*9 days until festival*

It was a rather beautiful evening as Anya and her friends were at Charlotte's house as they were creating a banner for the upcoming festival as the room was filled with many supplies and everything else.

"T-Thank you for inviting me, You guys truly didn't have to" Emma had thanked her friends in a polite tone of voice as she continued to work on the project alongside with her friends.

"Anytime, You're our friend! You're always welcome to hang out with us once you're free" Anya had spoken back to her friend as she and Emma shared a smile together before going back to work as this was seen by Carrie and Russell who was in charge of handling the design for the banner.

"Say, Have you come up with any idea on how the design should look? I was thinking of a Grizzly Bear or maybe a Fox but I wanna see your input in this before we move forward" Russell had asked Carrie as he waited for an answer while continuing to brainstorm more ideas in the process.

"How about an American Eagle, I think it fights the theme of the private academy so I was thinking we could use that" Carrie had advised her friend as she was met with a smile which was followed by a nod of agreement by Russell.

"Wonderful! I like your idea! Let's start drawing the eagle once we're finished with constructing the banner, okay?" Russell had spoken back to his friend as he was met with a thumbs up from Carrie which made him smile back at Carrie while he looked around to see everyone else working on other small projects for the festival.

"Something tells me that this festival is gonna be quite eventful.." Russell had thought to himself as he quickly turned back to finish working on the banner alongside Carrie as there was suddenly a knock on the door.

"Please come in" Charlotte simply responded back as the door opened to reveal Mrs Smith who had prepared sandwiches for everyone.

"Good Evening, I've made sandwiches for everyone so feel free to dig in but goodluck on the project" Mrs Smith had spoken to her daughter and everyone else as her words were met with smiles from everyone.

"Thank you so much mother, We'll be out in a minute so you can set them on the kitchen table" Charlotte had thanked her mother with a smile on her face in which was followed by the rest of her friends sharing their thanks.

"You people are very welcome. I'll set the food in the kitchen along with some lemonade as well" Mrs Smith had spoken back to the gang as she gently closed the door to set the food in the kitchen.

"Your mother is very kind. It truly warms my heart, Charlotte" Mai had spoken to her friend as she got up from her seat as her comments made Charlotte smile.

"Thanks! My mother's kindness is truly something that people admire and that's where I get my personality from.." Charlotte had spoken back to Mai as the two girls shared a smile before getting ready to head to the kitchen while Anya and Emma followed suit.

"By the way, how's your homelife? I'm awfully curious to know since we've been friends for a few weeks now but if you don't wanna tell me then I completely understand" Anya had asked Emma as she was met with the young girl shaking her head as she suddenly began to speak.

"It's all good, I don't mind telling you since you're my friend and all but, I live with my parents and I do have an older sister who's in her late twenties but she doesn't live with us since she's pursuing other things in life but yeah. That's the story of my rather boring life" Emma had answered her friend back as she chuckled at her own words which was followed by Anya doing the same.

"That's wonderful! I hope to meet your sister one day but that honestly remains to be seen but if she ever comes out to visit then please let us know, okay?" Anya had advised her friend as her advice was met with Emma nodding her head in full support.

"Sure, My older sister is really nice and supportive so I'll definitely keep that in mind" Emma had spoken back to her friend as the girls shared a small laugh together as she and Anya followed the rest of their friends towards the kitchen area so that they could eat the sandwiches as Emma was amazed by Charlotte's home.

"You have such an amazing home, Charlotte, It looks very Victorian yet comfortable at the same time" Emma had complimented as she continued to look around as her words made Charlotte smile.

"Thank you, My mother is behind most of the house's setup and she did quite a good job on it" Charlotte had spoken back to her friend as the gang eventually made their way to the kitchen as everyone sat down and proceeded to eat the sandwiches.

"Since we're here, We should discuss on what dishes we should bring since Mrs Romanov did suggested that our mothers pitch in with the food so that the lunch ladies' only job is to simply warm up the food for everyone" Nancy had advised to her friends as she had taken a bite from her sandwich while she was met with nods of agreement from everyone.

"Good Idea, My mother is going for something more southern such as chicken so I could use that from her but I could convince her to do something simple such as dressing" Russell had chimed in as his idea was met with Nancy nodding her head in full support.

"That sounds good! My mother is planning on making mac and cheese so I guess I'm all set and ready to go" Anya had added on to the conversation as all of this made Nancy smile.

"Wonderful! If all goes well, then we should bring the food on the day of the festival" Nancy had spoken out as everyone nodded their heads in agreement while Anya began to speak.

"There are only nine days left until the festival so let's continue in preparing ourselves for the big day, okay?" Anya had advised her friends as she placed her hand on the table which was followed by everyone else placing their hands on top of each other.

"Sounds good! Let's ensure that we enjoy ourselves greatly during the festival and let's not allow Judith or anyone to ruin our special day!" Charlotte had cried out in a joyful tone of voice as she and the rest of her friends let out cheers of joy while everyone was excited for the upcoming festival as everything was being heard by Mrs Smith who was on the other side of the room.

"I guess I should get an early start on the festival stuff" Mrs Smith had thought to herself as she smiled before eventually leaving her room as she could tell that her daughter and everyone else was excited for the upcoming festival.
