fourth down.

"Five more minutes" I mumbled into the soft rock I used as a pillow- that what the humans call it, not me-, tired from a day of nonstop anxiety and work.

It had been two solar cycles since I recovered from my injuries- my Invisibility mod doesn't work properly if I sustain enough damage, an inconvenience really- and made the autobots aware of my presence here on earth, and with the fact that the 'bots could've been up to anything in the past two days, I think I have good reason to be in hiding. I rarely left island now for... reasons- I'm not scared, I don't swear-, my wings didn't work like how they used to as well, neither did my boosters after I used them when my wings didn't work right.

This is getting ridiculous, why should I be hiding when I can turn invisible? It makes no sense, I thought, rolling over. I shouldn't be hiding because of a single encounter that I don't even know the results of.

I got up from my berth- or what counted as it- and walked over to the entrance of the explosive-made cave, the sun glaring at me irritatingly as I looked over to the city of Detroit. I made up my mind there and then that I was done hiding from those who I wanted to be like- it makes no sense, obviously-, and went to the ledge I always jumped off of.

I soared carefree for a while before realizing that I was visible. Quickly vanishing from sight, I took a detour to find a car to scan for an alt. mode, then flew to the bay docks where the autobots repair ship was, transformed, and went below the water. I was soon standing infront of the main door of the ship and, much against my will, began to have second thoughts about confronting the autobots.

Me- a decepticon- waltzing right into a ship with an autobot crew inside of it, what could possibly go wrong? I asked myself, turning into my bipedal form. So many things, but if I wanted to become one of the autobots, I needed to face them... and put the ghost of the past aside if I want to not stir up trouble for myself.

I heard an alarm go off as I stepped over the threshold and began to walk in the direction of the control bridge, looking for autobots. I found the bridge but saw no 'bots anywhere. I then searched the entire ship but found no one.

Where did they all go? I mean, how could five 'bots just leave their ship here at the bottom of Lake something, and not even have a 'bot or two guarding the ship. I pondered for a bit. Perhaps they found a better place for a base, it's a logical reason as to why they've abandoned their ship.

Since when did you care for logic so much?

Oh, shush you.

I walked out of the ship disappointed, I'd hoped to confront the autobots and ask them if I could join their ranks, but it looked like I wouldn't be seeing anybot for anything at the moment. Where would be a place large enough to house five cybertronians and still have enough room to be their base of operations? I thought, bringing up a well-detailed map of the city of Detroit on my HUD. I had mapped out Detroit entirely during my first few months- what else would I had been doing besides housework?- incase I ended up being on the run, now, it served a different purpose- finding things.

Soaring thru the sky invisible, I did a very wide search of the area around the ship site, seeing a few promising buildings. I landed on a couple of the potential buildings, only to find nothing during a search. Upset and a little hungry, I took out a cube of energon from my subspace and began to nibble at it slowly. Once I was done, I flew to the last possible place where the autobots could be. I landed carefully on the roof, I wanted to see the 'bots on my own terms, not on theirs. I heard voices and listened.

"-And then he said-" somebot was saying before they got interrupted by another bot.

"Can't you see I'm trying to meditate here Bumblebee?" An irritated voice said. I recognized this autobots' voice, it was the same one who got swallowed by that... thing. I shivered at the memory- I mean cold.

Looking around the rooftop, I saw a random ventilation vent and found a way to get in without making lots of noise in the process. I climbed thru the seemingly stable vent, accidentally making a loud noise from time to time. I crossed several vent covers and almost sneezed- in my defense, there is so much dust that it's as if these vents had never been cleaned before- more times than I had digits to counts.

As I was crawling over a vent cover, it dislodged and my legs fell thru, the cover clattering extremely loud on the floor. I heard several cybertronians running towards where I was and tried to haul myself back into the vent system, however, I couldn't hold on and ended up falling down onto the very hard concrete floor on my aft.

I looked up and saw the entire group of autobots looking at me with their weapons drawn and ready to fight.

Great, what now? You've gotten yourself into this amazing mess, now how are you going to get out?

Simple.

"Um, hi?" I said, raising my servos up over my helm.
