Nightshade and Opalite found themselves face to face with Thalia.
"Opalite, let's tear this robot to shreds." Nightshade said.
"Love to." Opalite grinned excitedly. "I wanna see if she's more fun than the other scrap bots we've used before."
Thalia's eyes glowed bright purple and she suddenly dashed straight towards Nightshade and Opalite with zooming speed.
Before Nightshade could activate her Quirk, Thalia punched Nightshade's stomach that sent her flying to the wall. Opalite ran forward and fired two spheres of light energy at Thalia, who swiftly dodged away and released multiple rings of purple energy from her eyes at Opalite. Then, Thalia unleashed two large purple energy beams from her eyes that attacked Nightshade and Opalite at the same time.
Nightshade and Opalite jumped up in the air as they activated their Quirks and charged forward. Opalite threw out a large sphere of light energy that exploded and released several light orbs while Nightshade began rotating her left arm in a clockwise direction and condensed into ten umbrakinetic balls around her before directing them one by one to hit Thalia's position. But Thalia effortlessly evaded the incoming attacks and stretched both arms to grab Nightshade and Opalite's throats. She then slammed them to the floor several times before tossing them to the wall.
"Looks like we've got ourselves a level-up robot." Opalite said with a glare.
"You can say that again." Nightshade agreed.
As Nightshade and Opalite jumped back on their feet, Thalia charged forward again.
Opalite leapt upwards and spun around while firing light beams at Thalia from her hands, but Thalia managed to avoid each incoming beam coming in her way. Thalia delivered many purple energized punches that sailed Opalite away to the platform. Nightshade shot out a barrage of umbrakinetic blasts at Thalia in rapid speed. But Thalia zigzagged past every barrage of blasts and rapidly punched Nightshade with her stretchable fists.
At the viewing window, Aurora and Daku showed calmness while observing the battle, not noticing the zero reaction on Rhina's face.
Nightshade and Opalite managed to stand up.
"Nightshade, are you alright?" Opalite asked in worry.
"I'm fine." Nightshade said. She delivered a glare at Thalia. "Let's just take down this scrap metal."
"You got it." Opalite nodded.
Before Nightshade and Opalite could strike, Thalia unexpectedly dashed forward with blazing purple fists. She unleashed a flurry of rapid punches and flips before finally kicking Opalite and Nightshade away. Nightshade put her hands together and created a large ball of umbrakinetic energy. She then fired it as a beam of umbrakinetic energy at Thalia, leaving Opalite to fire a barrage of light lasers at the Synthezoid from both hands.
After that combinative attack, Thalia cracked her neck side to side with glowing eyes.
"Error techniques." Thalia muttered.
Thalia's body was suddenly engulfed in a blazingly purple aura. She dashed forward and attacked Nightshade and Opalite in a rapid flurry of punches and kicks. She then grabbed their necks and sprang high in the air before diving down and slamming them into the ground in a large explosion
On the floor, Opalite slowly pushed herself up with an angry face. She turned her head to Nightshade, who laid on the floor unconsciously.
"Kyra!" Opalite cried out.
Opalite stood up on her feet in a slight slow-moving manner. She managed to lift Nightshade off the floor and on her feet.
"Come on, Nightshade. We have to keep fighting." Opalite said. "We need a foolproof plan if we're gonna beat this scrap metal."
"Why bother? Daku has finally created a scrap bot that is twice as strong, fast, and durable than the other robots he's built." Nightshade said. "I never thought I would say these words, but we can't beat this robot."
"Are you kidding me right now?! Are you seriously giving up?!" Opalite snapped. "The Kyra I know would never talk like an insolent coward running from a fight!"
"What was that?" Nightshade said with a threatening face.
"You heard me." Opalite retorted. "The Kyra I know has always been strong, intelligent, feisty, and strong willed to the bone. Your father entrusted me to be by your side at all times and I'm not going to disobey it now. So, are you still gonna quit or are you gonna take another stand and fight?"
Nightshade listened to Opalite's words for a moment.
[Flashback]
Zircon and a thirteen-year-old Opalite attentively watched as a thirteen-year-old Kyra had completely taken down every Quirk challenger in the dojo. It was up to this day Kyra has officially earned her skills as a ninja.
"You have done well, my daughter. You have made me proud." Zircon said with a smile.
Zircon slowly raised his arm and touched Opalite's shoulder.
"Opalite, I have a job for you." Zircon told Opalite. "Since your Quirk training has exceeded my expectations, I'm entrusting you to become my daughter's confidant. If anything happens to me, you will follow and protect her with your life. Can I trust you to handle such a task?"
Opalite's eyes widened. She couldn't believe it. Her master is trusting her to stay by her own friend's side.
Kyra gave a soft smile and a trusting nod to Opalite.
"I will. Thank you, Master Zircon." Opalite smiled.
[Flashback Ends]
Nightshade closed her eyes with a smile.
"You're right…like always." Nightshade replied. "Dad couldn't pick a better partner at my side."
Opalite flushed, but she let out a confident smile.
"So, what's the plan?" Opalite asked.
"Just one." Nightshade replied with a grin. "Remember one shot, one strike?"
"How can I forget that?" Opalite grinned back. "Let's do this."
Nightshade and Opalite charged forward. Thalia's hands and eyes glowed blazingly purple as she dashed forward. She thrusted her hands forward, firing purple energy blasts from her hands and purple lasers from her eyes all at once. Nightshade and Opalite swiftly dodged energy blasts and energy lasers coming in their way with zooming speed and incredible agility. They exchanged knowing nods and parted away in different directions.
Nightshade generated two katana out of umbrakinetic energy from both hands and dashed forward as she delivered a quick flurry of slashes at Thalia from both blades before kicking her away. Opalite came rushing behind Thalia as her fingertips were surrounded with light energy. She then began slashing Thalia at rapid speed. Together, Opalite and Nightshade dashed forward, slashing Thalia back and forth twelve times before ending the robot with a final slash.
With that, Thalia collapsed on her knees.
"The third and final test completed! Nightshade and Opalite win!" Daku confirmed.
Nightshade and Opalite shared victorious smiles as they high-fived each other.
"Nightshade and Opalite have succeeded to their potential." Daku said. "All third tests are officially concluded. Now, onto the advanced and master tests until they're finally ready what the empresses have prepared them for."
While Aurora focused on what Daku has in store for the Six Sages, Rhina glanced sideways at Coppelia, who was already recording the battles and the Iron Maiden's schematics.
