(Homecoming Plans)

*Highlands High School*

Allison, Mai, and Carrie were chatting amongst themselves during study hour about the upcoming homecoming which was on friday.

"So, did you and Carrie manage to buy an outfit for homecoming? I already got my dress ready so I won't have anything to worry about.' Allison had spoken to his friend while he waited for an answer as Mai and Carrie both nodded their heads in confirmation which made Allison smile.

"My mother managed to lend me an outfit that she brought so I can't wait to show you guys on friday, It's rather beautiful per say" Mai had spoken back while Carrie began to chime into the conversation.

"That's wonderful to hear, I've managed to get my outfit while I was shopping with Russell so I'm glad that's out of the way" Carrie had chimed in while doing some of her homework with excitement regarding the upcoming event.

"I'm really glad to hear this, I hope that we can all have a good time on friday and even if some of us don't have dates to homecoming, I just hope we can all have a good time" Allison had spoken back to his friends as both Carrie and Mai nodded their heads in agreement while Mai had begun to speak.

"I know Charlotte has Emma while Carrie has Russell but this doesn't mean that me, you, Anya, and Nancy can't have fun so let's all just enjoy ourselves, okay?" Mai had chimed into the conversation while Allison nodded his head in agreement as they looked over to see Greta and Principal Sheldon approaching them as they were ready to converse with them.

"Hello! How is everybody doing today! Are you three excited for homecoming this upcoming friday? I'm am!" Principal Sheldon had asked the three friends in a happy tone of voice while Greta waved hello to her friends while Allison began to answer the question.

"Good Afternoon, Principal Sheldon, we're just discussing plans for homecoming and we're doing good as well, thanks for asking!" Allison had spoken back while Carrie and Mai nodded their heads in support which made the principal smile.

"Wonderful! I hope to see you guys there and we just came here to see how you guys were doing after the whole Cynthia ordeal. I heard that Anya has gotten herself in quite some fun times" Principal Sheldon had spoken back once more to the three friends as they nodded their heads in understatement whie Carrie began to speak.

"I must agree, Anya called me yesterday night to tell me about the past week and It was quite eventful for her but I'm just glad all of that is done and over with" Carrie had spoken back to Principal Sheldon while the older gentleman smiled back as Greta began to speak.

"By the way, you guys can bring some small refreshments to homecoming as well and if you guys do than that'll be extra credit but only if you guys want to of course" Greta had advised to her three friends as she was met with them nodding their heads in understandment as Allison began to respond back.

"Really? I might think about the offer but I kinda don't wanna carry too much stuff on me as well.." Allison had spoken back in a rather hesitant tone of voice while Carrie began to chime in.

"If possible, I can see if my mother can pick you up and you can bring whatever it is you were planning so you don't have to worry about a thing" Carrie had advised to her friend as this made Allison smile as he spoke once more.

"Thanks, you are always there when things get rather difficult but are you planning on doing the extra credit?" Allison asked his friend as Carrie shocked her head in declinement.

"Nah, I'm just not interested but I hope it doesn't offend Greta or anything.." Carrie had answered back as she looked over to Greta at the last part of the sentence.

"It's okay! It's just a optional offer so don't beat yourself too much over it but we do have to head out as well, we were just confirming if you three were going or not" Greta had spoken back to Carrie as she and Principal Sheldon proceeded to prepare themselves in leaving the room as the principal began to speak.

"I'll see you guys on friday and you guys can drop off the refreshments in the gym since that's when it's being held" Principal Sheldon had advised to the trio as he and Greta waved Allison and the others goodbye before leaving the classroom while Mai yawned in tiredness as she spoke once more.

"I'm quite tired, It's been quite the long day studying for exams that's in a few weeks.." Mai had spoken out in a rather tired voice while Allison and Carrie nodded their heads in agreement.

"I agree, this semester has been quite eventful and it's only the first month! But, it just shows that anything could happen and we just gotta prepare for it" Carrie had spoken back before digging into her backpack to bring out a notebook and a pencil in order to take notes.

"You're right, first it was the whole Cynthia thing, homecoming, and now we got exams all in a short span of time so It's really crazy to think about it but, we'll get through it, like we always do" Allison had spoken back to his friends as this made Carrie and Mai smile warmly at him which made Allison return the favor as he smiled as well.

"Hey, we should all have that pizza on saturday since we've never really gotten the chance to do so, how does that sound and It's on the house so don't worry about money or anything" Carrie had suggested to Allison and Mai as her suggestion was met with nods of confirmation from the pair as they showed excitement for the upcoming event.

"That sounds wonderful, I always wanted to try out a pizza so I can't turn down an offer like that and that gives us a good time to talk about homecoming as well" Allison had spoken back in support of Carrie's idea while Mai gave a thumbs up indicating that she was in fact going to the event as this made Carrie smile.

"Niccce, I'll definitely be sure to take you guys to that best pizza spot in New York! The same spot that my father took me when I was a little girl so I'd figured to do the same to the ones I love and care for" Carrie had spoken back in a tone of excitement as she looked at her two friends and she could tell that they were excited for the upcoming event as she stared out of the window as she could remember her father's voice which made her smile.

"I hope you are proud of me father, I'm making so many friends this year. That's the least I can do to keep your spirit happy.." Carrie had thought to herself while turning around to continue to converse with her friends as she was looking forward to the next coming days.
