Tohsaka Rin was tired.
Specifically, she was tired of walking to school every day.
Now, such a thing would have been considered laughable. How could the head of the Tohsaka Household, an experienced magus no less, become tired of simply walking to Homurahara Academy every single day?
It was not as if her school was particularly far away from the family manor, only a handful of blocks across Fuyuki to get there, and it was hardly a hassle for Rin herself. By all accounts, it was a perfectly reasonable route to school and she had no right to complain about it.
However, Tohsaka Rin didn't really care.
She hated waking up early every day as it was, but forcing herself out of bed and trucking along half-awake to school was a chore all in itself. Her father would have lectured her for being lazy and said some stupid speech about upholding the pride of the Tohsaka family.
But he wasn't around to say such things, so why should Rin bother with upholding his stupid ideals?
… Maybe the extended peace they enjoyed in the aftermath of the Fifth Holy Grail War was starting to influence her mindset a bit.
Well, whatever.
As it stood, Tohsaka Rin was in the middle of grafting a large summoning circle in her attic. She carefully scratched the chalk along the old wooden floors and seamlessly created a teleportation circle, one that would instantly teleport her to the entrance of Homurahara Academy and save her precious minutes of walking time.
Of course, it was purely experimental. Rin had never dabbled in teleportation magic before now, as it was a naturally complex form that required intensive study to avoid any… accidents from occurring. In that regard, Rin had spent hours every single night for the last week studying this particular form of magic.
Unfortunately, that meant Rin didn't get much sleep last night, or the previous night. Her grogginess was to the point that Archer had to wake her up today, something that he was annoyingly determined to hold over her head.
But it was all worth it in the end. Rin was completely confident in her perfection of this technique. She stood over the circle with a proud smile on her face, her uniform ready and gemstones in hand to perform the spell.
"Okay, everything's ready…" Rin muttered. "The spell required absolute focus, so I can't afford to lose concentration for a moment…"
Saying that, the young magus closed her eyes and cleared her mind of any distractions. Using the spell she had memorized by the letter, Rin began to chant as the mana around her began to swirl and glow.
… Though, with her eyes closed like this, her drowsiness began to take a toll on her. Rin tried to fight it off, but it soon became a struggle just to stay awake properly and she had to stifle a yawn. The raven-haired girl shook her head, fighting to get through the chant as quickly as possible.
Eventually, her efforts paid off, as Rin felt a sensation come over her when the chant was completed. Her body shifted from feeling too heavy to as light as a feather, as her surroundings blurred into nothingness. Her entire form became enveloped in a bright light, and Rin felt all of her senses dull for just a single moment…
… before she came back to herself in the next moment, and Rin cautiously opened a single eye to survey her situation.
She was no longer in her dark and dust-riddled attic. One glance around the gated off rooftops confirmed to her that she was in Homurahara Academy, and she could both hear and see the hundreds of students down below as they made their way inside.
She wasn't exactly at the entrance like she intended, but Rin still made it to her school nonetheless.
"Yes! Success!" Rin cheered, pumping her fist into the air. "There's still some kinks to work out, but I managed to make it to school in one piece. I just need to let Sakura know I'm… Huh?"
Rin had unconsciously reached for her phone in her skirt so she could call Sakura, but there was a little issue with that particular action.
Namely, the fact she didn't have her phone. Or a skirt.
It was right about then that Rin realized how chilly she felt, despite having picked out a warm uniform for today. With a horrified expression on her face, the raven-haired girl slowly looked down.
"..."
… She was completely naked.
In a situation like this, there was only one thing for her to do.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Letting out a scream that was shrill enough to shatter any nearby windows, Rin rushed to cover herself and got as low as she could. Her face exploded into a shade of deep crimson, pure shame and embarrassment overtaking her entire soul and replacing all of the grogginess that was so prevalent just a moment ago.
