(Dodgeball Rematch Part 2)

*April 16th, 1941*

*10:35 am*

*Highlands High School*

The second half of the dodgeball game had officially begun as Anya, Nancy, and Glenn were faced with the red team who had the advantage.

"Alright, Our next target is Nancy since she is the key player for the blue team so we should eliminate her next and once we do that then surely we'll win!" Joseph had advised the rest of his teammates in a rather confident tone of voice as he was met with nods of agreement from Wanda and the others as they proceeded to enact their plan.

"It's near impossible for Anya's team to win! This shall be an easy victory!" Wanda had thought to herself.

She let out a confident smile as she ran across the court and proceeded to throw the ball with great might as it dashed across the field as it was coming towards Nancy's direction as this alerted Glenn.

"Nancy! Ball incoming!" Glenn cried out as he quickly ran towards Nancy's presence as he attempted to catch the ball however it was all pointless as it managed to hit Nancy thus officially eliminating her from the team as this got everyone by surprise as the people began to chat amongst themselves.

"N-Nancy, She actually got eliminated in a game…" Don had spoken to his fellow teammates in pure surprise as she looked at Nancy who had the same expression on her face as well.

"Nancy has been eliminated…" Coach Jones had called out in surprise as he saw the young girl walking towards the out of bounds zone as he had a feeling that this game could be over.

"Damn, I can't believe I didn't see that coming…" Nancy uttered in defeat as she sat down in disappointment before quickly being comforted by Charlotte.

"It's okay, It doesn't matter whatever we win or lose but rather the fun and enjoyment we get out of this game so please continue to cheer for your friends!" Charlotte had spoken to Nancy as her words quickly reached Nancy as the young girl quickly got up and was ready to cheer for Anya and Glenn.

"Thank you, Charlotte! I'll try my best to be a cheerleader for my friend and Glenn!" Nancy had spoken back to her friend with a smile on her face as she continued to watch the ongoing game.

"Nancy has been eliminated, Joseph and his team have gotten better than last time! I gotta find a way to eliminate the others" Anya thought to herself as she managed to pick up one of the balls and proceeded to make her way across the court as she aimed it at Wanda.

"Try as you might but you'll never succeed in eliminating us so it's best to call it quits and forfeit the game alongside Glenn!" Wanda had advised Anya as she stared at the eyes of a fierce and determined girl as she was ready to throw the ball at Anya as well.

"Nope, My mother always taught me to never give up!" Anya cried out in defiance as she quickly threw the ball with quick succession as the ball zoomed across the field as this made Wanda smile.

"Even if you eliminate me then it's just gonna be Glenn and your team will lose!" Wanda cried out in joy as she began to laugh proudly as she eventually threw the ball as both balls eventually hit both of their targets.

"Anya and Wanda have both been eliminated from the game…" Coach Jones had called out as many gasps and mutters emerged from the crowd as Anya and Wanda walked towards the out of bounds section.

"Wow, you actually managed to eliminate me but that's gonna be in vain once Glenn gets eliminated since you did something so dumb" Wanda had spoken to Anya as she chuckled at what she had just seen as she felt a tap on her shoulder which made her turn around to reveal Charlotte who shook her head in disappointment.

"Wanda, It's not about winning but rather being a good sportsman and I know you want your team to win and everything but acting cocky isn't gonna get you anywhere…" Charlotte advised Wanda as the young girl turned the other cheek.

"I know but there's nothing wrong with having some fun once in a while cause it's pretty boring if we act all goody two shoes as opposed to having some fun banter in sports but you sure do have some good advice" Wanda had spoken back to Charlotte as she let out a smile before going back with her teams as this was watched by Anya and Charlotte.

"There's no changing her but let's continue watching the game…" Anya had spoken to Charlotte as both girls nodded their heads and proceeded to watch the game.

"Damn, There's no way in hell that I'm gonna defeat this team! There has to be another way!" Glenn cried out to himself as he stared at Joseph and his team.

"Give up? Once me and my friends throw this ball then it's all gonna be over from there…" Joseph called out as he and his teammates proceeded to throw the balls as all of them came dashing towards Glenn.

"I'm sorry everyone…" Glenn uttered in defeat as he was prepared to face defeat however he heard the cries of Charlotte.

"Don't give up! Show these people who you are! You can do this!" Charlotte cried out as her words quickly sent a jolt of motivation rushing towards Glenn's body.

"I-I will! I-I won't lose!" Glenn had spoken back as he quickly dodged the balls by sheer luck as he caught two of the balls which caught Joseph and his team by surprise.

"Interesting! He actually managed to avoid the balls but we'll eventually get him…" Joseph thought to himself as he was prepared for what was to come. "Here goes nothing!" Glenn cried out as he threw both balls with great speed towards the other team as he successfully eliminated Deborah and Jeffrey.

"Deborah and Jeffrey have been eliminated" Coach Jones had called out as the red team's defenses were slowly being decreased.

"That's nothing! Let's show him the triple threat of Joseph, Thomas, and Charles!" Thomas cried out in joy as the three boys now had balls as they proceeded to throw the balls towards Glenn's path.

"I still have two more balls left! Try as you might!" Glenn cried out as he found himself getting more motivated as he eventually threw the balls as the balls hit their targets.

"Thomas, Charles, and Glenn have been eliminated so the red team wins due to Alferd and Andrew still standing!" Coach Jones cried out as he blew the whistle as the red team celebrated their victory.

"I-I lost, I'm sorry…" Glenn had spoken out in utter defeat as he looked up to see Charlotte and the others smiling at him.

"It's okay, You did your best and we won some games and we lost some games but we always live to fight another day…" Charlotte had spoken to Glenn in a warm and gentle voice as she and Glenn shared a warm smile together.

"She's right, We just have to try even harder for the next game!" Anya had spoken out as well as she looked over to see Joseph walking towards them as he proceeded to extend his hand for a handshake.

"Good game, You guys fought pretty well so I give you my respect but I expect you and the blue team to fully beat us, okay?" Joseph had advised Anya as the pair gave each other a good handshake.

"You best believe that we'll beat you and the other teammates!" Anya had spoken back to Joseph as this moment was seen by Nancy.

"She's right, Today's loss is only motivation for us to get even better…" Nancy thought to herself as her heart was filled with motivation to beat the red team for the next game.
