* What happened? *
That was the first thing Michikatsu said after he opened his eyes, clutching his blade. He was in a dark and rather cold space. Was he fast or slow? Had he weakened? He had no idea, He no longer felt that rush of life, one would think this was the other world, but then he must be in hell? Without a second thought walking in the empty darkness, Michikatsu realized he was in a cave, due to the damp and stony rocks that though he could not see, but he still had his eyesight.
-Oh what is that light? with a calm and curious tone, Michikatsu headed straight into the light, perhaps his eyes were already used to the darkness but had to make a change, he had been stomping on rock for about an hour now, probably in a circle...
A bright flash, and Michikatsu could see everything clearly now, rather large caves, twisted and what's the strangest bright... these rocks naturally create light as if they were specially made to be walked on. Suddenly a huge shock seeped into Michikatsu's head, expressing his face, not believing his eyes Michikatsu touched his hand... no it was real. He became human, fountains of thought trampled over his head, he didn't realize it.
-It seems that I returned to my body before I became a demon... still calm and invulnerable Michikatsu whispered quietly to himself, the last words he spoke with a kind of disdain,
Not only did he not understand his feeling, but he had also forgotten the last events.
Various thoughts enveloped him, is it a dream? is it an illusion? am I crazy? as he pondered Michikatsu walked at a steady and slow pace into the unknown, he had a basic knowledge of geolocation, he understood that the caves were getting deeper and logically one would assume that he should go up and go to the surface, that way he would find more answers to his questions.
The more Michikatsu thought the more he found the answers mostly because he remembered past events, and the more he analyzed them the more he understood his feeling.
-I'm human? A certain pale-skinned, tall and muscular man with long, pointed black hair with red tips gathered in a ponytail said softly and with some joy. The man's face was aristocratic and his black eyes were lifeless, the upper left side of his forehead and the lower right side of his chin had red markings that resembled flames.
Michikatsu wore a purple and black beehive-shaped nagagagi kimono and a black ukanori-style hakama with a white uwa-obi. On his belt he wore a katana concealed in a sheath known as the *blade of nichirin*.
As he continued walking he partially recovered his memory, his centuries-long life as a demon, and his death. His whole life had been spent trying to equal his younger brother, he had abandoned his family, betrayed humanity, been what scares children.
Why? Why did he need to become stronger than his younger brother? What was his motivation? Was it simple envy...?
-Human emotion is so strong that the future I made a monster of myself out of envy, became the highest moon. I still won't reach his power. emotionless and lifelessly said Michikatsu seemed to put an end to his life with his last words.
He no longer wanted power, now he just wanted to get out of the cave or at least appreciate his body.
Michikatsu had a strange premonition, he felt more and more alive... as if the cave itself were alive, as Michikatsu approached the walls of the cave he heard stomping, a strange stomping that was accompanied by a Roar, a Roar of a beast he had never heard before.
-There, Michikatsu said easily, and rushed toward one of the branches of the tunnel.
it was a strange feeling, he felt very weak, especially physically, as if he was carrying a mountain, his strength was very limited... right now he would compare himself to that white-haired hunter whose name was supposedly Sanemi... with these thoughts Michikatsu raced towards the sounds
- My skill as a blade can never be taken away, my sense is still sharp and my skill and experience is still with me. I think I'm in that body when before I became a demon... again that word made him irritated, flitting like a butterfly, Michikatsu covered the distance rather quickly, and when he came to the destination point the events before his eyes put him in a shallow stupor and shock.
A boy with snow-white hair and crimson eyes was fighting a beast several times his size. The boy was weaker, much weaker, but it seems the monster the boy was fighting had no intellect and acted only on instinct in any case it did not equal his chances, at any convenient moment he ran away and tried not to make contact, his eyes clearly conveyed fear and horror. Completely desperate the boy was cornered and he himself stopped resisting, horror seemed to completely engulf the boy's spirit as he was about to accept his fate. he only heard the sound of swords, the sound of torn flesh and the smell of blood that completely stained the boy.
Michikatsu clearly saw what was happening, he didn't want to interfere because first he wanted to see the continuation of this event, secondly why interfere? it's not his business right?...but for some reason decided to help the boy, he quickly and easily took his blade and in a jump simple movements cut the body, Michikatsu did not know how to cut organs or sensitive places to finish the monster, he had never encountered such things, he just on instinct first beheaded then chaotic movements cut the bodies.
Still wondering *why he did it* Michikatsu did not pay attention to the boy who opened his eyes to see his savior, there was a shock and a fear of this man and for this reason the albino boy could not utter a word and just watched as his savior slowly shoves his sword and walks away.
