Chelsea smiled softly at the other woman. "Danny wouldn't shut up about you after you guys met. It was different than other girls he had dated. I didn't think I'd ever have a chance with him after that."

"Oh I was proper smitten with him at the time. After seeing you guys interact, it wasn't hard to see that you both had feelings for each other. We got into an argument about it once, but he insisted that he loved me." Rachel admitted taking a sip of her tea.

She looked surprised by that. "He was so excited yet nervous when you got pregnant with Grace. I knew he'd be a great dad because he was so good being an uncle to Eric. He hated getting the divorce. He felt like he failed her. I knew the moment he told me that you guys were moving to Hawaii that he'd follow you. He wasn't going to put Grace through a long custody proceeding, you know?"

"I know and I've always appreciated Danny putting Grace first like that. I always thought that he would end up getting with you, but you didn't come to Hawaii at first. The affair was stupid. There was struggles in my marriage and Danny let me lean on him. I even briefly considered ending things with Stan and trying again with Danny. Then I saw the way his face lit up when you called and I knew he was still very much in love with you." The Brit smiled slightly at her.

Chelsea nodded her head. "Well I'm just glad that we can get along for the kids' sakes."

"Oh yeah, me too. They seem to be handling it pretty well." Rachel agreed smiling more. "I'm surprised you and Danny haven't added to the brood yet."

She blushes taking a sip of her tea. "He wants to have more. Danny loves being a father. I guess I'm just nervous. I don't know how Grace and Charlie would react. Would I even be a good mom? I mean, I try to be a good stepmom, but I don't want to overstep because you're their mom. Please yell at me if I ever overstep."

"Chelsea, I've seen you with my children. I think you would be an amazing mother if and when you're ready. I'm sure the kids would be fine with it too. Hey, you've never overstepped and I don't think you ever will." She assured her with a smile.

Chelsea gave her a grateful smile. "Thank you, Rachel. I appreciate that."

The bickering between Steve and Erin could be heard as soon as they stepped off the elevator into the Five-0 headquarters. Chelsea was waiting as Steve had texted her ahead of time. She greeted Danny with a kiss and subtly checked him over. He didn't seem banged up and neither did the rest of the team which was a relief.

Steve nodded at Chelsea taking his attention off of Erin for a moment. "Perp knocked her into a wall pretty roughly. She said she's okay, but there's some dizziness."

"I'm fine. I just..." Erin trailed off as she fainted.

He caught Erin scooping her up into his arms. "Whoa. I got you."

Chelsea gestured at him. "Come on, bring her to my office."

Steve nodded following her to her office where he laid Erin down gently on the exam table. Chelsea got to work checking the woman's vitals. Erin began to stir groaning softly. She checked her pupils then jotted down some notes.

"Chelsea?" She asked looking a bit confused.

Chelsea smiled softly at her. "Hey Erin. You just fainted. Your vitals look good although your blood pressure is a little elevated. Probably from bickering with Steve."

He glanced over at Chelsea. "But she's okay?"

She nodded her head. "I think so. Has she eaten today?"

"Yeah I did. Breakfast and lunch. Omelette and coffee for breakfast. Sandwich for lunch." Erin recalled.

Chelsea made another note. "Well you have a pretty healthy medical history and like I said, your vitals are good. You don't show any signs of concussion either. Just to be on the safe side, I'm going to send you over to the hospital so they can run some routine tests. Steve can take you. I'll call ahead so that they're expecting you."

"Thank you. I still think I'm alright, but I trust you, Chels." She smiled softly at her.

Chelsea nodded her head and watched them leave. She grabbed her office phone and called the hospital. The brunette then sent Steve a text letting him know which hospital. Sighing in relief, she cleaned up a bit then smiled when she felt Danny's arms slide around her waist. Chelsea leaned back against his chest and smiled softly.

"Everything okay?" He asked pressing a kiss to her cheek.

She relaxed turning around to face him. "Yeah, I sent Erin to the hospital for routine testing. I just wanted to be sure that she was okay, you know?"

