When drayden heard that his son had asked for a couple days off he had a feeling that something was amiss
emmet (and Ingo) love their job to much to take days off for a vacation the only time emmet took days off was when Ingo disappeared so something had to be going on
he didn't expect to see Ingo there with a goatee but he wasn't complaining because his son was alive
"iris!" Drayden yelled to his daughter "we need to go see emmet!"
"why? Is something wrong?" She asked
"no quite the opposite." Drayden said "he found him."
"who? Ingo? Did he really?!?" Iris said hopeful that her brother had been found
"yes it is him." Drayden said "now hurry we don't have any time to waste!"
"right!" Iris said while nodding
once outside he sent out a dragonite and she sent out an altaria and they both flew to nimbasa city
once they arrived they ran to Ingo's and emmet's apartment
drayden knocked at the door and emmet answered
"hi dad!" Emmet greeted "hi Iris!"
"emmet is it true?" Iris asked "did you find him?"
"well not just him." Emmet said
"I have someone I would like you to meet." Ingo said from inside
they entered and saw Ingo with a 12 year old boy with a scar on his cheek silver eyes and long messy white hair that went down to his back
"this is my son Lincoln." Ingo introduced
"hi!" Lincoln said
Iris's jaw dropped and drayden was left speechless
"SON!?" Iris yelled "you mister "I don't need love when I have trains" have a KID?!?"
"well I'm adopted but still." Lincoln said
"I see." Drayden said "but that does raise the question: where were you?"
"well..." Ingo began
30 minutes of explanations later
Iris and drayden were shocked at Ingo's explanation, the past, amnesia, all of it they were stunned at the end
"so that's what happened." Iris said "just one more question? How did you get that scar Lincoln?"
"Iris!" Drayden scolded "that may be a sensitive subject."
"nah it's fine it's not even my worst one." Lincoln said
"what..." drayden said
"yea look!" Lincoln said pull up his shirt to show his scars
there was a massive a scar right across his chest from his shoulder to presumably his hip and another one the size of draydens fist on his right side.
this made iris and elsea gasp and it almost made emmet faint.
"that is verrry concerning." Emmet said while trying to hang on to consciousness
"how?" Drayden asked
"well the big one is from a carnivine, it happened when I took a power whip for a friend." Lincoln explained "I nearly gave dad a heart attack when that happened."
"and the other?" Drayden asked
"I got stabbed by giratina." Lincoln said causally
"YOU WHAT?!?" Emmet yelled as everyone who didn't know looked pale
"yea it pulled a cheap shot on me." Lincoln said bitterly
"how are you so calm about this?" Drayden asked
"well the first one was over a year ago and the second was healed." Lincoln said while smiling thats when drayden noticed something about Lincoln's teeth
"uh Lincoln you might wanna have a look in the mirror." Drayden said
"huh?" Lincoln said before checking himself in the mirror
his canine teeth were bigger than normal and his buck teeth are gone replaced by normal teeth
"huh?!? How did this happen?!?" Lincoln said as he walked out of the bathroom
"Lincoln what Pokémon were you healed by?" Drayden asked
"well dad called upon the original dragon to kick giratina's butt after it stabbed me and then it healed me" Lincoln said
this made emmet spit out his drink, made elsea nearly fall over, made Iris fainted and drayden was wide eyed
"what..." drayden said before turning to Ingo
"now I know that sounds bad." Ingo said
"you summoned the original dragon..." Drayden said
"yes..." Ingo said
"how?" Drayden said while trying to wake up Iris
"pure rage." Ingo simply stated
"I see." Drayden said before turning to Lincoln "it seems that kyurem healing you has had effects on your body."
"really?" Lincoln asked
"yes it could also explain why you are so casual about this." Drayden continued as Iris woke up
that did make sense Lincoln never had any nightmares at all about volo or giratina
"so wait am i gonna turn into a dragon?" Lincoln asked concerned
"no most dragon type trainers grow fangs if they are surrounded by dragon types their whole life." Drayden explained
"like me!" Iris said showing Lincoln her tiny fangs
" I see." Lincoln said
"well this has been nice." Emmet said "now dad could you hold Ingo down while I shave his beard."
"nope." Drayden said
"ugh Iris can you?" Emmet said
"on it!" Iris said only to be picked up one handed by Lincoln
"woah! you are half my size how are you doing this?!?" iris asked
"I work out." Was all Lincoln had to say
"OH COME ON!" Emmet said
"if it makes you feel any better emmet I can do the same thing." Ingo said "so it wouldn't matter."
"I am emmet and I call bullshit!" Emmet said
Ingo simply sighed and picked up emmet over his head
"I am emmet I am also afraid of heights!!!" Emmet yelled
Lincoln let out a laugh at this
a month later
everything had almost returned to normal and soon it will be a new normal
the adoption agency hadn't found anything on Lincoln in unova or any other region they suspected that he could be from North America but without proof they couldn't access it the only thing that they could figure out about Lincoln was that he was born on march 26
"so is it done?" Ingo asked
"yup the final checks are complete mister Ingo." The worker said "I look forward to seeing you on the singles lines again."
"I do too." Ingo said "and I hope one day that Lincoln will do so in my stead one day."
"Lincoln is now officially "Lincoln nobori"." The worker said handing ingo the adoption papers
and with that Ingo left the agency where Lincoln and emmet were waiting for him outside
Lincoln had cut his hair Down to just touching his shoulders and got the same sideburns his uncle and father have
"so is it done dad?" Lincoln asked
"yes it is." Ingo said
"YES!" Lincoln exclaimed
"I am emmet, I am now legally an uncle!" Emmet said
"indeed now full speed ahead!" Ingo said
"yea let's go get a pizza!" Lincoln said
and that's chapter 3 oh boy!
next chapter will probably be a Christmas special and the chapter after that will be a battle subway chapter
so yea Lincoln got officially adopted he also is super strong he gets that as a treat
