friends around the camp.

She knew from Percy that she would gain new powers from doing so.

Having more versatility in her arsenal would make it easier for her.

It would make her a less predictable opponent.

She decided to talk to Annabeth.

"Hey, Annabeth. How are you?" asked Thalia.

"I'm doing fine." answered Annabeth.

"Great." spoke the daughter of Zeus.

She too was Level 10.

Thalia noted that perhaps that she should talk to Chiron about what was going on.

Atlas was no doubt a serious threat to the halfbloods.

And he was a threat to the Olympians as well.

She figured it would be best to warn her.

But before that, she checked out the new message that had been sent to her.

"You have formed a bond with Annabeth! You now have a boost to your intellect!" exclaimed the messenger.

"Why doesn't that surprise me? Does intellect increase the power of my lightning and healing rain?" asked Thalia.

"Yes!" answered the guide.

"Great. Time to talk to Chiron." spoke the teenage girl.

Fortunately, he was nearby.

"I've got bad news. Atlas has escaped." spoke Thalia.

"Atlas?! He was second-in-command of the titan army!" exclaimed Chiron.

The Olympians were in a lot of trouble.

It was like in Hercules when the four elemental titans attacked Mount Olympus.

He enjoyed the movie but he wondered why they portrayed Hades as being evil and Zeus as such a good guy.

Though he did admit that Hades was funny in that movie.

"i appreciate you telling me that. I'll make sure that the halfbloods continue their training." spoke Chiron.

Though given how strong Atlas was, he didn't think that they could take on Atlas alone.

They would no doubt need the Olympians' help.

He hoped that this wasn't the end of Camp Halfblood.

At least he knew in advance that Atlas had been released.

Otherwise they could end up being caught by surprise.

Although, he wondered who had decided to free Atlas from his imprisonment.

To his knowledge, the other titans were still in Tartarus, apart from Kronos, who was still regenerating.

Was it Luke? He wasn't sure how he could hold up the sky. It made an anvil seem like a feather.

But considering that he had Kronos for a master, perhaps anything was possible.

Thalia sighed in relief. Perhaps they would stand a fighting chance now that they could prepare for the titan general.

"Have I formed a bond with Chiron?" asked Thalia.

"Yes, you have! You have an increase in intellect!" exclaimed the messenger.

"Didn't I already get one of those?" questioned the teenage girl.

"Alright, how about an increase in agility? He is a centaur, after all." noted Chiron.

"Sounds good to me." answered Thalia.

She had to admit, getting all these new powers felt exciting.

But something told her that she had a long way to go if she wanted to stand a chance against Atlas.

So she was going to keep training and forming bonds with others.

It was the best way for her to get stronger.

She noticed a dungeon that had two stars on it.

"What does that mean?" asked Thalia.

Before, the dungeons had only one star on them.

"It means they are designed for two different gamers." explained the messenger.

"Can I invite other people to play the game?" asked Thalia.

"Yes, you can!" exclaimed the guide.

"I know just the one." answered the girl.

She was going to start with Percy Jackson.

He was the son of Poseidon, so he had a lot of potential on him.

If she had to guess, he was going for a swim.

It would suit him.

"Time to form a party." spoke Thalia.

Uh-oh! It looks like Atlas has been freed at last!

Well, he had been freed once before. But it's on the fence as to how he'll be imprisoned again this time.

In the next chapter, Thalia will see about recruiting other gamers for her cause.

That would be the most efficient way to fight Atlas.
