Naruto knew he wasn't strong enough. It happened in the blink of an eye, but even so, he would do everything beyond his reach to preserve her smile. Finding the stones of knowledge is a crooked path, however, being stagnant is much worse. The World Government has tried to hide the truth for a long time, so it's up to us to find that light. We need to fight! We will live!

Disclaimer: I do not own the Naruto or One Piece masterpieces, as both are the property of their respective amazing writers, Masashi Kishimoto and Eiichiro Oda, but I will honestly claim my own creations along the way.

One year... sorry for that!

Survivors of Ohara, Fights Against Us

Chapter 1 (Prelude)

"Buster Call! Don't cower before the invaders!"

"Why are you crying? Pretty girls shouldn't cry, dattebayo!

Why did you tattoo little whiskers on your cheeks? Did not hurt?

So you can read too? Seriously?!

Robin! Take my hand!

You saved me, Naruto-kun. Thank you.

I won't be turning my back on anyone who needs help, Ms. Olvia.

I have a plan, but for that… I'll need you to trust me, Roro-chan.

You are all correct. I'm still not strong enough to face an Admiral, but I'm not a coward either!

You can't save everyone! Stop! Leave! Ohara is dying!

I trust you with all my life.

Are you an Admiral? I see... puppies can't choose.

This fruit's name is Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Asura, and it's a 'God'-level Mythical Zoan, but it's... different from its counterparts. It's special.

Why is it special? Does it taste different from other Devil Fruits? I don't see anything different about it.

Do not deceive yourself! This fruit is special for a reason: it is the only fruit said between the lines that is against the gods.

Oh? I already know that. So... give me the damn fruit!"

Ohara was dying.

And it only took a button above a miserable golden snail to answer that painful and mortifying call.

A button that alone was capable of annihilating nations in a single day with the arrival of battalions and more battalions of marines armed to the teeth.

Carrying men capable of causing great damage on the bow of each ship and some even being able to completely alter the environment with their cursed powers.

The wonderful island that concentrated mostly great scholars who sought only one thing: to find the truth about the world.

Unfortunately, despite all the intellect and knowledge they accumulated over time – decades and centuries – they even came dangerously close to the hidden truth about a dark time for humanity and all other races in existence.

The Void Century.

One hundred years erased. Just like that.

An eraser the size of the planet was the only imaginable tool capable of such a terrifying feat as erasing a hundred years of the entire world's history.

Or a flood so massive that it would hide the old world and create a new one above the rubble.

A whole century.

However, the truth was much more unsettling.

The truth was that the flag that circled the world trying to establish order through a single flag, was also the only one to be in the main spotlight dating back to the lost century.

The World Government.

Once in the past, there was a magnificent and colossal tree of knowledge that stood proudly in the center of the island, but today on this turbulent day, full of atrocities and carnage, the beautiful tree was nowhere to be seen.

Only a deep hole existed to tell the story.

A hole so wide and deep in the earth that the sea below didn't have to struggle much longer before a sea eruption erupted from that enormous whirlpool.

The orange spiral holding freedom and power that would carry on his shoulders the dreams of Ohara's most precious treasure, Nico Robin.

To be continued.

Author's Notes: Still wondering if I should finish editing a full chapter, so here's the prelude after so long.

Tengoku no Kotei is too busy.
