The closet door swung open, but as Eri and Satsuki peered inside, they could only pout in disappointment. They then closed the door, only to immediately swing it open again, pouting once more when they found nothing.
"Eri-chan? Satsuki-chan? What are you doing?" asked Izuku, walking into his dorm room where he found the little ones.
"We're trying to find monsters, Izu-nii! Gero!' exclaimed Satsuki, her and Eri turning to look up at the greenie.
"We want to meet a monster like Sully-san!" added Eri with a squeak.
Izuku's mouth twitched into a smile. Earlier the little ones got to watch Monsters, Inc. and it seemed that they became fascinated with monsters. He was honestly glad for that since it meant they weren't scared like most children would be.
"Is that so? While I do hope that you can make some monster friends, I don't know if you'll be able to find any monsters in my closet," said Izuku.
"How come, Papa?" asked the unicorn as she and the tadpole frowned.
Izuku scooped up the little ones into his arms and then headed out of the room and back down to the main floor where dinner should be ready.
"Well," started Izuku as he carried the little ones. "If you remember, the monsters only appear in children's closets. I'm much too old for the monsters to want to visit."
Satsuki pouted once more as she crossed her arms. "But we want to meet the monsters."
"I'm sure you will one day, Satsuki-chan," replied the greenie with a small laugh. "But another thing you have to remember is that the monsters are just as afraid of humans as humans are of monsters, so it won't be easy to meet one."
The chibis whined slightly at the fact that their quest to meet a monster might have ended before it began.
"Not fair, gero."
"Out of curiosity, what would you two have done if you got to meet a monster?"
"We would ask them to play with us, Papa!" squeaked out Eri, her big, red eyes sparkling with joy.
"I wanted to see if there were any froggy monsters, gero!" added Satsuki, fidgeting in excitement in Izuku's arms.
This made Izuku laugh once more. "If you two want, I can talk to some of the others and we can try to find some monsters for you to meet."
He knew it was a big promise, considering real monsters didn't exist, but he just couldn't say no to these two.
"Yay!" exclaimed the chibis.
Especially with how happy Eri and Satsuki were right now. Maybe he could talk to All Might and see if he'd be willing to convince some of the more monstrous looking Pros out there, like Shishido for example, to meet the little ones for a day.
He'll also have to do some research to see if there were any other monster-like Pros out there that Eri and Satsuki hadn't met already. It'd be easier to convince the girls that the Pros are monsters if it's their first time meeting them.
CHAPTER END
-:-
A bit shorter than previous chapters, but congrats to those who correctly guessed Monsters, Inc. I would have made this chapter longer, but I miscalculated how much I could do with the idea of Eri and Satsuki trying to find monsters in the closest.
Anyway, as of right now this fic will be going on an official "hiatus" of sorts and will be marked as complete. Despite that though, more chapters will come when I can. And despite THAT, Eri and Satsuki's Disney adventures are not quite done yet, as at some point I'll be writing out a side story called "Eri and Satsuki's Golden Disney Delight", which will focus on the animated Disney movies from Disney's Golden Era AKA from when Walt Disney was still alive. When that'll come out, I'm not sure as I want to try and focus on some of my other fics for a while. So apologies for that.
Also, I can't believe it's actually been a year since I first wrote this story.
