It was a beautiful night as Anya and her family were relaxing in the living room as things seemed quite peaceful.

"Anya, how's school been for you? I've heard you had recently stepped down from being class president and it was quite shocking to hear" Casey had asked his daughter in a rather curious tone of voice as he continued to read his newspaper while waiting on an answer.

"Well, things have been going quite good for me, father, and I had to step down to focus on upcoming exams that's set during the end of the semester but overall school life has been going quite good" Anya had answered back as this made her father smile rather warmly at her.

"I'm glad to hear that, and how about you, Frederick? How is school going for you, my son" Casey had spoken back to Anya while also talking to Frederick as well while waiting for an answer.

"School has been good and I've been making progress in having friends so I can't really complain" Fredreick had answered back while Casey smiled back at his children as he looked over to see Anastasia walking over with two cups of tea which made him happy.

"Here's your tea honey and be careful, it's pretty hot, okay?" Anastasia had wanted her husband while carefully giving him the tea which he accepted.

"Thank you, you always make the best teas, it's quite refreshing" Casey had complimented before giving his wife a small kiss which was met with snickers from Frederick while Anya didn't mind this.

"By the way, how has Uncle Alexei been doing? It's been quite some time since we last saw him in person" Anya had asked her mother while waiting for an answer as Anastasia began to speak.

"Alexei has been going quite well, he's been navigating life and other such things while dealing with his condition but other than that, he's been fine overall" Anastasia had answered back in a soothing tone of voice as this made Anya smile with relief.

"I'm glad to hear that, It makes me happy to know that my family is doing well" Anya had spoken back with a warm smile on her face as there was suddenly a knock on the door which alerted everyone in the room.

"Everyone stay here and I'll get the door, okay?" Casey had advised his family in a cautious tone of voice while everyone nodded their heads in understandment as the man had gotten up from the couch and made his way towards the door until he was in front of it.

"Who is it?" Casey simply uttered out in a curious tone of voice as there was silence for a few seconds until the voice began to speak.

"G-Good evening, My name is Angel and I'm a wishing fairy, I've come to grant you and your family three wishes!" Angel had responded back in a polite tone of voice.

Angel was a young girl with a soft spoken voice and she wore a beautiful blue dress and her hair was blonde.

"Wishing fairy? You must be one of those pranksters, right? But we can still let you in since it's quite late" Casey had spoken back while this made Angel smile rather warmly at the man.

"Thank you, I'll explain the rules to the rest of your family…" Angel had spoken back as the young girl had made herself in the house while Anya and Frederick watched with curiosity.

"I wonder if she's truly able to grant wishes.." Anya had thought to herself as she had seen the young girl sitting on the floor across from them as Anastasia began to speak.

"Where are your parents? I think I should give them a call since it's pretty late, " Anastasia had asked the young girl while getting up and heading towards the phone; however, Angel quickly gave the woman reassurance.

"It's okay, I don't have a mother or at least guardians in this place, my place of origins is located next to the brightest star in the sky which is Venus but that star only appears once every eighty-two years during November and once I appear, I shall grant everyone one perfect wish" Angel had explained to Anastasia and everyone else as this captured everyone's attentions.

"One wish?! That's wonderful! Are there any rules or catches that we need to know?" Anya had asked Angel in a tone of curiosity while she waited for an answer as Angel began to speak

"Of course, the main rules are that I can't bring back those who had died nor cure any illnesses, diseases, and other such terrible things but at least I can grant a wish that can make you and your family happy" Angel had responded back in a polite tone of voice as this made Anya and her family nod their heads in understandment.

"I see, well, I don't know what to exactly wish for since I'm pretty content with myself so I'll pass the offer on to someone else" Anya had responded back while looking over at her family as they had understood her reasoning.

"That's a good response and I do want a wish but I don't have an exact one in mind.." Casey has spoken to his daughter while thinking about what wish he could want while Anastasia had begun to speak.

"Maybe we should wish for good wellness for the upcoming year that's in a few weeks and as a mother and wife, that would make me happy" Anastasia had suggested to her husband while gently touching his arm while looking over to see her son trapped in his thoughts.

"What about you Frederick? Do you want a wish or should me or your father be the ones to make the wish?" Anastasia had asked her son in a gentle tone of voice while waiting for a response from the young boy.

"Maybe we can wish for a ton of candy, desserts, and other such tasty things! That's my wish!" Frederick had answered back in a joyous tone of voice as this made Anastasia giggle rather cutely at this while Anya and her father were taken by surprise at this request.

"But where would we put it? It could be a thing where we have to make room for all of those sweets! It will be quite troublesome" Anya had spoken out with a mixture of sternness yet confusion while her father chuckled to himself.

"Now he's only a kid, I'm sure we'll put the sweets somewhere, I hope…" Casey had spoken to his daughter while Angel watched the family talking amongst themselves which made her smile.

"This family, they're not fighting on whoever gets the wish but rather discussing amongst themselves on what wish is right…" Angel had thought to herself as she let out a smile before finally speaking to Casey.

"Sir, did you still have a wish in mind? It seems that everyone doesn't mind if you were the one to decide the wish" Angel had asked Casey in a curious yet polite tone of voice as this prompted the man to respond back.

"My wish, well, my only wish is huge blessings for my family, that's my wish. I just want everyone to be happy and content with themselves" Casey had spoken back to the girl while looking over at his family to see them smiling at his wish.

"That's wonderful, father. I believe that's the wish I also want as well" Anya had spoken out in agreement while her mother and brother agreed to this as well which made Angel smile rather warmly.

"Very well then! I shall grant everyone's wish and with that, I shall be taking my leave and thank you guys so much for the kindness…" Angel had spoken out in the same polite tone of voice as she stood up while waving goodbye to everyone in the room.

"Thank you so much, and goodbye to you as well" Anastasia had spoken out to the fairy as she, her husband, Anya, and Fredreick had seen Angel disappearing back to where she came from which prompted Anya and her family to quickly go outside to see the star which Angel was referring to and to their surprise, it was quite the beautiful site as it was twinkling right beside Venus.

"Wooow, It's so beautiful! Charlotte and the others won't believe this when I tell them!" Anya had spoken out in awestruck while her father nodded his head in agreement.

"Same for the guys at work and theater, they'll just call me crazy or something…" Casey had spoken out to his daughter in agreement while putting his hands in his pocket to feel something which caught his attention as this prompted him to take out whatever was in his pocket and to his surprise, it was a mysterious check with the amount being fifty-five dollars which surprised him as this made him smile.

"Thank you, kind fairy…" Casey had thought to himself as he stood proud alongside his family while being content with their blessings and despite what hardships the family might face, they'll always be at peace knowing that they have each other and that's what truly counts.
