Next chapter should be longer.

"Do you know where we're going?" Zoisite questioned Nephrite.

"Yes, I know where we're going. We're going to Kurogane and Sakira's home." Nephrite answered, frustrated.

"Dumbass. We're lost, aren't we?" Kunzite demanded, becoming frustrated.

"Maybe just a little." Zoisite sheepishly admitted.

Jadeite smacked his face as Kunzite stood there in utter shock with twitching eyes.

"Hey, guys. What's going on?" Rei and Makoto inquired, walking over with Minako and Ami.

"We're lost." Kunzite grumbled.

"We're not lost; we know where we're going." Zoisite insisted, trying not to look stupid in front of his girlfriend.

"Where are you going?" Ami inquired, watching Zoisite with a smile.

"That way to Kurogane and Sakira's home." Zoisite confidently answered, pointing east.

"Kurogane and Sakira live that way, to the north." Usagi insisted, walking over with Mamoru.

"No, no. That can't be correct." Zoisite argued, trying not to become too embarrassed.

"No, she's correct, Love." Ami agreed with Usagi with a smile.

"Usagi and Mamoru have been to Kurogane and Sakira's home more than any of us. It makes sense they would know where to go." Makoto insisted with a smile.

"We kind of figured you were lost before you said anything. You were standing around, looking like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off." Rei insisted with a smile.

"What happened to the map and instructions I gave you?" Mamoru questioned as they all started walking, following Usagi and Minako.

"Uhh…" Jadeite and Zoisite started, embarrassed.

"What instructions?" Nephrite questioned.

"What map?" Kunzite demanded, glaring at Jadeite and Zoisite.

"I gave them to Zoisite the other day because I had to pick up Usagi from her place, so we were going to be there later than you four—who insisted on being there early." Mamoru explained, watching Usagi and Minako leading the way, arm-in-arm and giggling.

"What happened to them?" Kunzite demanded, narrowing his eyes at Jadeite and Zoisite.

"Jadeite lit them on fire." Zoisite quickly threw Jadeite under the bus, fearing the look in Kunzite's eyes.

"Yeah—after you swore up and down that the directions were simple enough that you could find your way without them and in your sleep." Jadeite immediately argued, defending himself.

"I'm surrounded by idiots." Kunzite grumbled, ready to smack his brothers upside their heads.

"Kunzite! Come on; relax a little. We found you; you're not going to wander the streets all night. We'll always find you just like you'll always find us." Minako cheerfully insisted, removing herself from Usagi and connecting herself to Kunzite. At the same time, Mamoru took Minako's place with Usagi.

"I love you, but next time, don't get such a big ego and do something so stupid." Rei insisted, taking Jadeite's hand.

"And never be afraid to admit when you're lost—or made a mistake. I'll always love you." Ami happily told Zoisite, walking next to him.

"At least you were able to remain calm this time." Makoto proudly told Nephrite, leaning against him.

Ten Minutes Later:

"Oh, wow. We were so sure you would be here far before we even got here." Haruka and Michiru greeted the group in front of a large gate.

"We would have if these two didn't get us lost." Kunzite grumbled.

"I had to wait for Mamoru to come get me; he said he had something he had to do." Usagi cheerfully answered.

"We were just running a little behind." Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako sheepishly admitted.

"No Luna or Artemis?" Michiru inquired, confused.

"We're here." Luna and Artemis spoke up, out of breath.

"I got separated from Usagi and Mamoru somehow before bumping into Artemis." Luna answered as Usagi lifted her into her arms.

"I'm sorry, Luna." Usagi apologized.

"It's not your fault; I got distracted by something." Luna admitted, taking a deep breath.

"This one left before I was even awake. I'm just glad I knew where to go." Artemis spoke, annoyed.

"Sorry Artemis." Minako guiltily apologized as Artemis jumped onto her shoulders.

"So, you haven't been here long, I'm guessing." Mamoru changed the subject, watching Haruka and Michiru.

"Yeah, you're not inside yet." Usagi and Minako noted, stunned.

"Yeah, no; some bitch over the intercom won't let us in." Haruka crudely answered, stunning the others. Not how she said it, but rather the fact that they weren't allowed in.

"Did you tell her why you were here?" Ami questioned.

"Or who you were?" Minako inquired.

"Yeah. We told her that we were friends with Sakira and that we were here for the Christmas party." Michiru answered.

"Did you tell the woman your name? I know that sometimes places like this require full names to get in—especially for parties." Rei questioned.

"Yeah, we explained who we were as well." Haruka answered.

"Excuse me. I'll get us in." Usagi determinedly and confidently spoke, pushing her way to the intercom.

"I already told you you're not getting in." A lady spoke.

"Hello, my name is Usagi Tsukino; I'm a friend of Sakira and Kurogane's. We're here for the Christmas Party." Usagi politely spoke back.

"As I already told the others, I cannot let you in. As far as I am aware, there is no party happening. You cannot come in." The lady rudely spoke.

"Is something going on?" Sumire and Namika questioned, walking over with Himawari, Akari, Kiku, and Tsubaki.

"This lady won't buzz us in. Not even me—and I'm here every week." Usagi replied, confused.

"She also says there's no party that she knows of." Rei added.

"Hey, let us in already. We're Sakira's best friends; we're here all the damn time." Tsubaki demanded over the intercom.

