Throughout the Pokémon regions, Pokémon can be found almost anywhere, whether that be in the sky, the sea, or the land. Some even take refuge with people. These specific individuals are called trainers. For many years, Trainers and Pokemon have lived happily together, like a paradise. Until one day...
A huge silhouette appears, and the Pokemon was never the same again.
The huge silhouette strangely appeared one night and has been wreaking havoc on both people and Pokémon, slaughtering any and all who dare cross its path.
Arceus, the God of all beings, be they Pokémon or humans, sensed such callous actions. The Alpha Pokémon arrived where the shadow monster had been and was horrified by the carnage it had left in its wake. "Who are you? Why have you come here?" He demanded.
The shadow ignored him and continued to slaughter every person and Pokémon he could see; each death made Arceus angrier by the second. "Thy who wish to pollute my beloved world with such evil shall be perished!" He cried as the wheel on his back began to glow brightly, which caused an orange orb to appear on top of Arceus's forehead. The Creator of Pokemon World revered back and sent said orb into the sky, leaving behind orange streets as it flew higher and higher into the sky. The orb burst apart, releasing multiple pink meteors, which began to rain down upon the shadow beast.
However, the beast somehow dodged the incoming attack, causing his body to break apart and spread, causing both people and Pokémon to attack and kill each other. Such violence was even out of the Alpha Pokémon's control. "Looks like I have no choice but to erase this event and this entire planet from the timeline; otherwise, the darkness will take over the entire universe!"
Suddenly, the Lake guardians appeared, each pleading with Arceus not to do what he intended. "Lord Arceus, please do not destroy the humans; there must be a logical way to stop that chaos without hurting them!" Uixie pleaded.
"What would you have me do, Uixie? Even with your superior intellect, could you possibly manage to come up with a better solution before this kind of evil being destroys this world?"
Uixie stops. Even though he is the smartest being he knows, he has his doubts about being able to find a more logical solution. In his silence, Azelf decides to speak. "Arceus, are you really sure you're going to do this? Because if you do, you will end up killing every human on this planet, and that includes Ash!"
"Ash...?" Hearing the boy's name, Arceus began to rethink his initial idea. He needed to keep Ash alive at all costs. When the Alpha Pokémon returned to his right mind, the darkness had already taken over 75% of the world. Arceus attempted to prevent that darkness from spreading, but it was too late.
That Beast appears to do some very sadistic smile towards Arceus, as if that Beast was trying to told Arceus that it's evil greed had been Conquer over the entire Pokemon world!
Arceus: "You bastard..."
The furious Arceus raced after the darkness, knowing that the only plan of action was to face him directly. However, just as he arrived at the beast's location, a voice caught his attention. "PIKACHU!"
A giant Pikachu appeared before them, and before Arcues could demand to know what was happening, the Mouse Pokémon hurled a giant bolt of lightning at them. The Thunderbolt was so powerful that it caused the dimension to tear apart. Arceus saw some sort of image within the tear: Ash being shocked by his partner, Pikachu, in his room.
Ash jolted in his bed, his breath coming out in short gasps. 'It was just a dream,' he told himself. Just a dream. It wasn't real.
Right?
A knock at his door startled Ash, causing a gasp to slip from his mouth. "Ash, honey, I have something for you."
Ash let out a sigh of relief. It was just his mother. He quickly leaped out of bed and got dressed before rushing down towards the kitchen, with Pikachu following close behind. He found his mother already sitting at the kitchen table with an envelope in her hands. "This just arrived for you, Ash. It's an invitation to the Master Class Showcase Tournament finals."
"Thanks, Mom. Who's in the finals?"
"I believe their names were Aria and Serena."
At the mention of Serena, Ash's eyes sparkled with joy, and a blush appeared on his neck. "Serena's in the finals? That's awesome!"
Delia chuckled at her son's obvious crush on the Vaniville Town native. "The tickets are in this envelope." She paused, glancing at the clock. "Ash! You're late!" She sighed. "Again."
"Huh?" Ash turned his attention towards the click, and let out a horrified gasp. "Oh, no! I'm late!" He cried as he rushed out the door, heading straight for the airport. Luckily, he was quickly able to book a flight to the Kalos region.
After the 14-hour flight, Ash finally arrived in the Kalos region. Upon arrival, he made his way to the main city, Lumiose City. He looked around, the memories of his first visit flashing in his mind.
Suddenly, he noticed an unconscious Pokémon in the middle of the city square. He rushed to its side, where he noticed that the Pokémon was a Greninja. He winced at the memory of his, but quickly pushed it aside. This Greninja needed him. Upon closer examination, he noticed that something about this Greninja was familiar. 'It cannot be!"
Indeed, it was. This Greninja was indeed his! "Greninja? But...why? Why are you here?"