Her back hit the edge of the roof, out of sight from anyone that could have possibly seen her up there. Her heart felt like it was going a mile a minute from the shame alone, beating in such a way that the magus almost felt like she was going to have a heart attack. Goosebumps formed all along her bare skin from how cold the early morning air was, and she began to shiver.
She… she needed to calm down. She was a Tohsaka! In situations like this, no matter how unorthodox they were, she had to assess the position she was in and think logically.
Rin took a few deep breaths, doing the process slowly for over a minute until her heart finally calmed down to a reasonable pace. Once that was finally done, the ravenette went over the facts in her head.
She was… naked, both figuratively and literally. She had no clothes, no cellphone or gemstones she could use to transport herself back to her manor. The circle was two-ways, of that Rin had made certain, but now she had no means of getting back as efficiently as she came.
Her mind went to Archer first, but that thought was very quickly discarded. It wasn't as if she even had any Command Seals to summon him to her in the first place, but she absolutely did not want to consider him of all people finding her naked, especially in these circumstances. There was no doubt in her mind that her former Servant would never allow Rin to live this down.
Rin's thoughts went to Sakura next. Right now she would most certainly be practicing in the Archery Club with Ayako and the other members before classes began, and in her mind Rin wanted to get to her younger sister for help. Unlike Archer, Sakura wouldn't be likely to belittle or mock her over this. She would certainly be… surprised, sure, but her sister was too gentle to hold this over her head.
However, would Rin herself be really okay with going to her like… like this? The two of them had only just gotten to a point where their relationship had been fully mended, but could she really stomach the idea of going to Sakura and explaining this without dying and possibly ruining the progress she made with her?
"..."
Then again… It wasn't like she had any other options, did she? Though Shirou was an option, she didn't particularly trust him of all people to help her out in a situation like this. His intentions would have been good, but there would have been far too high of a risk of them accidentally getting seen, so Rin scratched that idea.
Issei wasn't even a consideration. Their relationship was strained on a good day, and Rin couldn't even stomach the idea of him seeing her in this state, nor could she imagine the horror of him using this as a kind of leverage over her. Tohsaka Rin wasn't a fan of showing her weaknesses to other people.
… Maybe she could spend the rest of her time on the roof? It was definitely still cold, but Rin would prefer sitting in cold winter weather than risk being seen by any student in Homurahara. Her prim and proper reputation that she had spent years building up would be destroyed in a single instant by then, all because of her own short-sightedness.
Again, she was happy Archer wasn't here.
Click!
"!"
As soon as Rin heard the sound of the door opening, her legs carried her away to safety. She practically slid into cover, being a large stack of boxes towards the edge of the roof, and managed to hide herself just in time before she heard footsteps and the babble of a trio of familiar students.
"A-Ah, it's really cold up here…"
"I would have preferred eating in homeroom like usual."
"Quit whining, guys! It's nice to have a change of scenery every now and again, isn't it?"
Rin did a quick peek from behind her cover, and her fears were instantly confirmed. The so-called 'Track Girl Trio' had come up to the roof to have their lunch, with the leader of the bunch being her usual bombastic self with the other two trailing behind her.
Rin considered them for a moment, but she quietly shook her head and went back into cover. Yukika and Kane probably wouldn't tell a soul about this, but Rin didn't trust that loud-mouthed Kaede to keep it shut for a single second. It was pretty much suicide to trust her on anything.
… Still, it looked like those three weren't going to leave anytime soon, so Rin needed to find another way out.
Her eyes quickly scanned around the roof, and quickly she found a metal staircase. She knew it led down to the ground level of the school, and it was her best means of escape. Rin took another glance, and after confirming that the three of them were entirely lost in their own chatter, Rin steeled herself with a deep breath.
'Now!'
Rin took off quickly and silently, her feet barely making any sound as she hurried to the staircase. Though, as soon as her feet came into contact with the frigid metal, a cold shock ran up her entire body and she nearly yelped. She didn't allow it to take her for very long, as the young magus hurriedly moved her way down the stairs in spite of the cold.
