Derek's heart was racing now, when on when would he get to see his baby girl walk down the aisle that two of his best friends had just come, then it happened, the music changed to the bridal march and everybody stood up and turned around to see Dave and Penelope standing there. Dave grinned and said, "here we go kitten", she smiled brightly as the two of them then started slowly making their way up the rose petal path.
Each step was bringing her closer and closer to her forever love with her hotstuff, she was finally about to get the love of her life, her soulmate as her husband and the closer she got to him the more she wanted a life with him. When Dave and Penelope stopped beside Derek, he kissed her on the cheek and said, "you look so beautiful kitten, we all want you know how much we love you and Derek", he then put her hand in Derek's and said ,"take good care of her son", Derek nodded his head and said, "forever and always Dave, forever and always".
Dave then walked over and stood by Fran and the others as they waited for the minister to start the ceremony, after looking around at all of the happy, smiling faces the minister said, "you may be seated", everybody sat down and only had to wait a couple of seconds before the minister would start things off. He said, "Dearly beloved we are gathered here today in the presence of God and these witnesses to join together in the bonds of holy matrimony Derek Michael Morgan and Penelope Grace Garcia".
Derek and Penelope smiled as they looked lovingly into each others eyes, they then looked at the minister as he asked, "who gives this woman away today?", Dave stood up and said, "here family and I do", the minister smiled and nodded his head before Dave sat back down beside his wife. The minister then said a prayer, wishing the couple a life filled with peace, joy, love and lots and lots of happiness before looking at the bridal party and asking for the wedding rings, when he did JJ and Reid stepped forward and placed the ring they were holding on the opened bible before returning to their places.
The minister then said another prayer before looking at the bride and groom, he then said, "Derek, take this ring, put it on Penelope's finger and then recite your vows to her", Derek blew out a breath as he took the gold band in his fingers, he smiled happily as he slid it onto her finger. He then gently squeezed her hand and said, "Penelope Grace Garcia, you are my baby girl, my goddess, my sweetness, you, well baby girl, you are my everything and I promise to you here today in front of God and our family that I will love, honor and cherish you for the rest of my life, you are my world and i will do anything and everything to keep you safe, healthy and happy".
"Next it was Penelope's turn, the minister looked at her and said, "Penelope, take this ring and put it on Derek's finger and then recite your vows to him", she too blew out a deep breath before nervously reaching for the golden band that was laying in the middle of the opened bible. She smiled as she said, "Derek Michael Morgan, you are my hotstuff, my angelfish, my vision, you are also my heart and the man that I love with all of my heart and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with and I, today here in the presence of God and our family promise to love, honor and cherish you for as long as I love".
Fran smiled as she wiped away a tear as it slid down her cheek, her attention then quickly turned back as the minister said, "if there is anybody here that can show just cause why these two can't be lawfully joined, let them speak now or forever hold their peace". After a few seconds of silence he looked down at the happy couple and said, "by the powers vested in me by this state I now pronounce you husband and wife", he then looked at Derek and said, "Derek, you may kiss your bride".
Derek, not needing to be told twice, cupped Penelope's face in his hands and then leaned in and pressed his lips against hers in a soft, gentle and loving kiss, when they pulled apart the minister said, "ladies and gentlemen it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you for the first time ever Mr. and Mrs. Derek Morgan". The air was filled with the clapping of hands and the shouts of congratulations as the newlyweds shared another kiss, this time when they pulled apart the looking at each other and smiled, Derek then said, "I love you Mrs. Morgan", she winked at him and said, "and I love you Mr. Morgan, now and forever".
Fran looked at the minister and said, "we are having a reception dinner inside Paul and we would love it if you could stay", the minister said, "thank you Fran, I would love to but I have another service to officiate over in about half an hour". He then looked at Derek and Penelope and said, "congratulations you two, I wish you a marriage filled with love, peace and happiness", Fran said, "and grand babies, lots and lots of grand babies", everybody laughed as Derek said, "maaaaaaaaa", the minister grinned and said, "yes and lots of grand babies for Fran and Dave to spoil", everybody laughed, the minister then stayed for a few more minutes before he said his goodbyes and turned around and walked back across the yard.
Derek intertwined fingers with his bride and said, "shall we party Mrs. Morgan?", she looked at him and said, "oh it's a must Mr. Morgan, a must", they then fell in line behind the rest of the family as they headed across the yard and stepped into the house so that they could celebrate with the newlyweds as they started on their lives together.
