(The Upcoming Talent Show)

*November 14th, 1941*

*10:22am*

*Highlands High School*

Anya and her friends were helping in setting up with the upcoming talent show which was scheduled for later today as this brought excitement to the group.

"I hope this talent show goes wonderfully, we've put our blood, sweat, and tears into making sure that everything goes well" Anya had spoken out to her friends as everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

"I'm sure it will go well, I may not be entering but I'm still gonna cheer for Allison, Russell, and Carrie since they decided to enter as well so that's something on the bright side" Mai had spoken back to her friend as she was met with Anya smiling back.

"You're right but the main issue is that Allison doesn't feel confident in his singing voice which could be a problem and I hope that doesn't interfere with his big day" Anya had spoken back to her friend while Mai continued to smile back.

"It is quite understandable since there's gonna be plenty of people but I'm hoping Allison is able to conquer those fears at the least" Mai had spoken back to her friend as both girls shared a smile together while Nancy and Charlotte nodded their heads in agreement.

"I would have signed up but I decided to just watch this year but I know that Russell and everyone else is gonna do quite a good job but to change subjects. Have you been writing or talking to Cynthia on the phone lately?" Charlotte had spoken to Anya in a curious tone of voice as. Anya began to speak.

"Oh, Cynthia? Well, I've never gotten a chance to get whatever home telephone number she uses but I've been writing to her and she's doing well" Anya had answered back while she began to work on one of the letters that goes to the talent show sign while Charlotte nodded her head in understandment as she began to speak.

"Well, that's good to hear and I'm glad you and Cynthia are still speaking to each other" Charlotte had spoken back to her friend as Anya nodded her head in agreement while Nancy began to chime into the conversation.

"Looking back, it was pretty interesting that you and Cynthia look quite identical to the point where we couldn't tell but it goes to show that there are just people out there that look exactly like you" Nancy had spoken out to Anya as well while thinking back on her encounter with Cynthia and eventual friendship with her as Anya began to speak.

"Who knows, she might come back and visit us so that's something to look forward to but to change subjects, has anyone seen Allison, Russell, and Carrie? I could have sworn that they were gonna help us or are they at auditions?" Anya had spoken back to her friends as everyone nodded their heads in agreement as Mai began to answer back.

"You're right and it's gonna be worth the wait and to answer your question, I believe the three are busy with preparing for auditions so they won't be able to join us so we won't be seeing them until the event of the talent show" Mai had answered back while helping Anya with her side of the project while also doing her portion as well.

"I see, well, It also makes sense as well so I do understand that at the very least" Anya had spoken back to her friend as the girls continued to help each other on the project they was doing while Charlotte and Nancy helped with their portion of the project as this was seen by Greta who had just entered the room.

"Good Morning, guys, how's the work coming along? If you guys need my help then please let me know '' Greta had spoken out to her friends with a smile on her face as this prompted Charlotte to speak back.

"Sure, we'll love to get all the help that we need and work has been coming along pretty well so far but how are things on your end?" Charlotte had answered back as she carefully moved over so that Greta could sit next to her as the pair began to help each other with the project.

"Things have been going very well and I've mostly been helping Principal Sheldon with the usual school stuff but, yeah! Things just has been busy but pretty relaxing at the same time but I must ask, where's Emma at?" Greta had answered back in a polite tone of voice as she waited for a response from Charlotte as the young girl began to speak back.

"My girlfriend? She's helping with auditions so she won't be here for this time period but if you are wondering how she is doing then she's doing quite well today" Charlotte had answered back with a smile on her face as both girls shared a smile together.

"I see, well, I'm glad to hear that'' Greta had responded back to Charlotte as she looked over to see Anya and Mai working together which prompted her to speak to them.

"Hey guys! It's good to see you both and how is one of my favorite people doing today?" Greta had spoken out to Anya and Mai with a smile on her face as this prompted the girls to smile back as they were glad to have seen their friend.

"I've been doing great recently and It's nice to see you as well! I hope your work with Principal Sheldon has been treating you good these past few days" Anya had spoken back to her friend while waving at her while Mai was also waving at her as well.

"And I've been doing pretty good, I'm mostly studying and doing whatever homework I can but nonetheless, I've been good" Mai had also spoken back to Greta while she and Anya smiled back as this was good news to Greta.

"I'm glad to hear that from the both of you and I hope that you guys are able to enjoy yourselves for the talent show later today as well" Greta had spoken back to her friends as for the reminder of the hour, she and everyone else helped each other out with the talent show setup.

*Audition room*

Allison, Russell, and Carrie were sitting at the audition area as the trio was excited for the talent show that was later today.

"This is all exciting, I can't wait for the talent show, I may not be good at singing like Allison but at least I can dance around or something like that" Carrie had spoken out to her friends in a tone of excitement while Allison and Russell nodded their heads in agreement as the trio shared a small laugh together.

"I'm with you, I'm pretty nervous tho since I'm gonna be singing in front of many people but like you said earlier today, I got this so I must keep the faith" Allison had out to Carrie as this made her smile while Russell began to speak out.

"And for me, I'm just gonna do some magic tricks and that's about it but I know that you guys are gonna provide a rather more interesting show than me" Russell had spoken out to his friends while Allison was quick to defend him.

"Not true at all! I bet that your show is gonna be good, at least in my opinion so don't get too worried, okay?" Allison had spoken back to his friend in hopes of at least making Russell more confident in himself.

"Thanks, I promise to at least do my best!" Russell had spoken back to Allison as both boys shared a warm smile together while they began to hear the sounds of the microphone being tapped by Principal Sheldon.

"Alright! It's now time to begin the auditions for the talent show!" Principal Sheldon had cried out in a tone of joy as sounds of clapping were heard when he said this which made him smile.

"Alright, It's time!" Carrie had spoken out with a huge smile on her face as she and her friends knew it was time for auditions to officially begin.