Rin made a little more noise than she would have liked, with the old metal stairs creaking and clanking as she descended, but eventually the young magus made her way down to the very bottom of the academy. Being out in the open like this, Rin quickly dashed towards a line of bushes near the entrance of the academy.
She dived into the area without a second thought, taking a moment to breathe as she started forming new plans.
The entrance to the school was right there, but that was as much of a detriment as it was salvation. Her home was a ways away from the academy, and her chances of successfully avoiding detection the moment she left school grounds were slim at the very best. If she wanted to leave, she needed to at least have some clothes on her.
In short, she had to seek out Sakura. She knew that the Archery Club was a straight shot from her position, but it was still a hike from here to there. Plus, she couldn't exactly guarantee that Sakura would still be in the club by the time she got there.
Ugh, why did she have to lose her phone?! It'd be so easy to just call her and let her know where she was!
'Damn it… Wait, is that…?'
Rin's eyes went wide as she found a certain object laying on the ground, a flip phone that was laying just outside of the bushes. Rin instantly leaped forward and grabbed it, and she quickly turned the thing on. Luckily for her, it still had battery life in it.
Now, all she needed to do was dial Sakura's number, and she'd be safe!
…
"..."
Tohsaka Rin stared at the screen for a long while, her mind going blank as a realization dawned on her.
She didn't know Sakura's number.
How did she forget to memorize the number of her own sister?!
"Gah, come on!" Rin cursed to herself in a harsh whisper, trying desperately to remember Sakura's phone number. Her mind repeatedly came up blank, and she ended up mashing the keys in frustration more than anything else. "Damn it, why do I have the worst luck today…"
"Shirou!"
"Eep!" Rin yelped, causing her to drop the phone she was holding. In a split second reaction, her body moved to catch it to avoid gaining the attention of whoever had just spoken.
… In the process, it had ended up right between her thighs. Right above her crotch, specifically.
"Ah, Saber." Rin looked up as soon as she heard that name, and much to her horror, both Shirou and Saber were standing mere meters away from the bush that the raven-haired magus was currently hiding in. "Did you find my phone?"
"I have not," She replied, looking displeased with herself. "I retraced all of your steps down to the letter, but it seems your cell phone isn't in the building at all."
"Huh, that's strange…" Shirou remarked with a raised eyebrow, then sighed and turned his head. "Does that mean it's outside somewhere? But that's so much more ground to cover, and we don't have all day…"
"Indeed, the school is quite large." Saber agreed with him. "A task like this is more suited for Rider's speed."
Rin watched their conversation in stunned silence, not daring to move a single muscle to avoid alerting either of them to her presence. She didn't know why the hell Saber of all people was in Homurahara, but whatever had brought her here had resulted in the two of them looking for Shirou's lost phone.
"..."
Was… Was that the phone in between Rin's legs?
No, no. That was impossible. There was no way that her luck could have been so horrendous that his lost phone was the one resting right on her crotch. That simply wasn't a consideration. Besides, since Saber was right there, maybe there was a chance to call her for help…?
…
Nope, that wasn't going to happen. Getting around Shirou was already impossible, but Rin didn't even want to consider showing herself to Saber in this deplorable state.
"Oh! I have an idea!" Shirou suddenly said. "Saber, call my phone. If it's nearby, we might be able to hear it ring."
Saber smiled. "Great idea, Shirou!" With that said, the King of Britain pulled out a cell phone that Rin didn't even know she had, and dialed a number that must have been Shioru's.
"!"
Rin instantly felt a buzzing between her legs, along with the muffled sound of a ring tone. It vibrated right between her legs, and since it was right on top of her crotch, t-that meant…
"Hm, I don't hear anything, Shirou…"
"Keep calling. We'll take a look around."
Tohsaka Rin bit down on her lip, her hands digging into the soft grass to avoid making any type of noise for them to hear. Saber and Shirou wandered around, with Saber holding her cell phone in her hand and repeatedly calling Shirou's number in an attempt to track it down, all while it buzzed away right on Rin's crotch.
