For those who've not followed this series since the beginning, Demi's character was in the first story, "The Curse of the Succubus."

In that story, she was the unwilling host of the succubus and has been in recovery since the ordeal. So that's where she's from.

After mobilizing everything and every one the Moon Kingdom had, Chibiusa recalled something, "Mom, how are we going to warn the rest of the kingdom about the invasion?"

"I'm not sure the people will need to worry, as all Lucius wants is Simone." Neo-Queen Serenity explained, her blue eyes still shining in concern.

As is usual with Christen, she ran around, making final checks on her group's wellness and supplies, while yelling in a chilling voice, "The British are coming, the British are coming, we are doomed!"

Even Alexis, who is easily spooked, found this childish, and considering they had ACTUAL children (Amazoness Quartet and Simone) around, this antic seemed even more immature. At one meeting, which they could all attend...

"How can we be sure of how Lucius will attack next?" Gracie thought out loud.

"Wait a minute...that's it!" Jewel hollered in excitement.

As expected, a handful of the people jumped, startled at this outburst.

"Princess, you really must control your enthusiasm," Star advised.

"Sorry." Jewel gave an apologetic grimace.

"What's your idea, Jewel?" Crystal asked.

"Paul Revere used lights to warn people where the British would invade from: "One if by land, two if by sea."We can replicate it." Though enthusiastic, the former Dark Kingdom Princess explained that she tried to simmer down.

"We would need, at least, four lights." Shadow pointed out that she thought this would be an issue.

"I'm sure we can find four candles, sis." Dawn leaned over her twin's shoulder, smiling.

"We still need someone willing to travel back and forth to the lookout point, keep watch all night, and light them if they even SEE the danger!" Shadow elaborated on how heavy a responsibility this is.

"I'll do it." This new but familiar female voice spoke up.

Everyone turned to see a fit girl with brick red hair and celadon eyes.

"DEMI!" All the Neo-Super Sailor Senshi, excluding Christen, hugged her.

Demetria "Demi" Lilith Morgan looked healthy, happy, and out of her wheelchair!

"What are you doing here?!" Chibiusa asked, happy, surprised, and worried all at once.

"Well, my adoptive dad's past life was on the Moon. So, we travel back and forth a lot. Usually, we don't stay long enough for me to visit you, but we're staying put for now due to the recent threat. I want to help you girls in any way I can because you helped me when no one else would. I'm finally strong enough to do something!" Demetria told her story.

"Demi, though I'm overjoyed you want to help, you don't have any powers." Gracie reminded her sadly, her bright, green eyes boring into the girl's own.

"What does that have to do with-?" Demi was cut off.

"Someone under Lucius's control will kill you!" Vesta brashly spelled out their concern.

Demi took a deep breath, "I'd rather be killed than know I didn't help when I could have done so."

"You're brave. Foolish but brave." Juno smiled and punched Demi lightly in the shoulder.

Demi smiled back as she barely knew these people, and one was already willing to let her see what she could do!

"If you take on this responsibility, we'll have to come up with cover for you and your supplies." Ariel looked sternly into the girl's pale green eyes.

"There are numerous transports that go through the kingdom each day. If Demi chooses a different one daily, she'll be well hidden." Trisha stated wisely.

With the Senshi's influence, planning with a handful of people to conceal Demi was easy. Demi learned how many candles there were for each tactic: One-Land.

Two-Sea

Three-Air

Four-Underground

Also, she packed non-perishable snacks and drinks, which would get warm but better than nothing. On the first day, the brick redhead decided to ride to the seaside tower by horseback as it was only the first day, so this would not look that suspicious. Though the tower was by the seaside, Demi could see to the horizon! It was tedious checking the surroundings for trouble every 30 minutes, but this job is essential, and the determined girl will uphold it!

"I wonder if I can figure out which way Lucius will attack next? That would be much more helpful. Let's see...those warriors attacked on foot, but they weren't under his command. Do undead Vikings count as underground? This doesn't narrow down things at all!" Demi moaned in annoyance.

Looking out the window, Demi smiled, seeing the Senshi preparing food or participating in enjoyable activities with their group. This obliging girl did not doubt they could care for anything thrown at them! She did wish she could see where and what the underground group was doing, but she had to trust they were ready. That day and night, nothing happened, but the next night, Demi spotted what looked like flickering lights in the mountains in the distance. No...torches?!

Demi lit one of the candles ablaze in the window! Luckily, Tiger's Eye spotted it almost instantly and turned into Sailor Pyro! "Girls, it's time to transform."

"I wish Holly and Alexis were here..." Emily whimpered as she changed into Neo-Super Sailor Saturn.

