On this chilly Monday morning, Logan is waiting for the bus with his friends. Despite wearing a large, well-insulated coat, he is still shivering and uncomfortable in the snow-covered environment.

"Logan, your face is completely red like a tomato," James observes.

"I'm aware, James. My body is trying to warm up, but please refrain from stating the obvious," Logan responds, feeling irritated.

"Sorry about that," James apologizes.

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have snapped at you. I had a stressful morning at home, and I shouldn't take it out on you guys," Logan admits.

"Talking about it might help," Kendall suggests.

"He's right, Logie," Carlos agrees.

Logan proceeds to explain his morning mishaps, including stubbing his toe on a robot, his electric toothbrush breaking, and his sick father. His friends offer their sympathies and hope that the rest of his day will be better.

"Thanks, guys," Logan says as the bus finally arrives, and they all board.

In the hallway.

Logan inquires, "Are you all preparing for Ms. Jenkins' history exam?" as he unlocks his locker to retrieve his materials for the first period.

Kendall responds, "We're trying our best, Logan, but Ms. Jenkins is a very rigorous teacher, and comprehending the lessons she teaches is quite challenging."

Logan suggests, "Whenever I feel overwhelmed with the lessons, I just ask questions. Don't you do the same?"

Kendall admits, "Occasionally, but listening to her explanations is like hearing a foreign language. It feels like my brain is about to explode."

James shares, "My father believes that she should be more empathetic towards our emotions and the stress we experience in her class."

Carlos adds, "My mother doesn't like her."

Logan empathizes, "I understand how you all feel. I do enjoy learning about history, but sometimes, I don't find her class enjoyable."
