A/N so sorry for not updating as regularly as I usually do. Life has been a little odd lately. Anyway, thank you for reading and reviewing. Also is anyone else having issues with email alerts?

Ros stayed in her seat as she thought about what the former Home Secretary had told her. She knew Pauline Crowther knew her stuff, the woman had been in politics all her adult life and was the widow of one of the most respected spies that MI 5 had ever produced. Now heading into her late 60s the woman remained a force to be reckoned with. She sipped her drink, watching the various customers and staff of the little coffee shop go about their daily life without a clue as to how much danger they were all in. She sighed, for a moment she envied them all.

Harry sat in the library, book in lap he looked like any other patron of the small run down council run establishment. He knew his contact would be there, he had to hope the rouse worked. Anouska Krycheck had to believe he had died in the car bomb. He knew it was risky but he knew the next few minutes were vital. He slipped his reading glasses onto his nose, keeping an eye on the small building as a man a few years older than him walked towards the shelf nearest to him.
"Sorry." The man sighed. "I'm looking for the John Le Carrie section? You know, espionage section?" The pensioner smirked. Harry shrugged.
"Not sure, not an area I'm interested in." He spoke calmly.
"No, not for everyone." The man placed a book on the shelf before walking away. Harry waited a moment before getting to his feet and retrieving the book.
"Thank you." He whispered as he put the memory stick he found in the abandoned book in his pocket. She had taken the bait.

Ros walked back onto the Grid to see both Adam and Ruth in an animated discussion with a man she recognised from the JIC. Glaring she marched towards the trio as Adam turned slightly.
"Section Chief Ros Myers." He nodded to the thin faced man. "This is our new Section Head. Sir Alistair Farquar."
"I am here to replace Harry." He held out a hand for her to shake. Ros ignored it.
"No." Ros snapped. "Adam, Ruth." She turned to them. "You have work? Yes."
"Yes." Ruth looked on the verge of tears as Zaf approached them. Adam ushered Ruth away, almost feeling sorry for the newcomer.
"Officer Myers."
She turned around on her heel, eyes fixed on the man in front of her.
"Firstly, I am Section Chief. You will address me as such. You are not replacing Harry. You are merely doing the same job."
"He isn't coming back. I am sorry to say he IS dead."
Ros narrowed her eyes, breathing in sharply as she heard Calum swear as they passed his desk.
"And his wife, daughter and son in law work here. YOU have no idea how this Section works. YOU have no idea what it takes to keep it all together and get the results we do. I strongly suggest you keep your mouth shut and yourself out of my way."
"I can have you replaced." Farquar hissed. Ros seemed to ponder his words for a moment.
"Try." She stated calmly. "I dare you." She headed over to her desk, knowing that he was watching her. She sat down, booted up her computer and sent the numbers Crowther had given her to Malcolm who was at her side in seconds.
"Where did you get these?" He asked quietly.
"You know what they are?"
"Yes, and I am assuming you also know."
Ros inclined her head once. "Not here."
"Where?"
"The Bolt Hole. As soon as we can without that so called Section Head clicks we aren't listening to him."
"Will he replace you?"
"He can try." Ros snapped as Malcolm smiled at her.
"Later then?"
"Yes." Ros turned back to her computer trusting Malcolm would know what to do.