Too many events struck the boy, he only watched the figure walk away.
-Stop, said the boy loudly but uncertainly, who nevertheless found the strength to pull himself together and thank his savior.
The figure stopped and looked back at the boy, his expression was truly majestic, no he didn't disgust the boy, rather it was his pride and his peculiar character that was clearly expressed on his face.
-Thank you very much! I-I will certainly repay you, there was no more fear, the boy quickly gathered his thoughts and his words were full of confidence and his eyes were filled with admiration, admiration for the figure of the savior.
- May I know your name and your family, please?" said the albino boy equally loudly, if he had been appraised he would have said that this was a person from the far east.
Their eyes met and ranked each other, the boy would have described this guy as a tough hero who would rescue everyone from the shadows and preferred silence and peace, and his unemotional face only emphasized this, the boy was not good at levels, but would have said that he was exactly a level 4 or above since he defeated the Minotaur so easily.
Michikatsu only paid attention to the boy, it wouldn't be a bad idea to question him... and so as not to raise unnecessary suspicions, it seems the boy saw him as a savior, and as for his personality, Michikatsu would say that he was a hunter, they fight to the last and usually human nature takes over and filled with terror they could not think and act rationally, however, it didn't matter, Michikwu had never had his philosophy and was one of those who would say that instincts are normal.
-You... was about to say Michikatsu as suddenly someone interrupted him, out of the shadows came 2 figures, the first figure an oddly dressed gray-haired man of about 20, the second figure a girl of about 16 with long golden hair and the same eyes right now 4 figures looked at each other, logical thinking the gray-haired man understood what was what, Minotaur pursued this guy and cornered him and this creepy guy probably saved him, smiling small, the guy laughed a bit
-Come on Isa let's go our work has already been done for us, the gray-haired man walked freely away.
The girl looked around the two figures for a while and followed him too, but first she approached the albino and apologized, there was a note of regret in her words and the boy blushed and wondered why she was apologizing, besides she gave him a potion and thanked his rescuer.
-You don't have to apologize, it's my fault and...and thanks for the potion the boy quickly said everything he could think of, his heart was beating frantically at that moment...
After bowing slightly she walked away leaving the boy and his savior alone.
The boy watched the departing figure holding the potion, at this moment different emotions played in his head.
-Hey. Boy I'd like to ask... he was interrupted again.
- Y-Yes, I'm sorry I y-yes. More thank you, thank you for saving my life bowed thank god boy
Michikatsu was horribly annoyed by this, he hated being interrupted much less listened to, but somehow he was calm, his emotions, his personality, they had changed, as if he had reawakened a human in himself... man for sure that grey haired boy was not human, he could clearly tell the difference between demon and human from their soul condition, those two were not humans or demons, they were different... More and more questions were on the man's mind...
- What's your name? Michikatsu asked unemotionally but because of his *majesty* this question was more of an order, Michikatsu was demanding the boy's name
- Bell, Bell Kranel already calmly answered the boy, he came back to himself and wanted to ask the savior already...
- What is your name? with a note of respect asked Bell
Michikatsu thought a bit about his words, right now he wanted to be answered but he had to think of something...
-Michikatsu Tsugikuni. Yes that was his name, a name he hadn't used in centuries. Did he like to impersonate a human being? Perhaps.
-Michikatsu san may I ask what family you come from? Bell saw in his hero's eyes and wanted to know more about his hero. His eyes glowed with stars, but he successfully hid them.
- Family... family you say Michikatsu didn't understand what the hell is going on here?, monsters, non-humans... only gods are missing the man thought...
- I don't have a family, it's dead. Michikatsu thought that was the most logical answer so he would avoid further inquiries about the family and rid himself of suspicion because he didn't understand what the family had to do with it.
-I'm so sorry... right now Bell was beating himself up in the head, he could ruin his relationship with his savior. But it also meant that... no that's too brazen to think about, and he's not the level he'd ever join our family thought Bell
-Bell, I'll ask you questions, and you shouldn't ask personal questions okay? Michikatsu said briefly but again it was more of an order than a request
Right now Michikatsu wanted answers, first of all to the question *What happened to him? *
-Certainly Michikatsu san about anything, what I know I will try to answer. it seemed the boy was already used to talking to a man, because anyone else would at least be annoyed by such a tone from the interlocutor.
-Okay. Let's leave the cave first, Michikatsu purposely didn't ask about the cave so as not to seem too suspicious. Instead he will follow the boy pretending to know the way, and on the way ask everything
-You mean the dungeon? Michikatsu san? A little perplexed Bell asked.
-Yes, the dungeon...