Warm spikes of electricity ran up her spine as it tingled against her pussy. She could feel a wetness begin between her legs, which was growing increasingly by the second due to the intensity of the vibrations. Somehow, in some way, Rin had managed to drop the phone in such a way where it had stuck perfectly against her clitoris, which further added to the stimulation.
Really, just how unlucky could she be in one day…?
"Hold on, Shirou… I think I hear a ring tone…"
Rin's eyes widened, and in an instant she saw Saber make her way towards the bushes where the young magus was hiding. If she didn't move, Saber would see her and her reputation in the woman's eyes would be tarnished forever. Even then, if she tried to leave, there was a chance she'd be seen anyway and be forced to endure twice the humiliation.
Eventually, as she saw Saber get on her hands and knees and start to crawl in, Rin knew she had to make a choice.
In a flurry of motion, Rin let go of the cell phone and quickly scurried away from where Saber had been crawling. Britain's legendary King let out an uncharacteristic yelp as Rin crawled away to a safe distance, her breathing ragged and face bright red as she took a moment to catch herself.
"Saber! What happened…?"
"Ah, it must have been some type of animal. It scurried away so fast I couldn't see it…" Saber muttered. "Oh! Here's your phone, Shirou!"
"Oh, that's great! But… why is it so wet…?"
Rin suddenly decided that she didn't want to hear any more from that conversation, as she quickly hurried away while her face was on the verge of a nuclear meltdown.
Rin kept up her crawling pace after that, not daring to stop for a moment out of fear of being seen by anyone else she may have known. Eventually, thankfully, she managed to make her way to the main building of the Archery Club. At this point, everyone was likely to be in classes, so her chances of actually finding Sakura in the club were next to none.
Still, getting into the building itself wouldn't have been a bad thing. At the very least, it would have been empty, and Rin could try to at least steal a uniform to cover herself up. She could worry about apologizing later.
Eventually, Rin managed to sneak her way inside of the Archery Club. By the grace of God, the building itself appeared to be vacant as soon as she got in. Still, she was as careful as possible as she made her way inside. Her footsteps creaked against the old wooden flooring, making her wince every time she walked.
She didn't come to this place terribly often in the past, but she started coming here more regularly to watch Sakura practice before school started. As a result, she memorized the interior of the building well enough to know where the rooms were. Every member of the Archery Club kept their uniforms in the changing room, which was down the hall from the main practice course. Rin had a decent chance of getting there and stealing a uniform, but from there—
"Rin?"
Tohsaka Rin nearly jumped out of her own skin, quickly turning around and pointing at whoever had just called out to her as if she were about to conjure a spell.
A certain, purple-haired woman wearing glasses and a black sweater looked back at her in confusion, and it was from there that Rin's eyes widened in surprise. "R-Rider?! What the hell are you doing here?!"
In response, Rider simply tilted her head to one side. "It's strange for you to be asking that question. You of all people know I follow Sakura wherever she goes, including school."
"..."
Right. Of course she knew that. Rider was always two steps behind Sakura no matter what, and the fact that Rin even asked that question at all made her look stupid.
Ugh…
"Well, besides that…" Rider went on, her eyes glancing downwards. "Can I ask why you're in the nude?"
… Right, she was naked.
Rider was seeing her naked.
"Gah!" Rin quickly covered herself up, though it might have been completely useless at that point. "I-It's a very long story, Rider, b-but I didn't do this on purpose! I swear!"
"If you say so, I'll believe you." Rider mercifully offered her. "Though, judging by your state, I assume you need some help?"
"Y-Yes… Actually, yes!" Rin suddenly perked up, her humiliation fading away for just a moment as hope began to overtake her. "Rider! I need you to get me back home! With your speed, it should only take a minute or so to get back without anyone seeing me like this!"
"An escort back home?" Rider brought a hand up to her chin to think for a moment, then she nodded. "I'd be happy to help you. You're Sakura's sister, after all."
