"Okay, people, we need to tighten this up." Sinjin started. "Trina?"

"What?" The Latina asked back. She was busy on her phone, as usual.

"How are the exercises coming?" The lanky boy pushed.

"God, really?" Jamie wondered. The girl had been a shrugger, and when she joined this club, had discovered a different side of herself, of the founder slash president Sinjin, and just about everyone here. "We all know she didn't do them."

"I did them." Trina insisted. "I just… It feels kinda pointless, what with me being so talented and all…" She smile flashed, and once again Jamie wondered why she'd stuck around this club.

"We agreed you have talent." The girl griped, saying more in this meeting then would escape her lips in all her classes that day. "And like everyone in this club, you need loads and loads of help. Remember, that's the point of this club, to help each other reach what potential we can. It's why we agreed to let Sinjin be the president, cause he needs to work on being a leader, and that includes being able to control his people, and not wazz off Jade."

"You don't need to bring up she who must not be named." Burf grumbled., But he had to agree, the club, the so called self improvement club, had been focused on each and every one of the members perceived weaknesses and strengths, helping them have the best futures possible. However, given their past interactions, the one supposedly unspoken rule, which somehow got spoken all the time, was not to piss off Jade West. "We all know the rule. Now, back to the focus point, Trina did do her practices this week. Me and Sinj made sure. Nothing like accountability. As predicted, there was a small, barely noticeable improvement in her acting. However, I think we may need to bring in an expert…" He glanced apologetically at the president. "That is, an expert who gives a damn, and is willing to help. Sorry, but Beck, he's just too laid back. It's like, he knows how he does it, how he acts, sings, whatever. Yet, try and get him to help you, and he's helpless. I swear, what does the demon born see in him…"

"We tabled that discussion." Sinjin said, showing more authority. It was a slow burn, but the boy was coming along, as close to a success as this club had so far. They'd agreed, despite his skills in back stage stuff, Sinjin made a decent director, just as long as he had someone with vision plotting out his stories. More for the boy to work on.

Trina looked up from her phone. "So, lets talk Fazinnies…"

"NO!" Burf cut her off. "Those are a reward for you succeeding in one of your end goals. I haven't seen you get close…"

"I got cast in a student film." Trina tossed out. "Once it comes out, that'll more than prove I can act."

"Wait, what did you blackmail your sister with this time?" Jamie wondered.

Burf chuckled. "She didn't." The boy said, an evil look on his face. "In retaliation for something she who must not be named did to me, I convinced Lane she needed a punishment that would let her know how bad she'd been. So Jade's short film now has to star Trina Vega. Girls is so gonna get a bad grade…"

"We do not use members as punishment." Sinjin scolded his friend.

"Not any more." Jamie agreed, glancing at the half dozen or so shruggers who'd joined and barely said a word. It was frustrating, because having even Trina and Sinjin there put too much pressure on the shrugger community to do something, and they reacted as they'd done since the beginning of time, by hushing up and reacting. "Who was it who said I should date Nick?"

"Okay, that was a mistake." Burf agreed, glaring at someone in the group. "Now then, I didn't do it just to punish Jade. While I do believe Trina won't succeed, and thus no Fazinnies, there is the possibility that Trina will prove to Jade, one of the better directors at this school, that she can carry whatever role she's been given. However, that alone will not earn her those boots."

"She wanted me to play a rock." Trina admitted. "But the faculty advisor said I needed a bigger role. So Jade wanted me to play a bolder…"

"Figures." Burf said, smirking.

"Jade's so pretty." Sinjin muttered. "Sorry. So, you're playing a bolder?"

"I'm playing a goddess." Trina shot back. "We came up with a short film about lesser known greek goddesses, and I play the goddess of administrative assistance, while she plays the goddess of office management. I know, part of the joke is those two are almost the same thing. We're working on the script…."

"Meaning Jade's working on it." Jamie said.

"Bloodiest office comedy ever." Burf chuckled. "What, it's Jade."

"Anyways, we're gonna gossip and talk about the big gods, even as we do what needs to be done to keep Olympus running." Trina felt good about the idea, because she'd contributed. 'I told her I wanted to play a goddess, and somehow, after enduring half an hour of her mocking me, this came out. So we're playing goddesses. I just hope we have those sexy toga robes and can look good as we try and be funny. Funny is not my strong suite, even if that was the review of each of my last two one woman plays…'

"Okay, as long as she survives, Trina will earn her those shoes." Sinjin noted. "I'm approaching my goal, and will earn my drag race season tickets. Come on, people, we have a LOT of money available, assuming we do what we promised. The foundation…"

"Your parents." Jamie cut in.

"They put in a lot of promissory notes, so lets make them spend that money…" The president finished.

Trina was now engaged. "Jamie, we've been focused on me. How's your goal coming along?"

"What do you care?" The shrugger groaned.

"I'm thinking my sister wants to have Jade's babies, and I need advice from a lesbian." The Latina replied. "So…."

"Not! Gay!" The girl spat. "I just said I want to get better at speaking up for myself. I had a boyfriend. Just, Nick is a jerk…"

"Nick is Nichole." Trina said back. "Please, tell me you remember…"

Nick, from his pace, glared at Trina. "I'm a boy inside."

"Wait, you're a…" Jamie cut herself off. "Right, working on noticing outside my cynicism. Yea, I need work…"

"In your defense, you really do look like a guy like that." Burf offered his help to the trans member of the club.
