Potter Manor: July 31st, 1980; 11:37 P.M.

Heir James Potter was pacing the floor in worry as he waited for the news. No sound was heard from the room because of the soundproof charms in the room in which his wife Lillian Potter neé Evans was giving birth. Lord Charles Potter too was worried and excited for the birth of his grandchild while his wife Lady Dorea Potter neé Black was helping her daughter in law give birth. Sirius Black was also anxiously waiting the birth of his godchild.

Wizarding Britain was currently going through a civil war. The society was plagued with fear and suspicion. It was because of this situation that the young couple decided to have their baby at their ancestral home, behind the protection of centuries-old wards. This suggestion was made by the Lord and Lady Potter, who did not want to take any risks by going to a vulnerable place like St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Lady Potter was more than capable of ensuring a safe birth; she was a renowned healer with decades of experience.

The wait of the men came to an end as Lady Potter came out of the room with a newborn baby wrapped in a red towel. The men waited in silence as she handed the little bundle of joy to her son. "Congratulations son! You are now a father of a beautiful young girl." James carefully took his daughter as if holding the mist precious treasure in the world. "Hi Princess", he said to his daughter for the first time, "I am your daddy." Charlus Potter came near his son and looked at the tiny heiress and said, "Merry meet, love. I am your grandfather, and this lovely lady is your grandmother." Sirius, unable to hold his excitement any longer, took the baby from his best friend cum brother's hands and said, "Hi Pup! I am Sirius, your most handsome and amazing dogfather who is going to spoil you rotten." Meanwhile, James went inside the room towards his wife who was currently asleep and gently took her hands in his hands and kissed them, saying, "We have a daughter, Lily-Flower. Thank you so much for your hard work."

The wizarding britain was full of darkness because of the ongoing war, yet the Potter Manor was full of hope and happiness with the birth of Kalliste Ophelia Potter, the first female Potter born in seven centuries.