"I do not care who you are; you are not getting in. Now, you need to leave before I call security." The woman warned Tsubaki.

"That's weird. I'll text Sakira and see what's going on." Sumire insisted, getting out her phone.

Sumire à Sakira:

Hey, everyone is the gate.

But the person who is supposed to let us in, won't.

Apparently, the others were told there was no party.

Is that true?

R u no longer hosting the Christmas party?

Sakira à Sumire:

Sorry.

I think she's new.

Yes, we're still having the Christmas party.

Riku, Hinote, Mizu, & Kaze are already here.

We're just waiting for u & the others.

Kurogane is even wearing a festive outfit.

Though—that may just be for me.

I'll talk to the lady & get u in.

"Sakira's on it. She said she thinks the lady's new. But the Christmas party is still most definitely happening." Sumire informed everyone.

"Do you hear that? You might as just let us in now." Tsubaki ordered, pushing the intercom button.

"Nobody is getting in this mansion." The lady retorted, sounding at her wit's end.

"Excuse me." Sakira's soft voice was heard over the intercom now.

"What do you need?" The lady rudely questioned.

"I understand that you're not letting Kurogane and my friends inside. And I understand you're doing your job, but we are having a party, and they were invited. Can you please let them in now?" Sakira politely spoke with this lady.

"As I told those people out there, nobody is getting in. And if they don't leave in the next five minutes, I'm calling for security or the cops. Now, go back to doing whatever it was you were doing and leave the security detail to me." The lady ordered, irking everyone waiting to get inside.

"But I just told you they were invited. I can see everyone out there though the monitors. There's nobody we don't know out there." Sakira softly spoke.

"I've tried being nice to you. Now, listen here you little gold-digging-slut. Nobody is getting past that gate and into the mansion! And I do not listen to you; you're not my boss!" The lady rudely snapped at Sakira.

Everyone could hear Sakira gasp and the hurt in her gasp.

"That is enough!" Kurogane's angry voice was heard next.

"Master Kurogane. It's good to see you. I was just telling your lovely girlfriend…" "Don't. Just stop right there. I heard what you said just fine." Kurogane angrily interrupted the lady.

"She's in for it now." Akari muttered.

"Yeah. If there are two things that bother Sakira, they're being called a gold digger and a slut—or whore. Those are the last things Sakira is. Kurogane is about to really go off now." Sumire added with a frustrated sigh.

"Master Kurogane, the little slut is just after your money. Why can't you see that?" The lady questioned, standing her ground.

"Sakira, wait! Great. Now, listen here, whoever you are. Sakira is not a gold-digging slut. She doesn't want any money and she sure as hell isn't ready for anything sexual. Not that any of that is your damn business. I knew hiring a new guard was a mistake. I don't care what my uncle has to say; he has no say over this house. It's not his; it's mine. Do you know how hard it was to get Sakira to agree to stay here where I knew she'd be safe instead of some foster care or group home—or wherever else she would have been taken or put into. This is her home just as much as it is mine. That being said, she is most certainly your boss just as much as I am. You listen to her just as much as you listen to me. And as this note right here says, yes, there is a Christmas party happening. And everyone who is attending is written on that guest list right next to it. And everyone on that list are standing right in front of the gate, waiting to be let in. And I see several of Sakira's friends down there who are to be let in automatically. See these pictures with the names next to them? They are to automatically be let in. Sumire, Namika, Himawari, Kiku, Akari, Tsubaki, Usagi, and Mamoru. Do you understand what I am saying to you? Let them in—now." Kurogane went off on this lady, shocking a few of the girls with how he was acting.

"Wow." The girls were too stunned to say anything else.

"Kurogane is very protective of Sakira." Sumire, Namika, Himawari, and Kiku spoke, waiting.

"You don't even like Christmas or parties." The lady argued.

"Who the hell said I didn't like Christmas? I like Christmas. No, I don't particularly care for parties, but I do love Sakira. This party is for her; I am doing it for her. So, let them in—now." Kurogane angrily retorted before ordering.

"Sorry for the inconvenience. Please come in, honored guests." The lady spoke—a little scared at first before becoming sarcastic.

"Better than nothing, I suppose." Kurogane sighed.

"Now, what?" The lady questioned.

"Koda, Yumi: please escort her out of the building and make sure she leaves accordingly. You can collect your things and leave the entire premises." Kurogane was heard ordering some people before firmly telling the lady.

"Excuse me?" The lady questioned, shocked.

"You heard me. You're fired and I want you out." Kurogane informed.

"You can't do that to me. Your uncle…" "Yes, I can—and I did. And once again, I do not care what my so-called uncle has to say; he has no say in this house. He has no rights to this house. This was my mother's home, not my father's. My uncle was my father's brother, not my mother's. My mother left me this place. My sister and brother got the other ones. Again, my so-called, good-for-nothing, two-faced, unwanted uncle has no right or say to my home. If you wish to try to work for my sister or brother, good luck because I highly doubt they'll let you in either. Good day." The lady tried arguing again before Kurogane interrupted her.

Usagi and the rest of the gang stayed outside to listen in on the conversation. By the end, they could tell he was no longer angry; he was beyond furious.

"We'd better head inside now." Ami insisted, following Sumire and Namika.

"Right." The others agreed, following them inside.

Inside, they were greeted by Riku and Hinote.

"Right this way. There is a table for the gifts." Hinote informed the girls, leading them into the living room…