"Great! We can—"
"Hey! Who's yapping out here?"
Rin paled, her hope plummeting down as she heard another voice, followed by the sound of some footsteps rapidly approaching where she was.
Rider gave the young magus a quick glance, her expression saying "Go hide." and Rin quickly followed that advice. She rushed to hide behind some cover, which proved to be a stack of cardboard boxes containing supplies for the club. Rin quickly paced and ducked behind it, just in time before the surprise guest revealed themselves.
The guest, as luck would have it, was Mitsuzuri Ayako. She came into the room dressed in full uniform and looked around the place as annoyed as one could be.
"Hello, Ayako." Rider calmly called out to her, pretending as though she was the only one in the building.
"R-Rider?" Ayako's annoyance shifted to a look of pure fluster, one that was definitely uncanny on the girl's face, as she looked at Rider. "W-What the hell are you doing here? Are you looking for Sakura?"
"Waiting for her, actually." Rider corrected her, smirking as she walked a little closer to Ayako. "I'm just exploring the school grounds in the meantime. I assumed the club was empty."
To that, Ayako sighed. "Yeah, well, I got assigned to all the grunt work around here and I need to finish restocking all the supplies before the others get here." Then she looked at Rider. "So, were you the one making all of that noise? I could have sworn I heard two voices…"
"I assure you, Ayako, I'm the only other one here." Rider said calmly, stating it as though it were pure fact. "But I do apologize for disturbing your peace, Ayako. Especially when you're in the middle of something so strenuous."
"H-Hey, it's not that bad. You don't need to apologize like that…" Once again, Ayako seemed to get uncharacteristically flustered as she took a step back from Rider. "But, you know, you're not really an official member so you might get yelled at for trespassing… H-Hey, why are you staring at me?!"
"Oh, my apologies. I was simply getting lost in your beauty." Rider said with a smile. "That outfit is lovely, as well. It compliments your charming looks, Ayako~"
"Y-You—!" Ayako's face went beet red, and she scowled as she turned away from Rider. "J-Just get out of here already! Ugh, you distracted me from all the unpacking I still have to do…"
With a huff, Mitsuzuri Ayako left the room far quicker than what was considered normal. Rider simply stood there for a moment, before she chuckled to herself and came to Rin's hiding spot. "We're in the clear, Rin. I can escort you home now."
"... You have a crush on Mitsuzuri. That's new." Rin blanched. "I don't think I've ever seen her that off-guard in my life. I'd tease her about it, but that'd mean admitting I was here."
"I just think she's an… interesting woman, is all." Rider replied with an easy smile, which just made Rin shiver for some reason. "Now then, allow me to escort you back home."
"R-Right, we should— Gah?!" Before Rin even had time to think properly, Rider had gone and scooped her up into a bridal carry. Rin took a second to process the type of position she was in, and then she exploded into a bright shade of red. "R-Rider!"
"Not to worry. You're safe in my arms." Sakura's Servant assured her, and in a flash Rider had leapt out of the room in blinding speed. Rin had gone from being embarrassed to holding onto the woman for dear life, her eyes shut as she hoped with all her might that she could get back home in peace.
When they suddenly came to a stop, Rin opened her eyes, thinking that she was finally back home.
… Instead, she was right in the middle of Homurahara's Courtyard, where many of the students who were out and about had suddenly stopped to gawk at the pair that had seemingly shown up out of nowhere.
"..."
Rin could see Shirou, Sakura, Issei, pretty much everyone she knew on some level. Even Saber was there, and all of them had stared at her with varying levels of shock and surprise.
"Pardon us, everyone." Rider said calmly. "Rin came to school naked. I'm escorting her home. Good day."
With that, Rider took off once again, and the blinding speed did nothing to quell the sheer amount of horror that lingered within Rin as they made their way back to her manor.
Certainly, they would all understand if Rin never left her home for the rest of her life, right?