"I get that. So she should be fine then?" Danny held her close.

Chelsea nodded her head. "Erin should definitely be fine and if I'm correct, she's also expanding our ohana."

"Wait, she's... are you sure?" He looked surprised.

She giggled softly at him. "I mean, I don't know for sure, but all the signs seem to point to yes. I should know. I have the same signs."

"Oh. Wait what?" Danny looked at his wife in shock.

Chelsea took a breath and then grinned. "I'm pregnant, Danny. We're going to have a baby."

"You're... we're going to... oh my god. Jersey! We're having a baby!" His face lit up and he grinned pulling her into a hug.

She hugged him back. "Yeah we are."

"Wait, how do you really feel about this? I know you weren't ready for it yet." Danny looked at her with concern.

Chelsea shook her head then smiled at him. "Believe it or not, I had tea with Rachel and we talked. She eased my mind. I was going to talk to you about when we might want to try, but then I realized I was already pregnant. I can't say I'm fully ready for it, but I am okay with it and I am pretty excited."

"Huh. Wow. Alright. If you're sure." He pressed a kiss to her head and smiled.

Over at the hospital, tests were run on Erin. The results came in after a while and the doctor then applied cold gel to Erin's lower abdomen before doing an ultrasound. They could hear a heartbeat and the doctor looked at them.

"Well I can confirm that you're healthy. You're also eight weeks pregnant. Congratulations." The doctor revealed to them.

Steve looked shock, but still concerned. "She fainted though. That can't be healthy."

"Actually it's a common symptom during the first trimester. Hormonal changes can lead to low blood pressure. It's back to normal levels now though which is a good sign. Hot weather can also bring on dizziness or fainting with pregnant woman. So I'd advise that you try to stay cool." The doctor explained to them.

"Okay. Thank you." Erin wasn't sure what to think.

The doctor nodded wiping the gel off of Erin's belly. She was released a short while later from the hospital. The sonogram photos were in her hands as Steve drove her back to his home. They were both still in shock at the news.

He went inside and sat down with her. "I'm with you every step of the way no matter what you decide."

"I'm keeping it, Steve. I want to keep it." She confirmed.

Steve softened toward her. "Alright then. We're having a baby. We can use my old room as the nursery."

"I'm sorry." Erin sighed.

He smiled softly at her. "You have nothing to be sorry for, Erin. It takes two to make a baby."

"Yeah I know. Don't get me wrong, I love being with you, but we haven't even really defined our relationship yet."

Steve brushed her hair back behind her ear. "I love being with you too. I can't say I've ever really been good with relationships, but I want to try with you and I'm not just saying that because we're having a kid."

"Okay. I want to try with you too." Erin smiled softly at him.

He returned the smile. "You should talk to your ob/gyn, but I'm thinking you're off field duty until after you have the baby."

"Honestly, I won't fight you on that. If the doctor says it's okay, I'd at least like to continue working from the office until I go on leave." She suggested to him.

Steve pressed a kiss to her head. "I don't see why not if your doctor approves, but if it stresses you too much then we'll figure something out."

"I can agree to that. I think I'll take it easy for the rest of the day, but first I'll make that appointment with the doctor." Erin agreed.

"I just wanted to thank you for talking to Chelsea and for hearing her out." Danny spoke honestly as he stood outside of Rachel's home.

"You're welcome. We both agree that we want the kids to grow up knowing that things are amicable between us, you know?" She smiled softly at him.

"Oh I agree on that too. Look, I just thought you should hear this from me. Chelsea is pregnant." He admitted to her.

"Oh wow. Congratulations, Danny. I'm happy for you both." Rachel looked surprised, but genuinely happy for them.

"Thanks. We're going to tell the kids soon. Just wanted to wait until she's out of the first trimester. I also just wanted to tell you before them because I didn't want you to be caught off guard if Grace said anything." Danny explained to her.

"I appreciate that. Thank you." She smiled softly at him.