Holly and Alexis always felt more comfortable around them.

"Together, we will be more than enough," Trisha assured the ebony-haired girl as she transformed into Neo-Super Sailor Pluto.

Super Sailor Earth nodded in agreement.

Suddenly, the girls' wristwatch-like communicators, given to them by their mothers, beeped, and Comet's voice sounded. "Girls, Sailor Pyro, do you see...?"

"Yes, we see them. Well...we see the torch flames." Neo-Super Sailor Venus corrected herself as the group saw the forest start catching fire!

"NO! THE TREES ARE DYING! I CAN HEAR THEIR SCREAMS!" Pained and sorrowful tears in her green eyes, Earth covered her ears and was brought to her knees!

"Those torches are the least of your worries. These warriors may be foot soldiers but have more advanced defense and weapons. This preparation took planning, so they will likely work under Lucius's command. Try not to kill them, as they might remain loyal to the old Helenia once they return to normal." Luna's black, white-tipped daughter reported.

"We'll do what we can, Comet. Thanks." Venus shut her communication with the others.

"You think Comet could tell us exactly what we're up against. How do we know what to look out for?" Saturn questioned.

"You'll have to learn to analyze on your feet and move." Pyro guided the girls using their eyes, speed, and maneuverability to beat this threat.

"I see something gleaming," Pluto informed her group.

"Ballistic Shields." Saturn determined, and everyone looked at her due to the cool name. They thought it might be something new. "S.W.A.T teams on Earth use them."

In little time, much shorter than it should have taken, the line of soldiers reached the 5-some. These fighters don shields, laser stingers, energy guns, stun rays, bazookas, lances, shotguns, long swords, sickles, and scythes!

"They're warping..." Pyro gasped.

"How?" Pluto asked in astonishment as only she and Saturn, to a certain extent, were known to bend the fabric of space and time.

"Keep your eyes open, and we may find out," Pyro whispered.

This battle was ridiculous: Each hit the group did mean they would run into another one! They felt like cornered animals! Finally, Saturn and Pluto had enough as they noticed Venus, Earth, and Pyro were not doing well. Though they avoided any lethal blows, they still got covered in scrapes and bruises!

"Silent Garnet Barrier Shield!" Saturn and Pluto combined their defensive abilities, which resisted most attacks.

"We need a plan." Saturn knew they would eventually run out of energy!

"Earth's Starlight Attack and my most powerful ability could knock out multiple people, but we need to get past those shields..." Venus contemplated.

"I can use my hoops to teleport you?" Pyro offered.

"What about Saturn and Pluto? We can't leave them undefended." Earth murmured, working through her tears.

"My attacks can break through shields, but only one at a time," Saturn admitted.

"To shoot, they have to lower their barriers; that's when I'll strike." Pluto smiled as she felt Earth's concern for them was very sweet. Earth fought through her pain even if they were not Dark Kingdom Senshi.

Hastily, Pyro created a hoop of fire, which Venus and Earth jumped into together. Then, Pyro, Saturn, and Pluto battered the shields to distract the troops.

"Furious Random Starlight Beams Barrage!" Venus and Earth whispered, trying to keep themselves unheard by Lucius's forces.

Golden, star-shaped beams of energy hit the opponents! As the soldiers lay on the ground knocked out, the girls and Pyro rush forward, disposing of the shields and hoarding the weapons for their benefit! Using their abilities, the weapons were distributed evenly to the other groups. After this was done, the opposition came to!

"W-W-What happened?" One of the young male soldiers looked around, clearly confused.

"What are we wearing?!" This harsh voice came from a lady who examined her comrades and her armor, which was similar to Concordia's but darker and spiked.

"Forget that! How did we get on the Moon?!" Another gentleman, though older, yelled in alarm.

"None of you remember anything?" Pluto asked, amazed at how so many people could be cursed not to remember.

"Last we remember, we were fighting Lucius on Concordia, and next thing we know, we wake up here." This young male from earlier replied.

"That monster must have mind-controlled you to go to war with us instead and not remember it." Saturn figured.

"Sorry, we had to rough you up so much. Your weapons have been re-distributed to our forces." Venus explained kindly.

"You did what you had to. We'd rather use our armaments to help the Senshi anyway." Another young man pried off the armor, and, to everyone's shock, the people had been wearing regular clothes underneath, not uniforms.

So, they had not been soldiers at all! Sending them to benevolent Neo-Queen, Serenity placed them in a safe zone where they could live until Helenia was rescued. Demi snuffed out the candle when she was informed by a series of flashing lights from Venus and Pyro the battle had ended. Little did they know, this had been the easiest battle.
